The article Wagner Santos Lago has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sir Sputnik (talk) 01:59, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
Alliance of Valiant Arms
Why did you recreate this article? Please read the logs of pages before doing things like that. The article was sitting here User:Crossmr/Alliance of Valiant Arms and could have been moved back, instead you have recreated it, and now it cannot be moved back because an article exists there now, which means we also cannot copy the content from that article.--Crossmr (talk) 12:45, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
- Yours version is a deleted version. There is no rule that "when a article is re-created", the deleted version should or should not restore as history. And some of the content were copy directly from the preview, may cause copyright issue. Feels free to edit the current version. Matthew_hk tc 16:20, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
- It was deleted because someone thought it wasn't notable and I wasn't around at the time to save it. It wasn't deleted because there was any problem with the article. I don't see anything in there that is a copyright violation.--Crossmr (talk) 23:31, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
- You did not understand the AFD. It is deleted because lack of third party source. If you think it is mistakenly deleted, why don't you go to WP:Deletion Review? User page can't became Wiki article. Matthew_hk tc 13:08, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
- Articles in user space are frequently moved to article space. I had it userfied at the time because I didn't have time to deal with deletion review but had forgotten that it had been userfied until you recreated the article. You've created a version with basically no information, not even a user box compared to the last one. You didn't even create the talk page and add the appropriate project banners.--Crossmr (talk) 00:09, 19 June 2011 (UTC)

Re: Andrea D'Amico
Those references have been there a very long time....to be exact, when I first created the Andrea D'Amico page. I have not used websites as references since I was corrected on that a long time ago, and not by you. Thanks, I'll go and fix it myself rather then just place some box at the top of the page and leave the reference section blank. Juve10 (talk) 14:00, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
All I meant is that, those references have been there a long time, and I actually just fixed them now. I put those there before I was full established on Wikipedia. I apologize for the issue, but the problem was not recent and it is fixed now. And as for the shirt number, I did have an unlisted source where I read that he obtained the number 28 shirt, but I have since, fixed it as well. Juve10 (talk) 14:07, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
Okay, I have not been issued any sort of warning in a very long time. At first (3 years ago), I was not fully familiar with the criteria for Wikipedia, but since then I am. You do not need to warn me any long, and the only reason I responded in such a way, wasnt because you are wrong, but rather because you tend to target everything I do. I am on Wikipedia for the best interest of the website and for soccer fans. Again I apologize that we had this issue in the first place, but I do fix errors. Thanks Juve10 (talk) 14:16, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
Any other history of mine relating to hoaxes is long previous. I apologize for the inconvenience on both of our parts. Juve10 (talk) 14:17, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
Its not that I need a welcome to Wikipedia again, I really am very familiar with all of the websites intentions. Any warnings or history that I had are of a long time ago, and since then I have established myself well here on Wikipedia. I was offended by the interpretation of the message you sent me, do to past disagreements. None of this was in bad intention and thank you for your realization and understanding upon the subject. Thank You Juve10 (talk) 14:24, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

Hello MATTHEW, VASCO here,
maybe you could help at this article please (not me, help WIKIPEDIA). From what i read in REF#15 (in Portuguese), it was NAVAL that sold him to the Turkish team, not GENOA. So how could he go to GENOA other than on loan too?
Something is not making sense here, please make the pertinent corrections/adjustments in the article. Attentively - --VascoAmaral (talk) 09:49, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
- The Turkish source said he was borrowed from Geona, seems it is a complicated deal as Genoa failed to register with Genoa officially (non-EU problem) and they let the player left for Turkey, which the Turkish paid the Portuguese in Genoa previously agreed terms. Squad Timor Leste national football under 23 team
Here's a names of squad that play at friendly match with Indonesia national under-23 football team a link can found here (It's in Indonesian).[1]
Note: Flags indicate national team as defined under FIFA eligibility rules. Players may hold more than one non-FIFA nationality.

There are at 23 players will participated at 2011 SEA Games. I know this because i was at their training camp at Bali, Indonesia. here's other names of players that i know, Jack Sarmento, Leroy Guerreiro, Jose Vong, Fidel Santos, Juliao Monteiro and Coelho Adelino (these players have facebook account). Emerson Cesario, Raul Isac, Antonio Marcos Sousa (Marcos Sousa), Nazario do Carmo, Jesse Pinto and Alan Lendro Da Silva ( Alan Leandro) have facebook account. You can send them message about clubs that they play, place of birth and and their statistic.
Can these name be posted at the page of their national team??
- If is a newspaper of some kind of web media, it may pass the reliable source criteria. However i don't know the wiki policy if i know them in person. (Or It may require the players himself send a email to confirm he is the player and the information to pass verifiability) May be you go to admin notice board or helper community to ask Matthew_hk tc 12:25, 28 October 2011 (UTC)

you deleted my page to make another one almost the same without the appearances. just one question: why?--Maurinu (talk) 05:08, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
- First of all, read carefully the two version, secondly i will apply for history merge, which effectively made the page moved from wrong namespace Wellington Teixeira to Wellington Teixeira dos Montes. Lastly, state league appearance did not counted in infobox. Matthew_hk tc 05:17, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
List of Italian football transfers summer 2010
I've again removed all transfers from youth teams to youth teams from List of Italian football transfers summer 2010, an edit I did before but which you reverted later. As the lead of the article describes: "Only moves from Serie A and Serie B are listed". These youth teams don't play in either of those, so shouldn't be included. The list is already very long as it is, it has to end somewhere, and sticking with the definition of the lead would be a good first step (even though the list ahs transfers both "from" and "to" Serie A and B teams, not only "from".) Fram (talk) 13:55, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
- Dude, the original rule was set up by me and the old Italian task force. If set-up a new rule, please form a new discussion. Yet it sometimes it is useless for player who never became professional, but sometimes the "youth" deal was so importance, likes Bovo was sold by Roma for €1.5 million, but Roma received nothing but Comi and Milano. So at least leave the co-ownership deal, and those turned professional at a latter time. Matthew_hk tc 14:00, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
- I don't set upi a new rule, I'm applying logic and WP:UNDUE rules, which match the rule set out in the lead of the articles, but not the actual content of the articles. You don't WP:OWN these articles. Note that none of the ones I removed already had an article, so presumably none of them "turned professional at a later time" yet. Fram (talk) 14:05, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
- And the original rule was just include deals involved Serie A and B clubs, no difference with the first team or youth team. The aim, was include the most notable transfer AND limit the size of the main list. (I was suggested some deals involved Lega Pro and foreign club was notable but it just leads argument ) I, almost the sole creator of the list in recent year, found the list already too long and split them in July and August list.
- And, not most of the youth transfer was added, such as most of the youth transfer with ref were added. For Simone Benedetti, a youth transfer or already a first team ready investment? For a U-15 player, that's is ok to remove them, but some the club willing to pay ten thousand for a youth player, which already a notable transfer despite the player was not notable. On notable sense, Bovo was exchanged with Comi and Milano, which it notable as one of the club operation. And for Andrea Mei and Luca Tremolada exchanged with Andrea Lussardi and Matteo Colombi, both side the players were tagged for a total of €1.5 million, which, another notable club operation but involving non-notable player.
- If there is a list of transfer in summer 2005, i will certainly add Mattia Destro to the list. It is no sense to include all youth transfer, but revise the old list to include the arrival date of players who recently turn professional is ok.
- So, forming a new rule covering youth transfer, should be those with notable transfer figure (e.g. exceed ten thousand or fifty thousand), or player later turned to professional, is that ok? Those youth transfer with ref only, i will put it in my sandbox. Matthew_hk tc 14:25, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
- Perhaps only including youth transfers that have received independent coverage (not just on the club websites or on the village newspaper ("local youth signed by AS Roma" type coverage), but in e.g. the "Gazzetto della Sport" ("AS Roma picks 17-year old talent before the nose of Juve and Torino"). I agree that youth transfers can be notable, but most aren't. Fram (talk) 14:42, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
- It is more complex. Using Bovo case, there is many coverage on Bovo and only routine coverage on Comi and Milano (just their name and position were mentioned), but as a whole it is a crazy deal, sold a U21 internationals for nothing (or people may guess is that Comi and Milano was too good for that amount?). And for Lorenzo Paramatti, there is many news coverage, as well as Lorenzo Tassi who already made his debut at young age. Matthew_hk tc 14:48, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
- Basically, if you restrict it to youth deals which have something less commin (the coverage, the amount), as evidenced by the refs you provide, then I would have less of a problem with it than with how it was undiscriminatory, with e.g. 8 transfers from youths to Parma in a row. Current version looks a lot better. Fram (talk) 14:55, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
