Apologies for the tone
Hi, I saw your response to my comment at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Martin Herbster and I wanted to apologize for my tone, I think I was misinterpreted as I didn't intend any disrespect or implication. Thank you for your work here and thank you for nominating the article, as if not for the nomination I would not have thought to add the new sections to it. --Habst (talk) 15:13, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
- No one misinterpreted you and I saw you did well but such statements are not always talked about except in high cases like bad faith nominations and WP:UPE. You are among the editors I respect and so, will tey to chip. Nominating challenges articles and so, you have done. Thanks too for your apology (such a wonderful editors we need) and happy regards. Habst, In such cases, don't forget to reach me out on my talk page, eg that I may withdraw or look at. We learn from each other. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 15:17, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

Thank you for that :) — The Herald (Benison) (talk) 03:23, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
The redirect Democratic Labor Party (historical) has been listed at redirects for discussion to determine whether its use and function meets the redirect guidelines. Anyone, including you, is welcome to comment on this redirect at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2024 April 10 § Democratic Labor Party (historical) until a consensus is reached. TarnishedPathtalk 10:30, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
Your closes of move discussions
If you're going to continue to close move discussions you should request the page mover right so that discussions like the current RfD discussion regarding Democratic Labor Party (historical) don't need to occur in future. TarnishedPathtalk 12:03, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for that. Needs more time! Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 12:13, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- If you need more time to request the right, perhaps you shouldn't be closing move discussions? TarnishedPathtalk 12:16, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- Its my choice @TarnishedPath. I have many other backlogs to clear and like I said, I will soon request may be after few weeks! Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 12:18, 10 April 2024 (UTC)

- @TarnishedPath The redirect was retargeted by Pppery here. It's not s big deal since if you ask me, that "historical" should target the "DAB". Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 13:15, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- SafariScribe, having the mover right does matter and as an editor who has only been active for a few months, you should take the concerns of an editor who has been around since 2007 more seriously. You are too new and inexperienced to be worried about backlogs to clear. I have seen many inexperienced editors get overly eager about taking on administrative tasks and get in over their head. If you find a lot of editors upset with mistakes you have made, please take them seriously because if you also dismiss them, the next step is being brought to ANI which, believe me, is very unpleasant. Editors who come to your talk page to point out potential problems are trying to help you stay out of trouble, not coming here to criticize you. I sincerely hope you take their advice and don't ignore it. Liz Read! Talk! 05:46, 11 April 2024 (UTC)
- I took to heart what @TarnishedPath told me. @Liz Thanks for your concern, I will try to fix my errors and avoid it in the future. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 06:39, 11 April 2024 (UTC)
- @TarnishedPath: For the same reason that you nominated the redirect at RfD rather than via speedy deletion, a pagemover would not have suppressed this redirect. WP:PMRC follows CSD in what redirects are suppressed. SilverLocust 💬 09:12, 11 April 2024 (UTC)

Hello SafariScribe,
Not to get on your case again on this, but just as an additional thing to note... we are not so hard up for discussion closers that we want people who've never !voted in RMs at all to close the discussions. If you want to participate in the RM process, great, but you should probably !vote yourself some first, so that you get a sense of what kind of arguments people make, which ones are accepted, which arguments are generally ignored, etc. People won't be shy about telling you if there's issues with your !votes, or alternatively agreeing with them. Only after you've participated in RMs normally for awhile does it make sense to start closing RMs as a non-admin (and don't forget that a relist itself is a "close" of sorts, it's a close that says there's insufficient consensus for a close). Otherwise you might miss "unwritten rules" or past precedent that tells you when, say, a sparesly attended discussion with only a single vote is very reliable-but-boring and should move, or is some LOCALCONSENSUS by motivated editors and needs to be relisted. Again, I mean this in an affirmative fashion - please do participate at WP:RM! Just as a !voter. SnowFire (talk) 17:19, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
- SnowFire, thanks so much. I have made that agreement within. I do participate but not actively as closing. It's awkward and should be balanced. I appreciate that too and will be there to !vote when necessary. Regards! — Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 17:24, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined
Your request for speedy deletion of Draft:هوش مصنوعی در سلامت روان has been declined. Neither reason given (not written in English and already exists) is a valid speedy deletion criterion for a draft. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 18:11, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- @WikiDan61 Thanks for that but here, you are expected to wait for an admin. The draft is purely a translation of Artificial intelligence in mental health, an AI related content which I inputed in my reason for the CSD. I don't know what next until your reply. I was thinking of redirect but the article was partly copied! Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 18:18, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- Anyone can decline a speedy deletion request; no need to wait for an admin. If the draft is unsuitable for publication, then it won't be published, but it should not be subject to speedy deletion. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 18:20, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry for that. I know anyone can decline a CSD request. This is a copied article in another language still on English Wikipedia. However, I have no argument here since it can't be subjected to AFD. The draft will still go declined after submission or left forever. Since you're a reviewer, what's the best option/alternative? Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 18:25, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- Just leave it. Drafts aren't visible to search engines. On a related note, I have removed your CSD from Draft:EDWIN THEE FLYEST. It's not blatant spam, at least give people a chance to try and make an article. Funnyfarmofdoom (talk to me) 18:30, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- @Funnyfarmofdoom The draft you rmv the CSD tag seems promotional especially when it looks like an autobio (same name as the creator). Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 18:33, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- I noticed. While we discourage autobiographies, it's not technically prohibited. Generally we want to take a more relaxed standpoint in the draft space (again because they aren't listed in search engines). Immediately tagging drafts is a good way to scare away newcomers. Funnyfarmofdoom (talk to me) 18:41, 10 April 2024 (UTC)

Citation template
You may not understand how to use the citation templates. You see an article listed as
Ula Y. Taylor, "Read[ing] Men and Nations: Women in the Black Radical Tradition," Souls: A Critical Journal of Black Politics, Culture and Society, vol.1, no.4 (Fall, 1999), 72-80.
and you create the citation template
- {{cite journal|last=Ula|first=Y. Taylor|title=Read[ing] Men and Nations: Women in the Black Radical Tradition|journal=Souls: A Critical Journal of Black Politics, Culture and Society|volume=1|issue=4|date=1999|pages=72-80|author-mask=2}}
Clearly, this author's last name is "Taylor" and first name is "Ula Y." (first name, middle initial). You've reversed these parameters in all of the citations. You've used an author-mask, so it doesn't display improperly, but these templates create Wikidata that will be incorrect. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 18:43, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you @WikiDan61 for that impressive observation. I was trying to first clear faults of the article before it gets declined probably. All I was doing was to help drafts since they are being vaguely written this days. Welp, I appreciate. For now, I think I will be retiring and be driving in to finishing some stuffs I started! "Mike Hall" move request
Hello. Thank you for helping with requested moves. However, the move request at Talk:Mike Hall (bassist) should not have been closed yet. Less than four days had passed since the start of the discussion, and seven days is the basic standard for these discussions (see WP:RMEC). Since a clear consensus had not yet been established, please reverse your close and relist the move request so that a full seven days of discussion is possible. If necessary, you can list this at WP:RMTR in order to complete the move back to the original title. Best, Dekimasuよ! 06:18, 11 April 2024 (UTC)
- I'm starting to see a bit of a pattern here. @SafariScribe, if you get too many more of these messages someone with less patience will start a thread at WP:AN/I suggesting a topic ban. TarnishedPathtalk 06:33, 11 April 2024 (UTC)

Good article review issues
Hi SafariScribe! I noticed this discussion and that you have opened a review of an article I nominated at Talk:Apocalypse Clown/GA1.
It looks like you have made a great effort to learn the rules of Wikipedia, but I second the concerns that your fluency in the English language is not strong enough to assess the "well-written" criterion for good articles (which many native speakers struggle with). It is good to see somebody being bold, but when somebody raises a concern you need to take it seriously rather than ignoring it.
Thebiguglyalien has tried to be polite in asking you about this at Special:Permalink/1217820230#Good article reviews, but since you have not identified your issues with formal writing, this is what the first three sentences of your reply would look like with some grammatical issues fixed:
Welp, I had in mind that I would finish reviewing the articles by tomorrow or the day after. I don't see how this is bad when there are plenty of reviews still not yet complete at their second or third week. While I appreciate your effort, you are reminding me of what I am already doing.
I would like to request that you add {{db-g7}} to Talk:Apocalypse Clown/GA1, the nomination of mine that you have opened but not started to review.
I would advise that you try to improve existing articles directly and then engage in feedback processes that will help you see how to write in formal English, such as requesting copyedits. Thanks! — Bilorv (talk) 00:05, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
- Bilorv, Thanks for the advice. I have no problem with that. — Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 00:12, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
Page Ben Lloyd (footballer)
Hello SafariScribe! I was just writing about the page Ben Lloyd (footballer) that I accidentally turned public instead of creating a draft (I haven't edited properly in about a year, my mistake). I was wondering if you could delete that page or turn it into a draft for me to edit somehow, as I am unsure how to do that. Thanks in advance my friend. FFCETT77 (talk) 12:34, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
- FFCETT77, Hi dearest editor. I have turned it to draft with the notification on your talk page. Do source the article well per our guidelines and submit for review via AFC. In any case, you can move it back yourself if and only if it will survive AFD; you can alert me to review it for you when ready! Regards — Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 12:40, 12 April 2024 (UTC)

Hi, you write "The consensus was that "any one searching for the motet already knew it was from Hassler." This seems far from established: will you reopen the discussion please?
A Truckload of Thanks
Hello my fellow country person. I am very thankful for your selfless edits on the article, Chima Korieh. My passion is to try to bring Nigerian notables with many JSTOR and other reliable academic or corporate links (but less national newspaper links, because of their self-effacing nature) into Wikipedia. This was the wikiproject on my mind which we discussed about in @Vanderwaalforces's wall. I hope to work more with you in getting respectable national figures (past or living) into Wikipedia. I just re-submitted the draft article, Patrick Ejikeme Nwosu" to AFC for review. Regards. Royalrumblebee (talk) 08:08, 13 April 2024 (UTC)

Roberto R. Treviño moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Roberto R. Treviño. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and Just having a notable book does not establish notability, it is not inherited. Please revise then resubmit.. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Ldm1954 (talk) 23:29, 19 April 2024 (UTC)

Comment at Draft:Lilja Rúriksdóttir
In this edit, you left the comment:
That the husband has a Wikipedia page doesn't mean she will have if she is notable. It's sometimes called WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS.
I would point out that WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS is a policy that comes up in deletion discussions noting that the presence of other bad articles on Wikipedia is not an argument for retaining the article in question. I believe the policy you meant to link to is WP:NOTINHERITED which explains that a person is not notable solely for being related to someone else who is notable. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:54, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
- WikiDan61, I got ya. I was trying to link NOTINHERITED, but tried to fix it in with possible outcome of the deletion discussion if it becomes AFD. That should be an error. Regards. It really seems you've "continued advising". — Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 14:02, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
New page reviewer granted
Hi SafariScribe, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed. If you asked for this at requests for permissions, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.
This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:
- Add Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers to your watchlist to follow NPP-related discussions
- If you use Twinkle, configure it to log your CSDs and PRODs
- If you can read any languages other than English, add yourself to the list of reviewers with language proficiencies
You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! Hey man im josh (talk) 16:43, 23 April 2024 (UTC)

Rollback granted
Hi SafariScribe. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [Rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision - that's all. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the rights will be revoked.
- Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Malinaccier (talk) 15:48, 24 April 2024 (UTC)

RE: Your recent GAN review on The Skeptical Enviormentalist
Hey! I saw your recent GAN review at Talk:The Skeptical Environmentalist/GA1. You did a good job, but I just wanted to let you know that you didn't fully complete the source review (or at least did not indicate you did so)—GAN review instructions specify that reviewers have to look through a sample set of the sources themselves (if accessible) and make sure that they reflect what they are used to cite within the article. This is a fairly recent addition to GA review requirements (I think it was added last year) so it's totally no fault on your part if you weren't aware of it. Just wanted to make sure you were aware of this for the future! Generalissima (talk) (it/she) 19:10, 24 April 2024 (UTC)

Question from Badfighter+29 (12:43, 26 April 2024)
Hello! I hope you're well.
I'm not sure how this works, please confirm: are you a real person or a chatbot? I have a question: how do I add notes to a Wikipedia article? There are a few articles I want to add the note of 'the neutrality of this article is disputed.' What is the procedure for that?
Thank you and best wishes, Badfighter-29 --Badfighter-29 (talk) 13:43, 26 April 2024 (CCC+)
- Badfighter-29, Hi and welcome to Wikipedia. Firstly, editors are humans (volunteers) who read and edit this online Encyclopedia. If you see a page not written with neutrality, you should probably edit them and remove contents that seems to promote them.

, but then moved that page anyway, which doesn't make sense. I don't think anyone, myself included, wanted a WP:MISPLACED situation. * Pppery * it has begun... 19:57, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
- Pppery, you should ignore the closure message at this time because I thought @DeloarAkram, and the other editor supported not to dab to Azizul Haque. There is no problem there, I saw you reverted the dab you made earlier; it's also good you came first to clarify. I will place that to dab since a line cited in the article said,
"Aziz ul Haq (24 January 1939 – 28 May 1972), also called Dr. Azizul Haque or Aziz-ul Haque, was a Marxist–Leninist communist activist from Pakistan and one of the notable literary icons of Pak Tea House"
. Thanks and I appreciate! — Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 21:30, 27 April 2024 (UTC)- So, the consensus of that discussion is that Aziz ul Haq should redirect to the dab instead right? If that's the case you should clarify it at the discussion itself and implement it. * Pppery * it has begun... 21:32, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
- Pppery, I am about doing that. Just chill! — Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 21:33, 27 April 2024 (UTC)

Gerald F. Seib moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Gerald F. Seib. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has too many problems of language or grammar and the bulk of this article is a copyright violation or close paraphrasing of the sources. Considerable issues with grammar make several of the passages inscrutable. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. gobonobo + c 14:56, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- Gobonobo, this is a little issue you can fix and request revdel instead of userfying the article which meets WP:JOURNALIST and WP:GNG. You needs to see that through if it is simple as this. — Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 15:02, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- It is a good practice to check all AfC drafts for copyright violations before approving them. This article was almost entirely composed of word-for-word copies of passages from the sources. While the subject is notable, we shouldn't be accepting drafts that need to be completely rewritten. Also, there are serious problems with the grammar here, making many of the statements impenetrable. I also have concerns that the "arrests"/reactions section give undue weight, given this was all from one incident in 1987. gobonobo + c 15:14, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- Gobonobo, I disagree with you. There are much to journalism than the arrest. Also, it might interest you to know according to the sources, the arrest was because of the articles journalistic works and possible not giving undue weight to the arrest and reactions. They are however, parts of being notable. This time, I believe it exceeds that WP:BIO1E. — Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 15:19, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- Gobonobo, also I am not logged with my gadget because I'm on the bus and couldn't access earwig via this phone. However, WP:COMMONSENSE there was that the lines were correctly cited to sources that says exactly. So I'm not to be blamed here. I'll clean up and request revdel once I get home but also "calm down"—being that fast can get others annoyed especially when one reverts a good faith clean up. That's all I have for now. Bye! — Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 15:25, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- I'm sorry if I annoyed you. Per WP:AFCR, copyright violations are one of the quick-fail criteria, so this draft shouldn't have been accepted. I draftified the article at the same time that you made some changes, so my sincerest apologies if any of your changes were not saved. I am also having difficulty parsing your responses here as your fluency in English is not very strong and I worry that it could affect your ability to competently evaluate AfC submissions. gobonobo + c 16:09, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- Gobonobo, I know you don't have the time in the world, but at least you could have helped cleaned it and save reviewing further. There is no problem, Regards! — Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 16:13, 28 April 2024 (UTC)

Hi, I'm concerned you accepted this AfC draft given the complete lack of secondary sources. The AfC process is designed to prevent this type of article being published. WP:AFC says "Articles should reflect only what reliable sources have said about the topic, and all articles need references to reliable sources." AusLondonder (talk) 15:33, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- AusLondonder, thanks for getting me by. Based on the fact the article likewise it's kinds will take place next month, it could have been good leaving it unreviewed till then. However, it got nominated and I will advise it goes back to draft and marked as promise. That's what I should have done instead. What was I thinking though? — Safari ScribeEdits!
