You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on an article you wrote requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies.

Matar Coly

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Matar Coly, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Matar Coly. 99.240.196.9 (talk) 17:32, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

The LFP doesn't ban unique reserve team names

The LFP has no jurisdiction on reserve club names. Its primary function is the running of the two professional leagues: the Primera and Segunda Divisiones. Real Madrid Castilla, Elche-Ilicitano, Valencia-Mestalla, and Sevilla Atlético are reserve clubs that are officially recognized by the Rfef which must approve the reserve team names. Please show me the article that says that LFP bans reserve team names Raul17 (talk) 06:48, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Track users activity (related to bad behaviour)

I have found something ignominious while looking into Defensor Sporting's article. Some insults were placed in the nickname. I would like to track the user who made this changes and punish him under the sanctions that would take place under the current situation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.64.209.115 (talkcontribs)

Hi, what made you prefer Mancini (Brazilian footballer) over Mancini (footballer)? It's highly unlikely someone looking for Roberto Mancini would search for Mancini (footballer) so it seems that would be sufficient. Yonatan talk 20:58, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi, just wondering why you haven't responded... Yonatan talk 03:45, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Mancini (footballer) may refer to Roberto, his son, and Brazilian. just like Vieri, is redirect to Christian Vieri, because we cannot assume people know his full name, and he may be the most famous one, at present. This is the view point of populaity.
But in the case Roberto and Brazilian, they were equally notable. It could be Mancini (footballer) redirect to Brazilian one, and add footnote on top to say there is another Italian legend and now coach, as we should not assume they knew he is Roberto and search Roberto Mancini directly, but seems too complex.
Samuel Johnson is another complex case for dab words, but i did not know what happen recdently. Matthew_hk tc 08:44, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Hello Matthew. Please do not archive talk page content that is too recent. Archiving the Taiwan section which was added just one day ago prevents the continuing of the discussion. Talk page content is to be archived only when a week or so has past after the respective section was started, and only if no new recent comments have been added to that section. Thank you.
