Needs references (preferably inline citations), article needs expansion, lead needs expansion (see WP:LEAD), and some fair use acceptable pics (free ones are ideal of course). Also has some formatting issues see History of the New York Giants for an example of a good article on the subject. Quadzilla99 02:53, 21 April 2007 (UTC) |

Various paragraphs in the section titled "Move to Los Angles" need references. Additionally, the timeline seems to be out of order. The final point should be the move from San Diego rather than Hall of Champions, which along with the Hall of Fame section could use some expansion. BCM163 (talk) 04:32, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:AFCW-Uniform-SD.PNG
[edit]File:AFCW-Uniform-SD.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a non-free use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

RfC regarding article titles of relocated professional sports teams in North America
[edit]An RfC relating to relocated teams' article titles using "History of" has been opened and may be of interest to editors of this article. The RfC will add language to the WP:GUIDELINE and will affect this article's title and multiple others. Please join the discussion at the above link. Cheerleader section needed
[edit]First there was the Chargettes in the 70s and 80s. They were disbanded because of a playboy "scandal." Then there was the Charger Girls. They were disbanded in 2021 due to "financial reasons." There's plenty of RS about them. They even have their own wiki page, and yet the word cheer doesn't appear on this page at all. Kire1975 (talk) 04:34, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
