Lutontownfc Sandbox
You deleted the Sandbox I worked so hard on. I put almost everything that came into my head into that Sandbox, such as imaginary people, characters, boxers and plans for a story. Now it has been deleted, I'd like to find a way to have this page back. I never intended to move the page to this mainspace thing, I just wanted to change the name of the Sandbox. I don't think you even have the right to delete some drafts for pages I never even intended to make. That was private content that I never wanted others to view. I demand that you get my Sandbox back, no matter what! — Lutontownfc (talk · contribs) 20:45, 24 July 2017 (GMT)
- Lutontownfc, when you post anything to Wikipedia, even in a sandbox, you make it public and agree that anyone may edit it in any way, and that anyone may view it, or copy it, repost it elsewhere, or even sell it. Nor is Wikipedia to be used as a free web host for things "never intended" for the article mainspace. "Demands" are not likely to be taken seriously. Polite requests possibly might. DES (talk)DESiegel Contribs 02:53, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- What a barefaced cheek! You admit to using Wikipedia as a free host and then you have the effrontery to demand that the page be restored. If you promise to keep your fantasies a long way from Wikipedia and ask me nicely, I will email you the content of the page. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:03, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
Dear RHaworth I have been messaging Natg 19 about my Sandbox pages. The Sandbox I worked so hard on, and put almost everything that came into my head, was deleted only seconds after it was nominated for deletion. I was given no opportunity to save or retrieve these pages before they were deleted. I would like to find a way to have this page back. I never intended to move the page to mainspace. I just wanted to change the name of the Sandbox. I don't think the drafts for pages that I never even intended to make should have been deleted. That was private content that I never wanted others to view. I ask that you get my Sandbox pages back as soon as possible.
Please can you reply promptly to this message as I am really worried about losing all my special Sandbox work? I look forward to hearing from you soon. — Lutontownfc (talk · contribs) 22:40, 28 July 2017 (GMT)
- This edit deleted a message from Vanjagenije and reverted an edit of mine. However I am prepared to accept that it was a mistake rather than vandalism. (Clearly, you applied your edit to an out of date version of the page. If we look at it like this, its only falut is that it is unsigned.
- Regarding your sand box, let us assume that I email you the text and that, despite your statement that it is "private content that I never want others to view", you insist on posting it to the web. Given these assumptions, where would you post it? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:25, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
I don't plan to post it. I just want to have the pages I worked so hard on. PLEASE e-mail me the contents of my Sandbox, and I promise you won't hear of it again. PLEASE! Lutontownfc (talk 16:00, 31 July 2017 (GMT) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.157.87.133 (talk)
I got your e-mail. THANK YOU! I don't know HOW I can thank you, but I promise I'll never put my Sandbox on mainspace again (though last time was an accident). You don't know just how grateful I am. Speedy deletion of Peoplesopen.net article
The article was deleted under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. The Peoplesopen.net organization and the network that it has built serves hundreds to thousands of people on a daily basis, and most likely has served millions over its 4 year history, owing to its operation in a high population metropolitan area. The above fits the guidelines for Wikipedia:Credible claim of significance. l also wrote a protest using the protest link from the speedy deletion template, citing the above, as well as an NPR audio (not text) report featuring Peoplesopen.net that can be listened to at the WBUR radio website. The article's subject fits the guidelines for Wikipedia:Notability. The protest in the talk section of the page has also been deleted within the day without any apparent review. Please restore the deleted page so l can add the claims and citaion. If l don't see the page restored or hear from you within a few days, l will rewrite the page from scratch. — Ellesmelle (talk) 10:49, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- I am dubious about its notability and certainly you made absolutely no attempt to provide evidence of its notability. No need to re-write from scratch - read this. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:03, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
l see you've responded on this talk page then deleted my message to you as well as your own response. Again, this article fits the Wikipedia:Credible claim of significance criteria. — Ellesmelle (talk) 20:09, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- New messages go at the bottom of this page. Please provide a link in this style to the edit where I deleted my own response. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:26, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) @Ellesmelle: If you recreate the page, it's probably just going to get deleted again. I did a search for news sources to see if I could write up an acceptable stub article you could work with, but I can't find anything, so I don't think it's possible. — Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 11:59, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
How to reverse a deletion?
18:34, 23 July 2017 RHaworth (talk | contribs) deleted page User talk:Yfire/sandbox
How do we get it back? I tried to respond to Chris Troutman but for some reason got no response: 20:59, 20 July 2017 Hut 8.5 Chris Troutman (talk | contribs) deleted page User:Yfire/sandbox.
What I said was that...
- I am the owner of the web page that was similar to http://davidr.net/charts.html
- That web page is now gone.
I can find NO reference to this matter anywhere on your page(s) nor Chris' page(s). Maybe I do not know what I am doing? Further, I am willing to contribute the material to Wiki if that helps and I can figure out how to do it. Hope this makes sense. Thanks David R (have mercy on a former Surrey resident), Yfire (talk) 15:23, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- You seem to be conflating Hut 8.5 and Chris Troutperson - they are different people. I see no evidence of you trying to respond to Chris. I am not going to intone my "kindly" mantra in this case because your piece did not contain any reference to your
estate agentrealtor company. But it was written in an hopelessly unencyclopedic tone - we do not begin article here with "this is written for you!"! Even tidied up, I think it is likely to be rejected as essay / original research. If you want to try again: place a note in http://davidr.net/charts.html to say "the text that was here is released under a {{cc-by-sa-4.0}} licence. Re-submit a cleaned-up version and add a note one the talk page, as an HTML comment and in an edit summary explaining the copyright situation. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:26, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- I see you have now re-instated davidr.net/charts.html. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:33, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
Deletion of User:Lutontownfc/Sandbox
Hi RHaworth, can you explain why you deleted User:Lutontownfc/Sandbox? It was a sandbox / test page for @Lutontownfc:. Lutontownfc requested the page to be undeleted at my talk page. — Natg 19 (talk) 19:06, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- But Lutontownfc declared the page to be misuse of Wikipedia as a free host on my talk page. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:26, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
Hello. You salted the above because of repeated recreation. I wonder if you could unsalt it so that the expanded/referenced Draft:Lautaro Comas could be moved there. thanks, Struway2 (talk) 19:59, 25 July 2017 (UTC)

Suomen Ufotutkijat (FUFORA)
Hello. Im user Jarpska. The wikipage Suomen Ufotutkijat (FUFORA) was deleted by you with the reasoning that "A7: Article about a company, corporation or organization, which does not credibly indicate the importance or significance of the subject", I just wonder why as there's 8 other nationwide ufo research associations with a page in the English Wikipedia. Those are much shorter pages than the page I was to publish, why would all neighbouring countries of Finland have their pages of this kind in English Wikipedia but not Finland? Furthermore it is a translation of the page in Finnish Wikipedia fi:Suomen Ufotutkijat, if it passes there, why wouldnt it do in English Wikipedia? On the other hand I dont see how or why A7 is referred to here as FUFORA (Finnish ufo research association) educates uforesearchers as it is mentioned in the page. — Jarpska (talk) 21:11, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- Kindly have the decency to wait until someone who a) knows how to create wikilinks and b) has no CoI thinks your organisation is notable and writes about it here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:26, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
All these are simple excuses for your decision. Who are you to say that if FUFORA passed for Finnish Wikipedia it wouldnt be interesting or notable enough for English Wikipedia as well as for like countries like Estonia, France, Norway, Sweden, Russia, Turkey, United Kingdom and even USA did so? CoI is absurd. Who are you waiting for? Jesus himself? Think again. Jarpska (talk) 15:46, 26 July 2017 (UTC)
RHaworth!
- Theres plenty of people interesed in FURORA and would never ever join the association. i could be one of them! And there is plentiful ppl who would never ever join FURORA or Suomen Ufotutkijat as the registered name. Your exclamation of that anyone having this COL making this kind of page is is without prefounds! I could be an atheist on this branch as well!
- yOUre very wrong in many occasions if i may say so. it is most apparently you dont know the branch you are deleting with for. It is about the paranormal phenomena.
- there's plenty of ppl interestered joining FUFORA to get a meaning of their paranormal experiencies (other than just paranormal phenomena),
- atheists or other regilions want to tell about their experieniecies of their religions or want to their contactee experiencies.
amd many times that is about contactee (with an alien) experiencies, That IS NOt restricticted to evanlutheric or catholic believes. Eventhough you thought even you could join the evancletic curhch it is not that simple as you probably might know but it is wery possile. it just requires some work. But you dont need to join the protestantic church. And I wouldnt have needed to join the FUFORA if this the question you dwell with. I was yeaars without FURORA if i saw ufos or not. So there goes your commet about CoL or whatever. Now you understand? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jarpska (talk • contribs)
- Install an English spell checker on your machine. If you really insist on trying to submit a page, do so via AfC. The title should be draft:Suomen Ufotutkijat. If it gets accepted, you may create a redirect at FUFORA. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:35, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
Not keen on restoring
Hello RHaworth! I am new to Wikipedia and created a page for Dennis Keene that you deleted. If I am understanding correctly, the page was deleted because the content came from the Voices of Ascension website, however I do have premission from Dennis and Voices of Ascension to use the text from the website, as they own the copyrights. I have requested a Declaration of Consent this morning, I am hoping that will get approved and if so, will my page be restored? Sorry to be such a novice, this is my first time and I am doing my best to navigate all the Wiki guidelines! -- Hillary Megroz (talk) 16:35, 26 July 2017 (UTC)
- Forget the Declaration of Consent - by the time the text was made encyclopedic, it would cease to be a copyvio. Please read this. If you are not prepared to study Wikipedia style and write an article from scratch in your own words, then don't bother. If you do bother, the title should be Draft:Dennis Keene (conductor). — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:35, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
Thank you for your response. The copy that is on the VOA webpage, was written by me for Dennis Keene, so I am not sure why I have to re-write, since I already wrote it once? I apologize for my naivety, but I don't want to re-write unless its necessary, as I think Dennis is notable enough for Wiki. -- Hillary Megroz (talk) 16:54, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
- You clearly have no sense of appropriate writing style. From "one of leading choral conductors" in the first paragraph onwards the piece was stuffed with peacock phrases. A few were attributed - without a proper link to support the attribution - but most were not. Also the horrible <h1> name at the top of the article and the shouting of that name and other shouting in the article. Compare and contrast with our articles on other conductors. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:33, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Forgive me for interrupting, but can I ask that any new attempt to rewrite Keene's bio does not include the phrase - "Maestro Keene." Thank you both. -- Roxy the dog. bark 15:54, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
- Roxy, no need to apologise. Good faith stalkers are welcome here.
- Hillary, another horror that I missed. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:02, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
BrightEdge technologies
I see my defense was ignored. I have two requests: Please provide me the information from the page you deleted. Second, please review the other company pages - Moz_(marketing_software), Serpstat, etc. If my page was unambiguously promoting or advertising, theirs most assuredly are as well. Really don't appreciate the double standard. I get you are trying to maintain the reputation here, but this is beyond the pale here. The content, while thin, was stripped of any promotional language. 3rd party webpages were cited, and i was in the process of finding more, better references to further validate the reasonable nature of the page including the recent public patent disputes which have been publicized. Please email the information from the deleted page to [redacted] so I can try to build out a more thorough article before you lot decide to delete because "reasons". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.202.210.14 (talk) 16:52, 26 July 2017

- I have very little time for IP addresses. Feel free to take it to DRV. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:33, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
- Oy! IPs are human. I've edited logged out and got grief for it. Be nice and don't blow off editors with a "take it to DRV", expecting inexperienced editors to know what that stands for. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 21:36, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
- Being able to identify and follow links is an essential skill if one's web browsing is to be a really satisfying experience.
- Using undefined wiki jargon is something which is very likely to put off inexperienced editors. Therefore when I use such jargon I invariably create it as a link, eg. AfC. I do so even if I am trying to discourage someone from trying to contribute thus you will always see CoI on this page not simply CoI. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:21, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
I have unreviewed a page you curated
Hi, I'm Vanjagenije. I wanted to let you know that I saw the page you reviewed, Nouman Mehmood, and have un-reviewed it again. If you have any questions, please ask them on my talk page. Thank you. Vanjagenije (talk) 21:06, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
Sorry for this stupid automated message . Vanjagenije (talk) 21:07, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
- Vanjagenije, I prefer to keep threads all in one place even here where the reply has little to do with the initial message. You are allowed to be horrified at an admin asking these questions. Are reviewing and patrolling the same thing? If so why has a "Mark this page as patrolled" link not come back at the bottom of the Nouman Mehmood article? How does one un-review or un-patrol an article? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:02, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
Huh, too many questins! First one is easy: yes, reviewing and patrolling new pages is the same thing. I don't know about the mark. I am using the wp:page curation tool that appears automatically when I'm viewing new pages. When page curation is used, the "Mark this page as patrolled" link does not appear, because the page curation menu has the "Mark this page as reviewed" button. Maybe you are using the curation tool too? In page curation tool, the page is easily un-reviewed by clicking the "Mark this page as reviewed" button again. Vanjagenije (talk) 22:36, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
- Vanjagenije, I read Wikipedia:Page Curation and could not see the any instructions for turning curation on and off - somebody needs to add them if it can be turned on and off or explain how to get to it if it is permanent. Eventually, almost by accident, I noticed a "curate this page" link appearing on the left hand side of my screen - presumably for recent creations only. There is small fault in the system. As a test, I marked Tommy Vail as reviewed and promptly unreviewed it. The curation toolbar on the right thinks it is currently unreviewed but it has not returned to unreviewed status on the new pages report and the "mark this page as patrolled" link has not come back. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:25, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
As far as I know, the "mark this page as patrolled" link is always hidden when the page curation is used. But, I have no idea why the page has not returned to the new pages report. I thought the using of page curation is explained at Wikipedia:Page Curation/Help. Isn't it? Vanjagenije (talk) 09:42, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
- OK, down at the bottom of Wikipedia:Page Curation I see "if you close the Curation Toolbar accidentally, you can open it again". But I have never seen it in the first place. And it says "click on … the 'Review' button to view that page". But I have never seen a "Review" button. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:51, 30 July 2017 (UTC)

- And inverse Warburg effect has come back. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:51, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
Inverse Warburg Effect
Dear Roger The inverse Warburg effect, as cited in the Wikipedia entry, is an empirical observation which has been documented in studies of neurodegenerative diseases (ref. 1-6) and autoimmune diseases (ref. 17-20). The Inverse Warburg Hypothesis described in a separate Wikipedia Entry provides a biochemical and bioenergetic explanation of the Inverse Warburg effect. The model also accounts for the inverse association of cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. A significant feature of the model is the new class of therapeutic strategies proposed to prevent certain neurodegenerative disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease, and chronic autoimmune diseases, such as arthritis.
The theory has generated attention in the scientific community; reports of this work have appeared in scientific publications and the news media. Pertinent news media references are: - Harvard Gazette, 25th Feb. 2015: “A new understanding of Alzheimer’s”, by Peter Reuell (http://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2015/02/a-new-understanding-of-alzheimers/) - Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), 2nd Aug. 2015 : “Alzheimer: Heilung – wie nah ist man wirklich dran?“, by Joachim Müller-Jung (http://www.faz.net/aktuell/wissen/medizin-ernaehrung/streitgespraech-alzheimer-heilung-wie-nah-ist-man-wirklich-dran-13722068.html?printPagedArticle=true#pageIndex_2) - Neue Züricher Zeitung (NZZ), 21st Feb. 2015: „Alzheimer – Sind die Forscher auf dem Irrweg?“, by Theres Lüthi (https://www.nzz.ch/nzzas/nzz-am-sonntag/gegen-alzheimer-gibt-es-noch-immer-kein-medikament--weil-die-forscher-auf-dem-irrweg-sind-1.18483526) Regards, Cordula (Hasperasperagus) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hasperasperagus (talk • contribs) 06:28, 30 July 2017 (UTC)

Hello, RHaworth. It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "Wright State University Lake Campus".
In accordance with our policy that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. 12:55, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
My Silent Bravery Copyright Information
Hi RHaworth, I am having trouble understanding the submission issues that you claimed were from copyrighted material. I am interested in viewing the material that is believed to have violated the copyright. Would you be able to send me the information that is in question? draft:My Silent Bravery. — 375mon (talk) 13:42, 31 July 2017 (UTC)
- OK, it was not a solid slab of copyvio but there were sufficient copied phrases to justify deletion. More inportantly phrases such as "opened a door to spirituality and a higher calling" indicate that the piece was in an hopelessly unencyclopedic tone. Try DRV if you must. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:38, 31 July 2017 (UTC)

Alavi Bohras
Hello Sir, The file commons:File:29th Da’i Saiyedna ‘Ali Shamsuddin and the Court of Mughal Emperor.pdf has been deleted. The reason I don't know. I understand that it was not a media file but contained translated material from manuscripts which I possess. Whats the way to restore it. Or I create a separate page for it. Please suggest. Thanx. -- NoorAlavi (talk) 16:53, 31 July 2017 (UTC)
- NoorAlavi, you have been told, probably more than once, that PDFs are not usable in articles and therefore there is no point in uploading them. Please explain very carefully why you insist on posting PDFs here instead of on your own website alavibohra.org. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:33, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
Hello Editor, Being editing several pages, I understand the rules of Wikipedia. Wikipedia is an open source and could be used by anyone, anywhere and for any reason without the prior consent of the author. This is not the case for any other websites. As you are well informed more than me, I am not insisting on PDF, but only because it could be easily handled, copied, opened and edited. Now, I will not be uploading any PDF. Is it permissible to keep the same matter of PDF in some other format be creating separate page. Kindly I need your suggestion. -- NoorAlavi (talk) 04:48, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
- Please explain clearly your connection to alavibohra.org - your essays are marked "© alavibohra.org" but apparently you are not allowed to publish on that site. Yes, of course it is possible to re-submit your PDF material in an acceptable format however: a) images must be available under a {{cc-by-sa-4.0}} or compatible licence, b) we have a firm no original research rule here and, at a quick glance, your stuff looks very much like essays, c) submissions must be your work, released under a cc-by-sa-4.0 licence - none of this "© alavibohra.org" rubbish and d) you must be prepared to have your work edited mercilessly by others. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:36, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
Yes Sir, The connection with alavibohra.org is that I regularly edit there and submit my work. Unintentionally some matter gets overlapped and repeated on Wikipedia too. As you said, I will look to take care of this. The stuff of the copyright relating to www.alavibohra.org has been mistakenly uploaded here. I regret that. I think I have have removed that matter. I myself is not the web-host of alavibohra.org website. I am only the editor. For this reason my Talk page has been removed. Please allow me to recreate it. Thanking you, -- NoorAlavi (talk) 04:56, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
- Your talk page has never been removed. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:21, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
Hello sir, I want to ask you one thing that, the subject matter that has been written in my already deleted PDF file, is it permissible to add that on Wiki page after appropriately editing it as per Wiki rules? Please suggest... Thanking you. -- NoorAlavi (talk) 04:00, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
- Of course it is permissible, subject to my conditions a) b) c) d) above. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:03, 4 August 2017 (UTC)

Can you please tell me why my page was flagged? looked over the guidelines and do not understand how i did not meet them. - I am happy to email you the content - read this. However I must point out that your attempts to add your text to prostitution in Laos have been reversed with good reason and there is nowhere else for it to go. I am very sorry to say that you do not seem to have the necessary skills to edit Wikipedia. Disc filter
Hello, I noticed that you deleted the article disc filter using the rationale that the article was a copyright violation. Well, this content was first created by me in 2004 under the title disk filter. I have been upgrading some of the irrigation-related articles, and I noticed that "Disc" was more proper, so I created a new page using the old content and redirected to the new article from the old page. This is a new article in name only. The content from the web site was copied from Wikipedia, not the other way around. I wish you would have discussed this with me before just deleting the page. H-2-O (talk) 01:27, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
Ok, it looks like this could have been avoided if I had moved the article in the proper way instead of cutting and pasting. Moving articles is not something I have a lot of experience with. Can I just go ahead and revert the redirect from the old article Disk filter and then move it the proper way to Disc filter or is there now a block on re-creating that article? — H-2-O (talk) 13:59, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
- I accept your claim that the copyvio is in the opposite direction. But I find it very significant that in thirteen years (!) no-one has seen fit to improve the article or add any references. Restored to draft:disc filter. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:36, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
Well, there have been a few feeble efforts over the years. I have created some stubs that have blossomed into wonderful articles with seemingly no effort on my behalf. Unfortunately, very few of the irrigation articles have gone that way, including irrigation, the main article. I am working on improving them. I have not had the time or inclination to do so until lately. Thanks for your help. H-2-O (talk) 00:27, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
I have updated the article draft:Disc filter and submitted it for review if you would like to check it out. H-2-O (talk) 05:49, 8 August 2017 (UTC)

Vanishing
Hi there, I want to delete my account but I can't. The link to the page is User_talk:Nothing (I moved that page to Ezzy which is a redirect of this one). Also I do not want to edit Wikipedia so I want my talk page to be deleted because people might think I was vandalizing Wikipedia. My talk page is a redirect of the Ezzy article so delete that one. Also the last time somebody wrote something on my talk page was a year ago. I changed my talk page name as well. It was Ezekiel Nimoh then I changed it to nothing. I will not edit Wikipedia again so should you delete this page Ezzy. — Ezekiel Nimoh (talk) 13:14, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
I want you to use revision deletion to redact all of the Ezekiel Nimoh parts of Dawn, Dusk, Twilight, Sunrise, Sunset, Night and Daytime revision histories. I do not want anyone to know my name or see my full name on any part of the revision history. Thanks, Ezekiel Nimoh (talk) 15:56, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
- Wikipedia offers a right to vanish. Please use it instead of making cack-handed attempts to do it yourself. But you will probably need to offer better reasons why you want to vanish than you have given here. No-one is going to agree to do the revdel actions you request but if you actually wait until your vanish request is actioned, your edits will then be attributed to "vanishedUser…". — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:31, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
Joseph M. Hanna deleted
Hello, RHaworth. You deleted a page I made for Joseph M. Hanna. This was not advertorial or promotional. Hanna is the founder of a pretty significant charity, Bunkers in Baghdad. On top of that, he's been recognized as one of the top lawyers in his region of the U.S., one of the most notable "Minority Powerbrokers" in law (this was in a Law360 article I had cited), and just this past month was named one of the top 40 lawyers under the age of 36 practicing in the U.S. (this was from the American Bar Association). If you want to rearrange the page, cut certain elements -- fine. But that page did not meet the criteria for deletion. Let's fix this. — Morrisernst (talk) 12:57, 2 August 2017 (UTC)

Draft:Just Junk
I'm the creator of Draft:Just Junk that you had marked for speedy deletion. I am a new user and tasked with creating the page for the company. I based much of the content on the page on our competitor, 1-800-Got-Junk and am just curious how my page was more "advertising" in comparison to them and what I would need to do to make it more encyclopaedic. — Paulsawchuk (talk) 14:16, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
- Go back to your task-master and tell them that someone who does not know how to create wikilinks or when it's appropriate to use "its" is held in very low esteem here and people who promote their own company are held in even lower esteem. Matt Riedy: deletion and restoration
Hello there, thanks for the (baffling yet impressive) work you do here. Why was the page Matt Riedy restored? I came upon this page and saw it was 7 years of nothing and spurious to begin with. I checked the background and found the page creator had been censured for habitual creation of actor's pages consisting of nothing but a redirect to a production the actor had been in, and such pages had been deleted. So I deleted the "content" (a single redirect to Big Time Rush where a single line reveals that Matt Riedy had, indeed, been an occasional cast member) and as a fairly fresh Wikipedian I was keen to watch how it would be correctly vaporised.
Soon enough you deleted the page. Marvellous! Job done. One minute later you restored it. I can see no representations on its behalf, was the restoration maybe a mistake? Or some occult wiki agency in action? Many thanks, Captainllama (talk) 11:01, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
- Stop fussing. Amazing: you have been contributing for ten years and have still not learned that page blanking is vandalism. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:03, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
Thanks! Thanks for that. And did I say thanks for all you do for Wikipedia?….I see I did. But, well, thanks again! And you’re right, I’ve been here 10 years! Nothing stellar you know, just spare-time tinkering really, though I do have a commitment to the objective truth Wikipedia aspires to. Pompous huh? But yeah 10 years, sorry about that. And sorry about that other thing, you know, asking for your guidance? Man! That was a mistake!
So, I found an undead zombie page wandering the wastes of Wikipedia, 7 years alone. I said what I was doing and shepherded “MattRiedyDisambiguation” through the speedy deletions, learning as I went, and watched it delivered to your tender care, where with a grateful sigh you laid it to rest. And one minute later woke it up again! Stuck it back on its feet as before!! And stomped off!
THAT was amazing, not my lack of familiarity with facets of Wikipedia I have had no occasion to encounter until now.
But we have your answer! Once again I must proffer my thanks! For you had the noblest of intentions in your seemingly bizarre reversion of common sense, you were teaching me a lesson! - Thank You! (Do you think I learnt what you intended me to learn?) Roll up, roll up while it lasts - Matt Riedy wants your brains! (He's already had RHaworth's.) Ill-mannered prig. Deletion of TEDxSSC
Dear RHaworth, I am writing about TEDxSSC that you recently (today) deleted. At the time when the page has been deleted, there were few pieces of information in the page because the page itself was under construction. The links to the event and TEDx were already present, though. I left a comment in the Talk Section of the page, but it looks like it has been ignored, as the page has been deleted and no answer has been provided to that comment. I would like to use this space to clarify why I believe that a TEDxSSC is actually an important event.
TEDxSSC is a TEDx event. All TEDx events needs to receive a license from TED and are independently organized events. TED (https://www.ted.com/) is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.
Someone could argue that being a TEDx event on its own is already an indication of importance, because it means receiving an explicit approval by TED, after undergoing a formal review process. TEDxSSC has been held for 3 consecutive years, meaning that not only it has obtained the license by TED for its first event, but also that results were so amazing that TED decided to grant the license again, and again. TEDxSSC has featured a number of relevant speakers that are a clear indication of importance. Let me mention here just one speaker per year, by providing a link to their wikipage: Alessandro Vespignani, Daniele Garozzo and Vincenzo Cosentino.
In case you agree that this explanation is enough to answer the question of "no indication of importance" I kindly ask you to restore the page, so that I, or other people, can contribute to make it better. — Luca Naso (talk) 18:35, 11 August 2017 (UTC)

Deletion of Category:Gospel pop hits
Hello, Roger: I am writing to ask you consider restoring the Gospel pop hits category. The rationale for deleting was that the criterion for inclusion was unclear, but that is not true. While #1 hits are more recognizable and are therefore easy to identify, gospel pop hits are also identifiable as a category because, whether it was a big hit or a small hit, each song included has a chart box delineating its history on the secular music charts, whether of the U.S. or some other nation or nations. This criteria is not an unreasonable one. Please either restore the category or at least reopen the topic for further discussion so that I may restate and emphasize this point which may not have been clear to others. - JGabbard (talk) 14:59, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
- JGabbard, note the colon trick for when you want to refer to a category rather than putting a page in that category. Why do you feel you need me to restore an empty page! Recreate with a sensible name, e.g. category:gospel songs which have figured in record charts. Create a proper category page defining what are acceptable charts as per WP:CHARTS. Put it in some parent categories, eg. category:gospel songs. And populate it! — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:56, 13 August 2017 (UTC)

Proposal for deletion
Dear RHaworth,
I've reviewed your concern on this article, which is "insufficient evidence in English of notability". It seems you believe sources MUST be in English to assure notability. When taking a look at the guidelines in WP:NOENG, it is mentioned that "Citations to non-English reliable sources are allowed on the English Wikipedia. However, because this project is in English, English-language sources are preferred over non-English ones when available and of equal quality and relevance." As well as in WP:GNG where it states "Sources do not have to be available online or written in English". And all provided sources are reliable local newspapers. I know English sources are preferred, but that only applies IFF English and non-English sources are of equal weight in term of verifiability. I could have included English sources like Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Powell's book's page, but that would violate the guidelines by promoting a product that is related to the subject.
Since machine translation, google translate for example, can be used for further validation, am I missing anything? Please advise.
Sincerely, --Aaehasa (talk) 22:21, 13 August 2017 (UTC)
- Aaeheasa My current understanding of that information and sources are that they're trivial and offer nothing of what our notability standards actually consider notable; inherited notability cannot be applied either. SwisterTwister talk 00:13, 14 August 2017 (UTC)
- SwisterTwister The concern of RHaworth was "insufficient evidence in English of notability". Since "in English" is included in the concern statement, whether these sources are trivial or not is another case that can be discussed on the article's page. Sincerely, --Aaehasa (talk) 11:07, 14 August 2017 (UTC)

Hi, you deleted this page about an hour ago. Would it be possible to restore it. The background is confusing but the bottom line is that I feared I had confused two churches of the same name. I therefore blanked the page, intending to undo my edit when I had confirmed that they were in fact one church. When I came back to do this, you had already deleted the page, which included a fair bit of data I'd already included. It would be rather a pain to have to start from scratch. Many thanks. But somewhere at the top of every page you will find a "move" link. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:35, 14 August 2017 (UTC)

I see that you have recreated the aforementioned redirect after speedily deleting it per WP:G4 without first placing a request at DRV or a discussion with another editor about the matter, as well as fully protecting it without a valid reason other than that it is "repeatedly un-redirected", I feel that this is inappropriate, the discussion at RfD was closed as delete after you inappropriately speedily deleted it with a G1, which I also don't think wasn't appropriate. Note, this is just a friendly reminder about your actions, I have not yet decided to take it any steps further though I plan to open a DRV if you do not object to the idea. --- CHAMPION (talk) (contributions) (logs) 01:49, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
Deletion of Draft:ExecuSearch Draft
Hi,
I apologize for my last draft as it seems I infringed on wiki's copyright guidelines. This was not intentional and I aim to correct this as soon as possible.
With that said, please let me know if I will be able to create a new draft that falls in line with wiki's guidelines to be submitted for review/approval.
I appreciate your help.
