Jamari Lattimore
[edit]- ... that Green Bay Packers linebacker Jamari Lattimore (pictured) broke the school record for sacks in a game with four?

- The article is new enough, long enough and was nominated in time. The article is neutral and the hook is cited. Though I'm concerned that the text phrasing in the article might be too close to own of it sources. Compare for example "Registered his first career interception against Louisiana and returned it 20 yards for a touchdown" with "He made his first career interception against Louisiana and returned it 20 yards for a touchdown." This is just one example, I would appreciate if you read through the article once (without looking at the sources) and rewrote it a little using your own words. I also have to say that I don't understand the hook (though I only watch American football when it is Superbowl), does the hook refer to this sentance: "tied the school record for most sacks in a game with three and added five sacks and a force fumble"? - I'll review it sometime tomorrow and answer your questions then when I have some sleep to go on.--SKATER T a l k 04:10, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
- @Mentoz86: I reworded it as you requested, it's slightly hard with stats to really reword them though. The hook comes from the sentence: "During another game against Louisiana, he broke the team-record for sacks in the game that he tied the previous year with four."--SKATER T a l k 22:23, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
- You've improved it to the better, but there are still some left, including the sentance I've mentioned above. Mentoz86 (talk) 14:36, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
- @Mentoz86: I've reworded it a bit more, personally I don't see anything that is really too close to the sources but maybe I'm wrong.--Church Talk 02:01, 12 November 2013 (UTC)
- It looks good, but I've requested a second opinion from User:Nikkimaria before I give it a green tick. I'd welcome any other editors that are familiar with close paraphrasing to give a second opinion. Mentoz86 (talk) 10:34, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
- A couple more paraphrasings to fix, like "made his first career interception in a game against Louisiana and returned it for a 20-yard touchdown" versus "registered his first career interception against Louisiana and returned it 20 yards for a touchdown". - Just noting that I've added a link to Quarterback sack to the hook, because I don't think it's a widely known term outside America. DoctorKubla (talk) 16:27, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
- The nominator (Skater, since renamed to Church) was pinged over a week ago with a courtesy reminder, but has not edited since the above post from November 12. It's been over two and a half weeks without any action; closing nomination. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:58, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
