This satellite event is one of many simultaneous edit-a-thons happening March 6 - 8, across the globe. The strategy is two-fold: 1. Attempt to diminish the disparity between male and female artists represented on Wikipedia 2. Get more women editing on Wikipedia
Catalogs and other publications from the Fresno Art Museum library and Curatorial Department will be available for use during the event. Please feel free to bring your personal copies of publications that you would like to share with others for the purpose of this event.
If you are interested in participating please register via the instructions below. If you are a Wikipedia beginner and would prefer to register via email/phone, please do so by contacting Christina Rea at the Fresno Art Museum. My contact information is listed here.
Lastly, to keep the troops energized please consider bringing your favorite snack/side dish to share with others. Thanks for participating, this should be a ton of fun!
