I was wondering if you could get me the text from the deleted pages http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Masters_%28Group%29 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master_Plan. I made them as a joke to my friend a while back and we were talking about them and wondering what I had written. Thanks.-SaigonTheDon Talk 04:34, 2 December 2008

Hi, about a month ago I had asked about how to get the licensing cleared on this image. You mentioned that you can monitor the permissions emailbox, so if I could ask you to keep an eye out over the next couple of days (if you have time of course) for an email relating to the image? I believe the email will be coming from the address "Nycth at aol dot com" but whatever the address the subject header should include the filename. If you don't have time please don't worry about it. Thanks either way! Otto4711 (talk) 01:31, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- There's nothing yet, I'll check again in a few days. -- lucasbfr talk 07:50, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- I checked again, still no luck. -- lucasbfr talk 14:41, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Unblock my account please
Could you please unblock my account User:sv23. I understand that I vandalized and received repeated warnings. However, it has been almost a month and I want my account back. I will edit responsibly on Wikipedia henceforth and will not ask for any additional chances. My user page has been protected also. I request you to unprotect the page as well. Again, I agree that my edits were unconstructive and I simply ask for another chance.
- Hi, just to say I have seen your message. I'll think over it and try to reply later today. -- lucasbfr talk 09:33, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
- Hello again, sorry for the late reply. In all honesty if that was your first block I would have unblocked you without much thoughts. I see however that you were already unblocked once and promised to behave yourself. We misplaced our trust once and I'm not a big fan of third chances. I suggest you create a new account and start again from scratch with a clean record. -- lucasbfr talk 14:37, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Unblock please
Hi, my IP address 62.30.249.131 has been blocked by you due to vandalism. Additionally, when trying to make a new login(I am currently changing emails and nicknames), i am told i cant because "6 accounts have been made by this IP in the last 24 hrs". I haven't used my IP for the last 24hrs, no one has!!!
Please could you unblock this???

- Hi, we are aware of this issue. Unfortunately, due to an internal bug we had to disable editing from a part of the UK. We are working very hard in order to resolve this issue. -- lucasbfr talk 21:43, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

- Sorry, I don't know which event you are referring to. I see that your edits today were undone (by someone else) because they did not comply with our policies, most importantly verifiability and neutral point of view. -- lucasbfr talk 07:46, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
62.30.249.131
are you aware you've blocked the majority of Virgin Media customers in the UK? several million people? that this block has had to be undone several times today alone? how about blocking 82.148.97.69 next time, genius! Jw2034 (talk) 00:24, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
- If you had bothered to check the block log, the IP's talk page and the block message, "genius", you would have seen that I was not the original blocking admin on neither IP and that this block was in accordance with the administrator noticeboard discussion at that time. So yes, I am aware of the consequences of my actions, and contrary to you I did my homework. But I guess it takes less brain power to rant on someone's talk page than to actually consider the bigger picture, right? -- lucasbfr talk 07:41, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
with regards to the block log, you may not have been the original blocker, but you repeatedly continued to block after others had realised that there was a problem and the block removed. and I quote:
20:36, 6 December 2008 Lucasbfr (Talk | contribs) changed block settings for 62.30.249.131 (Talk) with an expiry time of 8 December (anon. only)
- 17:15, 5 December 2008 Lucasbfr (Talk | contribs) blocked 62.30.249.131 (Talk) (anon. only) with an expiry time of 24 hours
- 17:14, 5 December 2008 Lucasbfr (Talk | contribs) unblocked "62.30.249.131 (Talk)" (to use a more specific message)
please be a little more selective next time, rather than blocking several million people (which is a very big picture you've missed, repeatedly!). i'd advise you again that you should perhaps concentrate your wise efforts on the vandal menace of 82.148.97.69? Jw2034 (talk) 22:54, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
- The 8 December block is not my decision alone. We need to think of the
childrenencyclopedia. There a point where we can't ask volunteers to monitor all the changes made by that IP, checkusers to check autoblocks every 5 minutes and readers to sit through the massive vandalism. I suggest you visit the Administrator's noticeboard where this has been discussed. -- lucasbfr talk 08:53, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
Do not do me like that
get a life bro editing the edits of other people do your research find a picture of the guy and you will see!!! You are a meanie and inconsiderate you should check your attitude Due you hug your mother with the arms that you use to hurt peoples internet dreams. It is unfortunate how you flaunt that previous vandalism on your page. It is embarrassing not only to the man who wrote but to you as well, it reflects poorly on your character. What is the smell? Oh it is just the lingering odor of your blatant disregard for others feelings. Low blow dude, could have even been hard enough for a gelatinous ball. JK man keep up the good work. It takes a special someone to edit an edit you must feel one step above those who try to make a difference in the world. Get of your high horse and get the stick out of your dung hole and just chillax. But seriously JK good work i admire it, seriously. Wikipedia is a useful tool and upkeep is important especially with all the crazys out there. Wikipedia has been an invaluable tool in my life for the betterment of my general knowledge; your contributions are well noted and appreciated thanks for the hard and dedicated work. Please keep it up. Please reply on this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.4.140.156 (talk • contribs)
- Thank you for your time. While I am sorry you feel I am mean and inconsiderate, please remember that Wikipedia is an Encyclopedia not the Make a Wish Foundation nor any kind of weird Internet Role-Playing game. Edits must stand on their own merits and can be undone or deleted either by editorial process or because they do not adhere to our policies. -- lucasbfr talk 08:08, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Smooth return read the whole thing i like you man u aight. by the way how do you become an administrator and i do not think you are mean an inconsiderate. Do you get paid or is it a volunteer sort of thing?

Thank you for creating that descriptive template. I did leave a message regarding the account creation request tool but your template is quite helpful in the heat of this situation. Thanks again.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 17:17, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
- Np :) I hope this gets fixed soon :S. I tweaked it a bit to redirect users to the unblock mailing list but I fear it's gonna get overwhelmed. -- lucasbfr talk 17:18, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah its a pretty ugly pickle right now >.<...I still think appending a link to requesting an account wouldn't hurt though. The unblock list is primarily for an unblocking after all. (Off topic: How'd you manage to conjure up that nice little preview message you wizard of wikicoding?!)¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 17:25, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Also, the ACC does not work for IP addresses currently blocked on Wikipedia. Users should be directed to email accounts-enwiki-l@lists.wikimedia.org to request an account. 4I7.4I7 17:11, 5 December 2008 (UTC) ¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 17:34, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Virgin media message!
Apologies if this should go on This noticeboard but it apears your in charge of the ukBlock message. As the easiest work around is to connect to Wikipedia over ssh, i think it would be a good idea to mention this in the template. thank you--77.99.150.12 (talk) 03:17, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yup you should probably ask on the noticeboard (I just wrote the original message :)). I fear however that this is not a very good idea to circumvent your ISP's countermeasures, since they might just decide to block the secure server too :( -- lucasbfr talk 19:19, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
You blocked me.
I appear to have been blocked by you. I don't quite understand why, I have always abided by the rules, and I don't hinder Wikipedia's progress. Please could you either unblock me or tell my why I have been blocked? Thankyou. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.241.185.16 (talk) 19:27, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- If you were able to post this message, that means you're not blocked. I unfortunately can't find any block on your current IP. Can you please be more specific (when did the block start/end, the block reason, etc...)? -- lucasbfr talk 19:49, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
Bloomsfield, Kidsunited and so on and so forth.
Hi, why did you do this? RfCU regarding Kidsunited belongs there, as it is another Bloomsfield sock puppet farm. For example, I found this particular Request (Kidsunited) quite accidentally, and it is useful to know. --Miacek (talk) 20:47, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

I don't really mind the infobox being removed for the moment. I just dont want all mention of Alexandra's cover to be removed. This song has been released as a download and will be released to shops very very soon. It is also 100% certain to be the Christmas number one in the UK. Furthermore, Alexandra has a huge fanbase already and cannot be dismissed as a 15 minute reality TV wonder. Look at Shayne Ward and Leona Lewis. At the end of the day, The X Factor isnt Big Brother! :-) - Cheers! JS (chat) 14:27, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

DYK discussion
Lucasbfr, thanks for your comments at the DYK discussion. I agree with you that in other cases an ANI threat would be over the top, but please understand that this editor has been disrupting DYK for several days, threatening numerous editors, and has attacked me numerous times—calling me a liar, etc.—for doing nothing more than upholding the DYK standard. In any other case you would be correct in saying that the section title Ottava created did not constitute an attack, but in this case it's really just the straw that broke the camel's back. —Politizer talk/contribs 16:40, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Why have you blocked me!
You have blocked me from making edits unless I log in, Why? there will be NO vandalism registered to this IP address simply because I have not vandalized pages. you have a habit of blocking people for no reason and I would like an answer please! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alex-hay-8uk (talk • contribs) 19:42, 14 December 2008 (UTC) --Alex (talk) 20:26, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

- Too late :s Range block is not feasible without blocking a lot of legitimate users... -- lucasbfr talk 01:02, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
I know there is a way where you can force an IP to have to register an account in order for them to edit. Wouldn't that be the best solution. I am getting tired of having to rollback all their edits when I see them. Or at least can all the pages they POVize be semi protected Thegreyanomaly (talk) 01:25, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
