Hello, I am SilverLocust. The main subject area that I am interested in editing is U.S. law, but I usually do other stuff.
Some of the things I tend to do here include helping with Wikipedia:Requested moves and technical move requests, answering some edit requests for template-protected pages, improving some templates, and doing miscellaneous behind-the-scenes or administrative stuff.
I tend to think that a second opinion or third opinion is more useful than a tenth opinion. That is, further comments in heavily attended discussions have diminishing marginal utility. When closing a discussion, I usually let the discussion speak for itself rather than restating the arguments. (If it doesn't speak for itself, it may not be ripe for closing.) However, I am willing to explain the reasons for a closure if asked.
I use this username only on Wikimedia sites plus the Discord and IRC. It doesn't particularly refer to anything. I have one alternative account used on occasion mainly for testing or editing from a public computer: SilverLocust+.
