If you feel that you can make a positive contribution to the project, become a member by joining the list of members. If you don't know what to write or where to begin, or if you have doubts or ideas on how to improve an article, please address the project's discussion forum.
Scope
This project covers the creation and editing of articles related to the nation of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani people, its history, culture, geography and so on.
Subject structure and navigation
Goals pertaining to the structure of the subject itself include:
Refine and maintain the Outline of Azerbaijan, a key guide on Wikipedia to Azerbaijan as a subject. It serves as a table of contents, summary, and topic outline of coverage on the political entity Azerbaijan and is the most useful tool for exploring and understanding fundamental material about Azerbaijan (and how it fits together) on Wikipedia. This project simply enables readers to see at a glance how the subject of Azerbaijan is broken down, what the component topics are, and how they relate to each other - that is, how information on Azerbaijan is organized (here, and in the world-at-large). It is a site map and outline of knowledge that demystifies the subject known as "Azerbaijan". Because of its central role in the presentation of Wikipedia's coverage of this subject, it is very important to develop and maintain it to the highest level of quality: to help readers improve their conceptual awareness and understanding of Azerbaijan as well as find their way around this subject on Wikipedia, however it is incomplete and needs your editing contributions, especially with media files!
This is a list of Wikipedians who are committed to this WikiProject.
