New question raised regarding Talk:Hillary Rodham Clinton/April 2015 move request
Some opposers of this move have now contended that there is a "Critical fault in proposal evidence", which brings the opinions expressed into question. Please indicate if this assertion in any way affects your position with respect to the proposed move. Cheers! bd2412 T 04:35, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
Modify title for article presently called Just in Time (Business)
Thank you for your offer to fix the wrong title for me. The article's present title is "Just in Time (Business)" The correct title, far more specific and accurate, should be "Just-in-Time Manufacturing" I've already fixed some of the early content of the article by adding lots of relevant citations.Shonzey (talk) 19:11, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi I don't know who you are, or how editing wikipedia works - did my first contribution today. You said you removed it because it was not constructive for you... is this a personal opinion or on some objective criteria? My response was particularly directed at the easy to assume in ignorance but unsubstantiated view by a labour polictician that there was an inequality over the MA ststus (even though it is qualified) all MAs are unequal some universities are much more rigorous thanh others. I am not sure what your knowledge is of UK education system but Bristol is one of the top 10 most possible and has 1/4 of the workload etc prefix:User talk:Winner 42/
Not sure how to just send you a personal message rather than in a forum and am of course interested in any modifications to my input that you suggest but the point is a good one to make — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fh80 (talk • contribs) 19:44, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

- @Caskett2015: ok, here is the simple version. Step 1: Find the tweet that confirmed the information. Step 2: Find the link to that tweet, now it should look like this: https://twitter.com/Example/status/12345678910111213 Step 3: Put that link in between two <ref></ref> tags, it should look like this: <ref>https://twitter.com/Example/status/12345678910111213</ref> Now you have your reference! Step 4: Copy that into the article behind the statement saying that it is confirmed for an 8th season, and you're good! Winner 42 Talk to me! 14:12, 9 May 2015 (UTC)

Why is Lyapunov's sonata any less notable than Reubke's?
Both are extremely long. And arguably, Lyapunov's is better constructed, musically speaking. So why is there an article for Reubke's sonata, but not Lyapunov's? Peterw712 (talk) 20:26, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Peterw712:Both sonatas are notable in the day to day sense of the word, but the article on Reubke's sonata, (I'm assuming you are referring to this?) establishes its notability by including significant sources on the subject. In this case an issue of The Musical Times as well as the publication of Julius Reubke (1834-1858), notes to Kevin Bowyer's recording of The 94th Psalm. You just need to find some published works that discuss the sonata and then the article can be published into Wikipedia. See the golden rule. Winner 42 Talk to me! 20:31, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
No I am talking about Reubke's piano sonata, which has no sources. Peterw712 (talk) 01:29, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Peterw712: It does now ;) Wikipedia's policies and its ability to enforce those policies sometimes differ. You still need sources for your article though. (Semi relevant) Winner 42 Talk to me! 01:51, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
I added two sources to my draft, one from allmusic and one from imslp. :) And I still think we are talking about different things - the source you added was for Reubke's organ sonata arranged for solo piano, and not the one in B flat minor that was originally for solo piano. This is the one I'm talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNMWu2_T94g The author of the Reubke piano sonata article seems to be relying on the imslp score (and even his own analysis), so I took the liberty of adding imslp.org as a source. The way I see it, the Reubke piano sonata article shouldn't exist without the Lyapunov piano sonata article existing as well. :/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Peterw712 (talk • contribs) 03:01, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
- Fair enough, you are free to nominate Reubke's piano sonata for deletion if you wish (Minor note though: the source I added does actually mention his sonata in B-minor in the second paragraph, but its not very significant either way). But when I declined your Draft, that wasn't me saying that I don't think that the article shouldn't exist (it should), it was me saying that I think the article needs improvement before publication. I've gone ahead and added a minor reference to your article as well. Winner 42 Talk to me! 03:29, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

- Once editors have very negative opinions of other editors it is best to just to not interact with them. Else you'll just start wasting electrons at ANI and no one wants that. You aren't going to convince anyone with uncivil language, especially un-involved parties. Just my two cents. Winner 42 Talk to me! 01:11, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
Thanks. I'm not going to spend a lot of time studying WP guidelines like for supporting a PhD thesis, it's a) useless with ill-willed editors, since always interpretable, and b) no time for nonsense. But I am more than open to logical arguments and civil BEHAVIOUR. Stalking, stubbornly reverting my well-researched and -argued work on topics which mean something to me but hardly anything to this other guy, is anything but civil. Language is only one, superficial way of staiyng civil.
This said -- I am using the edits I'm doing during my day job, as do other colleagues of mine who find them useful. HOW CAN ONE STOP A STALKER FROM UNDOING GOOD, USEFUL WORK? He's like a spring, I touch any disambiguation page and he jumps immediately to revert it. I touched "Ford", probably his pet project (put common noun and its etymology first, putting the car manufacturer second; capital crime), and he's on me ever since. You seem to be a go-to WP authority, also way calmer than me, maybe you can start some arbitration procedure. Thank you.Arminden (talk) 10:04, 11 May 2015 (UTC)Arminden
- @Arminden: What you have described is case of WP:HOUNDING which is a form of harassment. Although, I have not thoroughly researched your dispute with the other editor, but I'm going to make some advice based on what you have told me. I would consider discussing it with the editor once you are calm while trying to remain Civil, even if they have wronged you. If that is unsuccessful you may want to consider Wikipedia:Dispute resolution such as moderation, mediation, or a third opinion. If this is unsuccessful or if users continue to repeatedly harass you despite your desire for resolution, you may wish to report it to WP:ANI. Winner 42 Talk to me! 14:23, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Winner 42: Many, many thanks for your advice & taking the time! Now it's on me. Cheers, Arminden (talk) 14:53, 11 May 2015 (UTC)Arminden
Latest tech news from the Wikimedia technical community. Please tell other users about these changes. Not all changes will affect you. Translations are available.
Recent changes
- You can now make charts and maps on your wiki with the new "graph" tool. If you have an old browser, you will see images instead. It uses a tool called Vega; you can learn how to use it and write help pages for your wiki. You can use the Vega edit tool to make charts and copy the code to your wiki. Charts and maps use complex code and you should put them into templates. In the future, you will be able to create charts with VisualEditor. [1] [2] [3]
- You can apply for technical jobs to develop tools for the community. [4]
- The logos of all wikis are now in a new place. It will make pages load faster. You can still ask to change the logo. You can also use local CSS for brief changes. [5] [6]
Problems
- There was a problem that caused slow editing. [7]
- Pages were sometimes removed from your watchlist in VisualEditor. This problem is now fixed. [8]
Changes this week
- The new version of MediaWiki has been on test wikis and MediaWiki.org since May 6. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis from May 12. It will be on all Wikipedias from May 13 (calendar).
- You can now use data from Wikidata on more pages. The page doesn't need to be linked to the Wikidata item. It works on a few wikis and more wikis will be added soon. [9] [10]
- You should get fewer errors when you add files to Commons. [11]
- When you use an external link to link to a wiki page, VisualEditor now converts it to a wiki link. [12]
- When you add a link in VisualEditor, you see pages that match what you type. It is now easier to see where they match. [13]
Meetings
- You can join the next meeting with the Editing team. During the meeting, you can tell developers which bugs are the most important. The meeting will be on May 13 at 18:00 (UTC). See how to join.

If you want to correct the page please use reliable sources and discuss the material with other editors at the talk page. Also it appears you may be using multiple accounts on Wikipedia, please do not do this as it is consider disruptive and makes communication difficult (see policy). The things I added had references to other correct Wiki pages. Chemistry is a hard science and a reaction or metabolic system either exists or it doesn't. Unlike religion or politics which are debateable, the progress of biochemistry progresses as experimental techniques allow deeper understanding of existing chemical reactions going on in the many interconnected metabolic systems in the human body. The debate comes when you have to ask the question, "Where do we look next?", not whether the body produces HCN or SCN during the processing of Amygdalin, for instance: "Thiocyanate is produced by the reaction of elemental sulfur or thiosulfate with cyanide:
8 CN− + S8 → 8 SCN− CN− + S2O32− → SCN− + SO32−
The second reaction is catalyzed by the enzyme sulfotransferase known as rhodanase and may be relevant to detoxification of cyanide in the body." This from the Wiki for Thiocyanate, which is correct.

Uploading to Wikicommons on behalf of others
Hi there
You messaged me regarding an image of GKelly Pie and Mash shop that I am trying to display on the Roman Road London page I have created. I'm not sure if this is where I am meant to contact you about this but I'm struggling to understand how to use Wiki.
Many of the shop owners on Roman Road have some fabulous historical photographs of Roman Road back in the early 1900s that they are happy for these to be featured on the Roman Road London wiki page. However they are not able to do this themselves. Many are in their seventies and don't even have an email address. How am I able to upload images to WikiCommons on their behalf?
Kind regards

- @Tabithastapely: To paraphrase Elon Musk, Copyright is hard. The easiest way out is if the photographs were taken before 1923, in that case they are public domain and you can upload them all you want because they are no longer protected by copyright law. If not you can try to get them to fill out a copyright release form which would also release their works into the public domain. Would either of these options work for you? Arthur "Smokestack" Hardy
Thanks for the kind words and encouragement on this article. If there is on thing I'd do, it would be to change the name. Robco311 17:43, 14 May 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by BeeCeePhoto (talk • contribs)
- @BeeCeePhoto: The general policy on Wikipedia is to name articles based on what they are most commonly referred to as. I think Arthur "Smokestack" Hardy would be a better title as well and have taken the liberty of moving it. I noticed you also took a photo from the museum, do you live around there? If so it would be really nice to have more images of artifacts from the museum for use on Wikipedia if you would be willing to donate them. Winner 42 Talk to me! 17:57, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
I was told by the curator that he has plenty of photos not displayed, I am trying to get him to donate some to the commons. Hardy wasn't just a Volley, and while the sentence looks good, 15 black volunteers were actually made 'Fire Auxiliary' and the Baltimore Civil defense trained them in firefighting, (regular white firefighters wouldn't have done that) awarding certificates in 42'. Arthur got his first, so was the first black fireman. They did not get paid. In 49' the auxiliary force, which responded on 3rd alarms, agitated for pay because of the SHC trio. The mayor ok'd a civil service test, and from that test in 52' hired 10 blacks as paid firemen. The Auxiliaries continued to assist, but Hardy, being 50 years old, certainly didn't qualify to be hired as a civil servant. He stayed at Eng Co.13 and was still going to fires at 90. @IamPersistent: No problem, nice job on the article! If you want to improve the article, I recommend looking at the Good Article standards. Getting something to good status is a huge indicator of the quality of that article and of your ability as an editor. I don't mean that you should submit it for review right away, but rather it can be something to work towards. Happy Editing!
Section Prefunded in Bidding Fee Auction.
Winner42, the new section "prefunded bidding fee auction" is a blatant attempt by Miko Lasso to promote the concept behind his website. He is desperately trying to create the false illusion that he has come up with something new but he has been turned down by the patent office. He is the past owner of BidStick, a penny auction site which scammed users and he publically adnmitted to the use of bots. This new venture is his latest con and I don't think Wikipedia should be used to defraud people. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.202.91.119 (talk) 16:24, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
- @71.202.91.119: You seem to be correct, at least for that specific section on Wikipedia (Haven't looked into the person's history), that the section should not be there. In the future you can just say "removing unsourced content" in your edit summery and most editors will agree with your edit. Happy Editing! Winner 42 Talk to me! 16:30, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
Winner42, the poeple deleting the prefunded or buying bids towards an item feature, are penny auction professional. They are affiliated with quibids.com and they are trying to block new technology from coming out to the market place. Their goal is to keep penny auctions running with shills and bots, and not have Facebook bidder authentication. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.153.80.137 (talk) 21:36, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
- @91.153.80.137: If you want the section included in Wikipedia than you will need to provide reliable, independent sources showing its importance. Winner 42 Talk to me! 21:40, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
Google has contacted us regarding the business model. Quibids is trying to block Google and Facebook bidder authentication technlogy from entering the marketplace and you are taking the side of Bots and shills. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.153.80.137 (talk) 21:48, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
- @91.153.80.137: By having a conflict of interest and promoting something on Wikipedia you are, by definition, "a shill". Please follow the COI guild lines I have posted to your talk page. Additionally you still require sources for the section to be included. Winner 42 Talk to me! 21:56, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
Please google the term: penny auction business dilemma. Penny auction business dilemma is commonly known problem in the industry and the only 1click solution to it is prefunding or buying bids towards an item. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.153.80.137 (talk) 21:58, 16 May 2015 (UTC) Prefunding is not really that difficult to understand. In the current model bids are bought towards air. In prefunded model bids are bought by funding items. Only with the prefunded model the auction software can be sure there are atleast 2 potential bidders interested in the auction, hence making bots unnecessary. By you deleting the section you are taking the side of bots and shills. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.153.80.137 (talk) 22:11, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
- @91.153.80.137: Wikipedia is not a place to promote you product, no matter how good it is. You are required to follow the instructions on your talk page regarding conflicts of interest, failure to do so may lead to a removal of editing privileges. Additionally you have continually failed to provide reliable sources demonstrating the notability of prefunded bidding fee auctions until you do so, the section will not be included in Wikipedia. Finally, in regards to your generally uncivil behavior and the wasting of my time, you are hereby banned from my talk page for a period of one year, failure to comply will also result in a removal of editing privileges. A barnstar for you!
The Original Barnstar | |
Greetings Winner_42,
Thank you for your prompt answer regarding my incomplete submission of TONY WILSON: I LIKE YOUR STYLE - I was indeed pleasantly surprised by such a quick answer and I was expecting a 3-4 week waiting period which would've given me enough time to complete the 'story' - I have already done a re-edit but I am still shaky regarding how it should be presented and would be very pleased for any assistance which you or anyone else can offer. I don't know if there is a, sort of, 'save your project before submitting' or anything like that - so I'll keep searching through until I learn how to! Thanking you in advance for any suggestions etc. Regards Shawn Randoo Shawn randoo (talk) 17:04, 16 May 2015 (UTC) |
- @Shawn randoo: Haha, I think this is the first time I've gotten a barnstar for declining someone's draft! The AfC process rarely takes 3-4 weeks, but for some users (particularly if the submission is sourced in a foreign language or is on a highly technical subject), but most of the time people get a response within a week. There is a {{submit}} template on your draft, you can add/remove that depending on whether your draft is ready for review. You draft is saved every time you update the page so there is no need to worry about that. I would recommend you clarify what the article is about in the lead and format it into sections. You also will need footnotes. Hope that helps, and thanks for the barnstar! Winner 42 Talk to me! 22:59, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
RE: Rania Khan
Hi - I note your comment on the deletion discussion for Rania Khan article. You said you were "concerned" that I had misrepresented the consensus of the previous deletion nomination - I don't think you need to be "concerned". There were four votes last time; two of which were "weak" or "very weak". So it was 50% weak at least given the fact one commentator said his keep was "very weak" which should give the weak side additional extra weight. I appreciate this sounds a bit pedantic but it felt like you were criticizing me and accusing me of being deliberately misrepresentive, which I must emphasise was not my intention. Perhaps I should have said "half the people last time thought it was weak or very weak" but I thought just saying people thought it was "weak" was enough to summarize. Aetheling1125 22:49, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Aetheling1125: Apologies for that coming across as overly harsh. I understand that you were acting in good faith, and it was wrong of me to imply that you might be acting maliciously. I think the clarification you have provided does express the point more clearly though. Happy Editing! Winner 42 Talk to me! 23:08, 16 May 2015 (UTC)

- I'm sorry for being a little slow, but it took me some time to figure out what's going on over there. Apparently multiple reliable sources do discuss Flipora without mentioning the malware issue, as recently as in January, but enough sources, though not in quite as high-profile publications as Forbes, confirm that Flipora indeed does more than it should and must be considered malware. I'm surprised that the likes of Forbes would write glowing reviews of malware, but apparently that's precisely what happened. Huon (talk) 00:22, 17 May 2015 (UTC)

Huon I know that you were just doing your job as an admin and it is best to be slow and precise rather than quick and make mistakes. It disturbs me the level of block evasion going on in that article though. It needs full protection as well as blocks handed out to all the accounts evading blocks. Well, it is not a warning for you. I just wanted to ask, why did not you warn that user (Ukvoltaire123)? I would have warned that user, but I don't know which exact level will be suitable.
Hope I don't sound foolish!

- @117.212.138.199: The editor has engaged in a pattern of extremely disruptive behavior that led him to being blocked less than two weeks ago, he has received numerous warnings in the past which have not changed his behavior. He is clearly not here. Warnings exist as a way to discourage and correct disruptive behavior. There is no hope to changing his behavior which is why I went straight to AIV. Brent Bozell
There are no formal sources for the controversy because it was a largely unrecorded, unpublicized commencement speech. Furthermore, I was present at said Commencement as a graduating student, and am quoting him directly in some parts. If in the event a formal source containing video footage is uploaded, or a transcript of the event prepared, I will cite it accordingly. But your removal of my addition is largely unwarranted. It was not vandalism, and it contained the most direct, relevant source to the event. I respect your job of policing articles for unreferenced additions and vandalism, but you cannot possibly expect a direct transcript of the event or a Facebook column as reference to comments I and others were witness to. They were controversial, biggotted comments in front a large audience, and it is important to I and others who had our commencement marred by this speaker that that addition in the controversy section be kept. That being said, if contrasting opinion of a majority from the Commencent is presented, I concede to having the addition deleted.— Preceding unsigned comment added by NAS8984 (talk • contribs) 02:53, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
- @NAS8984: While I understand you are trying to do what's right and I'm not doubting that these comments have been made, Wikipedia requires a very high standard of sources for Biographies of Living People, especially content that could be perceived as negative or critical. Though if it is notable, some news organizations will pick up on the controversy and report on it then. You can then use those as sources. Winner 42 Talk to me! 13:41, 18 May 2015 (UTC)

Reviewing
I'm not sure exactly why I am denied reviewing articles, how many complains did I get. I am aware of the policies. I have had interactions with authors that have been fruitful. I have left comments with out declining articles. I took the advice of peers about finding AFC pending articles that can be declined right away. I've approve good articles. I have worked hard on submitting my own articles. Am I suppose to comment on submissions before making a choice to accept or decline? If I can't review, is it okay for me to help authors by editing their articles and advising them? I've real world experience as a writer on a newspaper, about 1000 edits and nearly 6 months of edits, English is my first language. I've asked for someone to come behind me to aid in my decisions. Is it possible I get a mentor? Can I be on probation? Did I review too many articles a day. I admit I am excited to help with Wilipedia, perhaps too enthusiastic? Thank you. Family Lives On
Hi Winner42,
I was wondering as to what specifically led to the rejection of the Family Lives On Foundation submission?
I did in fact write it in a neutral and encyclopedic voice that I crafted to the best of my ability, there is no 'peacock' terms used as far as I can see. The only things I would omit would be the phrase 'special feeling' from the Tradition Program and bringing up the fact that Family Lives On Foundation is the only bereavement support tool under Addressing Unmet Needs.
Everything else is as neutral and encyclopedic as can be.
If you have suggestions as to the article, it'd be greatly appreciated but I must urge that the article cannot be changed significantly from where it is at presently.
Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Clemendove99 (talk • contribs) 02:14, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for looking over the Nequa or Problem of the Ages article.
I started on this article over a year ago and was constantly criticized for unreliable sources. The unreliable sources were never pointed out so it became for me a guessing game. Since any source covered by Worldcat is supposedly reliable I used it to check my references. If you have time would you look at the original and critique it so that some learning might take place on my part? Thanks for looking the final copy over. Giant Green Snake (talk) 15:20, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Giant Green Snake: No problem, a lot of AfC reviewers have the philosophy that if they see one unreliable source (such as that questionable wordpress blog) they decline the whole article. There are clearly enough reliable sources here to establish notability though so I accepted it. I would recommend splitting some of the sections into paragraph sized chunks to improve readability. I would also add a few more wikilinks to the article, to articles such as Feminist science fiction. (Be careful not to go over board though). Winner 42 Talk to me! 15:41, 19 May 2015 (UTC)

info deleted may 20
Hello Winner 42 I am responding to your message re: deletion of material from Doug O'Neill Wikipedia page. We are first time users, and didn't realize we needed to provide explanation. I am a personal rep for Mr. O'Neill and we recently discovered erroneous and inflammatory information based on references citing noncredible or biased reporting. We would like that information removed before referring to counsel. Is there some way you can take care of this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by V8sonny (talk • contribs) 20:58, 20 May 2015 (UTC)
- First, you will need to find reliable independent sources that show that these claims are not accurate, this may be difficult as the sources, such as the Associated press, for the content you were removing are considered reliable. You will also need to read the conflict of interest guidelines that I have posted on your user page as you appear to have one. Winner 42 Talk to me! 21:11, 20 May 2015 (UTC)
If I explain errors in my summary with credible reasons, citing facts and supporting each revision, will they be taken seriously? — Preceding unsigned comment added by V8sonny (talk • contribs) 21:18, 20 May 2015 (UTC)
- Per the policy at WP:NOPR, you should "use the article talk pages (visit the article in question—then click the 'talk' button at the top of the page) to suggest changes, or the {{request edit}} template to request edits (see WP:TEAHOUSE if you have questions about these things). You should provide full disclosure of your connection, when using talkpages, making edit requests, and similar. Requested edits are subject to the same editorial standards as any other edit, and other editors may decline to act on them." Winner 42 Talk to me! 21:25, 20 May 2015 (UTC)

We now have the New York Times, the Washington Post, the LA Times and NPR (each with slightly different opinions) as well as the AP. That should do the trick. Hi Winner42, I see that you had posted on the talk of the user from ipaddress 116.202.32.123 to explain his/her rationale for removing the allegations against the person in question that were reported in a credible newspaper. Instead of either providing evidence showing that those allegations have not been made against the person, there is no FIR against the person, there was not CBI case against the person, this user has decided to engage in edit warring by deleting the negative information (which is not incorrect and is properly cited) and has undone changes repeatedly ([[21]]). Self-Healing Materials
Dear Winner 42, I am contacting you in response to the Articles for Creation: Self-Healing Materials rejection as of may 13th. The background of the effort to write this Wikipedia contribution: We are a group of 15 PhD fellows all working together in the EU Marie-Curie Research Training network on "Self-Healing Materials - from Concepts to Market", covering various material classes that are designed for an increased sustainability by providing a strategy for self-repair. This is an active area of materials research and currently the first examples of materials with improved self-repair find their way into application. During one of our last meetings we found that the existing Wikipedia Article on "Self-Healing Materials" covers only a very small area of the existing material classes: it is indeed concentrated on polymers only. However, there a far more classes of materials that are currently developed for self-healing capability. As such, we combined our efforts to write an article that covers more classes of materials, including ceramics, metals, asphalt, concrete, composites, ... Our suggestion is the following: The existing page is actually a quite nice sum up for Self-Healing Polymers and should be renamed accordingly. Simultaneously, the new article can be uploaded as "Self-Healing Materials" and will contain also a link on the page more specializing on the polymer aspect.
What do you think? FilipeBSilva (talk) 12:53, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
- @FilipeBSilva: That's an interesting idea which I don't see anything wrong with. It seems like your draft does cover the topic more broadly, you might want to consider proposing a merge of the existing article and your draft with the proposal including the moving of information about self healing polymers moved off to its own article. I'm not a subject expert so I'm going to use caution seeing what more knowledgeable editors think. Winner 42 Talk to me! 03:21, 28 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
I am requesting a re-review of Family Lives On Foundation article from Clemendove99.
I read the review of writing about 'heartbreaking stories' and I tweaked the article as much as I can to ensure it is absolutely not on that path. The remainder of the content is 100% neutral, 100% informative, and 100% accurate with no emotional language used after my revision.
Like other non-profits that support sensitive issues, there will be some sort of background that involves death. There is zero changing in that matter, and I have written the article delicately to ensure you and Wiki audiences that it is for informative purposes. There is no possible way it can be changed that can be improved at being informative at this point, as far as I know.
The foundation is unique and has Wikipedia-worthy material in how they help kids in the grieving process and their initiatives have drawn media attention slowly.
Thank you for your time.

How do I add information to an account with cited sources? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.0.161.127 (talk) 01:45, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
Just received Welcome message.
Thank you for your invitation to become a registered contributor to Wikipedia. I don't wish to join WP formally because there's a lot about it which is not admirable, especially some of the people.
I've dabbled in WP for over 2 years, and done a few thousand very minor edits.
WP seems an echo of real life. People who get into positions of authority are not those who are competent or have good judgment, but those who are energetic, ambitious and power-hungry.
1) There are a noticeable number of editors I would describe as WikiFascists or WikiFundamentalists. People who find some rule, and interpret it stringently, and sometimes wrongly, to delete other peoples' stuff. The page Wikipedia:Avoiding_common_mistakes says "Wikipedia does not employ hard-and-fast rules".
2) Be Bold - Gives a "Go Ahead" message to any twirp to instantly delete stuff that took me half an hour to type in.
3) Silly Nicknames. Weird fonts, multi-colours, animations, etc. Huge lists of Barnstars. Conan the Barbarian, Ghengis Khan, Adolf Hitler, etc.
4) Notability. I've made a few dozen additions to List_of_former_BBC_newsreaders_and_journalists. Some college boy from Kansas - User:Corkythehornetfan - has taken it upon himself to immediately delete any entries which he considers "not notable" (ie. Don't already have their own WP page); Although Notability#Stand-alone_lists states "The entirety of the list does not need to be documented in sources for notability".
5) Another list in International_Textbook_Company. Someone has typed in a long table of published books, I've spent time correcting the spelling, but User:207.93.13.145 has deleted all 45000 chars of it, twice.
6) County Names in Britain. Some of these existed before 1066, most were created before 1300. Some of them were abolished as administrative areas in 1974. And a few people are now purging these "no-longer-valid" names from WP.
7) Technical information on eg. Computers. Some people think this doesn't belong in WP. To me, it's the most useful thing here.
8) Orphan pages. My attempts to link to these from other pages are sometimes rejected.
9) Red links. Some people don't like these, and will systematically delete them.
10) LGBT. I had no idea what this meant. I found a list of Category:LGBT_politicians_from_England, read about Marina Baker's career as politician and pinup in Playboy magazine, but didn't see any evidence that she was L,G,B, or T. The page on Bradley Manning is weird. The LGBT faction seems very prominent in Wikipedia.
11) Politics. Despite the directives to assume good faith and resolve differences by consensus, some users are very confrontational. There is a User:Linas who seems to have contributed a lot of clever stuff on Mathematics, but has been banned. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.168.56.238 (talk) 17:40, 28 May 2015 (UTC)

- I sent it to "I dream of Horses" a month or two ago. I'm thinking adding a new paragraph. 12) People who keen on Sport should not be allowed to edit any other subject. 86.168.56.238 (talk) 18:09, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
- Ok, must have read it there. What you have described above is mostly accurate, these are largely problems with Wikipedia, but there are no easy solutions. People will always have different opinions and will act accordingly, sometimes in their own self interest. At the end of the day though, the systems Wikipedia has in place are all there for a reason, and if you have any suggestions for policy changes that you think would fix these problems, feel free to propose them. - Fair enough, there is still some close paraphrasing from the nba site though, which I'm certain doesn't copy from Wikipedia. See [27]. I'll decline the speedy and tag it instead. Winner 42 Talk to me! 15:00, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
- In looking at the link you provided, the first "violation suspected" is from a mirror of the original Wikipedia article (so yes, they're going to be the same since this was all just moved), but the NBA.com source, I'm not seeing it. A lot of the "similar paraphrasing" that contributes to the score is from basic terms like "Central Division", "assists per game", "In the Eastern Conference Finals", or "in the first round of the playoffs". I'm not seeing large sections or even whole sentences that were lifted from the NBA.com site into the existing history section and, in turn, the new History article. Yes both Wikipedia articles need work, but in this case, I disagree with the tool's conclusion that the new article (and the section it was copied from in Cleveland Cavaliers#History) is even close to a copyright violation. --JonRidinger (talk) 15:16, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
