- Ancient warfare — seems it hasn't been updated since 2017. Needs some tone changes and grammar cleanup, especially in section Ancient Warfare#Tactics and weapons --Ommar365 (talk) 10:55, 23 February 2020 (UTC)

- List of fictional extraterrestrials - Many of the links are broken or don't lead to any of the lists of alien races. And if we clear all those links, only few lists will remain - which will move this article away from the neutral point of view even further. EchoBlu (talk) 07:11, 6 February 2020 (UTC)

- World War I casualties#Casualties by post-war (1924) borders — way too repetitive explaining the book by Erikman. I'm not sure how to make it more elegant, could someone please take a look? Thanks, DemonDays64 (talk) 18:50, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS) – Requires some extensive copyediting for grammar as well as unreferenced and lengthy quotes.Nrco0e (talk) 03:35, 20 March 2020 (UTC)- Long Done. The article was quite young at the time of this request, and soon after the request a few editors came in who fixed the named problems; in particular we can thank an IP editor, Kheider and Randy Kryn. It is currently in good condition. PJvanMill)talk( 23:51, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
- Tricontinental Conference 1966 - lead section too long, multiple cases of references duplication. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 20:54, 13 March 2020 (UTC)

- Northanger Abbey -- too long, excessively detailed, needs to be written more cohesively. Tetrahedron17 (talk) 04:15, 25 April 2020 (UTC)
- Comment: @Tetrahedron17: Despite being a lengthy article, much (but not all) of it is well-cited. The request above will require extensive copy editing, along with a cleanup editor willing to take what could be a fair amount of time to first learn a great deal about the novel before before embarking upon reducing the article. It is possible that the accommodation of this extensive request may not come into fruition here. Ultimately, this request, relative to the article, would be better suited for WP:GOCER, in my opinion. North America1000 18:11, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
- Jamia Millia Islamia -- Indian public university. The page is written like the uni's info brochure. Tetrahedron17 (talk) 09:42, 23 April 2020 (UTC)
- Democratic Socialists of America — major overuse of first-party sources leads to an article with no criticism that makes the organization sound way more significant than it is. See Talk:Democratic Socialists of America#No criticism, bad sources. DemonDays64 (talk) 14:23, 17 April 2020 (UTC)
- Armageddon#Etymology – needs thorough copy-editing / revision; see there.--Hildeoc (talk) 19:57, 16 April 2020 (UTC)

- Hunter (video game) - A 1991 video game using procedurally generated 3D graphics. The gameplay & reception sections read as being written by a fan, and gameplay appears as original research due to this and the lack of inline citations in it. I've already done some work on this article in improving its citations to have archive.org links and such. Waxworker (talk) 18:47, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
- Partly done I cleaned up the language, removed some of the advertising, and cut out needless quotes. Probably still needs another pass.Arigatō tokoro (talk) 10:17, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
- Team Yankee - A fictional 1987 war novel. Formatting issues, consists primarily of a long plot summary,
lack of inline citations. Citations are bare URLs.Waxworker (talk) 17:23, 23 May 2020 (UTC)
- Partly done converted urls, marked 1 as dead Less Unless (talk) 12:58, 24 May 2020 (UTC)

- List of Kamen Rider Ghost characters - List of characters from the series Kamen Rider Ghost, a live-action Japanese drama. Excessive uncited fancruft. Waxworker (talk) 18:27, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

- Up for Grabs (play) - A 2000 play about the international art market. Page reads somewhat as an advertisement and has overall issues with tone and quality of citations. Waxworker (talk) 18:27, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
- Partly done - Fixed bare URLs -- WILDSTAR talk 06:35, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
- Casanova (comics) - 2006 spy/espionage themed comic series. Uncited fancruft, minor formatting and tone issues. Waxworker (talk) 18:27, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
- Roxlee: This is an article that must adhere to the biographies of living persons policy. It has multiple issues (see its templates), including containing highly promotional content and having virtually no reliable sources. I'm suspecting it may even violate the BLP policy. As such, it urgently needs cleanup. Please help by improving it, and/or correct me if I am wrong. MrSwagger21 (talk) 03:03, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
- LGBT rights in Zambia - Some issues: duplicate information, citations in incorrect place, lack of coherence, uncited information. Mnonkes (talk)

Wallace Craig - list of sources needs to be reorganized into refs and external links.Less Unless (talk) 10:13, 30 June 2020 (UTC)
- Gummibär - A German virtual singer CGI gummy bear, primarily known for I'm a Gummy Bear (The Gummy Bear Song). Excessive fancruft and tone and grammar issues, the episode descriptions for the cartoon based on the character in particular stike me as being written by a young fan, and they require serious rewriting. Waxworker (talk) 15:33, 17 June 2020 (UTC)
- Partly done Cleaned up part of the web series section, which has the most issues. Rosalina2427 (talk to me) 18:53, 17 June 2020 (UTC)
- Grading systems by country - this article is extremely long, poorly sourced, has numerous grammatical errors, and uses inconsistent formatting from section to section. Mysteryman blue 07:09, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
- Partly done Corrected grammar, made formatting more consistent (and added tables), removed irrelevant details. Ashpie007 (talk) 19:36, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
- Creatures (1990 video game) - A 1990 platforming game with cartoon-y graphics contrasted by scenes of torture. Formatting & tone issues, plot is described in an in-universe style. Waxworker (talk) 18:17, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
Not done As the article cites no sources, and I don't seem to be able to find anything better, I've nominated it for deletion.PJvanMill (talk) 22:20, 19 June 2020 (UTC)- Deletion discussion is going to be a keep. Should have looked better. PJvanMill (talk) 14:15, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
Chiller (video game) - A controversial 1986 light gun arcade game wherein the player takes the role of a torturer; the game's notible for its gore. Possible original research, and the article needs more citations; i've already removed some citations from unprofessional sources such as blogs.Waxworker (talk) 02:21, 7 June 2020 (UTC)- Done - changes for additional citations, original research, and tone were made through these edits by Catttte. Corresponding maintenance tags were also removed. Just for reference, requests for additional sources or citations are usually out of the scope of this WikiProject. Aranya (talk) 02:11, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
Bolo (1987 video game) - A 1987 multiplayer tank strategy game, and an early game with networking capabilities. Uncited fancruft, and the articles only sources are two primary sources from the creator of the Macintosh port of the game.Waxworker (talk) 01:23, 3 June 2020 (UTC)- Partly done I've found a secondary source, which is in "Further reading" for now. I've removed most of the fancruft. It still needs a lot more citations, but many claims in the article could be backed up adequately by a primary source. PJvanMill (talk) 19:12, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
- Done as the remaining concerns (that is, sourcing) are not really cleanup work. PJvanMill)talk( 22:13, 19 May 2021 (UTC)
- Partly done I've found a secondary source, which is in "Further reading" for now. I've removed most of the fancruft. It still needs a lot more citations, but many claims in the article could be backed up adequately by a primary source. PJvanMill (talk) 19:12, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
- List of warez groups - A list of warez groups, which publish pirated/cracked content. This article has a serious issue: the site 'defacto2' is used extensively throughout the article, but the site is now usurped and links to straight-up malware that MalwareBytes identifies as a trojan. Many of the links are permanent dead links as well. Waxworker (talk) 01:26, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
- Not done per recent changes the project doesn't deal with referencing. Less Unless (talk) 20:46, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
- Less Unless I've unstruck this one - per the discussion, this project is not for adding sources and references, but problems with existing sources are within scope. Kind regards from PJvanMill)talk( 21:07, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
July 2020
- Adventure therapy Theory and Effectiveness sections are overlong, filled with repetitive references to studies, and there are too many citations, making for a difficult article to read. Probably needs a more concise rewrite. werewolf (talk) 05:18, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
- Autonomous building - lack of inline refs and doesn’t seem to flow right (to me, at least). It just feels off. Firestarforever (talk) 02:24, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
- Aleksander Vinter discography - the way this page looks like is all messed up and disorganized. Incomplete tables and a lack of quotations for song names and organization are very prevalent here. Lacon432 (talk) 14:34, 15 July 2020 (UTC)
- Women in Turkmenistan - Tone and style need overhauling. Article is occasionally opinionated, lacking in structure and prose is rather informal. KaterFindus (talk) 22:33, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
- Partly done I mostly rewrote the article due to major bias issues and a lot of unsourced material. I'll probably continue working on it for a bit longer. Would appreciate feedback! Thanks, Ovinus (talk) 20:25, 23 July 2020 (UTC)

- Dissolution of the Soviet Union - requires
citations, condensing, and stylistic cleanup, failure to maintain NPOV - see talk page for full complaints and a couple of examples. Strawberryfire (talk) 23:09, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
- Strawberryfire and AussieWikiDan: this project generally does not add more sources to articles. I've struck that part of both of your requests. Kind regards from PJvanMill)talk( 21:49, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
- Prophethood (Ahmadiyya) - MOS capitalising, requires
more citationsand possible removal of content, original research issue. AussieWikiDan (talk) 13:09, 25 August 2020 (UTC) - History of Dubai - Opening paragraph about UAE instead. Poor use of citations.AussieWikiDan (talk) 13:07, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
- BT Sport#Programming - there are needlessly long lists of presenters on here. It's just lines and lines of names, like a register! Please either remove most names, create a new article listing the presenters or put them into a table. Thanks! Mrmariomaster (talk) 20:37, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
- Zhou Shen - Please fix grammar and prose in this article if necessary. Some sentences do not have citations, so maybe add "citations needed" if necessary. Article may be praising the living person at times, instead of maintaining neutral point of view. I've done some edits and will continue to do so but would like some help. Thanks! GhostHuang'sFan (talk) 07:28, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
- Shooting and crying - poorly written, needs a grammatical and syntactical cleanup. Sk96sk (talk) 13:34, 13 August 2020 (UTC)

Cleavage (breasts) has many citations but very little use of appropriate cite syntax. Can someone help?Aditya(talk • contribs) 02:51, 2 August 2020 (UTC)- Done - all 400ish refs now use some type of citation template, through the edits of many editors since August 2020. I'm going to post details on my edits and some possible improvements at its talk page sometime later. My condolences to the requester, Aditya Kumar. - Aranya (talk) 00:40, 31 August 2021 (UTC)

- Struck the above entry. The article presently has no bare urls, and the "Lead too long" tag denoted above was never added to the article. Rather, the linkrot tag was added (diff), which has been addressed. North America1000 17:33, 23 February 2021 (UTC)

Susana Boomhouwer - Dutch trance music vocalist. Promotional, over-detailed, contains unreliable sources, lots of unreferenced trivia, too many links at "External links" section. George Floyd protests in New Jersey - some clean up needed. Excessive amount of templates found, resulting in references not able to be visible and other templates.Tinton5 (talk) 20:57, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
- Note: the problem is not the number of templates, and removing random templates does not help. I've determined that the problem is with one template specifically, the map. The map template contains around 70 KB data, but somehow the template and/or Lua magic makes it exceed the include size limit of 2048 KB. I'm trying to figure out how this is happening. PJvanMill)talk( 19:32, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- (Pinging Tinton5 & Northamerica1000, who've been contributing to the article) If I've understood things correctly, it is mostly due to the size being double-counted for every nested level of transclusion (not completely sure it's only levels of transclusion), and also the relevant size is (I think?) the size of what's generated by the Lua module from the data, which seems to be considerably bigger than the 70 KB starting data. PJvanMill)talk( 20:50, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- Fixed. @Tinton5 and PJvanMill: Fixed transclusion errors by substituting a summary map in the article, with a link to interactive the map. Of note is that other similar articles are having the same problem, as denoted at Talk:George Floyd protests in New Jersey. North America1000 12:00, 18 February 2021 (UTC)

- Done - Preston's article has been re-redirected to Wallows which was the case until June 18. If this is reverted again I will take it to the AfD process. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 15:27, 23 June 2021 (UTC)

JotterPad - far too much detail; inconsistent use of tenses and capitalization; informal language.— Paul G (talk) 07:52, 16 May 2021 (UTC)Wilbert Hart - American soul musician. Too many primary sources, some should be replaced with better sources requests.--Bbarmadillo (talk) 18:50, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: - Unless anyone feels strongly about it, I would suggest merging Mr. Hart's article to The Delfonics because he has few achievements outside of the group. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 14:51, 3 July 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: I don't think that it should be merged with The Delfonics article. Looks like the person is notable by himself. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 17:35, 3 July 2021 (UTC)
I respectfully disagree. Note that most of the text in Hart's article is about the Delfonics. Statements that Hart was sampled by rappers apply to Delfonics songs. In later years Hart has some songwriting and production credits on items that are largely non-notable in their own right, and he has a few later releases under the name "Wil Hart & The Delfonics" (e.g. [1]). As a result, I don't think he did anything notable outside of the group name, and it can all be described at their article.---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 14:47, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
- Done - At the Delfonics talk page, another editor opposed the merge as well, so I dropped the idea. That user and I have cleaned up Wilbert's article with better sources and more specific info on Wilbert's career outside of the Delfonics. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 00:49, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
USC Thornton School of Music – page needs an actual lede and body.KidAd • SPEAK 20:58, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
- Comment I have reorganized the article, but the missing lead was the minor problem there. The article has very long lists (I won't mention the sources). Can someone take a look? I can correct those, but currently a bit confused with Notable faculty section. Should the red links be removed? Too many of those.Less Unless (talk) 13:51, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: The lists are too long and don't provide notability for individuals being in the list. I would support trimming all the red links as that would leave the ones that have pages and are likely more notable. The list issue is old and hasn't been addressed since it was noted in 2012. I did some trimming of red links. ThinkHat (talk) 17:07, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
- Comment I removed all remaining red links. The article will need watchingto ensure that more do no get added. DGG ( talk ) 00:59, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Done as a result of collective effort. The article looks fine now. Less Unless (talk) 21:22, 17 July 2021 (UTC)

- Done - Removed empty sections that were unlikely to ever be filled, and removed "please improve" draft section that was unsupported trivia. Also moved the article to the organization's true name rather than the informal acronym. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 15:28, 27 June 2021 (UTC)

Build the Earth - Deletion? If not it is full of promotional and citation issues.AmericanAir88(talk) 21:30, 12 March 2021 (UTC)v- Comment: AmericanAir88: Hey, I was one of the first few people to substantially work on this article (and it was the first article I worked on), so it's a "nice" coincidence that this is the first thing I see when I open Cleanup!
- This is from back when I had no idea how Wikipedia worked, and I just wanted to write. It's in a pretty not NPOV (and I see how it could seem promotional, but that wasn't my intention at all), and it contains a lot of original research, because I'm part of the project.
- However, I don't think that it should be deleted. I know that lack of notability isn't the only reason for deletion of articles, but there are a lot of reliable sources that have talked about BTE (Independent, ScreenRant, EuroGamer, Vice, ...), and I think there's a lot we could improve based on these (though this would result in an article with a much smaller scope, of course).
- I'm going to try and improve it (even though I'm not that interested in writing about BTE anymore, but I won't leave it stranded), and everyone else is very welcome to do so, too. This would include removing all of my original research. Sorry for creating this abomination :) 🐈 cAtte_ · talk · contributions · 17:38, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
- Response The article is highly promotional and relies on primary sources. It needs to be fixed. The "Build team" section needs to be removed as it is a clear violation of Wikipedia principles and is not notable. Thank you for your help. AmericanAir88(talk) 23:45, 13 March 2021 (UTC)

- Partly done removed some promotional content and trivia as well as multiple YouTube and Facebook links to her speeches. A lot more cleanup is needed. The is an unsuccessful local politician, the article should be 50% shorter. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 19:15, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
