Assess : newly added and existing articles, maybe nominate some good B-class articles for GA; independently assess some as A-class, regardless of GA status.
Cleanup : * Sport governing body (this should-be-major article is in a shameful state) * Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.) * Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing. * Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."

Welcome @Cardei012597 and @LancedSoul to the group. So far thanks for the support on the talk pages but we need to put the Skydance=yes parts in the Template:WikiProject Film and Template:WikiProject Animation for them to work. On the side note, a new Cateorgy is made for people who worked on various Skydance Media projects. You might need to look at the to-do list above to get started on how to improve Skydance Media on Wikipedia and it's films. BMA-Nation2020 (talk) 02:50, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@BMA-Nation2020: Sorry to ruin the party, but you can't just create a task force out of nowhere. There's a process, as described at WP:TF#Setting up a task force structure. I see no evidence that a discussion was held to determine whether a task force should be created or whether there is support for it, and the current number of members (3) does not meet the recommended threshold of 5–10 people as advised by WP:TF. I found several WikiProject talk page posts such as this one, but it looks like none of them received a response. I was extremely taken aback when my watchlist was suddenly flooded with Cardei012597's mass-adding of Skydance tags to film article talk pages. InfiniteNexus (talk) 05:12, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Whoa, whoa, easy, dude. Easy… i wasn’t my fault about this. A user from the proposal of making a Wikiproject Skydance thing recommend me this and im trying to get some people to join up. It’s closely progressing but we’re taking our time. Let us build up the crew first than we’ll do the thing later. I am so sorry, InfiniteNexus. It won’t happen again. BMA-Nation2020 (talk) 06:17, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No, you don't set up a taskforce and then recruit editors; it's the other way around. Without enough participants, a task force simply will not work. WP:TF states: If you want to create a task force for an existing project, you should gather consensus from the other project participants [...] a good number to start a task force with is five people; it may not be effective until it reaches 10 or so people. The fact that no one responded at Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals/Skydance Media or Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Animation#Skydance Media is a good indicator that there are not enough editors who regularly edit Skydance articles and are interested in collaborating with others in that area to justify the creation of a task force, much less a WikiProject. InfiniteNexus (talk) 23:23, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
i'm trying to do my best, stop pushing me around! Look, i know i tried to do a proposal but a user named @ElijahPepe told me to make a task force out of it. I listened and i'm trying to build it up. So please don't make it worse for me. BMA-Nation2020 (talk) 23:48, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I understand and appreciate your enthusiasm, but you have to do things the right way. I'm sorry if you feel I'm being pushy, it's not my intention to make anyone feel bad, but I'm being candid and straightforward here. I did read ElijahPepe's comment, but creating a task force still requires discussion before doing so. InfiniteNexus (talk) 00:02, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
While ElijahPepe should have advised you to seek consensus before starting a task force, it was not their responsibility to check WP:TF and see what the process should be before creating this page. When you were at WP:COUNCIL/P proposing a WikiProject, you should also seen the paragraph that says: Any existing WikiProject can create a task force whenever it chooses, so the normal place to propose a task force is at the parent WikiProject's talk page.InfiniteNexus (talk) 00:14, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I would have placed this taskforce under the Film project rather than Animation, but right now this is a subpage of WikiProject Animation. InfiniteNexus (talk) 01:45, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's been a week and a half, and no one has responded at WT:FILM#Skydance Task Force and only one person has accepted BMA's user talk page invites. As I had guessed earlier, there doesn't seem to be enough support for a Skydance taskforce to function. @Redrose64: What do you advise we do? Move this to draftspace/userspace? Leave the page intact and add {{Historical}} to the top? InfiniteNexus (talk) 06:32, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I was thinking G6, would that not work? On second thought, the main category can probably be retained unless the importance scale, recognized content, and to-do pages get deleted, but Category:Skydance Media work group articles and everything under it has no reason to be retained. I would've just let them go through C1, but it looks like all of them are tagged as do-not-delete. InfiniteNexus (talk) 22:34, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I do not like G6 and avoid its use wherever possible. G6 gets used far too often as a kind of none-of-the-others-fit criterion. That is not its purpose. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 22:40, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
