- Likewise buddy. Trust me, you'll be me to the draw soon enough. I gotta sleep sometime. (probably tonight, as I'm about to head out to the North Carolina State Fair and walk around all day)--SKATER T a l k 18:42, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
Skater, please see the guidelines in WP:COLOR--for the life of me, I can't read what it says in yellow in your signature. I tested using this tool, and in most options it's completely illegible. Drmies (talk) 18:18, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
- Better? I'm redoing my signature here soon anyways. Idk what I was thinking using the chiller font in the first place.--SKATER Speak. 18:21, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, that's much better, thanks. But, for legibility, the Chiller font isn't the problem, it's the Impact font, because the lines are so thick. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 18:25, 23 October 2013 (UTC)

Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
We are currently running a study on the effects of adding additional information to SuggestBot's suggestions. Participation in the study is voluntary. Should you wish to not participate in the study, or have questions or concerns, you can find contact information on the SuggestBot study page.
IMPORTANT CHANGES: We have modified the selection of articles SuggestBot suggests and altered the design to incorporate more information about the articles, as described in this explanation.
Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information.
Changes to SuggestBot's suggestions
We have changed the number of suggested articles and which categories they are selected from. The number of stubs has been greatly reduced, the number of articles needing sources doubled, and two new categories added (orphans and unencyclopaedic articles). We have also modified the layout of the suggestions and added sortable columns with various types of information about each article. The first two columns are:
- Views/Day
- Daily average number of views an article's had over the past 14 days.
- Quality
- Predicted article quality on a 1- to 3-star scale. Placing your cursor over the stars should give you a pop-up describing the article's quality (Low/Medium/High), current assessment class, and predicted assessment class.
The method we use to predict article quality also allows us to assess whether an article might need specific types of work in order to improve its quality. The work needed might not correspond to cleanup tags added to the article, since our method is not based on those. We have added five columns reflecting this work assessment, where a red X indicates improvement is needed. Placing your cursor over an X should give you a pop-up with a short description of the work needed. The five columns seek to answer the following five questions:
- Content
- Is more content needed?
- Headings
- Does this article have an appropriate section structure?
- Images
- Is the number of illustrative images about right?
- Links
- Does this article link to enough other Wikipedia articles?
- Sources
- For its length, is there an appropriate number of citations to sources in this article?
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. We appreciate that you have signed up to receive suggestions regularly, your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping!

Your signature
Dear Church: I was adding comments over at the RfA talk page, and I noticed something that you might want to change about your signature. I have the Syntax highlighter turned on in my preferences (it makes ref tags pink, URLs, blue, quotations grey, etc. - very handy). However, on a talk page, everything after your signature is pink. I think it's the triple apostrophe bolding around the word "Talk", which I believe doesn't do anything anyway, because the whole thing is already bolded. Would you consider removing the extra apostrophes? —Anne Delong (talk) 20:53, 27 October 2014 (UTC)
- Done How's that?--Church Talk 20:56, 27 October 2014 (UTC)

Hi Church. You patrolled this article I created. Before I'd finished another editor added lots of labels/tags. I think I've dealt with the issues and have asked the other editor to remove the labels/tags but no response. Could you have a look and remove labels/tags if you think appropriate? Hi again Church. I've tried to do the nomination, but I'm not sure I've done it correctly. Is it something you could check out as I think the deadline for it being new is today! The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Khyri Thornton. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

DYK for David Bakhtiari
On 6 November 2014, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article David Bakhtiari, which you recently created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Green Bay Packers offensive lineman David Bakhtiari was the first rookie in Packers history to start every game at left tackle in a season since the start of the 16-game season? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/David Bakhtiari. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

RfA
Hi Church. WP:RFA2011 might sound a long time ago for some users, but for others it seems like only yesterday. In fact 99% of it is still as accurate as it was then. It was a huge research into RfA and nobody is likely to start such another monumental project any time soon. Worth taking an hour to read through it all. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 23:29, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
- Do you know of any editors uninvolved in that effort, that share your high opinion of it, Kudpung? --Demiurge1000 (talk) 00:23, 12 November 2014 (UTC)
- Demiurge, a lot of work went into that project by people who can use scripts and regex - stuff I can't do. Don't belittle it until you have invested as much energy in a single project or gotten yourself noticed for something other than simply criticising other editors. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 15:04, 12 November 2014 (UTC)
- I'll definitely start reading in to it. I'm having a bit of a busy week so I've been a little slow on editing. If you want Kudpung I'll let you know my thoughts on it when I finish.--Church Talk 19:18, 12 November 2014 (UTC)

- Thanks for your reply, Kudpung, even though it doesn't really answer my question. I consider building the encyclopedia - that's the parts in the mainspace - to be a project of particular importance to me. Notability, which mainly consists of "being noticed" in the right places, is a topic of great interest to many, though I must say I'm not disappointed that there isn't currently a Wikipedia article about me. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 20:35, 12 November 2014 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy tagging of Twenty two pilots
Hi. You speedy tagged Twenty two pilots in this edit with the reason "made up". That article has 12 references and plenty more at google. Could you please explain? I must be missing something obvious. Best, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 21:17, 22 July 2016 (UTC)

- Yes, my brain simply didn't see the number difference at first, maybe because there are so many bands with such names. As for the creator, I blocked him, at first for his username, but then for sockpuppetry. Best, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 21:32, 22 July 2016 (UTC)

@Church: I want to help the article Haha Clinton-Dix and promote it to good article status but not promote it though I want to nominate it for good article. I don't think it's ready yet but I want to help with it. About McCarthy people criticize him on Facebook. Do you know who Eric R Ram is on Facebook. He has Brett Favre as his background and he doesn't like him. Have you like the page PackersNews on Facebook? Back to HHCD hope you reply about him first before you reply about MM. --ThunderFan109 (Thunder Up!) 00:07, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
- Haha Clinton-Dix is going to be tough to get to DYK, it's going to need a substantial expansion which I suppose would be possible. I haven't looked at the sources enough to really see, I'll add that to my to-do list. Your good first bet would be to request a Peer Review and then go from there. You may be interested in joining The Packers Wikiproject as well we have some great editors in the project. I haven't heard of Eric, nor the Packers pages.
