Event information

  • Date: Saturday, March 7th, 2015
  • Time: 11am-5pm
  • Location: Morton R Godine Library, Massachusetts College of Art and Design
  • Cost: Free
  • Participants: No Wikipedia editing experience necessary; as needed throughout the event, tutoring will be provided for Wikipedia newcomers. Female editors are particularly encouraged to attend.
  • General Info Parking in the MassArt area can be difficult, so please consider taking public transportation. MassArt is between the Museum of Fine Arts and Longwood Medical stops on the Green E line. I recommend the MFA parking garage for anyone who is driving into the city. There will be heavy snacks and drinks on site. If you have dietary restrictions you may want to bring your own snack.
  • RSVP by signing your username below! If you are unfamiliar with Wikipedia, you might try this training module which will help explain a lot of things, including how to add your signature.
  • What to Bring: Attendees feel free to bring your own laptops and power cords. There will be online public access computers labs.

The Library is located on the 12th floor of the tower building. You will have to sign in with our security guard at the entrance of the tower building

This will help us to better measure the effectiveness of this event and similar programs. This means that your publicly available activity and the information you share with us during this event may be processed by the Wikimedia Foundation, Art+Feminism, and the organizers of the local event, and may be transferred to or from the US and other countries that may not have the same level of privacy regulation that your country does.
