My final article on notbale Indian elephants
Anamala Kaleem, Hey John, this is my final article regarding the famous notable elephants in India, especially in Kerala. Hope you will review this too. Unfortunately some other famous elephants are there. But most of them lacks sources. Anyway Ill try my best. Cheers Kashmorwiki (talk) 17:20, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Kashmorwiki, all done. Where there are not enough sources to create articles for other elephants, you could combine them into one article, say List of notable Indian elephants. As long as you have at least one source for each elephant that should be acceptable. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 17:30, 13 January 2021 (UTC)

Amefurasshi
Hi John B123,
Sorry, but what is the reason for Amefurasshi deletion now?. The group have 2 years old now, multiple single releases, 1 full album, MVS and a lot of lives. This group have more notability than others which have wiki page.
- Hi Vimoral2, as per the edit summary the article was deleted previously at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Amefurasshi. The new article didn't show any more notability - see WP:BAND. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 19:36, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
Hi John B123, the group fulfil the points: 1. They appeared in reliable fonts like Natalie music2. Had a single on Oricon ranking. Plus their 7 singles and full album are on Spotify and Deezer. --Vimoral2 (talk) 20:43, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

Clarify some doubts
Hey John, hope you are doing well. I have some doubts regarding the autopatrolled, pending change and new page reviewer rights. I read about all the minimum criterias to obtain that rights and I think I am eligible for autopatrolled rights. What is your opinion. Is there any chance that my request will be accepted. And regarding new page reviewer, is there any minimum specific number of article that I should create to be eligible for that right? Kashmorwiki (talk) 03:40, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Kashmorwiki. You need to have created at least 25 articles to be granted autopatrolled rights. The New Page Patroller requirements are listed at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Reviewers, possibly you need a bit more experience for that? There is a school for people who want to become New Page Patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/School. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 17:28, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

A user is not following proper steps while nominating an article for deletion
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Cupper52 I would like to report my concern regarsing this user. He only spent 2 mins between this edit https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:MobileDiff/1000352686 and this nomination https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:MobileDiff/1000353072 .We know 2 mins is not sufficient to do a proper WP:BEFORE and its many steps. The user has done this so many times. Please check his edit history. Some articles like this has been nominated for deletion without following proper steps. Please take necessary steps to stop this action. Thankyou Kashmorwiki (talk) 09:12, 15 January 2021 (UTC)

Is it notable
Hello John, I would like to create a new article on a singer who recently passed away. The person is not a playback singer, but has performed live in more than 1000 stages. He is knon for recreating songs of legendary singer Mohammed Rafi and is known as Kerala Rafi. He has been covered in The Hindu, Indian express etc h 1. https://www.thehindu.com/news/national/kerala/kerala-rafi-cochin-azad-passes-away/article29966126.ece 2. https://www.newindianexpress.com/states/kerala/2019/nov/14/noted-singer-cochin-azad-passes-away-2061384.html https://m.timesofindia.com/city/kochi/Music-programme-at-Ernakulam-general-hospital/articleshow/54940644.cms 5. https://www.deccanchronicle.com/140928/nation-current-affairs/article/fort-kochi-ready-biennale-second-edition 7.https://www.madhyamam.com/music/music-live/singer-kochin-azad-passed-away-music-news/648771 8. https://www.twentyfournews.com/2019/11/13/singer-kochin-azad-passed-away.html Since the subject is not a playback singer, Im doubtful whether he is notable. But his death was a major news in national and regional medias and in one newspaper, there was a special paper regarsing his life. So I believe he must be notable. Please tell me your view Kichu🐘 Discuss 04:22, 17 January 2021 (UTC)

Rivers course
Recently, I noticed that you deleted the "geography" section of some articles relating to water bodies or rivers in Quebec, mentioning that the published data were not referenced. Note that as a geographer I made a good description of the watercourses / water body on WP, using rigorously Toporama cartographic instrumentation, provided by the Government of Canada. The reference is appropriate and well indicated in each article. This description is faithful to the data obtained by the instrumentation. My job of describing rivers is meticulous and I am proud of it. These descriptions are in no way inconsistent with WP guidelines. Regrettably, this erasure impoverishes the encyclopedia. By hoping that from now on the reviewers have in mind the best interests of the readers, rather than an uncompromising application of the rule. -- Veillg1 (talk) 17:35, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Veillg1: As discussed on your talk page, a link to a database, no matter how good that database is, is not an acceptable way of referencing. We are not writing scientific research papers where explaining your methods and subsequent findings are the normal method of working. I am disappointed that despite being told repeatedly by various editors that this is not an acceptable practice you continue as if you are above the policies and guidelines the community has evolved and the rest of us adhere to. The New Page patrollers do actually have more productive ways of spending their time than battling your continued non-compliance. --John B123 (talk) 18:09, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
Patrick Gordon-Duff-Pennington
Regarding the deletion of Patrick Gordon-Duff-Pennington. He is a MBE and OBE. Does that in itself make him notable aside from his other accomplishments? Thriley (talk) 18:01, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Thriley, I tagged the page originally as the content of "British farmer and landowner. He resided in Muncaster Castle" gives no indication of notability. Your expanded version looks fine.
- In general terms, an OBE or MBE by themselves doesn't make someone notable. However, with the exception of civil servants who get them as a form of "service award", whatever they have done to get the award is probably notable. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 18:18, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you! My apologies for starting the article so poorly. I meant to go back to it to show notability but got caught up in some non Wikipedia work. I'll be sure not to leave a new article like that again! Best, Thriley (talk) 18:27, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Thriley, you may want to add the {{in creation}} tag when you first create a page to show you intend to work on the article further. Regards --John B123 (talk) 18:32, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
Don't you think that 7 sources from various newspapers is enough to "credibly indicate the importance or significance of the subject ", such that A7 isn't appropriate? Though I have advised the creating editor that they ought to use {{under construction}} when they're still working on an article. PamD 21:30, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- Ah, hadn't noticed the above discussion ... but when tagged it already had the 7 references, which I think are enough to make A7 inappropriate. PamD 21:33, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi PamD. My understanding of A7 is that it applies to content rather than references. "Patrick Gordon-Duff-Pennington was a British farmer and landowner. He resided in Muncaster Castle" did not show any notability. It would be unreasonable to expect the reader to determine notability by reading the references. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 21:46, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- A7 isn't concerned with what the reader thinks, but what the editor proposing for deletion thinks, surely. The reader looking for more info on this man will be better served by being given a set of references than by a total gap. Wikipedia:Credible claim of significance is only an essay (though linked from the page for CSD A7), but supports my view that if the article has sources showing a credible claim of significance, then it isn't appropriate for speedy deletion which can obliterate it instantly and waste the creating editor's work in assembling a useful set of sources, within less than two hours of them starting the article. We all have occasions when the phone rings, something crops up, etc and we can't get back to an article: I really don't think it was right to try to wipe out this article so soon when it had such an array of sources, even though the editor hadn't developed the content.
- But I do think that Refill2 makes a real mess of trying to create a reference from a URL: no access-dates, no publication dates, no recognition of newspapers... pretty awful. PamD 22:03, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- I see where you are coming from. Although in this instance the editor intended to improve the article, in many cases editors create similar standard articles with no intent to improve the article and then move on to the next article (Asian villages and footballers spring to mind). Admins tend not to look at these articles for many hours (not meant as a criticism, I'm sure they have countless other things to do). A speedy delete tag often prompts the editor to resolve the issue during that period. (Maintenance tags often get ignored). Whilst I'm not advocating adding db tags willy-nilly, where they are justified (putting aside the difference of interpretation here), and as a last resort, it often gets results without the page actually being deleted.
- Whilst Refill2 has a lot of shortcomings, it's probably better than having a bare url. My personal bugbear with it is that it hasn't been update for a long time and still uses
{{{dead-url}}}
rather than{{{url-status}}}
which causes an error message on the page. Also when dealing with archive.today urls it fails to add an{{{archive-date}}}
which again causes an error. Regards --John B123 (talk) 23:00, 18 January 2021 (UTC)

Tito Duarte
Hi JohnB123, thank you very much for your advice and for reviewing the article on Tito Duarte. He died without having achieved fame and has subsequently been vindicated on radio, television and among jazz musicians, because he was ahead of his time and composed and made arrangements that are now considered very high quality and innovative (I have heard this several times on the radio). I have created the Discography section and contributed with all the new references I could find and more information. So I delete the template. --Miskito89 (talk) 15:48, 19 January 2021 (UTC)

Dummy edits
User:John B123 I have tried to use dummy edits to activate Authority control without any success. I have added or subtracted lines before or after the Authority control template. Is there some sort of protocol that I am missing? Thanks for any advice you may provide. Mvitulli (talk) 00:33, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Mvitulli. The identifiers for the authority control are kept at wikidata. If they are not on wikidata then Authority control won't display. When you save a page it checks against wikidata. If the data is already on wikidata, adding {{authority control}} to the article will cause it to display. If you add {{authority control}} before the data is added to wikidata, then you need to save again (dummy edit) to synchronise once the data is added to wikidata, so a dummy edit will only work if the identifiers are already on wikidata. What's the article? Regards. --John B123 (talk) 01:18, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
- I tried this on a number of pages including Ellen Maycock, Martha K. Smith, and Naomi Fisher. If I manually input the math genealogy number in the authority control tag, authority control appears but only with that item. Mvitulli (talk) 03:41, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Mvitulli, the identifiers weren't on wikidata which is why nothing showed up. I've added LCCN, MGP and VIAF for the above 3 articles on their wikidata pages [1], [2] and [3] (I couldn't find a math genealogy number for Naomi Fisher). You can add further identifiers on the relevant wikidata pages, but if you do you'll need to make a dummy edit on the WP article to make the additional identifiers display. One more question ---- does it matter if you use the {{Authority control}} template instead of {{authority control}}? Mvitulli (talk) 19:50, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is case-insensitive to the first letter of a page name (prefixes such as "template" are ignored), so {{authority control}} and {{Authority control}} are effectively the same thing. Authority control only imports certain identifiers. Google Scholar ID and Math Review Author ID are not supported. For a full list of identifiers that are imported see Template:Authority control#Usage. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 20:04, 20 January 2021 (UTC)

Looking at the wikidata entry[4] for Marilyn Burns (mathematics educator), although you successfully added identifiers the authority control didn't show up as the wikidata and wikipedia pages weren't linked. I've linked them now, but for future reference check the section called "Wikipedia" on the wikidata page has the wikipedia page included. (articles on the English wikipedia are prefixed "en"). Notability criteria’s have been fulfilled: he won several world cup medals, he’s the leader of the FIS World cup, and current world no.1. He’s also a Youth Olympic gold medalist. What do you want more? Easy to put a quick tag instead of being interested to others. Your claims are false and useless, and prompts good and essential content contributors to walk away from Wikipedia. TheGreenGiant23 (talk) 04:08, 23 January 2021 (UTC)
- @TheGreenGiant23: The purpose of Wikipedia is to inform readers, most of that information is not contained on the page. Notability is judged by what is on the page. Apart from the Youth Olympics (which do not satisfy WP:NSPORT), there is nothing on the page to show notability. The notability tag doesn't say he is not notable, but invites editors to add to the page to show notability. --John B123 (talk) 11:49, 23 January 2021 (UTC)
Mount Richardson (British Columbia)
As of January 19, you redirected the article "Mount Richardson (British Columbia)" to article "Mount Richardson Provincial Park" on WP. This park is part of the mount, not the reverse. In fact, the article about the mount was much more detailed than the one about the park. My recommendation is: Option A: to keep the original article about the mount; and enrich the article on the park; (Note: I do recommand this option) Option B: to keep the original article about the mount; and redirect the article on the park to the article on the mount. -- Veillg1 (talk) 04:15, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Veillg1: WP:IDIDNTHEARTHAT seems to happening here. To repeat what has already been explained to you above, on your talk page and on Onel5969's talk page. Mount Richardson (British Columbia) was effectively unreferenced and WP:OR. You cannot simply point to the home page of a database as a reference. --John B123 (talk) 16:56, 20 January 2021 (UTC)

- John B123 and Onel5969 Regretly, the article "Mount Richardson (British Columbia)" was redirected to "Mount Richardson Provincial Park" and its content has disappeared. The article "Mount Richardson (British Columbia)" is well documented and well referenced. Please display this article again. - @Veillg1: I don't see why you think the various guidelines don't apply to you. In particular WP:VERIFY, WP:OR and WP:SYNTH. This has nothing to do with these being geographic articles, other editors manage to write geographic articles with full compliance of the guidelines. I note you have been blocked twice on fr-wiki for continuingly disregarding the equivalent guidelines there. - Veillg1 No, Wikipedia guidelines require that articles are appropriately referenced to reliable sources. It is inexcusable to rely on your own sloppily reported synthesis of primary sources. In the same way that it is not acceptable to point to the cover page of a book and say details X, Y and Z are contained within and anyone with a knowledge of English can find the references -- similarly it not acceptable to link to the front page of a database and say it is easy for anyone who understands maps to extract the same information. The only abuse going on here is your carelessness in editing and sourcing article you create and the repeated instances of WP:IDIDNTHEARTHAT when given very specific advice from experienced editors about how to edit more responsibly. older ≠ wiser 19:02, 23 January 2021 (UTC)

About short descriptions
What's the difference between short descriptions and the small descriptions given on Wikidata about almost everything? Why not keep it on Wikidata? Cheers, User:Tetizeraz. Send me a ✉️ ! 19:21, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi User:Tetizeraz. Originally the short descriptions were drawn from wikidata and weren't editable from within wikipedia. Short descriptions are regarded as part of the page and therefore subject to the various guidelines, but the equivalent field in wikidata, "Description", isn't. To avoid the policies and guidelines of one project being imposed on another it was decided to have a separate description on Wikipedia. In practical terms it makes little difference and 99% of the time the two descriptions are he same. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 19:50, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for looking at the above entry and suggesting section heads. I've added them, but just wanted to let you know that I chose not to put them in originally because of the length of the piece - less than 350 words. I think at this length adding unnecessary structure detracts from the clarity, rather than adds to it. I also don't regard the piece as a stub. It includes just about all the documented facts available on Lander, and I don't think further length is possible or necessary. Anyway, section heads are there now. Sfjohna (talk) 22:02, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Sfjohna. It seems more readable to me now that it's divided, but perhaps that's just me and my brain can only process small chunks. What is a stub is subjective, but if there is no further information that can be added then it's not a stub regardless of its size. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 22:15, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
- You are probably right, thanks again for looking. Sfjohna (talk) 07:37, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
Thank you so much for your tweaking of this article. I usually forget to put in categories.
Just so you will know, whereas your "dead end" and "one-source" criticisms were concerned, that may have been true for the article body, however the infobox provided links to 4 different World Championship page articles, as well as other pages (however, I have now duplicated them into the article body, per your suggestion). Also, while only one source was explicitly listed in the references section for this article, the supporting data linked-to in this article (from the various World Championships articles I just mentioned) was based on multiple sources. Is there a protocol for duplicating links from the infobox to the page article, as well as references from one article to another? The latter part of that question is something I find more perplexing because some people may refer to that as a "circular reference", but it is still based on a reference that is in a linked-to page within Wikipedia.
Thank you for your attention.QuakerIlK (talk) 23:51, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi QuakerIlK. the {{dead end}} referred to the body text. I see you have added some links now, I'd probably link Bohemia as well as at the time of the World Championships it was part of Austro-Hungary, but after WW1 when he was coaching, part of Czechoslovakia. Also, a reader not very conversant with geography might think it referred to a Bohemian lifestyle.
- If you use another article as a reference then that's WP:CIRCULAR. You can copy references from other articles, so you could add <ref>{{Cite web |url=http://iis.siccsports.com/Sports/Medals/Details?id=GA122N10&lang=en |title=Historical Medalists - Team |access-date=2017-07-26 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20161009183146/http://iis.siccsports.com/Sports/Medals/Details?id=GA122N10&lang=en |archive-date=2016-10-09 |url-status=dead }}</ref> from 1913 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships to the article to verify he was part of the team that year. How do i see the reviews people leave on my articles?
When I click the box-looking icon in the top right it says 'your article has been reviewed' and then it says who reviewed it, but how do i see the review? Does review in wikipedia context just mean the article has been confirmed? is there a rating system? — Preceding unsigned comment added by TableSalt342 (talk • contribs) 19:18, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi TableSalt342, reviewed in this context means that the article has been looked at and is suitable for inclusion. It's the first line of defence against articles that have copyright problems, are hoaxes or otherwise contravene policies and guidelines. etc. There is no review as such, but if the reviewer hasn't added any tags to the page then they're happy that the page doesn't have any major problems. Page tagged for deletion
Thanks for reviewing my page, though there is no copyright issue. All cases on Wikipedia have the judgments copied from the official source, as you cannot put in your own words what judges have held - these judgments are frequently cited, thus need to be accurate word for word. Furthermore, the EUR-Lex website states that all material can be copied for commercial and non-commercial purposes, therefore no copyright rules are infringed upon. If you look at other cases' pages, the judgments are in this same format, copied from the official source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iloveart&law (talk • contribs) 23:57, 5 February 2021 (UTC)

I would like to create an article for a fully professional club that plays in Kerala Premier League, the highest level of football in the state of Kerala. Winner of this league is also promoted to the second division league of India. They are mainly known for starting the first ever residential academy in Kerala and became professional in 2019. So if there are enough sources available to establish its importance, will this club meet WP:GNG?. I hope that that point first residential academy in Kerala' is a factor to consider here. - Provided you can find the sources then it should be fine. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 16:34, 6 February 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for reviewing my article on Pallavi Dani
I just put up a Talk page for the article. Would you include your review there? Many thanks, John. Mvitulli (talk) 21:10, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Mvitulli, the review isn't like a conventional review, it's just a check that the article meets various guidelines, isn't a copyright violation etc. Where a problem is found appropriate tags are added. I didn't find any problems with Pallavi Dani so "marked as reviewed" is all the review consists of. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 22:02, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
Hi Dear John, Thanks for reviewing the page.
Hi Dear John, Thanks for reviewing the page Stalwart Esports, can you kindly help me with setting up the talk page for the article. also i don't know why but the article is unable to appear over the search, whenever searched for. kindly check. Hums4r (Let's Talk) 17:54, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Hums4r. I've set up the talk page. Articles don't appear in searches until they are reviewed, it should start showing up now. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 18:05, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- Thank You Very Much, I Appreciate your time and efforts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hums4r (talk • contribs) 18:06, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- Dear, John B123 an admin has moved the page, can you kindly review the page again and check if there's something that needs to be deleted. i've been working very hard on it and typing this since past 4-5 hours. would really appreciate your help. Thanks Hums4r (Let's Talk) 18:42, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Hums4r. I see you have declared a conflict of interest about the article Zeyan Shafiq. As Shafiq founded Stalwart Esports, then potentially that COI is carried over so the article should have gone through WP:AfC. I didn't realise that when I reviewed the article. Looking more closely at the references, a lot of them don't actually mention Stalwart Esports. You need to change these references to those verifying the content of the article. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 18:57, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- John B123 check these you'll understand that i've been asking since morning to many people to do articles on esports in india. but no one replied so i had to do it. also CptViraj is interested in esports but even he told me that we don't have enough wikipedians from india who would like to do articles on esports,i have always told the truth, i didn't hesitate in declaring the COI last time because it was my fault, but this time there is no COI, if you want i can even send you screenshots of all the news article's that i read while creating this. And even if any of the information there looks incorrect you can ban me from wikipedia, i wrote everything with facts only from reliable sources. Esports don't get enough news coverage, but still i was able to find out around 16-17 references for the same, i have added couple of more links as well. if this doesn't meet the guidelines you can simply delete the page because i can't research more on it, i have done my level best to get all the information also i would request you to check other esport related article's they don't even have more then 2 references. User talk:CptViraj#Hi Dear Viraj, regarding esports in india. Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Video games/Esports#Regarding Indian Esport Article’s. Thanks Hums4r (Let's Talk) 19:06, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Hums4r: So I can understand the background to this, what was your COI with Zeyan Shafiq? Regards. --John B123 (talk) 19:13, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- @John B123:, when i started wikipedia i didn't know how to write, and i wanted to write on kashmiri subjects since i am a kashmiri, so since zeyan shafiq had significant coverage in the news i decided to write on him, I had to declare my COI because i contacted zeyan to get his current details like residence and academic information, i didn't knew back then that this is something that is considered as wrong on wiki, after i told his i was asked to declare the COI, i did it immediately because it was totally my fault only. but i never got in touch with him again, i never even edited his page, since i had researched a lot i used to post suggestions on his talk page, and today i was exploring esports since morning kindly check this Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Video games/Esports#Regarding Indian Esport Article’s , i even asked people to help me but no one was interested in esports so since i had done research on stalwart esports earlier i decided to write about it myself by looking at the style of other esport organisations on wikipedia. Hums4r (Let's Talk) 19:20, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Hums4r: That seems marginal on COI. I've moved the article back to mainspace. Please see my comments on your talk page. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 20:24, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- @John B123:, great, thanks. I appreciate it, but i guess it isn’t still visible in the wikipedia search, I’ve never encountered such issue earlier, you might want to have a look, i mean like if there’s an article named EVOS esports and if we type EVOS in the search it will display the drop down options but in case of Stalwart Esports, it doesn’t do that, we have to input the full keyword(Stalwart Esports) to open the page. Thanks again, have a great day/night ahead. Hums4r (Let's Talk) 21:50, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Hums4r: The drop-down list on the search box is taken from a pre-configured list, not from a real time search. The drop down list is cached. I don't know how often the list is updated, but assume it to be hours not days so Stalwart Esports should appear soon. Regards --John B123 (talk) 22:07, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- John B123, hi dear john, hope you’re safe and fine. One editor has placed a COI tag on the page that we were discussing here which you had reviewed earlier Stalwart Esports , i have already informed you about all the things and a COI tag on articles created by me will certainly question my credibility on wikipedia.I didn’t want to remove the tag myself so I would request you to kindly review the page again and if you feel there’s anything that sounds incorrect according to wiki policies you can certainly remove it. Although I didn’t edit the page much after that, but still you can certainly remove anything that might look incorrect to you. Thanks and regards.Hums4r (Let's Talk) 09:41, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Hums4r. I don't see anything untoward on the page and have removed the tag. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 09:49, 7 February 2021 (UTC)

Hello a pleasure to greet you truthfully I was creating this Wikipedia entry about the city of Vacamonte but I want to connect it to Spanish and French can help me--Secretsgenius (talk) 16:25, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Secretsgenius, I've moved the page to Vacamonte, which was previously a redirect. Linking to other languages is done via Wikidata. If you search on wikidata for the relevent page and then add the English page under "Wikipedia", next time the English page is saved the interwiki links will be displayed. The wikidata entry for Vacamonte is here.[6] Regards --John B123 (talk) 16:44, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you, you can help me in this article translated from Spanish to English called Joey Mills--Secretsgenius (talk) 16:49, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Secretsgenius, when translating articles you need to provide attribution, see WP:HOWTRANS. The article is already linked to the Spanish and Polish articles. There is a certain faction on Wikipedia who don't think articles on porn actors should be allowed on WP. Many have been deleted. To try and prevent this happening to your article I would suggest to add more references, especially from main-stream sources rather than from the porn industry. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 17:01, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- but if there are prostitution articles in each country hahahahaha I don't understandSecretsgenius (talk) 18:06, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- I'm sure they would delete prostitution articles if they could. The difference is that prostitution is covered in the mainstream, scientific articles etc which prevent the articles being deleted at WP:AfD as they have "reliable sources". Porn related topics tend only to get coverage in industry sources so are easier targets. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 18:13, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- and the articles of Tiktokers that you think or about this also would consider that you will observe this article with little information and without many references that prove its permanence by Wikipedia Richard Holzer if they delete mine they should also delete that without relevance. Secretsgenius (talk) 18:19, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- I totally agree about Tiktokers, YouTubers, reality stars etc but unfortunately I don't make the rules. --John B123 (talk) 18:25, 7 February 2021 (UTC)

Orphan
Hi. Why do you think this article is an orphan? Ni1ni1 (talk) 17:32, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Ni1ni1, because no other articles link to it, see [7]. Regards --John B123 (talk) 17:35, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- I think it's stub Ni1ni1 (talk) 17:47, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- It is a stub, which means it's a short article. An orphan is something different. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 17:50, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
