Arbitration report
The Arbitration Committee closed one case this week and opened another, leaving one case open.
Open cases
- Race and intelligence (Week 1): The case was opened to examine accusations of incivility, disruptive editing, and tag-teaming in order to control the content on articles related to race and intelligence. Currently in the evidence/workshop phase.
Recently closed
- Transcendental Meditation movement: The case was opened to deal with circumstances surrounding articles related to the eponymous movement. As a result of the case, discretionary sanctions were enabled in the subject area and Fladrif was placed under an editing restriction. In addition, the Committee encouraged uninvolved administrators to monitor the topic area to ensure that articles comply with Wikipedia policy, and noted it can invoke its right to review the behavior of editors working in the topic.
Other
- A request for arbitration that was initiated over two weeks ago has still neither been accepted nor declined by the Committee.
