Western Panjabi
The cited source which claims 60,600,000 million speakers in Pakistan, also claims around 2 million speakers in India, which is why I felt the need to correct it. Why did you revert it back? Also, I had to fix the language family in the box, because it was a bit of a mess and didn't display properly, which you also reverted back. Why? 79.181.112.118 (talk) 14:58, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
Haryanvi wiki discussion
Utcursch, the salient features of the language should be allowed to stay on the page. I understand that you have an issue with the history that was being retold but many language pages on wikipedia do showcase some of the special words or features of the language. So, kindly allow me to add the various similarities with Marathi, Latin, Finnish and English back to the page. We would refrain from making judgmental statements but we must also realize that similar sounding words having the same meaning is more than a "sheer coincidence". 112.79.128.144 (talk) 07:26, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
- Find a reliable reference that supports your claim, and we've no problem with your additions. As for similarities, have a look at false cognate. utcursch | talk 08:35, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

Re:Gujjar
Hi and thanks for your intervention in Gujjar, but must say I take exception to this comment. As a practicing Sikh I do not believe in caste, and never will. It is Hindu Varna that believes in caste and if sources state that such and such group are such and such status, then so be it. This includes my own group Jat. So in future, please be mindful of such comments. I find them thoroughly hurtful. Regards--Sikh-History 22:10, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Hello Utcursch! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 401 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

regarding hindi and urdu
if you cannot understand the simple points i made about urdu being a derived language of hindi and copying all of hindi's syntax, structure and grammar, i guess it simply means you have an extremely reduced mental function. urdu cannot exist without using hindi's grammar, structure and syntax which is sanskrit based. hindi can exist independently without persian words. urdu cannot exist without hindi. urdu is simply addition of persian words to hindi and is written in arabic script. addition of latin words to english will not make english as latin. doctors use many latin words but the language they use is called english and not latin!!! and i do not have the inclination to edit this project/waste time which makes people like you administrators! I guess you have regressive political bias issues which prevents you from functioning in an intelligent manner which is recognizing and appreciating the TRUTH. "Ghalloghara" and Saffron terror
Regarding your edits to [1], there are other problems too, like linking to the racist film Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom[2], and related WP:SYN problems in Saffron Terror[3].117.194.198.217 (talk) 07:41, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
- Dear administrator, I am seeing a little challenge here. This anon is deleting 1, 2, 3 huge chunk of information for no reason. It is a clear wp:vandalism, wp:pov pushing and probably way more... I hope you could intervene to save referenced wikipedia information...--DawnOfTheBlood (talk) 07:52, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
- I am in favor of expanding the article, but the text removed by the anon is synthesis of various articles without any references for the use of the term "Hindu terrorism" to describe the incidents. Besides, much of the text is copy-pasted from other sources (e.g. ToI). For resolving the disputes, I encourage both of you to have a look at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution. utcursch | talk 07:55, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
- Please see WP:NOR. Linking a bunch of incidents in India (like Babri Masjid, Christian conflicts etc.) to alleged Saffron terror without attributable sources is a massive violation of several wp policies. Furthermore, wikipedia is not about "The truth", it's about verifiability.117.194.198.217 (talk) 07:57, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
