Restoring a wiki page
Hi, I had created a page with title 359° – Worker, Writer, World-traveller. Unaware that the page gets published and there is not mean to hide or keep it offline, I request to delete it. However I wish to restore that page with the same content. Kindly help me retrieving it. Thanks, Shweta — Preceding unsigned comment added by 17shwet (talk • contribs) 09:12, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
- With the greatest reluctance I have restored it to draft:359° – Worker, Writer, World-traveller. Do not be surprised if it gets deleted as blatant spam. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:45, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
Not deleting a wiki page
Hi RHaworth, I had created a page called In Our Bones Tour and I didn't know that I can draft it and I accidentally clicked save changes and made it public. Can you please give me some time to work on it and not delete it. Thanks, Llamaizfab — Preceding unsigned comment added by Llamaizfab (talk • contribs) 10:44, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
- There has never been an article called In Our Bones Tour. But when you eventually do create it, doing so in draft space via AfC will give you time to work on it. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:45, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
Deletion of the page Moscoman

OnDemandKorea
Hi, I made a Wikipedia page for the streaming company OnDemandKorea. The page was created solely for the purpose of information. So that people knew the site existed and that it was a legitimate website. I modeled it very closely to other Korean streaming company Wikipedia pages so that it wouldn't be considered advertising/promotion. It got marked for speedy deletion, I contested it, never heard back, and then it got deleted. I sent a talk message asking how I could rewrite it to avoid deletion but never heard anything back. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Farbod628 (talk • contribs) 16:42, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

Deletion of Medan vi lever
Hi, I am new at making pages, I have contributed before but still a newbie. Sorry. Yesterday (I live in Sweden) I wrote a page on a new movie that has screened in Sweden, the title is "Medan vi lever" ("While we live"). First I wrote in Swedish and then I got a msg to change to English, which I did. I also got a message to enter sources which I did. Among the links was the Swedish Film Database, a completely non-commercial site with data about movies, actors starring in movies, and filmmakers. I also linked to the film director Dani Kouyatés page. When I published the page it was immediately tagged for "Speedy Deletion". I contested the deletion and had a brief exchange with another admin. But after editing the page I did not get any response. And when I checked in today morning I found that the page got deleted.
I am not part of any promotion team. I have not been payed to write a page on Wikipedia, I just wanted to add information about the film, and that's what I explained to the other admin (John). Did I make formal mistakes or what was the reason for not taking into consideration what I wrote? I am an independent journalist and not part of any organization promoting the film, but the page has now been deleted tagged as "unambiguous advertisement or promotion"? Hmmm. It's true that I linked to a distributor site, where it is also possible to move on to purchase tickets through clicking links, but I could easily have removed that link and only kept the links to reviews and the non-commercial data base. I could also rewrite and add info about the film, which is by the way the first movie produced in Sweden to starr a majority of black actors, making film history through this fact.
- If you are ready to restore the page after changes, please let me know and I will try to comply with the rules I understand exist on Wikipedia and edit the page some more, remove commercially ambiguous links and add some facts.
- If you will not restore the page, then could you please retrieve and send me the text of the page since I did a huge job translating into English and adding links.
Would be most grateful for a response, and consideration for the fact that I live in Sweden, that is: a completely other timezone. Best, Amintou (talk) 08:12, 7 October 2016 (UTC) Edited Amintou (talk) 08:53, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- There is no need to keep fiddling with your message. It will not get you a faster response. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:11, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
Just trying to better my English and cutting out some unnecessary facts, didn't expect to get a speedy answer at all. Thanx. Amintou (talk) 09:15, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
And, yes I have looked at the deletion entry, and the pages "What Wikipedia is not" (the part: Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion), "Criteria for speedy deletion", G11, and also "Talk page guidelines". Keeping an eye now on my Watchlist and on this page. :) — Amintou (talk) 09:23, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- What on earth makes you think we live in completely different time zones? And in any case if you don't expect a speedy response why on earth should it matter what the time zone difference is? Please note that
<br>
is very rarely needed in wiki markup.
- What on earth makes you think we live in completely different time zones? And in any case if you don't expect a speedy response why on earth should it matter what the time zone difference is? Please note that
- I have restored the article to draft:Medan vi lever but do not submit it until: a) you have created an acceptable version of sv:Medan vi lever and it has survived for a month or so, b) the movie has been reviewed by reliable English language sources and c) the draft looks like a Wikipedia article: infobox, lede, etc. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:54, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
Thank You. I will start editing. A question though: The title is in Swedish. I cannot edit the title. Can the title be altered? If not I am considering whether I should edit this page completely in Swedish and create another one for review in English, with an English title. Thank you for input on this. Amintou (talk) 11:12, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
- To change a title you move the page. But please do not move it out of draft space. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:56, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
OK, thanks. Amintou (talk) 08:39, 10 October 2016 (UTC)

Maya
Re: user:talk:RHaworth 20:44, 14 September 2016 (UTC). Having worked with computers since 1965 (i.e. for 51 years), for the last three weeks since your message about ‘reverting’ an edit, I am no closer to understanding what you mean. There is neither record nor page locking on these pages, nor are postings appended to the end. Therefore if I am fortunate, I may be able to post something while no one else does so with the version of page I would have uploaded. If there is some other way of avoiding this problem, it is not evident. My only two communications received have been vague and more focused on nomenclature and protocol than content. If I am unable to pass these barriers and hurdles, I will have to capitulate and abandon trying to post something onto Wikipedia. — Ronsark (talk) 15:14, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- Ronsark, I also have worked with computers for about 51 years - so what? Editing Wikipedia talk pages does not need knowledge of computers - just common sense. Record/page locking is not needed because warnings are usually given of edit conflicts and nothing need be permanently lost - though I will admit that handling an edit conflict can be a bit daunting for a newbie. Postings can be appended - at the top of a talk page there is "new section" tab (may appear as just a + depending on skin and twinkle, etc.).
- To spell out slowly what you did: please look at this "diff" report. I hope you can see that your message deleted a message from Hitcher vs. Candyman. My first reaction was to simply revert your edit as vandalism. But then I relented. The edits by Hitcher and you were 13 minutes apart which does not immediately suggest an edit conflict but I accepted that you could easily have had my talk page open for fifteen minutes while considering your reply so I left this more conciliatory message.
- I invite you again to enter your message properly. Now you have another daunting task: to neither prepend nor append but add your message to this section. Hint: beside the title Maya you should see an

link - click on it. Best of luck! — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:54, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
I am afraid I have neither the time nor interest any longer in wading through processes and procedures instead of working on content on the material I had hoped would be accepted by Wikipedia. I have therefore abandoned trying to progress it since I cannot get out of the starting blocks. Pity as the material is of value to many and Wikipedia would be a useful source for people seeking further information. 197.245.244.153 (talk) 07:56, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
Deletion of Spotware
Dear RHaworth, You have recently delete a page for a company called Spotware, I have already contested the deletion in Talk:Spotware#Contested_deletion, which was also deleted. My reasons for not deleting this page were given in detail and it was later deleted by User:Explicit. I then wrote the page from scratch and spent several hours looking for alternative sources having taken on board the comments given by Wikipedia admins in Talk:Spotware which has also been deleted.
I need you to be clear on what was not acceptable about the version of the page which was deleted by you, since I corrected the issues expressed by the other Admins, with the exception of changing the entire orientation of my organization. It seems you had other issues. The article was entirely factual and simply explained that we are a company and located in Cyprus and have some products with a basic explanation on what they do, only explaining the functionality which could be backed up by sources not used more than once. The main issue originally raised was the validity of the sources provided and the frequency the same sources were used within the article. This was fixed by not using the same source more than once and by finding "more reputable" sources according to one comment these sources were not qualified in their opinion. I had quoted Bloomberg, Bobsguide, Waters Technology and others. I have to be very clear on the nature of our business, we are strictly Business to Business and the sources provided were industry specific trade publications and indeed very niche. They are not high profile sites aimed at the masses, i.e consumers.
Additionally, their was a comment that the Wikipedia moderation team should be very careful with Binary Options and Forex Trading companies, which I totally agree with, however we are not and do not solicit business from users, we are a technology company who require a Wikipedia page to provide a profile of the company which possible employees and business partners expect an industry leader to have.
The last and most infuriating part of all this is our competitors who provide even less credible sources and at best, the same and still have their pages untouched. This is the second time you personally have deleted our page and it begs the question, is this malicious?
For example: MetaTrader 4, Leverate, ZuluTrade, EToro. I need to be very clear that we are not using Wikipedia to promote links or for SEO, these are simply the sources which we have available for our industry. An industry which we strive to make better. I hope you consider giving this a second thought. Long story short, we really need a Wikipedia page for potential employees and business partners to view us as the credible company which we are. Your attention is appreciated. Jim Greene (talk) 15:54, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- What cheek! "We really need a Wikipedia page" as if you had some right to one. Kindly have the decency to wait until someone with no CoI thinks your company is notable and writes about it here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:54, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
Thank you for your feedback, however it seems you have disregarded all of my very valid points and reverted only on a single point which I believe has been taken the wrong way. Please understand this; The page was put up for speedy deletion, this page had existed for over 3 years without issue. I stepped in to contest this since the reasons presented in Talk:Spotware were invalid as did another individual. I restored the page and based changes according to feedback from other moderators in Talk:Spotware. Yes there was a CoI but only on why the page should exist and not within the content itself, take note of the fact that the original content included negative events which occurred in the companies history which only existed there because it was an unbiased article, explaining both good and bad topics. A biased article would try to suppress that information and not promote it on Wikipedia.
I do not believe that Spotware has the right to a page but I also do not believe the company does not have the right either. Since the page has been protected it can not be created by another person. I completely respect your position as an advocate of eliminating CoI in Wikipedia, so I would like you to consider the following, which I think can be reasonably done without conflicting with your integrity nor stance on the matter;
1. Restore the page with simply one sentence to state that company exists, this will act as a place holder for others to discover the page and see content needs to be added, or at the very least removing the protection will be appreciated.
2. Restore Talk:Spotware so anyone who decides to create an article will discover previous reasons why the article was flagged by other moderators and use those guidelines.
Thank you. Jim Greene (talk) 09:20, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
- It is four years since this AfD decision and this DRV so possibly the company is now notable. Feel free to raise the matter again at DRV. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:56, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
Deletion of FloTHERM
I don't understand why you deleted FloTHERM. I know this topic and reading the Thermal management page, I noticed that in the "Software" section 3 tools are mentioned. Only one of them, 6SigmaET, has its own page, but it is the least important, as you can see comparing Google's search trends.
I admit to have written a very short description (it is only a beginning), but in what isn't it neutral? Thank you for your answer and for your contribution to Wikipedia, anyway. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Karlopiz (talk • contribs) 14:50, 10 October 2016 (UTC)

International Beer and Pizza Day
Hello Rhaworth, Some time ago I created a draft for the food holiday known as International Beer and Pizza Day. At that time, the first iteration of the holiday had not come to pass, therefore I was unable to produce enough credible sources. This holiday was just celebrated yesterday, October 9th, and since then I have found that it was a huge hit around the world. To my surprise, several articles were written about it, a large number of bars/restaurants have celebrated with discounts on beer and pizza, and traffic on beerandpizzaday.com has spiked significantly. Many businesses have even created their own banners to celebrate the day. Searching for 'beerandpizzaday' on Twitter will show a lot of people had a good time participating in the new food holiday. Because of all the new development, I would kindly ask that you restore my previous draft and allow me to significantly edit and add to it with new information and credible sources. Below are several source links:
Thank you, NickSaul (talk) 19:12, 10 October 2016 (UTC)
- This page confirms that you invented this holiday so I should say "kindly have the decency to wait until someone with no COI thinks it is notable and writes about it here". However, I will admit that hoax was an invalid deletion reason so I have restored it. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:16, 11 October 2016 (UTC)

Deleted article - Chocolate Phosphate
I was going to create an article chocolate phosphate but was notified that there was one but had been deleted by you. I would like to know the content of that article. Also there is no link to it to fulfil your request to include a link. - Please explain how you managed to find out that I deleted the article without following a link to that article. Then read this. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:45, 11 October 2016 (UTC)
I got the info on the link by typing "Chocolate Phosphate" into the search line and among other things I got this: "A page with this title has previously been moved or deleted. If you are creating a new page with different content, please continue. If you are recreating a page similar to the previously deleted page, or are unsure, please first contact the user(s) who performed the action(s) listed below. 03:53, 11 October 2016 RHaworth (talk | contribs) deleted page Chocolate phosphate (A3: Article has no meaningful, substantive content)".
What I didn't get was a link to the deleted page. As you may remember, the reason was given as "Article has no meaningful, substantive content." I wanted to see what the rejected content was. That is why I sent you the request and did not solicit you for questions as to why I did what I did. And yes, you do sound like a grumpy old man. (I know because I'm also an old man, who made chocolate phosphates as a teenage soda jerk in the early 1950s.) — Mursimon (talk) 02:15, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
- I am going to persist with asking what you did because an understanding of links is vital for your education not only about Wikipedia but about all web pages. When I key
chocolate phosphate
(note that it must have a lower case p on the first of phosphate) I do not see any of the message you quote above. The only relevant thing that I see is 'You may create the page "Chocolate phosphate", but consider …'. You must have done something else to get to the page that says "RHaworth deleted". Please try and remember what that something else was. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:16, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
I see what you are saying as the same thing happens to me now when I type "chocolate phosphate" in the key field. But when I am reading this thread between you & I, clicking on the red link "chocolate phosphate" in my first sentence takes me to a page titled "Creating Chocolate phosphate" where the above message can be seen. It doesn't seem logical to me but that is what happens now. Sorry but I don't remember the exact order of things when I first got to that page. I do remember that when I first decided to create a page for Chocolate Phosphate and tried to save it as an empty page, I was told that the page was empty and did I want to continue to which I replied "yes". Or try clicking on this => chocolate phosphate. — Mursimon (talk) 00:39, 18 October 2016 (UTC)
- Mursimon, excellent: a link, not only in the proper format (newbies often use external link format) but you know that the first character is case-insensitive. You state correctly that you saved an empty page. It was that empty page which I deleted. If you added anything else, there is no record of it. My recommendation is: add whatever you want to say about chocolate phosphate to the phosphate soda article and just create a redirect at chocolate phosphate. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:46, 19 October 2016 (UTC)

Hello RHaworth, I had created a new page for our sequel movie since the first movie already had one. The new page titled "Surge of power: Revenge of the Sequel". When I got the email about copyright, I posted that I am the web designer for our team. I saw that the Todd and Clare wiki page Todd and Clare was "speedy deleted" as it seemed to be an advert for the website. I agree that some aspects of the page (I checked the google cache of it) were less than neutral, but I wonder if you gave the authors a chance to fix the problems before nuking the page. As you may know, T&C Network Solutions is involved in a legal dispute with Julian Assange, and such information should be included on a wikipage about T&C, if such a page were actually visible. — wheatdogg (talk) 06:55, 18 October 2016 (UTC)
Eggyolk2000
This entity "Todd and Claire" is involved in an international news event, an alleged attempt to smear wikileaks founder Julian Assange. I have no problem with you locking the page, but the fact that it's possible the persons who created the "Todd and Clare" page are involved in criminal behavior means having some record of what they posted on wikipedia is essential for independent investigators. Please make it available again. At least allow it to be archived on the Wayback. Whether the page is advertising or not, it has historical value in this case. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eggyolk2000 (talk • contribs) 21:40, 18 October 2016 (UTC)

The page was created on 2016-06-23 17:25:10 by Narniakaty15 (talk · contribs). It is not locked. If the Wayback machine did not grab it during its four months existence, then too bad. Investigation and block this users
Good day RHaworth, I really appreciate your words, writing on your user page. I would like you to investigate this case. Wikipedia is not a place where people comes to promote bands, or collect money writing articles especially ghostwriting. This users Obari2Kay and Oluwa2Chainz are under a conflict of interest. Their are involved in WP:PAID as a freelancer. Oluwa2Chainz has contributed a huge amount of edits on wikipedia and has also created huge amount of Articles on Wikipedia. 80% of articles created by Oluwa2Chainz are been paid to write. According to my user page, this user Obari2Kay stated a statement on my user talk page. Their should be block from editing wikipedia and any Good article which their have writing or created should be protected due to spam. -- Historical Ben (talk) 13:14, 19 October 2016 (UTC)

There are templates waiting in this category: Candidates for speedy deletion as unused redundant templates. Can you please go and check whether there are deletion candidates. Thanks, -- Osplace 14:56, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
- You made the serious mistake of not bracketing your speedy tags with <noinclude></noinclude>. This caused several innocent pages which were transcluding these templates to move into CAT:CSD. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:22, 19 October 2016 (UTC)

Intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring
Hello Roger, Newbie working on first wiki page - just a draft now so no link. Did not see a category:intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring. Trying to create it, shows you deleted it. Deletion of Template:PlayerVB1?
Why did you delete {{PlayerVB1}}? It appears to be used in a number of templates, such as {{RC Cola-Army Troopers roster}} and {{Bureau of Customs Transformers roster}}. See Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:PlayerVB1. Those templates and articles are all broken now. Unless I'm missing something, it should probably be undeleted. – Jonesey95 (talk) 06:27, 22 October 2016 (UTC)
Same question about {{PSL roster footer}}, {{PSL_roster_header}}, {{FIVB_roster_header}}, {{FIVB_player}}, {{FIVB_roster_footer}}, {{SVL_roster_footer}}. I'm not sure what happened here. – Jonesey95 (talk) 06:31, 22 October 2016 (UTC)
Looks like this may be the whole list:
- Template talk:2016 AVC-Foton Tornadoes roster (G8: Talk page of a deleted page)
- Template talk:FIVB roster footer (G8: Talk page of a deleted page)
- Template talk:PSL roster footer (G8: Talk page of a deleted page)
- Template talk:SVL roster footer (G8: Talk page of a deleted page)
- Template:FIVB player (T3: Unused, redundant template)
- Template:FIVB roster footer (T3: Unused, redundant template)
- Template:FIVB roster header (T3: Unused, redundant template)
- Template:Generika Lifesavers roster (T3: Unused, redundant template)
- Template:PlayerVB1 (T3: Unused, redundant template)
- Template:PSL Roster doc (T3: Unused, redundant template)
- Template:PSL roster footer (T3: Unused, redundant template)
- Template:PSL roster header (T3: Unused, redundant template)
- Template:PVTeam (T3: Unused, redundant template)
- Template:SVL roster footer (T3: Unused, redundant template)
- Template:2016 AVC-Foton Tornadoes roster (T3: Unused, redundant template)
- Template:FIVB color (T3: Unused, redundant template)
I do not think that any of these met the criteria for T3. – Jonesey95 (talk) 06:41, 22 October 2016 (UTC)

Archaeology of Malawi
Hi, I'm the instructor for a course about African Archaeology, and one of my students was working on a new page - Archaeology of Malawi. Instead of working in her sandbox, she mistakenly put several references that she needed on the article's talk page (before the mainspace page was created). You've deleted that page, I believe. Is there any way to get that information back? I'm not sure. Thanks so much for your help. Ninafundisha (talk) 00:24, 24 October 2016 (UTC)

I guess I shouldn't be writing up Donald Trump's penis... I just saw the speedy deletion. I personally don't really think it was "strong" enough to qualify for G10; as an attack page it was rather one by proxy, and in that respect I can't disagree with the deletion and I certainly won't challenge it. I do wonder if it will be challenged. If that's the case, I'd appreciate a ping, since I don't keep up with DRV etc. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 19:41, 25 October 2016 (UTC)
- @RHaworth: I don't believe the page was created to be an attack page. If attacking material had been added to the article, I think a better thing for you to have done would have been to revert that and let the AfD continue. It's trending no-consensus at this point, FWIW. — pbp 20:03, 25 October 2016 (UTC)

Minimicroeconomics
I need You help to restore the Minimicroeconomics article, PLEASE! The "Minimicroeconomics" article is not an advertising at all. No money side is intended! It is a new direction in Economics and all people need to know about it and start making use of it and make their lives of a little more comfort and justice. This article is the result of my 35 years long scientific researches in that damned Soviet Union conditions. Now, I am a refugee sheltered by the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands and trying hard to deliver to people of the world of a brand new business called business accuracy business ( I am Ph.D. in Economics since 1981 and can submit the education evaluation from the EREC, California. The language of the article is untraditional because the Microeconomics science came into being in an untraditional way. At that times (and even now!), I was totally isolated from the Economics world and everything is created is created by my own and unique enough terminology. But, if You plunge into the article and add Your sound mind, You will see that everything is meaningful and in place, right and just. Another big misfortune is my language. The English I have is the English I invented by myself of not having money for extended English mastering in nice conditions! I need English proficiency classes. I want to an English University. You, Sir better help me deliver the new approaches and new business accuracy tools to the world than delete it!
The terminology is new. They can be shined up AND people get used to them little by little over the time, I hope. When a new science comes into being, a set of new terms gets coined. I had to coin them as I could in my limited circumstances. One more time, PLEASE edit the article to make more understandable to people! PLEASE let the scientists, educators, investors, all goodwill know of the new science and new tools! You know them much more than I do AND You are able to mobilize people's efforts in turning Minimicroeconomics a normal element in our everyday life. This science deserves it, it has suffered so much! It got deported from many countries. It has survived communism and now is so close to be in people's use. Deletion of Goldfinger mechanism draft
May I ask why the page draft:Goldfinger (mechanism)? Would I still be allowed to create this article? Sorry if I did something wrong it was my first attempt at making an article and I was under the impression that as long as I made it as a draft it was OK to leave it blank temporarily. — EvilxFish (talk) 11:24, 29 October 2016 (UTC)

CybrHome was deleted
CybrHome is one of the rising product company in India, the product is also popular in few European countries and US. It is the most notable tech product from the Indian college NITK Surathkal after Practo Health. It helps people explore the internet/websites just like Pinterest helps people explore images. No such quality portal ever existed and this product is like a complete redesigned version of now defunct yahoo directory. To be noted the product has no ads. It is also one of the few govt funded private organization in India (a reason of no announced VC funding yet if you deleted because valuation was not mentioned). I am an avid CybrHome user and crowd-sourcing contributor on their platform (also Wikipedia) and hence I had created that page. The page was very well written with references and as far as I remember it was written from a neutral point of view after several days of research. There was no promotional content and also it was constantly being edited by various editors for improvements. However, you've recently deleted the page completely without any notice or discussion. I completely understand its possible startups/websites may not be your area of specialization and you may mistakenly consider pages of new companies/products on Wikipedia as spam or promotion. So, I request you to please read that page and restore it. I will add more citations if needed and keep adding more press released as and when I read it in future. If you want changes let me know and I can edit it before restoring but I believe people should really know about CybrHome and the product's page should be on Wikipedia. Thanks in advance. Re: Draft:European Scientific Cooperative on Phytotherapy deleted as G11. I was working on someone else's draft -- Draft:European Scientific Cooperative on Phytotherapy -- and didn't finish writing extra references for it when you deleted it. Oops. It was G11 and G12 initially -- I removed copyvios from it and rewrote text to not read in promotional biased way. So when I left it alone for the day, it was under-referenced, but not G11 in my view. I was hoping a new nick in the edit history and a 'Contested deletion' on talk page were enough to assist you with seeing what's happening. Oh well. Please check the last revision and restore it if you think the draft qualifies for further work on it. -- Gryllida (talk) 23:13, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
