Question
How come my ability to get 1b1 and data with lbl to come up on the Inofobox character list is gone?!
- MorticiaVibes, are you using 1b1 or lbl? It should be lbl like label. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:18, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
Hi AngusWOOF,
While reviewing all the episodes of the amazing miniseries, The Queen's Gambit, I noticed all of the primary actors had wiki pages, except one, Moses Ingram, who played Jolene. She was amazing and certainly deserves her own page. I created one, but then later found an abandoned draft, so I replaced it with my draft. Totally new and retrofitted, I'm sure you'll like the added references and the layout. Could you please give it your editor's view on this, make any suggestioins, and approve it for submission?
Thanks,
Not sure if the tilde's work here (my first post to a user page, besides my own, which is pretty stark).
DarlArthurS
DarlArthurS DarlArthurS 19:04, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
- DarlArthurS, see WP:TOOSOON and WP:ENT, she needs to have multiple lead roles in lead productions, and so far only has Queen's Gambit. So if you can find more articles that show her notability despite that, then that will help. Compare with Olivia Rodrigo whose page didn't become official until she had her second lead role in High School Musical the Musical TV series. You need to remove Fandom (website)/Wikia and IMDb from the references as they are user-generated sources. Dig up other news articles that focus on Ingram's career. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 19:13, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
Thanks Angus, appreciate the feedback. She has one film about to be released and another in the making, so I'll update her page when those become public. And I'll remove the IMDB and Fandom references, didn't realize that user generated sources aren't accepted. That's a bit meta though. :)
DarlArthurS DarlArthurS 20:07, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
Hi there, you have declined this article on the basis of not meeting notability requirements, based on what you declare to be an insufficient number of reviews and articles.
I have to say that I don't understand your reasoning here. Three references isn't enough to start a stub article? The game is approaching five million plays on Newgrounds alone in under three months - claiming it's not a notable title doesn't seem supported by that evidence.
Please provide your reasoning and thresholds as to required coverage, and/or others of authority/agency possibly to appeal this case to? Thank you!
ProfessorWeebish (talk) 03:22, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- ProfessorWeebish, you need to provide reviews of the games from those articles and use video game websites as listed on the reliable section of WP:RSP. Newgrounds is self-published so you can't use that as one of your references that shows notability. Tech Raptor hasn't been vetted as reliable. That leaves the BC news article and Polygon. The review should be described in the reception section not just a note saying it's been covered by Polygon. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 15:04, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_181#TechRaptor
- This is a fair response. There are no other reviews of the game yet. Nevertheless it has indeed broken 5m views in three months, I believe it has to be considered a notable title.
- What exactly would it take for you to approve this article as a stub? Can you assist me in making the necessary edits and changes, as a learning experience for me?
- Thanks so much!
- ProfessorWeebish, the reviews need to be expanded upon, like saying: (critic) of (magazine/website) wrote that: (criticism of subject, both good and bad). (Critic 2) of (magazine 2) said: ... If there are game review websites from the Reliable section of WP:VG/RS, those will help. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 15:24, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Creative Commons photo (Esmé Weijun Wang)
Hello! Thank you for your keen eye on the photo change. I think I was confused about how to do the Wikimedia Commons attribution (I am the photographer; I had added it to Wikimedia Commons myself with as open of a CC as I thought was possible, but I am not extremely tech-savvy and may have done it incorrectly when I put it on the subject's page.) Nightkoolaid (talk) 00:30, 7 February 2021 (UTC)nightkoolaid
- Nightkoolaid, I suggest checking with Wikipedia:Contact us/Article subjects about emailing submitting photos so that you can give the proper permission? It's harder if it's already copyrighted and widely used by her website, but if you have other photos, that might help. If you have taken photos of her at a public event, then that's probably easier to share. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 02:31, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
The Page You Previously Reviewed
Hi AngusWOOF, I saw you reviewed the page I created. Following your advice, I added a great number of new reliable outside neutral sources. The professor is very highly revered in the Druze community and the information I provided is all backed up by proper outside references. I would appreciate it if you accept this draft since it is important for the Druze community to acknowledge their highly revered scholars and pioneering women. Thank you for your time. Unreliable sources?
Hello: I just submitted a piece about Andrew John Lawler -- which was rejectetd in under 5 minutes for "unrelaiable sources." How are these unreliable? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Will Swaim (talk • contribs) 23:26, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
- Will Swaim, you need to connect the references to the article. Leaving them like [4] and [5] isn't right. Also they need to go into better detail on his career, and not just be a press release / news announcement. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 23:30, 14 February 2021 (UTC)

Proper AFC discussion nesting?
Hey Angus, you have more experience in this area than I do. Is there a proper way to have a nested discussion in an AFC? I just looked at two dozen randomly selected ones at Category:Pending AfC submissions and can't find any examples. If you look at Draft:Ashuddhi, I attempted to have a discussion with the sockpuppet, er, the article creator, but when the draft was declined, the AFCH software moved around some of the discussion, which leads me to believe that I wasn't using correct formatting. Are the bullet-indents the problem? Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:54, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- Cyphoidbomb, I'm not sure there is. You could make sure each comment in the discussion was generated by AFCH and then the time stamps would sort themselves out. Otherwise, it might be worth moving discussions to the talk page? AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 21:00, 8 February 2021 (UTC)

Article on General Collective Intelligence
I would like to dispute your comment. Artificial Intelligence is to Collective Intelligence what Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is to General Collective Intelligence (GCI). AI has its own wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artificial_intelligence , as goes AGI https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artificial_general_intelligence . Doesn't this suggest that GCI requires its own page as well? GCI is collective cognition, a radically different concept from a collective decision-making tool. If its not clear why the concept is radically different then I need to change the article to clarify the difference. But putting them in the same article obfuscates the truth. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CognitiveMMA (talk • contribs) 21:17, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
- CognitiveMMA, you need to discuss this at the talk page for Collective Intelligence and see if it's worth splitting that off as a separate article. Also get input from the editors from the g factor article and related WikiProjects. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 21:20, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
So what is the process for getting approval by that decentralized group of editors to split this topic into a separate page? Is there a vote? Is a quorum of endorsements required? If there is no process then there is no possible way to reliably succeed. If there is no possible way to reliably succeed that suggestion amounts to a permanent veto. As for the mention of the individual intelligence factor "g", that was only mentioned to draw an analogy with the general collective intelligence factor "c". It's not key to the article.CognitiveMMA (talk) 21:31, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
- CognitiveMMA, you should discuss with the editors at talk:Collective intelligence about whether the c factor, which is discussed in detail in the Collective intelligence article, should be split off from Collective intelligence. But yes there would need to be consensus. I'm not sure how different your article is any different from the sections that already discuss general collective intelligence and c factors. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 21:39, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
- CognitiveMMA, if you are associated with any of those researchers in the field in any way, you may have to declare COI. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 21:40, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
I'm not associated with the editors of the collective intelligence wikipedia page in any way.CognitiveMMA (talk) 13:17, 13 February 2021 (UTC)
- CognitiveMMA, I meant the researchers in the CI field as named in the articles, not the wikipedia editors. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 10:51, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
I looked up the wikipedia rules on conflict of interest. There is no conflict of interest in citing peer-reviewed sources, even if from the writer of an article. The only potential conflict is in citing one's own work and no one else's, which is clearly not the case.CognitiveMMA (talk) 11:21, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
- CognitiveMMA, I've posted split requests to the related WikiProjects. Hopefully they can give you some feedback on the article/draft. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 18:57, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for doing so. If there is no feedback, how long before the article can be approved?CognitiveMMA (talk) 21:16, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
- CognitiveMMA, in the meantime, if you can identify your three best sources that use the term per WP:THREE, then that will help. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 22:17, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
Can you please remove your comments stating that the article should be placed within the "Collective Intelligence" article, or at least add a comment stating that the issue as to whether the article should be combined with that article has been discussed and that feedback has been solicited from the community and that no one has objected? The comment that you have place on the article that it has been declined and that it should be merged with "Collective Intelligence" is very misleading to anyone else who might edit the article. There is no clear indication of all the discussion and solicitation of consensus that has gone on. If it was of concern to not split off the topic of General Collective Intelligence from Collective Intelligence because of the fear of potentially being misleading, it should be of TREMENDOUS concern that the publication of such an important article should be impeded by such a misleading omission. And yes General Collective Intelligence is that important. The School of Collective Intelligence (which I'm not affiliated with) has called this area the most importance science of the century. My analysis says its even more important than that. Yet people are being barred from even learning about its existence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CognitiveMMA (talk • contribs) 12:11, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
- CognitiveMMA, you can resubmit it and see if another AFC reviewer is willing to review it for what it currently is. Maybe someone on AFC can determine better if it should be a separate topic. It still reads like a subset of the CI topic to me. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 22:57, 20 February 2021 (UTC)

Hi there. How are you doing? Could you please read out my post on the talk page of One Piece regarding updating the number of chapters and volumes of the main article into 1002 chapters and 98 volumes which the series has up to date? After reading it, do the change on the article or ask someone else to do it, please. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.195.107.55 (talk) 15:09, 4 February 2021 (UTC)

Draft:Zero to Three
Hi AngusWOOF, I noticed you and another editor provided feedback on the Zero to Three draft page submission https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Zero_to_Three and it was not successful in updating the content to be adequately sourced and verified. I've updated the submission to see if we can salvage the draft and work with you to get additional feedback. I've drafted in my Sandbox and was wondering if you could take another look and see if we can't try to work on doing a better job with what we suggested to the community. Thank you! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:LucyArn/sandbox LucyArn (talk) 17:15, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
- LucyArn, as per the other editor it needs to sound less like promotional material and needs to be written neutrally. It shouldn't have mission statement verbiage. Also it should be supported by external news sources independent of the subject. See WP:NCORP. You can still edit the draft in its original location. Hey AngusWOOF, I did some changes to the Eva's article. Can you check it again? I'll continue developing the article. --Palaangelino (talk) 14:01, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
- Palaangelino, how is she meeting WP:MUSICBIO? I don't see any charting or major reviews/news articles, just a few announcement-like blurbs from random websites. Are there writeups from Toronto Star, CBC, Exclaim. Music Canada, Billboard Canada? You don't need to list every song she's released, just the major ones that she has promoted as a single.
- Try https://www.billboard.com/music/Eva-Shaw/chart-history. Assuming that's the same artist, she would have one song that made a Billboard chart. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 16:00, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
- Palaangelino, you may want to consider splitting the charted from the non-notable singles as with Hard Rock Sofa. "Get Down" also shows charting on the Ultratop that you can add in. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 16:09, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
- Ok thanks! I'll check her discography. And yes, I know and I added a CBC news just now. So if your notability value is charts, thank God, she made it before. Adding to these she worked with major artists like Calvin Harris, Poo Bear, Shaggy, Rihanna, David Guetta etc. And performed at major venues I can list here as well, also worked with major companies like Spinnin', Sony etc. As I said I'll continue developing her article in time. And let's be constructive and collaborative, instead being destructive as a Wikipedia community. That's why I'm open and waiting your editings to her article as well. Thanks for your understanding, time. --Palaangelino (talk) 16:19, 24 February 2021 (UTC)

- And finally, WP:MUSICBIO says "at least one of these" sir. Check it again to not make wrong decisions in the future. --Palaangelino (talk) 16:27, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
- Palaangelino, you need to include that charting into the article and discuss that in the lead paragraph. See NorthSideBenji which explains his music notability in the lead paragraph (certified Gold on Music Canada). AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 16:32, 24 February 2021 (UTC)

- Palaangelino, just because the charting exists doesn't mean it's ready to be accepted. According to WP:MUSICBIO "To meet Wikipedia's standards for verifiability and notability, the article in question must actually document that the criterion is true." So that's why I suggested you put that in the lead paragraph and cite it to Billboard. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 16:34, 24 February 2021 (UTC)

Draft:Zyter notability and neutral point of view
Hello AngusWOOF,
I have been working on this Draft:Zyter quite a while making this article neutral. It would be highly appreciable if you could take a quick look and provide your valuable comments further, so it can move forward.

Draft:Junk Kouture
Hi AngusWOOF, thank you for your message on my talk page. I have been working on the Draft:Junk Kouture page over the past couple of weeks, as it's a competition I have discovered recently and noticed that it didn't have a Wikipedia page. I contacted the organisation for information from them to build the page, and have constructed it as impartially as possible with a wide range of links and references. It's currently up for 'review' again, so I'm hoping you may be able to help with it. Thanks again. Rpjjk46Rpjjk46 (talk) 09:00, 2 March 2021 (UTC)
- Rpjjk46, you shouldn't need to contact them. In fact, you should be able to write up about the organization without using any of their website or corporate profiles. A lot of the information in the article is unreferenced at this point and needs to be connected to external news articles. I would cut down on that detail and make it a stub article that just has the basics so it can be shown it has notability. Please read WP:NCORP and WP:THREE. We need three good external news sources independent of the subject. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 14:30, 2 March 2021 (UTC)
Draft:Deb Liu
Hi AngusWOOF, I wasn't sure how to communicate with you directly. Hopefully, this is the right way to do so? My intention in creating the Deb Liu stub was just to get the page started so that others could contribute and flesh things out. I tried to follow your instructions by adding additional news sources and incorporating content from those sources. Is the issue now that I need to make the tone feel more neutral? Or do I still need additional sources as well? Thanks for your help. I'm still new to Wikipedia, but I'm trying to learn. --Ramani42 (talk) 02:16, 23 February 2021 (UTC)
- Ramani42, I would try to find better sources that aren't primaries (not Q&A interviews) / press releases. Also, reorganize the job duties outside of the current ones in chronological order. Also if there are secondary articles that cover Liu in detail, that can help. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 18:45, 23 February 2021 (UTC)
Thank you for your help, AngusWOOF. I have taken an additional pass at the draft. I reorganized the job duties to be chronological and added additional references. Does the Deb Liu draft look good enough to resubmit now? --Ramani42 (talk) 22:29, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- Ramani42, yeah, I think that will work as a stub. Thanks for your reorg effort. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 00:51, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
@AngusWOOF: Thank you, I just clicked resubmit!

North American (Hockey) League
The problem with the NAL was that there just aren't many sources for it at all, outside of a few newspaper articles that apparently aren't available on Newspapers.com. As far as "notability" goes, well, they only played two (maybe four) games. Still, I think it warrants being mentioned on Wiki, since they did play some games. (Many sports leagues never get off the ground at all!) Dr Clyde Crashcup (talk) 02:31, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- Dr Clyde Crashcup, newspapers can be cited; they don't have to be archived at newspapers.com, but it should try to have a number of different reliable sources independent of the subject. If it were the predecessor of a later league then it can be redirected there and discussed in its formation and background. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 16:07, 3 March 2021 (UTC)

Draft:Wasabi (Little Mix song)
Hi! The only source I can find that shows Wasabi charted on New Zealand is the Official Website. I can't find any news article that specifies that the song charted in the lead paragraph. How would that be?
GabbyManahan01 (talk) 10:17, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
- GabbyManahan01, I meant that to show that the song is notable, you should add that it charted at the RMNZ chart in the lead paragraph. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 23:00, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, just edited the article. I hope I did it right? Hoping that what you meant was the title of the reference. Thank you!

Hello I need assistance on the article I am making. First, I am new when it comes to Wikipedia, and its very sad that every time I submit the article it always turned out wrong or something missing.
I understand the reasons of the admins and being patient to meet all the requirements, hopefully.

= Draft:Rima Khachatryan article== AngusWOOF,
I've reviewed the text, edited contents considering your remarks, edited links and added photos, like photos of Armenia president awarding Dr. Khachatryan. Please consider looking through the page. Thank you in advance. NikNar555 (talk) 17:10, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
- NikNar555, it seems to have been too promotional and needs a complete rewrite. Also, per WP:COI, please disclose if you are associated with the professor in any manner. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 06:50, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- Dear AngusWOOF,
- Thank you very much indeed for your time and comments.
- I do confirm, that I have no relationship (family, friend, client, employer, financial and any other) with Rima Khachatryan. I have just read her books and articles about her, that have been published in Armenia after her death.
- The two main causes made me to prepare the article for Wikipedia (that are in line with the Wikipedia requirements), are:
- 1. She received the highest award in Armenia for teachers - Honorary Title of "Honored Pedagogue" (very few teachers receive this),
- 2. She authored and published two textbooks, that have been key learning sources for state medical colleges of Armenia since 2007-2009 (and they still are now).
- Anyhow, I've rewrote significant amount of the article, removed bullet points, excluded some personal data, that may distruct from the topic, and added some appropriate categories. I am ready to edit the article per your request, and I will highly appreciate it if you find it possible to provide with some brief instructions on what parts (or statements) still should be changed.NikNar555 (talk) 12:25, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- Dear AngusWOOF
- I have edited the last version once again. The text was shortened, several chapters were combined into one to make the article more informative..NikNar555 (talk) 09:44, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
- Dear AngusWOOF,
- It's been a month since my previous message. I've edited the page considering your previous concerns and suggestions, added photos of Armenia president rewarding her, removed some pieces that might have looked like advertisement like you mentioned before. This is a friendly reminder to recheck the page Draft:Rima Khachatryan. Thank you in advance, NikNar555 (talk) 08:40, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
Request on 13:34:54, 8 March 2021 for assistance on AfC submission by LBLB2021
Hello, I would like to follow up on the rejected article submission -'UK Passion Plays'https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:UK_Passion_Plays. My submission was a page split from an existing page which was getting too long and too messy 'Passion Plays'. Your recommendation was to issue a split request on the existing page, which I have done. Another user said it was a good idea and to go ahead with it. I also note that another page has already been split away - 'Sri Lanka Passion Play'. Please can you review the request. Once it is live, I will edit that material from the existing page with appropriate links to the new page. Thank you.
LBLB2021 (talk) 13:34, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
- LBLB2021, two things that stand out from this:
- 1. Are you moving the entire origins in the United Kingdom section off the Passion play article? This looks like a content fork of the material there. Can you gain consensus on where that belongs?
- 2. The lead sentence and paragraph should describe how the Passion plays are done in the UK. I don't see any mention of UK in the lead.
AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 15:03, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
Thank you for looking at this page again and your notes which I have followed up. The new UK Passion Play page has a new focus on UK in the lead sentences/paragraph. The material on UK Passion Plays has been summarised and removed from Passion Play page and moved to new 'UK Passion Plays' page. Information directing people to new UK Passion Plays page has been added to existing Passion Play page. Consensus requested on the talk page of Passion Plays and user responses have been affirmative. Also reference the 'Sri Lanka' Passion Play Wiki page which is a similar split and content fork from existing Passion Play page. Please review the new page at your convenience. Thank you again for your help.

Paper.io Issue Response
Two years ago that was for the deletion discussion. It's not popular now but I guess no one wants history? Also this one isn't the same as the one two years ago. This originally was a redirect to Voodoo. After the draft got changed since it wasn't notable. The No Redirect version, it was made because I had to add the new references with a new draft. That got declined. It's now a redirect to Draft:Paper.io, which redirects to this. The page had already had a merge, but since then I moved it here. Paper.io 2 was the merge by the way. Paper.io is now a series for this article. Paper.io 2's draft I changed to redirect to the draft paper.io, so it goes here. It's messy, so check the revision history for help. I'm the same dude(I didn't make the paper.io 2 draft). 109.145.122.103 (talk) 14:21, 13 March 2021 (UTC)

Re-creating the article Dog harness - closing of a splitting discussion
Hi there, after a number of neutral opinion there is now one more opinion (apart from mine) that favors the (re-)creation of the article that is titled Dog harness. Can you close this splitting discussion after this many weeks at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Pet_harness so Draft:Dog_harness can become an article? Is there anything we have to wait for before it can happen? Is there anything I could add or do to make it happen? Can you help in deleting the redirection of Dog harness and re-creating the article based on the draft I made? Thank you for your help! Repassyz (talk) 16:17, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
- Repassyz, I've requested CSD on the Dog harness redirect. When that clears I can approve the article. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 18:54, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, thank you for your help and support! Repassyz (talk) 12:09, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
- Repassyz, please try to fill in better content with supporting references. The article had to get condensed and cleaned up a lot, and many editors don't think it should stay around. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 14:20, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

I was surprised to see this draft marked for deletion, given the NYT profile and the numerous places elsewhere on Wikipedia in which Caldwell's name appears in the listed cast. Advice regarding Draft:Neos (content management)
Thank you for the review,
i understand the request to fork the Neos article from the TYPO3 article as this is how Neos originally was created. However this was 6 years ago and the TYPO3-Neos section in the TYPO3 Article is completely outdated and misleading nowadays. I see no point in splitting this but can take care of adjusting the Neos part of the TYPO3 Article once a Neos Article is published. How shall i proceed here?
Regarding the sources i could use some advice as much of the original informations is published on neos.io. I added other sources where possible but the primary source is mostly the same. I think this is a problem many open source projects have. Can you give me a hint what kind of sources would help.
Kopfaufholz (talk) 15:03, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- Kopfaufholz, that's why I suggested updating the TYPO3 article first. If the TYPO3 version is outdated, it can be improved to reflect its history with Neos. It can then have a hatnote to the separate article, but the point is to get agreement first on whether a separate Neos article is even needed, hence the split request. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 15:15, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
Thank you I now requested a split on the TYPO3 Article. As you suggested. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kopfaufholz (talk • contribs) 15:58, 26 March 2021 (UTC)

I'm referring to your edits on the Cristina Vee filmography page. Perhaps I was too hasty to add it now, but... Frguida - Edit page Italian Masonic International Order - Mars 21 2021
Angus WOOF wrote to me that "The references of this submission do not show that the topic qualifies for a Wikipedia article, i.e. they do not show significant coverage (not just passing quotes) on the topic in published, reliable and independent secondary sources. from the subject ", but I have indicated independent references (newspapers and books) in Italian, as well as necessary references to the statute of the association. If you ask me for bibliographic references in English I cannot publish anything on this subject because they do not exist at this time. But I must point out that this topic has already been published in Italian and Spanish. I believe it is important that it is also published in English because it is a new form of association completely different from all the others. I am attentive to your suggestions for improving the text and I ask you to delete the page elaborated on December 4th. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.40.193.159 (talk) 11:26, 22 March 2021 (UTC)

- 93.40.193.159, 1) Vanessaseffer.it appears to be a blog 2) Catena.org is a primary source - masonic website 3) opinione.it appears to be a Q&A interview, mostly primary source Do you have any others that give significant coverage and are independent of the subject? AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 14:50, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
the sources you mentioned are not primary sources because they make synthesis, analysis of a primary source. It is true that they are few and weak but it is also true that the object they deal with (traditional Italian Masonic Order) is recent even if important in the Masonic panorama. Also, the primary sources I mentioned are verifiable. Apart from these notes, I ask you to suggest me how I can overcome the difficulties to publish the text with the available resources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.40.193.159 (talk) 10:43, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- 93.40.193.159, you need secondary sources independent of the subject. Catena.org still makes it appear like they're associated with this organization. This would be like if Disney wrote an article about a Star Wars novel; they certainly didn't work on the actual details of producing and publicizing it, but because they're strongly associated with the Star Wars brand, there is apparent conflict-of-interest with discussing it. So if you have other secondary sources, please present those on the talk page and add a note so that AFC reviewers can see that. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:24, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
Request on 15:49:08, 24 March 2021 for assistance on AfC submission by 静けさ
I am requesting assistance because you are the one that reviewed my Draft. I feel that is logical is it not?
Hello, I am requesting assistance because you are the one that reviewed my Draft. I would like to ask did you check all of the sources? I had the Verge A fox media company as one of my sources. 静けさ (talk) 15:49, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- 静けさ, The main problem is that you provided any external news sources about the subject that are independent of the subject. See WP:ANYBIO or WP:BASIC. You also should not use any youtube videos as sources as those are primary. That's over two-thirds of the sources posted on the draft. That's way too many and doesn't help notability. It also does not need a play-by-play of each match of the week. That is excessive detail, and is considered routine news coverage WP:ROUTINE, even for e-sports people. Those sections need to be removed. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 16:52, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
静けさ (talk) 03:57, 25 March 2021 (UTC)静けさ Thank you!

I have expanded this further. Would you like to do another AfC review? --Kailash29792 (talk) 15:49, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
- Never mind. I moved it myself. Kailash29792 (talk) 04:49, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
- Kailash29792, the notability for this actor is borderline for WP:ENT. The lead paragraph should describe her most prominent / starring roles in major productions, but if you have detailed newspaper and magazine coverage of the person then that should keep it from going to AFD. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 16:13, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
Yes, and now the article has at least 20 sources. I'm still keeping a lookout for more third party coverage and interviews of her. A lot is expected to come in the coming weeks since she has joined The CW's Batwoman but has not yet appeared onscreen. Kailash29792 (talk) 16:16, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

Yes, I have cited the Moveable Feast article: http://moveablefest.com/vanishing-angle/ Thank you again for your feedback. Lauracoover (talk) 16:20, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
- Lauracoover, that seems like a random website/blog. Are there others? They need to be unrelated to the subject (not connected production companies, not film festivals that featured the film). AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:18, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
Hi AngusWOOF, I understand your concern. I do want to point out that The Moveable Fest (moveablefest.com) was established in 2011 and has published thousands of reviews, interviews, and articles since. Editor in chief Stephen Saito is an L.A.-based writer whose work has been published in The L.A. Times, Premiere, and IFC.com. If you have a moment to review the content of the publication, you will see the subjects of the interviews and coverage include world class filmmakers and directors. I believe this source has strong legitimacy. While these articles go into less depth on the history of Vanishing Angle, they may be more legitimizing due to name recognition. Additional sources I could add as citations include: https://www.sundance.org/case-studies/creative-distribution/thunder-road https://deadline.com/2019/06/vanishing-angle-executive-promotion-umc-his-hers-and-the-truth-tilda-del-toro-the-green-room-1202631543/ https://variety.com/2020/film/news/vanishing-angle-jim-cummings-the-beta-test-1234646973/
Thank you again for your time and guidance. Lauracoover (talk) 17:24, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- Lauracoover, those will help. The case study thing is interesting and could use a paragraph about it. Deadline.com seems to be more a personnel executive announcement. Can you find some more that go into the history of the company and its founding. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:35, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
Draft:The Dust Coda
Hi AngusWOOF,
Hope you're OK! Thank you for reviewing the Draft page for The Dust Coda on 21 October 2020 ([1]).
Today, The Dust Coda's second album entered the Official Albums Chart Update at #11[2][3], so I have now updated the page with this info and it now aligns with your comment for proving the band's notability ("Please indicate how this band meets WP:NMUSIC with charting.")
If you catch the time, could you please review the page once more and see if it is worthy of being published? Thank you very much for your time. SunGarden12 (talk) 17:19, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

Thank you for the prompt and helpful review. Regarding the band's notability, CMJ New Music Report was in fact the national chart for College Rock in the 1980's. As noted in the article, X-teens was in CMJ's top 100 for both Progressive Radio and College Radio in 1984. This would seem to satisfy criteria #2 in Criteria for musicians and ensembles. In addition, the numerous "non-trivial" published works noted under Critical Reviews and Charts would seem to satisfy criteria #1.
Nedrum (talk) 19:12, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
- Nedrum, CMJ isn't a recognized national chart on WP:CHARTS. College newspaper/magazine reviews don't count towards notability. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 19:19, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
Angus, numerous nationally published reviews in notable (non-college and non-local) magazines are listed. Nedrum (talk) 19:55, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
In addition, the music video Change Gotta Come was put in rotation on MTV, as reported in Billboard's "Video Music Programming, MTV Adds & Rotation" section, as referenced in the article. This meets criteria #11. Nedrum (talk) 22:30, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
- Nedrum, please indicate that in the comments section of the article or the talk page so that other AFC reviewers can see it. Also you might want to ask Bkissin to review the article as it was considered close to being ready. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 23:42, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

On Draft:Nebula_(streaming_service) rejection: "Needs more than just Tubefilter"
I realize there are 4 sources from TubeFilter, but also has one recent one from BBC. Would removing some of the TubeFilter sources help? Sadly this company is bigger in subscribers and recognition than many streaming services, just has little press around it, so WP:Notability standards may be hard.
Lefton4ya (talk) 14:53, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- Lefton4ya, do they give significant coverage on the subject? It seemed like James Hale was writing most of the Nebula coverage. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 15:22, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- Lefton4ya, he might have conflict of interest. See https://sec.report/Document/0000899243-20-016411/ Actually that could be another James Hale and the company he is part of is a Nebula acquisition group. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 23:34, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
From what I gather from /r/WatchNebula TubeFilter just seems to like what Nebula is doing and has a good repour with Dave Wiskus the CEO of Nebula so they send TubeFilter thier press blurbs and TubeFilter actually follows up with them. Does not seem like any paid relationship or conflict of interest but maybe just favoritism because they get along (the same can be said of media reporters at many press outlets having a favorite director/writer/studio/website etc they have professional repour with). The BBC article, however is very notable and significant coverage to satisfy WP:Notability IMHO, but is just once source. Lefton4ya (talk) 21:39, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
Thanks For Being Vigilant
The Draft:Nengi is probably the seventh iteration now. Prior this current iteration, there was Draft:Rebecca Nengi Hampson, created by Justice Faith (they weren’t pinged) and prior that, there was this. There was also a time the draft article was G11 speedy deleted. Of course there are so many of such which have thus far been created by SPA's & I can’t remember them all. There even could be more than seven iterations if I dedicate time to unearth them all. At some point the title and its variations would have to be salted. Celestina007 (talk) 11:17, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
- Celestina007, I merged three other draft pages to this one. Hopefully they can clean these up. Is she notable from the beauty pageant wins? I don't see much beyond the appearance on the Big Brother show. Was there a MFD or AFD involved? AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 14:24, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
- There could have been an AFD involved but i really can’t remember, what I do remember is the draft article declined severally at AFC. About her notability status, she definitely isn’t notable, asides the big brother, there isn’t any other significant thing, the beauty pageant is negligible at best. Her case is very much similar to & mirrors that of Draft:Erica Nlewedim who both have their claim to notability chiefly as having participated in the Big brother reality Tv show and their inconsequential participation in beauty pageants, and winning non notable paid for awards. Tbh, anybody experienced Nigerian editor creating articles on both subjects are engaging in undisclosed paid editing. Celestina007 (talk) 15:08, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
Conan Changes for names
I'm sorry if I was doing the editing wrong but it really should have the Japanese names for the characters as the links and the main names for the characters. It's a Japanese manga so to use the English translations of the names is just insulting the creator as those are the names they chose. If they have popular names in other languages than, yes, they should be sourced in the wikipedia but the fact that the entire wikipedia implies that Jimmy Kudo (and every English translation of the names) is the original name of the character and not Shin'ichi Kudo is just wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AlcyoneBlack (talk • contribs) 20:28, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
- AlcyoneBlack, please see the talk pages for the manga. This was a decision made years ago to go with the names per the English media. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 20:29, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
I read it and people over there actually DO agree we should be using the Japanese names. Just because it's a big userbase to use the English names doesn't mean it's right. I mean a lot of manga/anime pages use the Japanese names and source the English popular names with no problems. What has been done is confusing to anyone who actually does know the original source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AlcyoneBlack (talk • contribs) 20:39, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
- AlcyoneBlack, the fact that it IS a big publication by a major English manga publisher and major English anime publisher is what is leading to this. It happens with other major titles in English as well. If those operations were little, just a few episodes and volumes to the relative size of the work, then I would agree, but no, they are still making tens of manga volumes. The midweek UK Albums Chart is not the final one
Hi Angus. Just letting you know that you added the midweek UK Albums Chart, not the final one, to OK Orchestra. Most likely, by the end of the week, AJR's album will be lower. I've seen albums debut at 55 on the midweeks and be off the final chart. We don't normally list these in charts sections, and if they ever have been listed in charts sections, they're replaced at the end of the week. That being said, you used a date from 2019 for the chart. Ss112 18:39, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- Ss112, okay we can change it to TBD. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 20:47, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- I've changed it to a commercial performance section, because what you've described is not done on album articles at all. "TBA" for an expectation of a chart position violates WP:CRYSTAL as far as I can tell, because as I explained to you, there is no guarantee of a chart position by the end of the week. We don't list dashes for an absence of a chart position on album articles; we just leave that country out. As I said in my revert summary, it's predictive nonsense that really doesn't tell us anything yet. Please leave the table out until we have a concrete chart position per CRYSTAL and as I've reverted you, WP:BRD. Thanks. Ss112 01:54, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- Ss112, when would it make sense to put in the chart then with a TBA? If other articles indicate it will chart in the top 10 or 5 as with some of these other albums that can come out on OCC? Made in the Pyrex had several OCC articles saying it would chart in the top 5, and it ended up charting at No. 3. Revelacion was also going to chart for sure as highly anticipated. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 01:59, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- I'm not saying a lot of albums don't stay on track after the midweek chart to enter the final chart where they were on the midweek, but even in those cases, adding a whole wikitable to tell us that the album is on track but its final position is currently unknown (or "TBA") is pointless. It's just that a lot of albums that are quite low as to only be at 55 by the middle of the week can (not necessarily will) slip even further when it's quite possible other albums will exceed it in the latter half of the week. I think an explanation of where it is midweek in prose suffices; only final week positions should be in the table and there's no point providing one as a placeholder until then when interested editors add one very easily when the time comes. Ss112 03:11, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- Ss112, this needs to be brought to attention somewhere on WP:CHARTS that OCC and perhaps other sites may post temporary midweek charts like status for all-star balloting in sports or idol competitions. By jumping to that page, there is no obvious indication that the chart shown is temporary and dynamic. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 15:29, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- I'm not quite sure what you're referring to. It's made clear these are midweek charts or not final. The OCC archives their midweek charts using the same date format as all their other charts, so they're not gone forever (if that's what you mean by temporary)—for example, here's last week's midweek "update" chart. It says in the header on the web page that it's the "Albums Chart Update". I maybe get if somebody were not very informed that they think "update" is just the word the OCC uses to refer to their final albums chart, but even then, the smaller text below it explains "The UK's Top 100 official biggest-selling artist albums of midweek". The OCC also makes sure to use language in their accompanying articles that indicate the midweek results are not final—"aiming to", "on track", "challenging for number 1" etc. Ss112 22:45, 31 March 2021 (UTC)

Request on 23:35:24, 2 April 2021 for assistance on AfC submission by Jidenne
Hello, thank you for reviewing the Draft: Nengi efficiently and quickly. This is my first ever attempt at creating a wiki page, and I obviously am enjoying the learning process. I see that you are still editing it. Please, do you think the work is good enough for resubmission now? If you have any suggestions to help me improve the page further, please do not hesitate to highlight them. Thanks for your time. Jidenne (talk) 23:35, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker), @Jidenne, the subject of your draft is on a non notable subject that is known chiefly for only ONEEVENT and clearly does not satisfy WP:GNG, thus, you waste valuable time in further trying to edit the article. In your honest opinion, which notability criteria do you think the subject of your article satisfies? Celestina007 (talk) 23:57, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
- Hello @celestina007, thanks for the feedback. I had thought she would qualify for a page given her achievements post-bbn. Becoming SSA to Bayelsa State Government at 22, appearing as the lead star in Davido’s jowo music video and getting recognised for the role in international media outlets like The Fader, Revolt etc; Becoming the face of notable brands like Guinness and Itel mobile. But since these aren’t notable enough, I guess I would have to look for another subject to write on. I can come back to this when she’s deemed worthy of a page. Thanks once again. Jidenne (talk) 10:46, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Jidenne, Becoming SSA to Bayelsa State Government at 22, that appointment is one that does next to nothing to establish notability for her. appearing as the lead star in Davido’s jowo music video, I’m not what you mean/meant by “lede star” however what she was in that video, was a video vixen & being a video vixen in any music video of any given artist doesn’t establish notability for the subject. Becoming the face of notable brands like Guinness and Itel mobile, endorsements deals do nothing for notability, so yes as you correctly put it, these aren’t enough indeed. Speaking freely, do not mistake popularity/fame for notability, although erroneously used interchangeably they aren’t one and the same. Celestina007 (talk) 12:45, 4 April 2021 (UTC)

- Jidenne, this is comparable to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Symply Tacha who also only appeared in a reality show for a season and didn't win it. Starring in some random music videos doesn't make her notable unless those videos were the breakout role for her career. She would only be considered a video vixen if most news articles describe her as such as her occupation. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 15:36, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for your help @AngusW🐶🐶F @celestina007. How long before the draft is deleted? I hope I can come back to update it when she a notable break away from the bbn tag. By the way, I appreciate the attempt at distinction between fame and notability. It makes perfect sense. I started another one on Stan Nze, I do hope that would scale through. Jidenne (talk) 17:01, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
- Jidenne, if there's no activity for 6 months, it is subject to deletion but can be recovered. Hopefully others don't keep resubmitting the draft though, since that would annoy AFC reviewers and have it nominated for deletion (MFD process) sooner. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:48, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
- Jidenne, you may want to look at celebs like Divya Agarwal where she initially didn't have enough notability as a runner-up on one of the reality television shows, but then won a later contest. She then co-hosted on a number of reality television shows. She also starred or was featured in a number of music videos and was a former beauty pageant winner, but those by themselves weren't that notable prior to the reality show win. Also, there's Olivia Rodrigo who initially had just one starring role on her first show (Bizaardvark), and didn't get a page here until she starred in the second one (High School Musical TV series). Now she's gotten a number one hit and a ton of notability. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:52, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Jidenne, what AngusWOOF told you is spot on! especially with the Symply Tacha example they gave you. In time if she(Nengi) attains true notability an article on her would be retained on mainspace, she is currently having the same problem Draft: Erica Nlewedim has, both are famous for an event they didn’t win, famous? yes! notable? not in the very least! An example you may be able to relate to is Bisola Aiyeola, she didn’t win the show or become notable until several years past but eventually she attained notability through her career as an actress. As for the new article you want to create, my honest opinion is I don’t think it would pass our notability test for actors nor our general notability test. The easiest way to know if someone is notable or not is by performing a google search on the person and if you can’t find reliable media discussing the person then chances are the individual isn’t notable just yet. I created this as a rough guide for New page reviewers and Nigerian editors, it may be of help to you. Article creation is not necessarily difficult but it isn’t easy also most especially for new editors, to save you the hell I and most editors here past through during our early stages, my advise to you would be for you to just do more observing and reading, you are barely 8 days old, trust me you have all the time in the world to learn article creation. Have you read WP:YFA? It’s something worth reading over and again if you intend to focus on article creation.Celestina007 (talk) 18:25, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
- Celestina007, that Nigerian sources list looks promising! Can you back up some of those sources with links to discussion archives from WP:RSN? Also indicate if they are mainstream newspapers, magazines, websites, blogs. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 18:59, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
- Definitely, i had been thinking of doing just that but unfortunately haven’t got the time to do that in between page reviewing and afc reviewing. Celestina007 (talk) 19:15, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
- Celestina007, another option is to get WP:NIGERIA involved to maintain such a list and share the load. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 01:45, 5 April 2021 (UTC)

Quick note on Draft:List of Genshin Impact characters
Thanks for your edits to Draft:List of Genshin Impact characters.
I had a feeling there would be a problem with the amount of intricate detail this article has. The only notable characters appear to be the ones that are playable and the ones that are crucial to the story line. All the other characters do not really merit mentioning in this article. Aasim (talk) 19:51, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
- You may want to discuss with folks over at Talk:Genshin Impact. That's why I suggested narrowing the focus as with Characters of Final Fantasy XV since it appears to be mostly franchise-original characters. A compact list of essential player and non-player characters that span the entire franchise would be useful. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 20:59, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
Draft:Zero to Three
Hi AngusWOOF, I saw you had provided feedback to LucyArn in February on the Zero to Three draft page submission https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Zero_to_Three that previously did not meet standards for neutrality and notability. I saw LucyArn made substantial adjustments, and I added additional citations as well in an effort to improve the quality of the submission and meet the community guidelines. I wanted to reach out to see if you might be able to provide additional feedback on this draft submission. Thank you very much for your efforts! CameronSays (talk) 17:31, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
- CameronSays, I suggest you talk with Tagishsimon, and also list your three best sources that would meet WP:ORGDEPTH AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 19:45, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF Thank you very much for the guidance. I will do that soon. If I may ask, would it be best to continue the conversation with Tagishsimon here on your talk page, or move it to their talk page? Thank you again. CameronSays (talk) 20:00, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
When you declined it, Witch Hunt already premiered and got released soon after. [1] [2]. Keeping it out of main caused that there's Abigail Cowen(actress) and Abigail Cowen (actress) - hidden by redirs. Also Cowen has 7 interwiki by now. I think you should reconsider, or wait for some Abigail Cowen (actres) or bringing back one of these redired, that are worse then the draft even after I wasted time on upgraing one of them. Hello, I'm PantheonRadiance, a fledgling Wikipedia user. I wished to message you about a draft that you were involved in evaluating over two years ago.
While researching the "Category:NA-importance YouTube articles" I came across a draft of a YouTuber Alpharad which lacked sufficient sources, the only one being an interview from The Meta. From conducting some online searches, I found articles pertaining to Alpharad on sites like Polygon, Dot Esports, OUDaily, ScreenRant, Dexerto, ESports Observer, The Game Haus and Tubefilter. I’m admittedly new to editing drafts of articles, which is why I wanted to inquire if the sources on this draft would be sufficient enough to justify a full Wikipedia page. This draft may be a bit of a stub but I think that with a bit more work this could be a fleshed-out, fully realized article. I merely wrote this to demonstrate that this subject has credibility, as multiple reliable sources have reported on his YouTube videos along with his contributions to the Smash Bros. fighting game community. There was also a scholarly article from a quick Google Scholar search that I didn’t cite yet but if the article gets improved, perhaps I can add that source later. Hi. What could be the best rcat to use for a language interpreter? The interpreter does not have his own article, but he often accompanies a person who does have an article. However, the interpreter's name is not mentioned in that person's article. The closest templates that I could think of are {{R from person}} and {{R to joint biography}}, but they do not accurately describe the interpreter's relation to the person. LSGH (talk) (contributions) 03:20, 28 April 2021 (UTC)

I tried my best to make it as neutral as possible but when I read all the pages of famous personalities it looks like a brag page as we need to highlight the achievement that people had in life or business. Can you support me to clean the page so that it will a neautral page/
Manishthapa1981 (talk) 03:18, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
- Manishthapa1981, is this person notable because he is a wealthy executive? Do external news articles discuss his individual career or are they coming mainly from press releases from the corporate website and promotions? Can you list those news articles on his talk page? It is not clear whether he started the business from the ground up or whether he joined an already successful family business and has a notable share of it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Chuu_(singer) Chuu already has a solo career. Not only releasing a single album, she also acted in a web-drama and she has a YouTube channel. What should we add to have the draft accepted? Thank you. BaaBaaTheSheep (talk) 07:54, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
- BaaBaaTheSheep, the Loona EP where each artist has a "solo album" doesn't count as a solo career. I tried using that for Kim Lip's notability but it didn't work. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 14:20, 3 May 2021 (UTC)

I'm not sure about including "Prince Herb" in "other names." It's a one season joke; makes it seem like Wikipedia is participating in the joke, which is shouldn't. On the other hand, I have no problems with mentioning on the Tenderloins article that it's his current billing name and the origin of it, as that's easily sourced from third-party sources. OhNoitsJamie Talk 01:53, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
- Ohnoitsjamie, this depends mainly on how he will be credited in the regular credits (not opening title cards) section. If they change all his closing credits to Prince Herb then it can stay as an alias, but if it's just the title card then Prince Herb becomes a character name and can be removed. I picture something like "credited as Prince Herb for half of season 9" if it were an entry in the filmography. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 13:51, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
- Ohnoitsjamie,
it may be okay to leave it in as the alias for now as others will continue to try to change the common name to Prince Herb otherwise.AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 14:47, 4 May 2021 (UTC)- Ohnoitsjamie, I'll comment it out from the infobox as with Larry Bud Melman for now and we will wait for credits in July. - MYPETCARP, I suggest reading WP:NCORP and identify 2-3 of the best sources that cover the company/product that aren't press release or promotional material. Also read WP:IBA to see what language to avoid in writing the article. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 13:33, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
I helped create this page and I was marked as a conflict of interest. I don't think I am but I marked myself as one so that the article would be published. Is there any way that the notice will be removed? If someone else edits the page, will the notice be removed? Thank you for your help — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eitan Leff (talk • contribs) 20:48, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
- Eitan Leff, do you have any association with the Award organization, the military organizations, or any of its members, recipients, etc.? Have you been in contact with such folks where it's like "hey I can make (or made) a page for you guys". If you do, then you can declare that and then make edit requests on the talk page from here on out. Same if you were hoping to make the page so you can get better contacts/networking with said group. If you were hired by some organization to make the Wikipedia article, then you need to declare that. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 04:46, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
AngusWOOF, I was not hired or paid to make the page. Does that mean that the warning of the conflict of interest can be removed? Eitan Leff (talk • contribs) 14:26, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
- Eitan Leff, what about the other part where you might be associated with the organizations or people? AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 14:53, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
AngusWOOF, I have spoken with the organization that sponsors the award. If I am a conflict of interest, how could the warning be removed? Eitan Leff (talk • contribs) 18:59, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
- Eitan Leff, I suggest another editor who's not associated with the organizations scrub through it for neutrality. Then they can remove the tag. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 19:00, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
AngusWOOF, thank you. Is there a way to request for someone to edit the page so that they can remove the tag? Eitan Leff (talk • contribs) 18:59, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
- Eitan Leff, there's Guild of Copy Editors. WP:GOCE they have a request section. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 04:58, 17 May 2021 (UTC)

Qustodio (software)
Hi Angus! You just reviewed the Qustodio software page I wrote. I have made some updates per your suggestions. I am not sure what to do to make the references more varied because they are all external and are quite varied from the New York Times, to Bloomberg, to Wired, and the Washington Post. Not sure how to get more external or more varied than that? But I think I did a good job taking out the bolds and the "reception" part with the quotes which you did not think sounded neutral enough.
Let me know and thanks very much for the tips!

Alex Cubis
hi AngusWOOF! Thanks for your edits and improvements on Alex Cubis' page - this source says that he has his own law business, is that enough to reinstate the mention of him being a lawyer? https://www.who.com.au/who-sexiest-people-2020-celebrities Filmtv2001 (talk) @Filmtv2001
- Filmtv2001, I only see articles about his law degree https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/entertainment/arts/parramatta-setting-brings-the-incredible-here-and-now-close-to-home/news-story/75ad8494109524335b0ee0fc0ea18bd7 and the Who Magazine article just says he has a law business. It doesn't say whether he passed the bar (or equivalent in Australia) or where it says he's a full-time lawyer. Some of his self-published material might say that. I would try to put that with references in an Other ventures section. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 02:28, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
Vanishing Angle - Follow up
Hi AngusWOOF,
I found an additional resource for Vanishing Angle: https://www.creativefuture.org/matt-miller/
This dives into detail about the history of the production company. I think this, in addition to the Moveable Fest article (http://moveablefest.com/vanishing-angle/), and the Sundance Case Study, provides strong and credible support for the article. Please let me know your thoughts.
Hi AngusWOOF. I wanted to check in and see if you would be able to approve the Vanishing Angle page with the addition of the citations I mentioned. Please let me know what you think.

Lauracoover, can you list which secondary source references cover the company in detail? AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 16:10, 29 March 2021 (UTC) Yes, I have cited the Moveable Feast article: http://moveablefest.com/vanishing-angle/ Thank you again for your feedback. Lauracoover (talk) 16:20, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
Lauracoover, that seems like a random website/blog. Are there others? They need to be unrelated to the subject (not connected production companies, not film festivals that featured the film). AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:18, 29 March 2021 (UTC) Hi AngusWOOF, I understand your concern.
Lauracoover, those will help. The case study thing is interesting and could use a paragraph about it. Deadline.com seems to be more a personnel executive announcement. Can you find some more that go into the history of the company and its founding. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:35, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

English voice actor notability
Hello AngusWOOF! When browsing the archives, I noticed you have been very active if AfD nominations pertaining to English voice actors in anime, both arguing to save and delete depending on the situation. I am curious though, how do you decide whether an actor is notable and the article worth trying to save or that the article should just be deleted? I ask this as I plan to create one in the future. Link20XX (talk) 20:14, 7 June 2021 (UTC)
- Link20XX, I suggest looking at WP:ANIME/BIO. The voice actors are mainly going by WP:ENT, whether they have major roles in major productions. By major roles, I would say they have a starring / main character in the role, and major production, it should be something widely notable, broadcasting on a major channel such as Cartoon Network and not its own distribution (not Anime Network or Funimation or Crunchyroll since their online broadcasts are basically direct-to-video equivalent). Netflix/Amazon is borderline. The voice actor should have news articles covering their career, and not only passing mentions from cast announcements. WP:ANIME/BIO has some examples of such news articles. If you are checking notability by number of anime conventions headlined, it should be at least a handful and for sure more than their locality (e.g. a Funimation voice actress should headline in conventions outside Texas) You can create one in the Draft and ask around to see whether that person would be notable enough. It shouldn't be around if it's only a filmography. There's no value in that, and that would be better covered by databases such as IMDb. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 01:33, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply. When I start, I will use the advice well. Thanks again. Link20XX (talk) 01:44, 8 June 2021 (UTC)

Draft:sub-tle.
Hi AngusWOOF!
Thank you for reviewing the article I have written. Regarding your concerns and suggested point, I would like to answer. It would be appreciated if you could give me your advice.
The required chart (Germany & Japan) is on 2008-2009 and 2013-2014, so no more archive on the internet. Also the radio chart has already gone. There are proof, but only as printed media - i.e. German newspaper or Japenese magazine, which is uploaded on the artist website. It probably doesn't match the requirement that it should be 'secondary sources'. So how can I proof further?
The artist is a official member of GEMA(Gesellschaft für musikalische Aufführungs- und mechanische Vervielfältigungsrechte (GEMA; "Society for musical performing and mechanical reproduction rights") ).
The article is for Okamoto's involvement in 'sub-tle.'. 'sub-tle.' has been SOLO project of Okamoto since September 2008.
Similar case in Wikipedia page : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornelius_(musician) In this case, 'Cornelius' is Oyamada's solo project.
Hope it would help your consideration. It would be appreciated if you could let me know how to improve further. Nanou (talk) 18:02, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
- Nanou, it needs to reference accepted charts from Germany or Japan as listed in WP:CHARTS. If the magazine excerpt is on the artist website but is a snapshot of the actual article then it could be considered as cite news. If you are writing a bio for Okamoto, then that could be done to rename to Satoshi Okamoto and then sub-tle. would redirect there. If it's just for the project itself, the infobox needs to be redone. You need more external news articles about it, otherwise it will likely redirect to Japandorf album article which has a paragraph on sub-tle. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 18:46, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for your prompt reply. Regarding chart, I understand. As I see in WP:CHARTS, this chart is marked as Deprecated charts. So I will leave it. And regarding the article, it is the latter case (just for the project itself - so 'Satoshi Okamoto' should redirect to 'sub-tle.'). I have redone the infobox, but if it needs to be changed further, it would be big appreciated if you could let me know how.
- Also the artist name 'sub-tle.' has paragraph in articles like Klaus Dinger , Neu!, not only Japandorf album.
- Japanese Wikipedia has same article here:
- and the artist database according to his releases, if it would be external reference:
- I will check further to invent this article. Thank you so much for your further assistance.Nanou (talk) 18:57, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

Splitting NFL MVP article
Hi Angus,
The two new NFL MVP articles I put forward were as a result of this discussion in the NFL Project page - basically, the current layout is confusing people so we're looking to restructure. To clarify, do I still need to create a split request, or is it enough that it's been discussed on the project page? Thanks,--Harper J. Cole (talk) 19:46, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
- Harper J. Cole, I made a reply on the WikiProject. The tables can move to the individual project, and if desired, can be transcluded into the NFL MVP page. If the WikiProject is good with it then the articles can be created directly without having to go through draft. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 22:32, 15 June 2021 (UTC)

Hey man,
Thanks for that quick review! That was fast as i was expecting a 5 month delay.
The College of Medicine is one of 140 medical centers in the United States. The University as a whole is an institution comprising of the College of Medicine and various other departments. I think the medical school should have it's own page, as is with the case of other medical schools in the United States. For Example, the SUNY Downstate Medical Center and SUNY Downstate College of Medicine also operate as separate articles on Wikipedia. I believe the medical school should have it's own article as well as it's lead in terms of research and education at the University.
Essentially, the University and the College of Medicine grew together but separately. The University grew out of the college of medicine and there are various other departments at the University.
Jumbotron88 (talk) 18:26, 30 June 2021 (UTC)
- Jumbotron88, I suggest you propose a split request on that article then and see if there's enough consensus from other editors on it. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 18:32, 30 June 2021 (UTC)
I have started a discussion proposing a separate article on the State University of New York Upstate Medical University talk page. Jumbotron88 (talk) 19:06, 30 June 2021 (UTC)
- Jumbotron88, right now the State University of New York Upstate Medical University article has a sizable section on College of Medicine, so I am suggesting you get consensus with the other editors on whether it's appropriate to spin that out to its own article and then it can shorten to a single paragraph at State University of New York Upstate Medical University. If consensus is not to split, then you can merge your additional findings into the main article. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 19:11, 30 June 2021 (UTC)

Majestic Prince
The timeline for Majestic Prince is slightly unusual, but it's very much an original anime. I'm not sure if there are any proper English sources, but to offer a mismatch of mostly Japanaese links:
- There are numerous instances of Japanese sources describing it as an original anime. The official Twitter for instance describes itself as "オリジナルロボットアニメ「銀河機攻隊マジェスティックプリンス」の公式アカウントです。" and from a brief search there are plenty of older web pages that do similar.
- There's an interview with the director, Keitarou Motonaga, where he describes working on the project. Of particular note is "最初に「ガンダムやエヴァではないロボットアニメを」というお題をもらった形で、僕自身ロボットアニメにいくつか関わっていたこともあって、声をかけてもらいました。準備に入ってからは約4年になりますね。" (in the section after he also mentions how it would be tied to the Hero's serialisation, though does not say it's based upon the manga).
- Slightly fallible, but if you check staff listings for the anime (either in Japanese or English) you won't see credits for either Arashima or Ayamine; both list the original creator (原作) as Fields Corporation/Sotsu Co., Ltd. and in fact, if you look at the first volume of the manga, you can see the same in the top right, with Fields/Sotsu being solely credited for planning/the original work (「企画・原作」 創通/フィールズ). This would not be the case were it an anime that was based upon a manga. Malincia (talk) 22:36, 3 July 2021 (UTC)
- Malincia, it could very well be a franchise launch, but the manga got to the market first. You should describe this in the talk page and propose the article title be renamed to Majestic Prince (franchise). Compare with My-Hime which also launched the anime and the manga within a month or two of each other. The problem arises when the anime series was released a year after the manga, that it makes it appear that it was adapting the manga instead of both manga and anime going off the corporate franchise concept. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 02:29, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
- lol, someone already pointed all this out on the talk page a mere... Eight years ago, not sure there's much benefit me reiterating anything there.
- More to the point, I've given numerous citations from primary Japanese sources which unquestionably state that it's an original anime, what it might "appear" to be is irrelevant. Even disambiguating it as a franchise seems a poor choice to me. Aside from the fact that MJP's barely a franchise (just check the Japanese Wikipedia page to see how much weight they give to the manga/novel), any interest the English article gets is by all accounts going to be for the anime, obfuscating this seems unwise (though I suppose anything's better than having it listed as a manga adaptation for another decade...). Malincia (talk)
- Malincia, I'd still prefer it to be titled (franchise) since it has multiple media, including the video game, and wouldn't fall immediately into the "manga adapted into anime" or "anime adapted into manga". Also (anime) is not a disambiguator we use for Wikipedia article titles anymore. It would end up being (TV series) if the manga really was a novelization of the anime series. - Malincia, I'm looking at this again. It really should be (franchise) since there were 16 volumes which is much much longer than the TV series and movie. So they kept the "franchise" going through 2019 and instead of making more TV episodes or movies they did the volumes. This is also supported by Anime News Network's article about the manga ending. Draft:Night Shift (Lucy Dacus song)
Hi Angus! When you declined the article you said the reviews are from the context of the album, but that's primarily the sources for the Background section where she's being interviewed about the inspiration for her songs (since most publications aren't going to spend a whole interview covering only one song). Most of the sources in the Reception section are from articles specifically about the song (see the NPR, New Yorker, Pitchfork citations) or place significant focus on the song within the context of Dacus's oeuvre (Slate, Stereogum, The Fader). Would a table of accolades (i.e. year-end, decade-end lists) make the article more likely to be published? Ribowall (talk) 16:39, 6 July 2021 (UTC)
- Ribowall, has it charted anywhere officially per WP:CHARTS? The reviews should be on the song itself and not one of those track-by-track album reviews where it just gets a sentence or two. Same with year-end charts, should not be "top 10 Lucy Dacus songs" lists. If the Reception section is indeed specifically for the song then you can argue for that on the AFC reviewing comments section or the talk page so other AFC reviewers can see it too. - Ribowall, I also suggest you add the critic and the media to the Reception quotes, such as AngusWOOF of Wikipedia wrote that "the song is too loud and I had to hide in my kennel". Also find balance - positive and negative - in the reception. You don't want to read like those tagline quotes on the backs or inside jackets of books. - Ribowall, it looks like it's been approved. Congrats! AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 16:58, 7 July 2021 (UTC)
