I nominated this as csd because it is simply a collection of links to other pages on wikipedia. although they may all be different, they can all be found at any of the one pages they link to.DUBJAY04 01:08, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm still adding new information. I'll have at least a valid stub up in a second. --MrCalifornia 01:08, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've added the schedule and coaching staff. --MrCalifornia 01:24, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Clausen

[edit]

Is there any evidence that he will be given the #7 jersey? Side Question: will the current recruiting class be added immediately after signing day? Fuhreeus 18:01, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Clausen, Gray and Allen have all been assigned numbers because they are early enrollees. Unitl there is an official roster this is all speculation. --MrCalifornia 20:00, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Notre Dame helmet.gif

[edit]

Image:Notre Dame helmet.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:38, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Roster

[edit]

I changed the formatting of the roster section. I based it off of this template which is based on others. I can make it a template, but it seems that it would only be used on this page and shouldn't be necessary. Anyway, the roster is preliminary and needs some help. I don't think I got all of the redshirts, the freshmen coming in have no numbers yet, and although I got everyone from the 2 sources I listed, there may be people missing. From the roster that was on here previously, I took off 2 names:

   * 81 Darrin Bragg (WR)
   * 17 Dan Gorski (QB)

as I can't find any current information on them and I think they've left the team. Anyone can feel free to make it a template if they want or ask me to and I can. Hopefully when starters are announced they can be bolded and people will be able to update it. Phydend 03:33, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Just to give you a heads up from people that will eventually complain about this. Technically, Notre Dame does not redshirt players and many people are sensitive about this. The official university policy is to give players 4 years of eligibility and allow them to "apply" for a fifth year. The term "redshirt" is intentionally left out. In essence, the fifth year is the same thing but like I said, people will complain. It may be best to just leave out the redshirts.Fuhreeus 11:08, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I wasn't thinking, I knew that. It's an easy fix and I'll get it done. Phydend 14:24, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Cool. I figured that it was an innocent mistake since you're a domer yourself. Some people get their panties in a bunch over this stuff. Once you get this done, I'm happy to help apply it to previous seasons.Fuhreeus 14:29, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, a friendly tip from the person who made the template you adapted from: once the official ND Media Guide comes out, use it to compare against what you've been able to find so far. --Bobak 15:53, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I've been working on the old teams (2005 and 2006) and used the Media Guide to check those rosters. I'm not sure when it comes out this year, but was definitely going to do that. Thanks. Phydend 16:15, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Michigan game notes

[edit]

Chad Henne is not a fifth-year senior as this article notes, but rather a fourth-year senior. This needs to be fixed, but is there a better way to put it semantically? Jkbug 06:23, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed all mention of his year - its irrelevant here. --ZimZalaBim talk 14:43, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Policy Discussion on use of logos

[edit]

There is a policy discussion that could affect this article. Please see this discussion about whether policy should forbid team logos to be placed on articles pertaining to individual seasons. You are invited to contribute to the discussion, if you wish. Best, Johntex\talk 15:15, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I rated this articles as a start class, because it still has a lot of work to do. It needs a roster and needs some updating on the games. It's better than a stub though. I also rated this as a Mid importance, because i think quite a bit of people will want to find information on this topic. Hatmatbbat10 (talk) 18:12, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
