UK Bans
[edit]Just thought I'd add Aside from Electric solider Every episode has been shown in the UK(various Dub edits not counting) and continued to be shown in reruns —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.164.9.218 (talk) 15:52, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
The episodes not made part of the season packs containing the American dub are not made available to international distributors
[edit]This should be obvious enough from the wording itself, not to mention far more logical than the notion that every distributor in the world, other than those that don't redub the American dub, screened these episodes and individually chose not to air them. The episodes were not "banned worldwide", they were dropped from distribution by the sub-distributors themselves. So tell me, how does one source this? Shouldn't Pokemon.com's statement that "these are the episodes that make up each season" be enough to point out that these weren't part of the officially distributed season sets? 134.129.203.26 (talk) 23:44, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- You know, on reviewing this I have to agree that the statement does not need a citation as it is covered by the one prior. I removed it because pocketmonsters.net is not a reliable source. Restoring. MelicansMatkin (talk) 23:52, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Beauty and the Beach
[edit]So why was this one actuly banned? The article just gives a general plot of the episode itself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Elcaballooscuro (talk • contribs) 22:10, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
- Because of the Bikini James issue... ZappaOMati 18:31, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
"Tentacool and Tentacruel" now on Cartoon Network Video
[edit]Should "Tentacool and Tentacruel" be counted as a banned episode now that it's on Cartoon Network Video and will probably air on Cartoon Network again soon? 76.92.186.38 (talk) 16:36, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
"Banned"?
[edit]Banned is a very strong word. Is it correct to use it in place of "withdrawn" or something similar given that no citations have been provided (as far as I could tell) for its use? 82.26.198.27 (talk) 00:20, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
New ban
[edit]I heard Rumors of a new episode that was banned in America because it features mild nudity. can anyone confirm? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.111.153.83 (talk) 05:06, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
- You heard wrongly. No such episode exists. MelicansMatkin (talk, contributions) 06:37, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
Miniryu no Densetsu shown in Australia
[edit]I remember watching an episode where Ash catches 30 Tauros in the Safari zone in Australia, on Cheese TV when I was young. So I believed this was dubbed and shown. 203.214.6.3 (talk) 11:35, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
Pokémon Scent-Sation banned in New Zealand?
[edit]I live in New Zealand, and I used to tape the anime off the air (having since bought the episodes legally) and I have Scent-Sation on tape from when it aired. My tape comes from the second run, so it was aired at least twice. Has it been banned since then? I'm not sure the first season (eps 1-57) episodes were aired more than twice on New Zealand channels. Can anyone confirm this? --Megatronacepticon (talk) 10:58, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
Suggestion for article rename
[edit]I would like to bring this article in-line with other "list" articles, how about renaming this to List of censored Pokémon episodes? Kencaesi (talk) 21:42, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
- Two problems. 1. This isn't a list. 2. They aren't "censored". They were episodes that never aired again. Loads of episodes had censored material. We can't list all of them. Would you like to provide what "other list articles" you are talking about? Blake (Talk·Edits) 21:57, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
This is from the anime, so... that section saying it doesn't exist, ever, at all in the anime might have an issue

Legend of Dratini
[edit]A recent edit included this comment in hidden text: "Please don't remove this, because this is actually true". In order to demonstrate something is true, references are needed to reliable sources. Verifiability is a core Wikipedia requirement. I've left the basic claim in place with a "citation needed" tag for now, but it's liable to be removed again if we can't find sources to back it up. Gusworld (talk) 22:35, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
- I removed it, it's complete nonsense. The scene in question is a mock police interrogation where the character is dressed up as a stereotypical police detective, and while he's wearing a fake mustache, it's a pencil-style one rather than a "Hitler-style" one.
The entire article really needs some serious clean-up. Not a single one of the claims about why these episodes were skipped by 4Kids are sourced, and they all seem to be pure, if logical, fan speculation. 85.167.10.13 (talk) 03:33, 18 September 2014 (UTC)
Necessary remakes
[edit]They should remake some of these episodes that lack what got them banned in the first place. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.186.22.193 (talk) 20:46, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
Mandarin Miss Match
[edit][1] As shown in the reference link, this episode would seem to have to be included in this article, since it was removed from the DVD box set. SnivyFan1995 (talk) 15:36, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
EP394
[edit]Does anyone know why episode 394 never aired except in one country? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Primal Groudon (talk • contribs) 15:01, 2 February 2019 (UTC)
South Korean Airings
[edit]I think those banned in South Korea should be added, along with the last ten or so episode of the Gold and Silver arc too, due to time constraints. They don't seem to have been dubbed in Korean over the years either. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 16:55, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
- Well those episodes should be added on Korean Wikipedia since they didn't air in Korean Language. Ajeeb Prani (talk) 17:58, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
"Jynx with Blackface"
[edit]Jynx isn't referred to this way outside of 2 episodes and it doesn't seem like appropriate wording for an encyclopedia, especially given the capitalization. lukini (talk | contribs) 16:41, 11 September 2023 (UTC)
