Two articles to create for you

[edit]

Hi @Link20XX, if you have free time can you create two light novels Blade & Bastard and Moscow 2160 both by Kumo Kagyu? Venom5122 (talk) 20:23, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Still not sure if I want to take requests yet, but I don't believe either of those series are notable. The former has a review from ANN but that's all I could find; the latter has pretty much nothing but its start date. Link20XX (talk) 02:41, 25 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

New draft article to create for you

[edit]

Hi @Link20XX, can you create a new anime article or draft? It's The Rose of Versailles based on the 1972 manga of the same name by Riyoko Ikeda, which will debut in Japanese theaters in early 2025.

MHA Battle for All Draft

[edit]

Hi Link20XX! I've just started Draft:My Hero Academia: Battle for All and seeing as how you created the articles for My Hero One's Justice and My Hero One's Justice 2, I thought I should ask for your input on how it could be improved further. Thanks! TheHumanIntersect (talk) 20:03, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I created the One's Justice articles because there was a lot of coverage for them that was easily available, especially since they both had worldwide releases. However, My Hero Academia: Battle for All was not released outside of Japan (as far as I'm aware), which makes finding sources much more difficult. You can check those at WP:VG/RS, but it seems like most are just translations or reposts of press releases. Link20XX (talk) 20:23, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Link20XX, I hope you're doing well. I assume you have added the natalie.mu source. I have tried to expand the same source using Citer, see here[1]. So, I would like to know which tool you used to expand the reference. Thanks for your consideration.

I simply wrote it out manually without using any tools. I use this basic template: <ref>{{cite web|script-title=ja:|url=|website=[[Natalie (website)|Comic Natalie]]|publisher=Natasha, Inc|date=|access-date=|language=ja}}</ref> and then fill in the empty fields; I get the title by copying/pasting it from the original article. Link20XX (talk) 03:15, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Link20XX,

When you draftify an article from the main space, you should post a notice to the User talk page of the article creator so they will know where to go find it. Most patrollers and admins use a script for this, either User:MPGuy2824/MoveToDraft (which is the one I use) or User:Mr. Stradivarius/gadgets/Draftify. This will put an option in the More tab at the top of the page that will allow you to select a Move to Draft option that will a) move the page, b) allow you to state why you are moving the article, c) post an AFC notice on the draft and d) post a notice on the User talk page of the article creator informing them of your actions. It makes the process very easy and I encourage you to try it out. Wikipedia has a variety of scripts and editing tools that will take care of steps like notification so you don't have to. You can find a list of tools at Wikipedia:User scripts/List. Don't let it overwhelm you, you might just try a couple at a time and see if they help you with the editing process. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 22:13, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Liz: Thanks for the heads-up. I will do this in the future. Link20XX (talk) 22:25, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Shinichi Ishizuka

[edit]

On 18 October 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Shinichi Ishizuka, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that manga artist Shinichi Ishizuka was told that becoming a manga artist would be "absolutely impossible"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Shinichi Ishizuka. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Shinichi Ishizuka), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Comics Beat

[edit]

I saw that you identified Comics Beat as reliable, but I had trouble finding a discussion or listing of it as such. Can you help inform me about why you consider it reliable? - Cukie Gherkin (talk) 01:25, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It is listed (as "The Beat") as reliable at WP:CMC/REF. Not to mention its editor-in-chief, Heidi MacDonald, seems to be well regarded in the comics industry and has worked as an editor at major comics companies, including DC Comics. Link20XX (talk) 01:54, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome, thanks for that! - Cukie Gherkin (talk) 02:05, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
