You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on User talk:99.236.125.59. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Removal of a warning template means the user has read the template, please do not edit war by adding the template again once the user has read it. RandomTime 17:49, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

The person from Tamil Nadu who keeps tagging Swarnavalli Mutt for deletion is obviously the same one who tagged Ramachandrapura Math for deletion. I wondered if they might be the same person as Wildtangentx (talk · contribs) who has been tagging Prithviraj Chauhan. SInce the mutt/math taggings are from a different address each time, there is little we can do except watch and revert. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:10, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

Formatting names of songs and names of films
Thanks for the huge amount of work you did on this revision of [Kumar] back in July 2007. That really helped make the article more comprehensive. However, both song names and film names were put in italics. I've been making some changes to that. Quotation marks should be used for the names of songs (and also for articles, chapters), while italics should be used for the names of films (and also books, newspapers, magazines). I haven't yet been able to reformat all the italicized song names so that they are in quotation marks, but I've made a start. 99.141.65.144 (talk) 13:13, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
Rajput
I should have some free time after mid-August. Would you like me to help with cleaning up the Rajput Article Gorkhali (talk) 02:27, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
- All the articles in Category:Indian caste system have been on my cleanup list since past few years. But, I've almost given up on them, since every time some caste supremacist comes along and turns a neutral article into an ethnic glorification piece. I'd love to help with whatever I can, though :-) utcursch | talk 08:38, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
I know exactly what you mean, it seems many times that some folks come on here to toot their horn at how great they are. I'll try and help once my schedule eases up a bit to clean up the article and also review the listed references and see where the source material is really coming from.

image removed from Rajput
What is wrong with image File:Rajlogo.jpg which removed from Rajput? User:Diannaa corrected citation earlier which was quite okay. This image is there for last six year without any dispute at home page at one of the oldest and leading Rajput discussion group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rajputworld with image source reference http://xa.yimg.com/kq/groups/12125144/homepage/name/homepage.jpg?type=sn . This Rajput article was once wrestling battle with many vandalism editing which you User:Diannaa User:Utcursch succeeded in crafting it at quite good level. I am placing it back.--Mcbapu (talk) 04:55, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- The image is not an official symbol. The Roman script is especially misleading. utcursch | talk 15:20, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- Mcbapu implies that I am in favour of keeping the image when actually I am not. I have started a discussion on the Rajput talk page. Regards, --Diannaa (Talk) 03:26, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi Utcursch, didn't find another way of contacting you. Just wanted to say great work on the NCERT index! User:Ppwrong
Hi friend. I need your urgent help with Ppwrong (talk · contribs). He keeps adding incorrect information and keeps edit warring. He confuses the Indian National Film Awards with the Rashtrapati Award, loading the Best Actor/Actress pages with false and unsourced names. I asked him to cite sources but all he does is citing Wikipedia pages, keeping his reverts, and above all, using personal attacks, calling me a racist for no reason and using capitals. He also simultaneously uses an IP account - 121.247.113.58 (talk · contribs) to add his false data. His edit summaries contain incorrect statements. The user was warned in the past for other disruptive edits and his IP has already been blocked.
In more detail, the user adds a separate section to the best actor/actress pages, calling it "Rashtrapati Award", while Rashtrapati is an individual award which is still presented annually to this day. When I asked him to cite sources, he cited Wikipedia pages which themselves have no sources for these claims. I reverted him and was instantly reverted. He says "before 1968 that is from 1954 National Awards for films were given under Rashtrapati award by the Directorate of Dramatic Arts" - it is completely incorrect, since there's no such thing as Directorate of Dramatic Arts! I started a talk page discussion but I'm sure he will not adhere to the rules. Request your help. Shahid • Talk2me 19:22, 24 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi
Hey Utcursch,
I met you at the Wiki Mumbai meet the other day. I wanted to ask you a few more questions about your contribution and the wiki community for a story I am working on. I've sent you a few questions but just read that you are on vacation. Can you please tell me when you'd be able to respond?
Hope I haven't broken any wikiquette rules by posting here.

Persistent IP vandal (User:198.109.184.200 )
I don't know if it's back to school (and school computer) time, but a persistently vandalizing IP (registered to the Unionville-Sebewaing Area Schools) which you blocked for three months last March has returned to the same kind of thing again. See: User talk:198.109.184.200. Browsing lightly over contributions from this IP over the years, I fail to catch any constructive edits. —— Shakescene (talk) 05:03, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
