dePROD of Paper Tiger Inc.
Hi Atlantic306
I refer to your dePROD of Paper Tiger Inc.
I think my PROD should stand as valid. The earlier PROD in 2007 looks like a fake one. The reason if you look is rather weird. It should have been reverted rather than dePRODed I think.
Comment?
Regards.

Mooyah page
Hello,
I edited the Mooyah Burgers, Fries & Shakes page but my edits were rejected for not being constructive. I'm the vp of marketing for Mooyah and I'd like to make our Wikipedia page more informative and robust, like that of our competitors. Can you provide some guidelines so our edits might be accepted?
Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Burger-fan (talk • contribs) 04:22, 13 July 2017 (UTC)

Backlog update:
- The new page backlog is currently at 18,511 pages. We have worked hard to decrease from over 22,000, but more hard work is needed! Please consider reviewing even just a few pages a a day.
- Some editors are committing to work specifically on patrolling new pages on 15 July. If you have not reviewed new pages in a while, this might be a good time to be involved. Please remember that quality of patrolling is more important than quantity, that the speedy deletion criteria should be followed strictly, and that ovetagging for minor issues should be avoided.
Technology update:
- Several requests have been put into Phabractor to increase usability of the New Pages Feed and the Page Curation toolbar. For more details or to suggest improvements go to Wikipedia:Page Curation/Suggested improvements
- The tutorial has been updated to include links to the following useful userscripts. If you were not aware of them, they could be useful in your efforts reviewing new pages:
- User:Lourdes/PageCuration.js adds a link to the new pages feed and page curation toolbar to your top toolbar on Wikipedia
- User:The Earwig/copyvios.js adds a link in your side toolbox that will run the current page through
General project update:
- Following discussion at Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers, Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Noticeboard has been marked as historical. Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers is currently the most active central discussion forum for the New Page Patrol project. Second look needed
Hi Jimmy.
Would you be kind enough to take a look at O Mon Romzaner Oi Rozar Sheshe? I am not sure about lyrics, and copyvio. At that time, Bangladesh wasnt a country, and there were no rules of any sorts (except religious) in that particular area. Wikipedia's usual beef with lyrics is copyrights. Also, kindly let me know what happens with the article (by pinging me). Thanks a lot in advance. :)

I'm sorry man but I didn't replace the prod I substituted it for prod blp/dated. I'm not sure how you can argue for retention of this page given its content. Are you related to the subject perhaps? Gumsaint (talk) 00:32, 18 July 2017 (UTC)

Two Brothers Pictures
Hi there,
Saw that you had noted the page Two Brothers Pictures as advertisement - just wanted to know if there was a particular section that you felt needed altering? Any guidance would be much appreciated - thank you.
Thanks for the advice - would it make sense to condense the talk about awards to a link on IMDB? It is factual information and many are already listed on the Fleabag wikipedia entry...— Preceding unsigned comment added by SamKier (talk • contribs) 15:14, 20 July 2017 (UTC)
Comment: Re: Your recent reversions
Let me start by thanking you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Nonetheless, I must ask why you reverted my edit of West Haven, Connecticut and New Canaan, Connecticut. I have read the article you indicated and found the following:
"Displayed image size
"Images adjacent to text should generally carry a caption and use the "thumb" (thumbnail) option, which displays the image at a width determined as follows:
A1. For a user not logged in, the width—before any scaling due to upright (see B below)—is currently defaulted to 220px (pixels). A2. For a logged-in user, the width—before any scaling due to upright—is as set in that user's user preferences (and this setting is 220px, unless the user has changed it). B. If the upright parameter is present, then the initial width determined by A1 or A2 is multiplied by the upright scaling factor. This allows article editors to adjust the user's "base" image-size preference, according to the characteristics of a particular image. For example: |thumb|upright=1.4 might be used for an image with fine detail, so that it will be rendered "40% larger than the user generally specified". |thumb|upright=0.75 might be used for an image with little detail, which can be adequately displayed "25% smaller than the user generally specified". "Landscape" images (short and wide) often call for upright greater than 1. Similarly, "portrait" images (tall and narrow) may look best with upright less than 1."
In addition please consider the following from the same page:
Except with very good reason, do not use px (e.g. thumb|300px), which forces a fixed image width. In most cases upright=scaling factor should be used, thereby respecting the user's base preference (which may have been selected for that user's particular devices). When px is used, the resulting image should usually be no more than 500 pixels tall and no more than 400 pixels wide, for comfortable display on the smallest devices "in common use" (though this may still cause viewing difficulties on some unusual displays).
As it stands now the seal of West Haven, Connecticut is barely readable and there is no explanation, nor translation, for the latin motto in the seal (nil desperandum). With that being so, I am at odds for what purpose there was for your reversion. With all due respect, I ask you to re-evaluate your reversion. Of course, I will respect and not reverse your edit until after I read and consider your response to this. I could be wrong and as such I want to give you the benefit of the doubt. I do not want to start an editing war! Thank you! ———→StephenTS42 (talk) 23:28, 20 July 2017 (UTC)

Deleted Page; Adebayo Oke Lawal
Hello Atlantic306,

Edits to JBG SMITH - Section 1.13
Hello - I saw that you recently edited the JBG SMITH article -- thanks for that! For full disclosure, I work for a public relations firm and they are my client. I noticed that the last section of the article is missing quite a bit of information. I took a stab at rewriting it on my talk page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Jamarpr#JBG_SMITH_addition_to_Section_1.13
I'd greatly appreciate you taking a look at what I wrote and updating the JBG SMITH section 1.13 (only if you think it meets Wiki's standards).

About reference from you
Dear Atlantic306
This reply is on the messages you sent me at 23:12 and 23:14, on August 7, 2017, regarding the editing made by Madada Official.
As a person who manages Madada’s official website, I would like to reply to your message, together with my translator, as I am only able to use Japanese. Min Tanaka’s Wikipedia page was edit by Min Tanaka and me last night with our company's interpreter. I fully understood that to edit a page on Wikipedia correctly needs a certain level of the technique. As you said, I am not knowledgeable enough for doing so. But, as a management side of Min Tanaka’s work, we have been very much troubled by so many of all the incorrect information available on the Internet, and especially on English version of Wikipedia, which prestigiously is referred by the people including those he works with overseas. We are aware that Wikipedia is not for commercial use, and we tried to be selflessly informative for the artist’s dedication for the art for the sake of nameless people. We also understand that it is unavoidable at some extent for the incorrect information to be spread, considering his active career for half a century. As you kindly suggested, we will start with the sand box, using Visual Editor for the references, and try to recreate the appropriate version for Wikipedia’s criterion. Thank you so much for kind warning. -- Madada Official (Min Tanaka and Rin Ishihara official company / Madada Inc.)
P.S. I would like to convey my appreciation for your constructive judgement on the editing of Min Tanaka’s page on Wikipedia.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Madada Official (talk • contribs) 07:18, 8 August 2017 (UTC)

Request for Speedy Deletion (Mukesh Hariawala Page)
Hello, Thanks for the inputs on the article.
After seeing how the discussion is going no where and the article is in very bad shape and no more reflects the subject. I had put up article for Speedy deletion but the vandals have reversed it.
If you can please take the steps to DELETE the article completely so it's done and over with permanently and if there is a way to block the vandals from even reversing his delete.
It serves no more purpose on Wikipedia and as the major contributor I have no more interest in saving the article.
Please also prevent the article from being reinstated.

Marking Rebecca Lee (explorer) page for deletion
Hi,
I appreciate you tweaking the image that I've inserted into this page. But I see you've also marked it for deletion in 7 days. Did you see my comment in the article's Talk page? Here's what it said:
To anyone watching this page Rebecca Lee (explorer), I intend to make a series of significant updates to it over the next few days/weeks. I've found a lot of online reference material which will evidence and flesh out this page. I also have access to a close member of her family to ensure general correctness and lack-of-controversy in the updates. I hope the tags for 'stub' and 'no references' will be clearly OK to remove once I'm done. If you have any work in progress that I should be aware of at this time please let me know. Best regards, Luke Reader (talk) 00:04, 20 August 2017 (UTC)
I can see this page has no references and is a stub. Hence my note made yesterday that I'm going to add references and a material. It may take me a week or so to do this - I work full-time and have other commitments.
Please can you either remove the '7-day notice to delete', or at least give me a month and not 7 days? Given that this article was sitting in this state for over a decade, it seems wrong that immediately I begin to fix it the article is marked for deletion! I can assure you the subject matter is a significantly famous individual (for the right reasons) and there is already a small museum in a HK university building in her honor.
Luke Reader (talk) 01:02, 21 August 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, sorry I didn't see your message but added the prod because I saw the article had recently been edited and there was a possibility the issue would be addressed if a prod notice was added. I' ll remove the tag but please add some references as soon as you can as another editor may try to delete it in its current state, thanks Atlantic306 (talk) 01:13, 21 August 2017 (UTC)
Fyi, I've just done the edits I mentioned. Thanks for holding off on the deletion. A lot of referencing from academic and news sites is there now. Luke Reader (talk) 18:59, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
- Great work, that's a major improvement and should secure the future of the article, thanks Atlantic306 (talk) 19:09, 26 August 2017 (UTC)

Hi Atlantic306. Thnaks for the fix. I tried that, with the full size image as a tester, got a error (all that came up was "250x250" or something to that effect in red fonts). Then when I used the full link, it worked, so I then just switched it for the thumb link. But I could see that something was not well — especially the wide border around it. What about that white space in the centre? If we move that gallery further down, what is the 'script' to make the text 'capillary' up and fill in that huge blank square? That I would like to learn. Dear Atlantic306
I have updated the Wikipedia page of the Association of Taxation this week. It is an accurate and fair description of the organisation. I would be interested to learn why you keep reverting the page to an older version, which is now inaccurate. The risk with you changing the page to an old version is that it misleads the public about the ATT today.
Best,

Nomination for Deletion of Page Pushpak Bhattacharyaa
Hello,
Thank you for your review of the page Pushpak Bhattacharyya. Your nomination is based on copyright infringement of the page http://acmbhopal.in/keynote.html. I would like to clarify that I am the same person who wrote that text and sent it to those website owners on behalf of Prof. Pushpak. I am a Research Student working with him. I believe since I wrote the content on both the places it should not be copyright infringement. But, since Wikipedia clearly states the material on Wiki should not be copied. I changed the content and re-instated the page. I got a nomination from you again very recently. I request you to please recant it. I have written the content on both the places and hence there is no copyright infringement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dipteshkanojia (talk • contribs) 17:46, 30 August 2017 (UTC)

Why are you deleting this page?
Hello there, I have just created the page on the Sungai Selangor Dam and it was tagged it for speedy deletion --> This page appears to be a direct copy from http://archive.gamuda.com.my/dams_plant_station_selangor.html
I am sorry but that is a very wrong accusation. Whilst some information on the wikipedia page was referred from the page above (which was part of the Reference), not all information on the page was a direct copy. If only you spent more time comparing both the pages.
Also, even for the portion of the information that was referred from the reference page, I spent time editing and used my own words, hence it was not a direct copy as falsely claimed.
I wish to contest this unilateral decision and would like to ask you to review what you have done and make the necessary correction please. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Walkingkamus (talk • contribs) 16:06, 7 September 2017 (UTC)

For future reference
For pages like Tropical Storm Isaias where there is a draft waiting to be moved, the existing article should be tagged with {{db-move}}, and then the draft can be moved.
In cases like this one there is zero point in moving the article to draft and then G6'ing it. Not the end of the world, but a lot more work for all involved when you do it like that. Primefac (talk) 02:32, 31 July 2020 (UTC)

Bayside at the Embarcadero
Hi Atlantic306. I came across the article Bayside at the Embarcadero while working on San Diego related stubs. It has no citations and it seems to me that the notability is not there, so I was going to do a Proposed Deletion. Also, it appears that it was created by a single-purpose promotional account. I saw that you did some work on it some time ago, so I wanted to check with you first. Let me know what you think. Thanks! Alan Islas (talk) 12:51, 5 August 2020 (UTC)
- It has one reference. Don't have a strong opinion on it but please do a WP:BEFORE to check for reliable sources coverage before prodding, regards Atlantic306 (talk).

Draft:Thomas Wangsmo
Hey, Atlantic306. I saw you had edited the draft for my Wikipedia page, thanks for that. I agree with your edit as well, that is the one portion I referenced when I mentioned the possibly biased part, even if it was essentially a quote from another article. I've been considering redusing or removing it from the Norwegian article as well. But, what I was actually wondering is about the infobox. I tried editing it so that it fetches the information automatically from Wikidata, but couldn't get it to work. It works fine on the corresponding Norwegian Wikipedia article, getting the info from https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q17113810. Since I couldn't get it working I just left it as it was, but updated the image again, so it is displayed. There was some confusion regarding the copyright for my headshot image, which is now resolved. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to review this article. - No problem, wikidata is not something I know much about except it is not encouraged on the English Wikipedia by a lot of editors because it can contain unverified information, regards Atlantic306 (talk) 18:59, 12 August 2020 (UTC)

Dear SIR, Thank You for your valuable suggestion but if u feel it's autobiographical you can help. I have added more references with the page . You mentioned BELOW OBJECTION sir but I dont think so . The overall tone of the article gives the impression that you are engaged in self-promotion. If you find something wrong with the content overall page information. Please help me in correcting it . Thank You .

Request for Review
Hello, Atlantic306, I had created a wikipedia draft and submitted it. Its has not been reviewed for almost 3 months. Please could you help me and review the draft https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Adeeb_Ahamed. Thank you very much. (Kuruvillac (talk) 14:47, 17 August 2020 (UTC))
Sorrow3
Hi! Could you help me? I believe that Special:Contributions/Sorrow3 is the same guy as Special:Contributions/Wellring, because Sorrow3 added promotional content in Melsoft Games in enwiki and ruwiki and Wellring was creating tons of PR about Melsoft Games and related topic in ruwiki (ru:Special:Contributions/Wellring), thus he is obvious undisclosed paid editor. Is it possible to do anything with this guy? I would file a request on WP:RfCU, but he does not seem to break WP:SOCK, just creating PR content. Wikisaurus (talk) 00:18, 18 August 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, have the same suspicions and it was investigated at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Bodiadub/Archive at the bottom section but the results were inconclusive. Will have another look tomorrow, regards Atlantic306 (talk) 00:27, 18 August 2020 (UTC)
