In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Madison

The article is very nice-looking. Keep the subpage, though. Even if somehow Talia Madison or Jamie Szantyr get unsalted, I'd say it stands a good chance of being deleted yet again as the crux of past deletions was not the state of the article, but notability (which I don't understand).

The only things I noticed were small issues with ring names. Wagner Brown should be Slyk Wagner Brown, and Kia Stevens is known in TNA as Awesome Kong. Other than that, fine work. Do you know where to go to request unprotection of Talia Madison or Jamie Szantyr (and which would you use? The tendency seems to be for ring names, but it's not universal)? It looks like there's potential for asserting notability. Giving references for the "Championships and accomplishments section" would help. The references that are currently in the article would benefit from a "citeweb" template (I use title|work|url|accessdate). A copyedit would also give the article a better chance. For example, the first sentence in the "Career" section has no subject. The second sentence uses the pronoun "they," although there is no indication of why "they" are. Hope this helps. No, actually I didn't recruit anybody. He made some edits to my article he wanted to before commenting on a deletion review. It was his choice, I just showed him the ropes. Chris Mordetsky and Harry Smith (known as Chris Masters and D.H. Smith, respectively) were suspended from World Wrestling Entertainment as of November 2 2007 for Wellness Policy violations. Mordetsky was released from his contract six says later.

Welcome to the inaugural edition of the WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter! I hope this will be a good source of news to those people interested in what's happening around our pro wrestlimg community. I plan to release it every Sunday.

This newsletter will just be a way to get the community announcements to people who don't have the time to check the mesageboards, as well that to those just curious about the news. The newsleter will consist of a project news section (to do with what's happening on Wikipedia), and a current events section (relating to news in the "real world"). The newslette will also contain the Collaboration of the Week announcement.

That's all. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please post them at this talk page.

WWE released the video game WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 on November 13 2007. The game is available for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PSP, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and Wii consoles.
John Cena takes heat from CNN after an interview involving mentions of steroids.
Christopher Irvine (known as Chris Jericho) returned to WWE after a two year hiatus, debuting on the November 19 2007 edition of RAW following months of speculation.
Matt Hardy suffered from an inflamed appendix, rendering him unable to wrestle at Survivor Series and possibly for 8-10 weeks.

Thank you to those who responded. The only complaint we received was about typos, and we will try our best to keep the newsletter error-free.

The WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter is starting up an interview segment that has been in the works for some time now. The current schedule for interviews can be seen here. If you would like to submit a question for an interviewee, please do so by following the instructions here. We are accepting questions for any future interviews. If you would like to sign up to be interviewed, then you may do so here. We hope that this segment will be one of the most popular this project's newsletter has to offer, and promote a greater sense of community amongst the project members. The first interview will be published in next week's issue, and will be with TJ Spyke.

A professional wrestling portal has been established, and WikiProject Professional wrestling is expected to maintain it. Please help in its construction and keeping it up to date in the long run.
Mickie James has been elevated to Good article status.
Don Kent (wrestler) failed its Good article nomination.
AJPW Triple Crown Championship and Royal Rumble are currently Featured list candidates. Their respective nomination pages can be found here and here.
Briscoe Brothers, King of the Ring (1994) and WrestleMania III are currently Good article candidates.
No Way Out (2004), SummerSlam (2007), and In Your House 1 have each been listed for peer review. Please review these articles and make suggestions for their improvement. Their respective peer reviews can be found here, here, and here.

Current Events

On the December 17 edition of Raw, it was announced that former WWE superstar John "Bradshaw" Layfield has decided to return to the ring on the Raw brand. It is unknown if he will continue to color commentate on SmackDown!.
Former WWE and TNA wrestler Andrew "Test" Martin has announced his plans to retire from professional wrestling.

The focus on improving Stub-class articles is continuing to pay off, as the number of stubs has reduced from 732 to 717 over the past week. To see a list of important stubs that need some work, or to suggest a stub that you think should be improved, check out stub article subpage.

Current Events

As of January 2, SmackDown! Superstar Drew McIntyre has been drafted to the Raw brand.

As of January 4, Raw Assistant General Manager, Jonathan Coachman has been drafted to the Smackdown! brand to replace JBL as color commentator.

On January 12, World Wrestling Entertainment, in conjunction with Bakus International, will begin airing WWE Programming on Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão (SBT) in Brazil.

World Wrestling Entertainment will begin broadcasting their programming in high-definition.
Several wrestling news sites report that former Total Nonstop Action Wrestling stars Ron Killings and Chris Harris have been in talks with WWE. In addition The Big Show is said to be returning as well. Be on the look out for unsourced claims of these signing being added to their respective articles as well as the WWE Roster article.
As of January 7, deturning Smackdown! Diva, Ashley Massaro has been drafted to the Raw brand.
