Hey why did you immediately put those tags, it is a stub now? The AFD is about its clones (because of its popularity and restricted membership, it has many 'clone-sozluk's, where it is easier to be a member), currently the votes are like keep eksisozluk delete others or keep all. - I restored that text I found on Answers.com. But it does not list the references (it has some numbers indicating that there were some references). I added the article to Wikiproject Turkey. Hopefully someone will be able to find more references (many stuff can be found on their websites, I guess). For now, I won't be focusing on this article, but, let me assure you that it is quite popular in Turkey. DenizTC 13:46, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
I think it will be fine once we find sources, since the delete votes (there were only two, so it wasn't well advertised I guess) were about the lack of sources. The second delete vote even mentions that it can be rewritten. I guess I will need to prioritize this. I think I should first find more sources before doing any deletion review, and I might ask for your help for the review, as I haven't done anything like that before, though I don't think it is a big deal. hi good person,
you had written to me asking not to use copyrighted text from websites etc. what i did was copy and paste text from my own website about myself to wikipedia so people know what i do in relation to documentaries and such. i guess i've read somewhere that we are not supposed to write about ourselves, but i doubt anyone else would bother, and i don't have any assistants to pretend to be writing about me in my absence. so anyhow - i'm going to try this once more and i hope you don't mind. we are launching a new feature documentary so i just wanted to toss my basic info out there.
i thank you so much and wish you a wonderful day,

Although I appreciate your work, I feel CarFreaks, with its activities and members, including Singapore's only professional racer, has enough public interest to be in Wikipedia.

Hello,
I was just trying to explain a value from the Computers security field, as an exercise for one of the courses in the university. I didnt try to create any problems or advertise a bad material on wikipedia. I can not understand what excatly is wrong with the value I added, if there is something like that.
I tried to follow the wikipedia criterias, and as for example I followed the same template as in the buffer overflow value, which related to the value I added. I think that this value was needed to be add to the encyclopedia, so please consider it again.

Why You nominated this article to speedy deletion ? There are articles about even smaller or less important wikis on Wikipedia and they are not being deleted. Currently WikiPasy has 3.600 articles only in Polish version and it is largest polish sports encyclopedia. We also have english language version and working on italian and spanish versions. Deletion
Hello! Who are you? Did you delete my article about "Los soneros del barrio" or did someone else do that? I don't understand a thing (although I've tried to follow references and Wiki advice, but several times they led to nothing). It's really weird if that article was deleted based on notability since they are one of the most well-known salsa bands in the world. I don't get it... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Cmlewan (talk • contribs) 01:45, 6 May 2007 (UTC).
- Replied on this user's talk page - 09:18, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply. Is it correct Wikipedia procedure to reply here? Anyway, I start to understand why so many internationally well-known salsa bands are not in en.Wikipedia, eg. Anthony Cruz, Angel Canales, Jimmy Bosch, La Sonora Carruseles, Mamborama, Manolito y su Trabuco, Maraca, New Swing Sextet, Pedro Jesus, Polo Montanez, Puerto Rican Power, Susie Hansen, Wayne Gorbea and Yuri Buenaventura - household names for those who listen and dance to the music. When people write about them, the articles unfortunately get tagged for "speedy deletion", I suppose. I am from Sweden and I know the NY band "Los soneros del barrio" because it's frequently played at the salsa dance places here. Like many other famous bands that are not in en.Wikipedia. I see eg. on a French webpage that "Los soneros del barrio" is called the "famous salsa band" ("le fameux groupe"). It was just a coincidence that I started to write about them of all the international salsa bands. This is only a comment. I will talk to this 'Phaedriel'. But I'm worried about the [de-]selection criteria in Wikipedia. Cmlewan 18:35, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Kwai Nyu Rugby Club
According to the entry, you recommended that the article entitled "Kwai Nyu Rugby" be deleted. I hope you will reconsider. This entry has been on Wikipedia for over a year now, and has been heavily used. Do look up the team on Google, Answers.com, etc. The team is especially significant as a landmark in the history of Missouri rugby, and its tournament has deep historical roots as well. The team itself has a fascinating history, and its web site is extremely helpful for teaching rugby. As the article in Wikipedia has been up for a year now, some users have grown rather dependent on it. I would deeply appreciate your reconsidering this recommendation.

deletion request for my "Shiva Moon" contrib. as "non notable festival"
The festival attracts around 10,000 people so I can't understand your objection on the grounds it is "non notable".
Now the page has been deleted. I tried to upload some of the festival pictures to prove it, however they have disappeared into wiki-nirvana... as a new user I'm somewhat confused as to your lack of further comment or discussion.
The Shiva Moon Festival is quoted on links in a fairly comprehensive English page about Hamburg and without this page this link lacks further information I would have thought sensible in the wiki. Regards, Alan --Kernel-goa 16:14, 6 May 2007 (UTC)--

Article tagged for deletion
Hi,
I got a message saying that an article i created on Palau Pacific Resorts was tagged for deletion.
I've edited it further to make it more factual and promotional.
Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts is a client and require the information about their properties on wikipedia be updated. They have sent an email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org stating that it is not a copyright violation if the user panpacifichr (me) were to take content from their pages to update the articles about their properties.
The intention is NOT to promote the properties, just ensure there is adequate and accurate information about the properties mentioned.
Please advise.

Miss canada international edit
I edited the page because it was obviously edited prevously with mis-information and allegations from a very small group of people with a vendetta who are on a personal smear campaign against the organization who does good works for charity, does not abuse delegates, starve them, etc as claimed. Miss Canada International has never been sued, Leeann Baird was not detrhoned (follow the link to her page and it discusses 'after her reign') she was simply not allowed to crown her successor. Rather improper COI
I find it rather improper that Smee gets to create pages which imply intentional wrong doing, suggest guilt, and then he shows serious COI by editing a request to clear me of those allegations.
He demonstrated COI, when he deleted and reworded my 3O requests by pretending to fix the entry [here] and then issued a ruling in his edit summary [here] and attemped to force my 3O question off the board [here] but was ruled against [here] and [here]
Please notice that he also reverts with COI involved in other places showing up, out of the blue and revering me twice [here] and [here]
And then again [[1]], for which he was reverted [here] and was reminded that it was improper [here]
He refused to make a promise not to revert my article tags based on virtually the same criteria issued in the 3O [here]
Also when an editor stopped by to see if I need help [here], Smee showed up on my talk page to disrupt the conversation with spurious comments [here and [here]
His comments were deleted as disruptive yet he came back again [here] to add yet another disruption. And when that was unsuccessful, he posted [here] on his userpage in an attempt to make his disruption look innocent:
"Most interesting. I share with a user how fun it can be to edit constructively by either creating new articles or searching for reputable secondary sourced citations, and my comments are deemed "disruptive". Oh well... " Smee 12:58, 4 May 2007 (UTC).
Here, too, he showed up and in the middle of my editing [here] and [here] he decided to edit the same line [[2]] and [here].
Rather than fight, I left that article alone and please note that he stopped editing that article as soon as I left. This has happened in other articles as well. I don't know the definition of stalking or harassment on wiki, but it does seem to be getting close to some form of it.
I would like the harassment to stop, without my having to leave wikipedia. To do that, in part, I'd like to establish that I am not a sock and have his frivolous and prejudicial categories and pages removed.

- -
I did note that he'd show up here. He can't help it. He simply must post in every conversation I'm in, just to show his presence, just to show me that he's watching me, just to show me that I can't edit anywhere on wiki that he won't find me. Even if its a seemingly harmless comment. He can't resist posting.. just to let me know.. Its sad, actually. Lsi john 16:37, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
As for him being reasonable and working things out.. I'm open. Would you be so kind as to get him to sit down and agree to stop harassing me. We'll need to spell it out exactly, as he has repeatedly refused to make specific and binding commitments in the past for such things as [agreeing] to not improperly revert my article tags. Complaint
You just tried to delete my page "The Eagle and the Hawk" about 5 minutes after I created it and while I was still typing it. Why don't you try to have a small amount of respect for others? If you had bothered to wait until I typed more than the first 2 lines of the article you may have been in a position to appreciate any interest it contained and whether it complied with the Wikipedia guidelines. As it is, your dictatorial style has put me off trying to continue with this - which was my first article on Wiki. If Wiki is like this, then there are plenty of other things to do with my time. Deletion of Gin Bucket article
I would like to object to the deletion of the article entitled "Gin Bucket", because it is not simply something "made up in school one day". It is a local but popular and well-established drinking game that has existed for many years. An article on it should be considered just as legitimate as any of the other articles on various drinking games.
While I understand that Wikipedia should be for notable subjects only, I urge you to compare the Gin Bucket article to others linked to in the Drinking Game article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Abeckon (talk • contribs) 21:53, 11 May 2007 (UTC).

No this isn't a personal page.
It was specifically spelled out in the entry that the project takes advantage of social netorking feratures to promote the development of Linux on the Newton.
The entry existed for 5 minutes. How could you make such an erroneous judgment for this wiki page?
You certainly couldn't have read all of the documentation on the site or even taken the time to read any of it in 5 minutes.
If you have, please post your resulting port of Linux to the Newton.
Otherwise, leave this entry as it is, so others may expand it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by UNIXcoffee928 (talk • contribs) 18:17, 12 May 2007 (UTC).

What is your problem?
Don't shift the blame. I have put considerable effort into making the ALON Project happen, where people have been putting it off for 9 years.
You think that its amusing to delete a page while it's being created, perhaps?
I don't like wasting my time.
You will reinstate the page and you will talk to the deleting admin, and YOU will tell the person that you made a mistake.
When you are done, I would like an apology, and an entry in the talk page stating the validity of the page. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by UNIXcoffee928 (talk • contribs) 18:33, 12 May 2007 (UTC).

In regard to the Southern Exposure article, an assertion is made that he has permission to use the copyrighted material. I think this fellow just needs some help and guidance. For god's sake, no one even gave him a welcome before they started piling on the warnings and threats of being blocked. Let's give the guy some time to figure things out. Thanks. ---Charles 22:48, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for the correction. I would like to know how can I add another entry, in the form of an article, to this disambiguation page. I'm in the process of reading wikipedia's instructions, so I might get it by myself. If not, can you help?
Thanks again

The Company article
Thanks again. The Company is a registered institution in The Netherlands. I am part of it, and so maybe I'll postpone the creation of the article. However, I felt that due to the number of already existing articles, there should be at least one reference to our institution. Hoping that you understand that this is not in breach with Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines - the reference would be one sentence long and completely neutral - until another time

Hi,
Earlier today, I posted an Article titled Charter Partners USA, Inc. We are not advertising our company, but describing the concept of Cooperative Entrepreneurship. Should I change the title? re: prod patrol
Hey Lucas! First off - congratulations :) Secondly - for prods I use the text that appears in the template, the first line of text that appears in coded form? It reads Expired [[WP:PROD|prod]], concern was: insert concern
. Secondly, for speedies, I use a really useful script coded by ^demon. Just put this in your monobook:
// CSD AutoReason document.write('<script type="text/javascript" src="' + 'http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:^demon/csd.js' + '&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript&dontcountme=s"></script>');
Hope that helps! :) Take care, – Riana ⁂ 10:26, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- Just a further comment - I imagine ^demon's script could be tweaked a little in order to provide deletion summaries for prodded articles as well, except that they don't always fall into clear-cut categories. But I guess common concerns - notability, transwiki, userpage of inactive user - could be included into it. – Riana ⁂ 10:36, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- Apart from the HTML problem, it's good! I used it here. Pretty neat. Also might be worth adding a link to WP:PROD, once you've got it going with wiki syntax :) – Riana ⁂ 11:47, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- Woohoo! Great job, works perfectly :) You might want to drop a note on AN, I'm sure a lot of admins will love you (even more) for this! :) – Riana ⁂ 14:55, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

Ok, Can that be replaced with something else. Something that raises an alarm, but not very straight. Something really diplomatic???? It is a real serious issue. I've removed the line for the while. I am really thankful to you. If the Indian Law changes tomorrow it will be a real thanks to Wikipedia.
Also, this is a real unseen thing I brought out in public. Something that really did not get anyones attention so far. I will try to file a Public Interest Litigation if time permits. This could help removing the dirty caste system from India in actual sense. At least if the text is seen, some wise fellow will take an action over the same. I really did not understand why this hurt sentiments of some people, we all are trying GOOD isn't it. My article was only trying to point out a mistake committed.

Could you restore this article [3]? I feel that while it was somewhat short in immature, perhaps stubish, that this device satisfies WP:CORP and is notable enough to warrant the article. Drug Education Forum
Hi,
The Drug Education Forum's page has been tagged for speedy deletion, but as a newbie here I don't understand why. The original note said:
This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location.
The Forum is not a web page or internet forum it is a umbrella organisation for national organisations in England.
The organisation has a website, but tell me one that doesn't?
DarkSabersays that you deleated it because it appeared to be a copyright infringement, but again I'm not sure what brought you to that conclusion.
All the best,

Aloha Lucas, you recently mesaged me about my vandalism to the hapa page. I read the the hapa page and noticed there were many errors on the page and I edited those errors rewriting much of the misinformation. However, the page reverted back to its previous form (the one with errors). I re-edited the page again and again, each time with the page reverting to its previous form. I deleted the page with intention of rewriting it entirely, however I did not get to it. I apologize for the apparent vandalism I have caused, although I wonder why my constructive editing was never saved, and yet my accidental deletion of the hapa page stayed intact. Is there any reason for this?

Deletion of "The Adored"
You deleted the page The Adored Deletion log for said is "Non-notable band" It seems that the idiotic, non-democratic, hierarchical, web 1.0, non-social media way of running wikipedia dictates that someone can only be notable if they have sufficient g-hits, they have 1,430,000. I have looked through AfD and it appears no complaint was made, plus i cannot find out exactly how it was deleted (PROD or Speedy) and so cannot find just reason. So I'm wondering why the article was deleted...

Notability of bands include one critera
7. Has become the most prominent representative of a notable style or of the local scene of a city; note that the subject must still meet all ordinary Wikipedia standards, including verifiability.
According to wikipedia's 'chosen' source allmusic.com states thus "were mainstays on the hardcore scene in northern California"
Also, if i want to suggest that the way wikipedia operates is completly quote "retarded" where would I go?
