B-Class checklist
[edit]Greeting, I am a coordinator for WP:ANIMATION. A B-Class checklist will be added to the project banner, along with the work group text, including the importance function. The B-Class checklist will include 6 point parameters to assess against the criteria. If you have any questions, please discuss at our talk page. Thank for your time. All Hanna-Barbera shows were not originally distributed by Warner Bros.
[edit]As a matter of fact, _none_ of them were, because Hanna-Barbera's last few years were spent making Cartoon Network originals distributed at the time by Turner. However, a larger number of Hanna-Barbera Wikipedia articles list Warner Bros. Television Distribution as the only distributor, with no mention of any of the companies that handled the shows beforehand or even during their original broadcasts.
Here is an guide to fixing most (not all) of these articles, which should be done (I'll fix any I come across): HB shows were distributed by Screen Gems between 1957 and 1966. Screen Gems also handled all reruns for seven years after a show's airdate (sss [1]), so the Flintstones spinoffs of the early 1970s were also Screen Gems releases. Rights would revert to Taft as the SG contracts expired. HB shows made between 1967 and 1988 were distributed by Taft Broadcasting. Syndication was apparently handled by the Program Exchange until 1980, when Taft's Worldvision Enterprises took over for most (not all) of the properties. This will require more research for accuracy. All HB shows made between 1988 and 1991 were distributed by Great American Broadcasting All HB shows made between 1991 and 1998 (plus any Cartoon Network Studios material) were distributed by Turner Program Services All HB shows made between 1999 and 2001 (of which, I don't think there are any non-CN shows) would have been distributed by Warner Bros. Television Distribution

Request for information on WP1.0 web tool
[edit]Hello and greetings from the maintainers of the WP 1.0 Bot! As you may or may not know, we are currently involved in an overhaul of the bot, in order to make it more modern and maintainable. As part of this process, we will be rewriting the web tool that is part of the project. You might have noticed this tool if you click through the links on the project assessment summary tables.
We'd like to collect information on how the current tool is used by....you! How do you yourself and the other maintainers of your project use the web tool? Which of its features do you need? How frequently do you use these features? And what features is the tool missing that would be useful to you? We have collected all of these questions at this Google form where you can leave your response. Walkerma (talk) 04:23, 27 October 2019 (UTC)

Hello,
This is a new category that needs parent categories assigned. I was hoping that someone from this work group would know the appropriate animation categories to assign to it. Liz Read! Talk! 21:45, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
Hanna-Barbera internal history documents
[edit]I have obtained these and uploaded at: http://questfan.com/Page/Preview_Press_Kit.html I suppose they can't really be cited as a source (these were issued with a Jonny Quest press kit), but the massive listing of series and air dates might help the Wikiproject.
