Tschaikovsky Pas de Deux - 1960 ballet. Some sources are dead, and some content seems to be irrelevant. I'll work on the "notable performers" section at some point, maybe other parts of the article too. And if you're wondering the spelling of the title is intentional. Corachow (talk) 15:15, 12 September 2020 (UTC)
Joanne Wilson - US venture investor. It is a properly stated WP:COI contribution. Here is an opinion from DGG: "I can't help thinking that the article is considerably excessive in view of the accomplishments. Perhaps it could be fixed by not including mere listings as awards, (and converting the table into a list--because of accessability problems tables as deprecated unless necessary), i moving those items in the bibliography that discuss her into references in the usual format, and possible decreasing the rather extreme number of references, too many of which are barely disguised PR, and from sources which are mainly devoted to publishing press releases" (expressed here). -- --Bbarmadillo (talk) 18:51, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
Partly done cleaned up everything related to the refs. Still needs to be substantially shortened. Not my field of expertise. Less Unless (talk) 20:26, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
Foley Downtown Historic District - Historic district on the NRHP. Bizarre phrasing, paragraph breaks, lists in paragraph/sentence form, line breaks for citations, and lack of punctuation. twink central (talk)
Partly done - Fixed up punctuation issues and removed some archaic phrases and a red link. Don't know what to do with the lists, though. Phantasm99 (talk) 14:54, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
Aaron Gryder - article about the champion jockey reads mostly like a story (especially the opening paragraphs) with insufficient references. Submitting here with regards to story tone.JRHorse (talk) 21:40, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
Comment:. Also the types of chairs, reception, and awards. I may list this for deletion as basically advertising. DGG ( talk ) 21:45, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
Note: - I started working on this and found that the article uses citations for two different bands of the same name. The one being discussed for real (the trance group) had just one minor release and little coverage. I have nominated them for deletion or redirect to the frontman. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lost Tribe. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 17:19, 6 September 2021 (UTC)
Lanisha Cole - Has been tagged for over a decade that it needs additional citations for verification and I think with the recent Mike Richards and Jeopardy! news that has hopefully reached its conclusion I think some citations on her dismissal and articles (if they are any) about her thoughts on Mike's dismissal along with some about her post The Price Is Right career.Pahiy (talk) 18:38, 6 September 2021 (UTC)
@Pahiy: Sorry, but please note that this project does not accept requests for additional sources or citations to be added to articles; I have struck the above entry. North America100019:50, 6 September 2021 (UTC)
Done - I think this is done; long plot template has been removed and style changes were both made through edits of many users. I don't think the other parts of the request can be done with the existing sources, and they are unfortunately out of the scope of the WikiProject. Aranya(talk)20:15, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
Done - Removed many repeated links and others to unnecessary basic concepts. Many of the article's links are legit though because there are lots of WP articles about the country and region. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 17:27, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
Hans Fährmann - This article requires several fixes: organization, needs an infobox, headings (capitalization, placement, wording), bare URL, layout (large paragraphs) and style. — WILDSTARtalk16:47, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
Fixed - The notice in the article was placed two months ago and if there were many bare URLs then, it looks like the community fixed most of them. I found only one remaining and fixed it myself, so as of right now there are no more bare URLs in the article. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 18:24, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
I originally said "Done" above and other people have changed my comment to "Partly Done" and then "Fixed" because of the change in topic. That's inefficient and it also enables other people to speak with my voice. The answer here is to close the first request about bare URL's, which I really did fix. I will start a new entry on the over-linking problem (see above) and someone can fix it and say they did so with their own voice. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 14:57, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
Note: - I wonder if it necessary to have a separate article for Bolivia's version (Diablada (Bolivia)), because that country is mentioned extensively in the original Diablada article. Perhaps a merge? An attempt to transform the specific Bolivia article to a music genre beyond the dance seems half-hearted to me. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 15:32, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
No, I'm unfortunately not familiar enough with them. I work with infoboxes of musical genres, and a cursory checkup of the sources only found out that the term denotes dance and does not refer to a particular musical style. There's also History of the Diablada tho, which was already nominated to merge once Talk:Diablada#MergeSolidest (talk) 16:33, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
Comment: with a ping to @Solidest:. Except for minor attempts to include music genre terminology, the two articles at Diablada and Diablada (Bolivia) are nearly identical, while History of the Diablada repeats info from both as well. I have initiated the merger proposal process for at least two of them at Talk:Diablada#Merger proposal. If nobody responds for a few weeks I can then do the merge myself, but if anyone resists we may need tough discussions on why duplicate info is inefficient. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 14:49, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
Comment: - There is an exact copy of this article at: [1]; not sure which site copied which. I have been around WP for a long time and have never seen a more preposterous candidate for the WP:TNT process. It looks like a direct copy of a high school student's research paper. I suppose Ms. Landmann is eligible for an article because she has been covered by biographers, but this travesty needs to be reduced by 99%. I could help as part of a team effort but it may be an uphill battle if we get reverted by the article's fans. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 14:28, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
@Doomsdayer520: from the bottom of the page you linked: "Kiddle encyclopedia articles are based on selected content and facts from Wikipedia, edited or rewritten for children." The website seems to have copied their article from here, but they seem to be following Wikipedia's licensing terms judging by the attribution statement at the bottom. Definitely agree that our article needs an extensive rewrite though. Aranya(talk)02:58, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
Done, except for an issue with converting references to footnotes. I reduced the article to basic biographical facts, which made it probably 80% shorter. Most of it was about the general history of her religious group and deemed irrelevant for this one person's specific biography. I believe the whole thing was copied from a church publication. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 16:57, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
Note: tried to address the detail a bit. I'm also unsure of Metternich's notability after reviewing the sources, so I've opened an AfD discussion. Aranya(talk)15:16, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
Drako Motors - Manufacturer of electric sports cars. Reads entirely as an advertisement, and I feel that a lot of this article is impressive-sounding statistics that don't really mean anything, but I don't know anything about cars. Needs copyediting, and citations need re-formatting to have further information.Waxworker (talk) 08:40, 6 June 2021 (UTC)
Partly done - reworded the lead and replaced and removed unnecessary sources. Not too comfortable working in this topic area, so I've added a new advert tag due to the excessive detail on their main product. Aranya(talk)15:54, 8 October 2021 (UTC)
Lee Labrada - Cuban bodybuilder. Too commercial, and has no references. Will also need to be split into multiple sections since it is too hard to read. May also include original research. -- Phantasm99 (talk)
Done I found a source and reduced the article to what I could reference to that source, so it is now BLP-compliant and no longer advert-like. PJvanMill)talk(16:15, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
Animal Rights National Conference - I removed some of the more promotional areas, but could use another editor's review. Animal Rights Hall of Fame section I wasn't sure if that should be removed. Once cleaned up, I think the Advert. tag could be removed.Rievebug (talk) 19:38, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
in my experience, all pages for genuine European universities with a significant history can be rescued fairly easily. Other areas can be much harder to find sources. DGG ( talk ) 21:14, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
Note: Struck the entry at this time. Article presently has no maintenance tags pertinent to this project, and nothing on the talk page suggesting problems with the article. North America100013:51, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
Done I have addressed all the issues and reorganized the article to comply with MOS. The info is mostly collected from several sources which I have found and added as refs. Less Unless (talk) 20:05, 29 October 2021 (UTC)
@WildStar: Those are all citations from 20-50 year old print magazines. I'm not sure they're available online (to get a title). We could, however, change the format of the citation so that the 'red font' in the references section goes away. Let me know if you think that would help, and I'll do that for you. Platonk (talk) 15:24, 8 October 2021 (UTC)
Platonk, since all of those CS1 style references fail to provide the needed bibliographic data (title), I believe it would be acceptable to improve them per WP:CITEVAR, retaining as much (if not all) of the information already there. If you feel the need, please feel free to discuss it further on the article's talk page. All the best and thank you! — WILDSTARtalk16:58, 8 October 2021 (UTC)
Oxford English Dictionary - Many citations appear broken (e.g. [18]:xx). These may be referring to a specific page of the cited resource, and should be moved to into the citation as per WP:CITE. Also, any of the revisions of the OED mentioned in the text contain question marks (e.g. ?th impression). I don't have easy access to the find the correct revision numbers.aaPle (talk) 03:04, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
Done – Struck the above at this time. I fixed the last two instances of bare urls used as sources for notes in the article (diff, diff), and the (e.g. ?th impression) matter would require edits that may require significant research, which is not under the particular purview of this project; this latter aspect may be better addressed by posting a request at the Guild of Copy Editors' Requests page. North America100001:11, 13 November 2021 (UTC)
SpaceX Starship - An article about in-development space rocket. Really long with no consistency, many grammartical errors and have a lot of unnesscesary details. It should be paid more attention as it have 20k+ view per day.DrifAssault (talk) 07:02, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
Done thanks to push by CactiStaccingCrane, the article has been completely reworked on its way to through a successful GAN and some other review processes. I think most of these fundamental issues have been addressed. Aranya(talk)14:42, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
Done – Has been addressed, with edits such as this that removed 19,001 bytes of information in March 2021, with the edit summary, "stubbed article and removed the eleven maintenance templates as an alternative to PROD, working on rewrite". North America100000:46, 13 November 2021 (UTC)
Done – Struck the above entry. Appears to have been addressed, with edits such as this that removed 17,734 bytes of information in March 2021, with the edit summary, "see previous; this is not the bible". North America100000:39, 13 November 2021 (UTC)
Comment:I've noticed that all of the links are for the catalogue section, and once you delete that, it becomes completely unsourced. As such, I'm nominating it for deletion.
Listia - Online auction marketplace that uses credits instead of money. Lots of unreliable/primary refs and original research, I've already removed a bunch of links to individual auctions for Amazon gift cards.Waxworker (talk) 13:37, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
Hi Tyrone Madera, the article looks fine at a first glance. I made some minor adjustments to the formatting and removed some external links per WP:ELNO. Do you have any specific concerns about its compliance with the MOS? Bridget(talk)19:30, 4 December 2021 (UTC)
Hi Bridget! No specific concerns, just wanted someone to double-check me to make sure that the article was following the relevant guidelines. If you haven't seen anything that stands out to you, I would mark this as done. Thank you for looking it over!Tyrone Madera (talk) 20:44, 4 December 2021 (UTC)
Resolved - no specific problem identified, the article seems fine to me as well, though I don't have the entire MOS in my head. PJvanMill)talk(22:42, 8 December 2021 (UTC)
Not done. @Pahiy: I struck your entry above. Per the header atop this page, this project "does not accept requests for additional sources or citations to be added to articles". North America100021:03, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
Humboldt 7 massacre - Oh boy, everything. Poor grammar, improper formatting, a few improper citations, a suspiciously low number of citations and references for such a long article, what seems like NPOV, you name it.AdoTang (talk) 18:27, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
Done I decided to mop this one up myself for no reason. I think the article is at least readable now; though it might need more work in some places, I think it's clean enough for me to mark this as done. AdoTang (talk) 21:15, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
Partly done - converted all the bare urls, but there's a ref called Ibid that is used about 10 times and is not citing anything. Also I've noticed original research and npov violations. Less Unless (talk) 08:14, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
@WildStar and Less Unless: I went ahead and really boldly reverted the Biography section to an older version because of concerns with prose and sourcing. I think the sources with ibid were OK, it was more the heavy reliance on things like Baidu Baike, thepaper.cn, and IMDB/FindAGrave.com (per WP:RSP). The two sections analyzing her films are still there, I just moved them to separate section tagged for OR. I didn't change any recent reference additions and formatting changes, but I know I undid a lot of edits so please revert if you think I misjudged. Bridget(talk)16:25, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
So much better. I was so hopeful looking at your diff, but surprised to still see a lot of blue. You removed around 16 just the first paragraph and the diff went on and on and on! Sorry to turn your world blue on you. ;) Thank you. I couldn't have done it without blowing up on whoever did that to the article. Platonk (talk) 04:30, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
Comment: I think it makes sense for adaptations of a particular work (here A Christmas carol or The Nutcracker and the Mouse King) to be sorted by year, while the other tables should be sorted alphabetically. That would mean only the section "Short films" needs to be changed. Also, per WP:CSC, this list should follow and mostly does follow the "every entry has to be notable" criterion, which means unlinked entries and entries that are redirects to group articles should be removed.
