History of Kenya

[edit]

At History of Kenya you were right about the sock puppet. I looked up Hugo Refachinho, didn't find any hint to sock puppetry, so I thought it was a wrong allegation. I'd suggest to add a link like WP:Sockpuppet_investigations/Hugo_Refachinho/Archive to your edit summary in future cases to avoid confusion. Thanks for your edits. --Rsk6400 (talk) 06:33, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Alright I will look into doing that, I've never done it before WanderingGeeljire 12:48, 1 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sheikh Madar moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Sheikh Madar, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. GPL93 (talk) 14:53, 10 November 2020 (UTC) GPL93 I am in the process of writing the article itself I was just completing the info box. Don't worry that is fine I will do so. WanderingGeeljire 15:10, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Which is why the article was moved to the draft space. You will be able to work on the article there without risk of deletion until the you have completed it. Best, GPL93 (talk) 15:18, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

GPL93 (talk) I've completed it now WanderingGeeljire 17:15, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
Best Somali editor on Wikipedia by far. You've expanded so many Somali pages but there is a lot of work to be done. I'll be watching your success as you contribute by expanding and making Somali pages. Ayaltimo (talk) 11:15, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Ayaltimo (talk) I will continue to keep editing. I wouldn't say I'm the best but I am putting what I know on the pages. Regards WanderingGeeljire 09:24, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Berbera into DP World. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 15:22, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
