Visitors to the Solomon Islands must obtain a visa unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries or citizens eligible for a free visitor permit on arrival.
All visitors must have a passport valid for 6 months.

In addition, a visa agreement with China has been signed on 7 November 2024 but is yet to be effective.[4]
Free Visitor Permit on arrival
[edit]Holders of passports of the following countries and territories may enter Solomon Islands with a free visitor permit on arrival for up to 3 months within any 1-year period:[5][6]
