Ellery Balcombe
Hi there,
With the Ellery Balcombe article you just reviewed and suggested for deletion, what's stopping it from being notable? No worries if it is deleted of course, just wanted to find out what the specific policy is for this.
Many thanks. ErraticDrumlin (talk) 20:28, 24 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi ErraticDrumlin. The specific notability guidelines for footballers is WP:NFOOTBALL. In short, they need to have played for a "fully professional" league as listed at WP:FPL. Unfortunately, Boreham Wood F.C. and Viborg FF don't qualify. They can also meet the requirements by playing for the national team at senior level, but not as an U20. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 20:49, 24 December 2020 (UTC)
- Oh I see, that makes sense. Thank you. ErraticDrumlin (talk) 20:51, 24 December 2020 (UTC)
Topological Hochschild Homology
Can you add the following categories
Thanks, Wundzer (talk) 21:34, 24 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Wundzer, I've added Category:Homological algebra and Category:Algebraic topology but Category:Homotopical algebra doesn't exist. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 21:45, 24 December 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks! Wundzer (talk) 21:49, 24 December 2020 (UTC)
Another request
Hey John, can you review https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arya_Rajendran Shahoodu (talk) 18:36, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Shahoodu, I've already marked it as reviewed. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 18:51, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
Ravi Krishnan
Hi there, I could not see the notice on the page but was hoping you could tell me why it was inappropriate. Ravi Krishnan has worked in Indian sport for nearly 30 years, and should be recognised as one of the bigger names in the industry. See Peter Hutton (head of sports at Facebook) and Manoj Badale, both Krishnan’s contemporaries and former colleagues as examples. Happy to make modifications and hopefully can get the page reinstated. Thanks Rohanav (talk) 10:25, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Rohanav. The page was written in a promotional way and was a copyright violation of http://conference.massparticipationworld.com/blog/ctshowcase-team-member/ravi-krishnan/ Is this a paid contribution? Paid contributions, or other conflict of interest contributions, need to be created in draftspace and submitted through the articles for creation process. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 10:37, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
Thank you. Understood. The image is actually an image that belongs to me that I had sent to Mass Participation Asia. This is not a promotional activity and it is certainly not paid, and there is no conflict of interest. I did take bits from his bio. I will attempt to address your concerns. Do you advice I submit it directly again or through the draftspace? Thanks again for taking the time to reply. Regards
Rohanav (talk) 03:46, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Rohanav. It would probably better to create it in draft. I'm happy to have a look once it's ready. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 10:11, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
Ekiben Hitoritabi
Hi, you left a notice on Ekiben Hitoritabi that there were too many disambiguation pages linked, but I am not seeing any auto alerts for disambiguation pages and I linked the station pages as carefully as possible. Is the problem the pipe links when there is more than one station of that name?
Tzippurah (talk) 16:56, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, Tzippurah. It was the DPL bot that added the tag not me.[1] The problem is as you though where there are more than one station with the same name. For example, there are two stations called Matsuyama Station: Matsuyama Station (Ehime) and Matsuyama Station (Fukuoka). The best way to resolve this is using Dab Solver (link). It highlights the problem links in red. If you click on the red text it will give you a list of similarly named items to choose from. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 17:31, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
Help Request
- Hi, i am a new wikipedia editor. One of the page i created List of the youngest mayors in India is repeatedly vandalised. i am not familiar about wiki anti-vandalism policy. Can you just have a look at it. Thank you (Ashique2020 (talk) 08:22, 27 December 2020 (UTC))
Hi Ashique2020, I've reverted to page back to the last version you edited. I would suggest you place a request for page protection at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 08:38, 27 December 2020 (UTC)

Deletion of Daniel Moore Bates
While I typed why it shouldn’t be deleted in the talk page for DMB, I’ll go over it quickly again, the only thing I copied from the non public domain source was the formatting of starting with early life then going to his career followed by his wife kids and eventual death Bigmike2346 (talk) 19:37, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Bigmike2346, please see copyvio report. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 19:48, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
Give me until the end of the day and it will be fixed Bigmike2346 (talk) 19:49, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
Look, is it better now Bigmike2346 (talk) 20:16, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
And how do you get to see the copyvio for the articles made? Bigmike2346 (talk) 20:16, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Bigmike2346: That looks fine now. I've removed the speedy delete tag, an admin will remove the {{copyvio-revdel}} tag as soon as they have changed the visibility of previous versions. A bot checks new pages for copyvios and then this is flagged on the New Pages Feed. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 20:30, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
Question
Hi. Thanks for this [2]. How do I add category 1860s to the page, and is it the proper cat?Wil1andar (talk) 21:32, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Wil1andar, I see you have worked out how to add categories. I'm not sure 1860's is an appropriate category but have added some more suitable ones. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 21:44, 27 December 2020 (UTC)

Review needed
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Priya_P.V&venotify=created#References Can you review it Shahoodu (talk) 09:32, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Shahoodu. I'm not sure the page is compliant with the notability guidelines. WP:NFOOTBALL's guideance is that the person should have played in or managed in a "fully professional league" or a "Tier 1 International Match". Unfortunately, the Indian Women's League is listed as a "fully professional league" at WP:FPL and U14 team are not Tier 1. I would suggest you expand the article and make the focus her being the first woman coach from Kerala to hold the AFC A-licence. With suitable references that may then pass the notability of WP:GNG. (Notability is extremly complex!) Regards. --John B123 (talk) 10:00, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
John, She coached a professional team in the top divison womens league of India. I hope that makes her notable Shahoodu (talk) 10:25, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
- The trouble is the Indian Women's League isn't considered a qualifying league. WP:FPL possibly needs to be updated as the only women's leagues that are included are from England, Japan, Spain and the US, but that is something that would have to be taken up at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 10:46, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
See this https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Football/Women%27s_football_task_force/Leagues#Active_top-division_leagues_and_national_championships I think Indian Womens league is also a part of it Shahoodu (talk) 12:29, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
- That's a list of active leagues, Indian Women's League is listed at WP:NOTFPL as not being fully professional. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 12:37, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
Ok Understood it. So should I make the article mainly pointing on first AFC license women holder from kerala,so you can review it Shahoodu (talk) 12:40, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
- That would probably be the best way forward. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 13:10, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
https://scroll.in/field/827563/aiff-launches-india-s-first-professional-football-league-for-women John, sources say, this is the first professioanl womens league in India. So can you update the list based on this Shahoodu (talk) 13:33, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
- As I said before, the contents of the lists need to be taken up at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 13:46, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
Ok John. Thankyou Shahoodu (talk) 13:49, 28 December 2020 (UTC)

Hello, John B123. I saw that you were responding to a speedy delete article about Valerio Matanò on WP:CSD G11. I cleaned the article of advertising content and insignificant facts. I really want to ask you to remove the speedy delete template or replace it with the advert template. Thank you in advance. Emilia Buonarroti (talk) 14:40, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Emilia Buonarroti, it still reads as a promotional piece to me. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 14:47, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for the answer John B123. Help me how to make the article look non-advertising, please. I would be very grateful. Regards. Emilia Buonarroti (talk) 14:51, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Emilia Buonarroti, I don't really have the time to do that, but I could move it to draft where you can work on it until it's ready. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 14:57, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- John B123, I made new edits to the article. Maybe you have the option to change to the template {{advert}}, since the person has significance. Regards. Emilia Buonarroti (talk) 15:08, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- Apart from the fact he was born in Milan, the article is a list of his achievements. Compare that with the way say Andrea Rossi (entrepreneur) is written. It contains far more of his life than just his successes. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 15:26, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, I read the article about Andrea Rossi. Thank you, John B123. I added information to Matano's biography. See if everything is correct, please. Regards. Emilia Buonarroti (talk) 17:45, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- That's looking a lot better. As you have already mentioned the inventions/patents, I don't see the need to list them all in "Patents and inventions". Regards --John B123 (talk) 18:17, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you very much John B123. I finished the article. I really hope that now you can remove the template. Regards. Emilia Buonarroti (talk) 19:17, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- That's fine now, I've removed the template. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 19:22, 30 December 2020 (UTC)

Tauperlitz
What? This is a translation, still being worked on, from the german wiki.
To put it into my draftspace just because it hasn't got references on, less than 2 hours after it was created is a little ridiculous.
Instead, maybe you should have just tagged it. Chaosdruid (talk) 21:25, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Chaosdruid: There are many unreferenced stubs created every day which never progress any further. Most editors who intend to work further on new articles tag them with {{in creation}}, {{under construction}} or {{in use}} so others can see that this is just the start of the article rather than what the creator thinks is an acceptable article. --John B123 (talk) 21:40, 30 December 2020 (UTC)

John B123 Sir, Kindly review this subject. Happy new year 2021 ! Thanks and regards RV (talk) 06:37, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- John B123 Sir, Just to update, the subject is moved to the Draft place, and I agree with the user's advice (DGG). Hence ignore the topic. Thanks RV (talk) 07:39, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
A doubt
Since one article I created was first moved into draftspace by you, I have a doubt...What is the difference betweem red link and draft? I actually didnt understood from the essay Kashmorwiki (talk) 12:35, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Kashmorwiki, a redlink is a link to an article that doesn't exist, for example No article here. A draft is an article in draftspace that is not ready for publication. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 12:44, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
So if I create an article via red link method, anykne can review it other than the crrator? Is it like that? Kashmorwiki (talk) 12:46, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- That's right. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 12:48, 31 December 2020 (UTC)

@JohnB123 I received your notice regarding deletion of the page and have read all the notability policies of Wikipedia and have recreated the article.I asked the permission of an user named @Chetsford The subject that I have written is about an South Indian who became one of the youngest published author in India.Hopefully you would get a glance at it and change your mind.
Grover no 1 (Talk)
- Hi Grover no 1. In my opinion the article doesn't meet the notability requirements. I don't see anything on Chetsford's talk page about permission, but do note he advised you to submit the article to WP:AfC when you informed him you had recreated the article. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 10:14, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
John B123.What can you expect from a new user like me, Sorry it may be annoying. The subject that I have been written is spoken a bit so, I had done research and wrote about him.If you find this worthless, you could delete this, I have no objection.I will never create an article again because the requirements are too hard to be accomplished.

Thanks John B123 for warning of proposed deletion. I totally rewrote the opening paragraph and removed the proposed deletion tag. Mvitulli (talk) 00:02, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Mvitulli}, I've restored the {{Copyvio-revdel}} tag. This doesn't imply that there are copyright problems with the current version, but is asking an admin to change the visibility of previous versions where there were copyvios. As soon as this is done the notice will be removed. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 08:36, 2 January 2021 (UTC)

Gerolamo Accoramboni
Hello John B123. Thanks for reviewing Gerolamo Accoramboni. But why I got Tag: content sourced to vanity press with the new page? Regards.--Parsedan (talk) 17:27, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Parsedan It's there because you have included a reference (I Testamenti dei Cardinali: Giuseppe Accoramboni (1672-1747)) that is published by Lulu.com. Lulu publishes any book an author uploads to them so it's looked on as a self-published source. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 17:50, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you. --Parsedan (talk) 18:00, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
Thank you and a request
Hey there. Thank you for reviewing my pages recently. Can I please request that these recently created pages: Alfred Bourgeois and Ricky Lee Sanderson go back to draft because they are clearly not ready for the main page. Thank you. Inexpiable (talk) 00:38, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- I've done it don't worry. Inexpiable (talk) 09:07, 3 January 2021 (UTC)

Bob Wells notability
I noticed the Bob Wells notability tag you added. I'll be removing it because he does meet the Wikipedia guidelines for notable. He's been on various TV news programs. Sources are abundant. I'm more than willing to discuss this here or on my talk page. By my off the cuff estimate he gains about 50,000 followers every year. What's going on with the subject at hand maybe something I understand better than the individual himself or the editor who created the page. Think of it as a "he got there first" avenue of minimalism that people naturally gravitate to. Dana60Cummins (talk) 11:01, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Dana60Cummins: I assume this refers to Bob Wells (vandweller). Number of followers is not one of the notability guidelines as far as I'm aware. Notability needs to be demonstrated. From WP:BASIC: People are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject.. Apart from the reference on the page to CBS, all the other references do not give significant coverage o Wells, hence tagging the article. I would remind you that maintenance tags should only be removed if the issues have been resolved or the reason for the removal is explained in the edit summary. --John B123 (talk) 11:22, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- Please read the NYT article again. It's focus is the annual gathering that Wells created, and Wells himself is the thread of the entire article from start to finish. Not a trivial mention I would think. StonyBrook (talk) 12:02, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- @StonyBrook: as you say, the article's focus is the annual gathering. Notability isn't inherited. A gathering may be notabile but that doesn't automatically make the creator notable. --John B123 (talk) 12:39, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- Not exactly what I was getting at JohnB123 with the followers, just a heads up of what is happening. I haven't even been over any sources. I'm trying to paint a picture of what is happening while being respectful to the subject. This has the potential to sound insulting, to him, as he is essentially homeless. So if I sound cryptic that maybe why as we discuss this. You mentioned a source from CBS, he's been on every news broadcast besides FOX as I remember. Therefor I'm assuming if I gather interviews from PBS, CNN, NBC that it's therefore notable? Is that what you are recommending? I haven't added anything to the article as of now.Dana60Cummins (talk) 12:19, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- I'm not worried about there being anything in there that's insulting. The subject himself has provided all the information publicly in reliable sources. StonyBrook (talk) 12:28, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- StonyBrook I was referring to just the discussion (in future tense) between me and John. I'm not the best communicator. I apologize for that. The page is fine, you did better than I would have. Dana60Cummins (talk) 12:40, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Dana60Cummins: That's exactly what the notability tag says:[4] "..may not meet Wikipedia's notability guideline for biographies. Please help to demonstrate the notability of the topic by citing reliable secondary sources that are independent of the topic and provide significant coverage of it beyond a mere trivial mention." ie the subject may be notable but that notability is not demonstrated on the page. --John B123 (talk) 12:47, 3 January 2021 (UTC)

What do you want me to verify there? All the data is cited after the obituary mentioned in the references. Thinknot (talk) 16:18, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Thinknot, generally biographies need more than one source to verify their notability. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 16:24, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- And his discovery of the FMO complex is not enough also? It was mentioned 2500+ times in Google Scholar. Thinknot (talk) 16:29, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Thinknot: And a lay reader of the article will know that how? Articles need to demonstrate the notability of the subject, you cannot assume the reader will have any idea of mentions on google scholar. Please see WP:BASIC. --John B123 (talk) 16:39, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- A lay reader may use the internal link. The article Brian Matthews (biochemist) does not demonstrate notability too? Thinknot (talk) 16:45, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Thinknot: The guidelines for notability are clear. I'm not prepared to enter into an argument over it, if you disagree with them then take it up on the relevant talk pages. The simple fact is that more than one source is required for biographies. --John B123 (talk) 16:52, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- Answer a simple question: is notability of Brian Matthews (biochemist) proven? If it isn't why don't you attack it? There's a tremendous number of articles on scientists that “are notably influential in the world of ideas without their biographies being the subject of secondary sources” (WP:PROF). Criteria 1: The person's research has had a significant impact in their scholarly discipline, broadly construed, as demonstrated by independent reliable sources. The proof for this is signed by several well known scientists (Brian W. Matthews, Daniel C. Brune, Robert E. Blankenship, Raymond Cox and others). Thinknot (talk) 17:10, 3 January 2021 (UTC)

Eilenberg-Maclane spectrum
Hi John B123,
I've got two questions
- Can you add the following topics: "Algebraic Topology", "Topology", and "Homological algebra"
- What changes to the article are needed to remove the banner up top
Thanks, Wundzer (talk) 23:35, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Wundzer, I've added the categories. As a minimum, each section needs a reference at the end of the section. It's perfectly acceptable to reuse existing references if they verify that section. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 23:49, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- Great, thanks for the tip and adding those categories! I'll be sure to include that citation format during my wikipedia writing journey. Wundzer (talk) 04:32, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Wundzer, good luck for the future. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 07:34, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

Hey thanks very much indeed for your suggestions to the article. Full confession - I meant to do it as a draft and I had only recently started it. For some reason it got published. My first article
Nanu Eezhuthassan Sivasankaran. Iam doing some research on elephants from Kerala and found this was the tallest elephant in Asia at his time of death. So I have created the article with a reliable source. Need your attention for improvements Kashmorwiki (talk) 09:52, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

Confeugo
Hello John, nice to see the flag of Genoa on your user page as we share the same flag! I improved the page of Confeugo according to your input by adding information about the latest ceremony that took place on a small scale last December 2020 and I also added four more sources (one is in English as published by the municipality of Genoa). As to this cultural and historical event called Confeugo that takes place in Genoa every year a couple of days before Christmas please allow me to say that - being myself a member of the association A Compagna - it is us, A Compagna, who are the primary source of information as most websites cite us and basically reproduce the same information. - Hi Luenséin, that looks fine now. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 17:39, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

- Hi Kashmorwiki, all good. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 18:37, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for the improvements
Hello John, thankyou for your time. But regading the youtube link you added on Nanu Eezhuthassan Sivasankaran, that video is about another elephant coming under same family. That is, in Kerala some elephants belong to a certain family or temple. And they name them accordingly with the same first name and middle name. I think there are like 4 elephants with the name Nanu Eezhuthassan. Three of the most famous among them are Nanu Sreenivasan, Nanu Sivasankaran and Nanu Shankaranarayanan. That video is about Nanu Shankaranarayanan., But it has mentioned Sivasankaran. So hope that solve the issue Kashmorwiki (talk) 17:47, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
John, this elephant actually had the name Kandampully Balanarayanan and is very well known by that name. Can you please search on this youtube and add the link. Because I actually dont know how to do it. Kashmorwiki (talk) 17:57, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Kashmorwiki apologies, my confusion. Have a look at https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Nanu+Eezhuthassan and see if any of those are suitable. Regards --John B123 (talk) 18:40, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
Are you targeting my articles?
Every single one of my articles has been edited by you and somewhat corrected.
Like on the this page https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zhengdong,_China , You edit the references to remove the only source (Baidu.com), is Baidu, the 4th most used search engine on the internet, not a reliable source?, and to be quite frank, you edit it so it looks like I’m a complete idiot, and it looks like I’ve just not used sources.
Did Wikipedia send you to check my articles? TableSalt342 (talk) 21:17, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- @TableSalt342: I haven't removed references from Zhengdong, China that was another editor, see [5], nor have removed references from any of your other articles. What I have done is tried to improve the articles by adding headings, categories and tagged the pages where there are further issues. --John B123 (talk) 21:34, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- @John B123: I'm terribly sorry about the miscommunication, but can you clarify that Baidu is a reliable source, I know the Chinese are very careful about these things TableSalt342 (talk) 21:17, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- @TableSalt342: Anybody can edit Baidu's encyclopaedia so it's not regarded as a reliable source. --John B123 (talk) 21:47, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

I added the link to the Italian wikipedia, I also discuss the page on the Talk:List of botanists by author abbreviation (A). I asked for help. Brunswicknic (talk) 23:18, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Brunswicknic, what exactly do you want help with? Regards. --John B123 (talk) 17:06, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- John B123, first all apologies, I was terse, bad day yesterday. The article was translated from the Italian wikipedia, I have added a ref to that, but it has notes as refs and I did not know how to "translate" them, also it has a box at the end with links to external wiki and other sites, and again, I haven't worked this type before. May I say I now appreciate that volunteer editors/reviewers/administrators are not responsible for picking up the pieces of incompetent editors. This is of course in tension with our general aim of improving wikipedia. Life is full of contradictions. Again my apologies, I answered in heat, and that was inappropriate. Thank your for your reply and for your work on wikipedia Brunswicknic (talk) 23:26, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- Geez, you were quick, thanks heaps. Snap, I was doing the same ref edits at the same time, so when I went to publish, I got the conflict message. I have learnt some more during the process, thank you for your work. Brunswicknic (talk) 23:49, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Brunswicknic, no problem. Regards --John B123 (talk) 00:02, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
Temple Submissions went to draft
I keep editing and submitting the following drafts and it keeps getting denied. I correct it to what is recommended and have resubmitted them.
There is one other, but I haven't had the time as of yet to edit and resubmit. I wanted to see if I can get the other two submitted in an acceptable manner first.
Dmm1169 (talk) 00:03, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Dmm1169, as per WP:NBUILDING, religious buildings such as temple aren't automatically notable, so have to satisfy WP:GNG. GNG establishes notability by references from independent sources. I think you have established that for Okinawa Japan Temple but not Draft:Cagayan de Oro Philippines Temple. I've moved Okinawa Japan Temple to mainspace. Herbert Morley explorer
Hi John. Is being featured at Bradford Museums [6] suffice of note for Herbert Morley (explorer)?Wil1andar (talk) 20:38, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Wil1andar. The article doesn't really explain why he is notable. I've travelled to many parts of the world, brought things back, sent postcards home (in pre-internet days) but don't claim to be notable. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 20:42, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
- You have a point. Does the updated version improved it?Wil1andar (talk) 20:58, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Wil1andar. It does show some notability so I've removed the tag. However it's rather marginal so I would suggest you expand it further, ideally giving more details of his travels. Regards --John B123 (talk) 21:05, 12 January 2021 (UTC)

Houlton School
Hi there, I don't understand why Houlton School might not be notable. It's as notable as most schools i.e. not. Also you've put a box to say there should be third party references. There are third party references. Sirhissofloxley (talk) 22:42, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Sirhissofloxley, please see WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES. Regards --John B123 (talk) 22:48, 12 January 2021 (UTC)

Maria do Carmo Estanislau do Amaral
John B123, I note the text this talk page starts with, about curating new pages, etc. I apologise for the imposition, but I have created a new page: Maria do Carmo Estanislau do Amaral. It has issues. Could you point me to solutions please. Thank you for your work and contributions. Brunswicknic (talk) 09:59, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
Hi Brunswicknic. A few points: author names in "Selected publications" shouldn't be all capitalised, the "Honours" section needs to be referenced and Wikipedia itself can't be used as a reference (ref no 3). Otherwise it looks good. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 16:35, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
As you know, I have so far only created article only for those elephants which are very famous in Kerala as well as have recieved enough coverage. But another user believe the article I created Chirakkal Kalidasan must be deleted. Please tell your opinion regarding the article. I have already contestes the deletion. Thankyou Kashmorwiki (talk) 13:30, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Kashmorwiki. I agree there are enough sources to show enough notability to satisfy WP:GNG. The admin who deals with this will look at you comments when reviewing proposed deletion. I doubt that they will delete the page. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 16:43, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
Thankyou for the reply John. Happy editing. Cheers Kashmorwiki (talk) 17:10, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
