Request on 13:32:35, 4 December 2020 for assistance on AfC submission by Lagoona6
Hello! I am contacting you in terms of letting you know that I believe my article has been declined unfairly by you. This person is fairly notable in Estonia and also in UK by having appearances in TV/Film, Cinema/Amazon/Netflix/Sky Movies and Fite.tv which is one of the highest grossing wrestling platform. This platform is also used by AEW. Please check the references which I have provided. These references also include official, notable national newspapers/magazines with added interviews with this person. I do strongly believe it was declined unfairly, therefore I felt I had to give you a little bit of explanation. Thank you! Hope you are having a great day
Lagoona6 (talk) 13:32, 4 December 2020 (UTC) Hello! First of all I want to let you know if you receive two messages I apologize and I believe I didn't press publish when I sent it first time. Basically this article was decline by you and I believe it was declined unfairly because this person (not me) is definitely notable. Please check all the references which I have provided. It includes notable national newspapers/magazines with added interviews. This person has appeared on TV/Film/Cinema, Netflix, Amazon Prime Movies, Sky Movies just to name a few. I have actuelly seen it myself which is the reason why I created this article as I couldn't find a wikipedia page for this person. So had to do some digging myself. I'm pretty sure I have seen him on advertisements aswell but not too sure about this one. Anyway, just wanted to ask you to review it again and check the references. I also added fite.tv reference which is one of the most notable wrestling networks out there. Thank you very much! Have a great day!Lagoona6 (talk) 13:45, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
Lagoona6 (talk) 13:45, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
- Lagoon6 - This person does not meet our general notability guidelines by what has been shown here. Someone appearing on notable things doesn't make them notable. See our policy on notability not being inherited. There wrestling career is completely irrelevant, and not notable in any way. Appearing for a tiny independent fed means very little, and is completely cited to source material and a non-reliable source blog. The rest of the sources talk about the things they are in, but do not talk about the subject much, if at all. As a reminder, articles need the subject to have "significant coverage in reliable and independent sources".
- In addition, when going through WP:AfC, you should retain the comments by reviewers. We do not do this role for our comments to be deleted. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 14:19, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

New Page Patrol December Newsletter
Hello Lee Vilenski/Archives/2020,
- Year in review
It has been a productive year for New Page Patrol as we've roughly cut the size of the New Page Patrol queue in half this year. We have been fortunate to have a lot of great work done by Rosguill who was the reviewer of the most pages and redirects this past year. Thanks and credit go to JTtheOG and Onel5969 who join Rosguill in repeating in the top 10 from last year. Thanks to John B123, Hughesdarren, and Mccapra who all got the NPR permission this year and joined the top 10. Also new to the top ten is DannyS712 bot III, programmed by DannyS712 which has helped to dramatically reduce the number of redirects that have needed human patrolling by patrolling certain types of redirects (e.g. for differences in accents) and by also patrolling editors who are on on the redirect whitelist.

9 | Hughesdarren (talk) | 4,520 | Patrol Page Curation |
10 | Utopes (talk) | 3,958 | Patrol Page Curation |
- Reviewer of the Year
John B123 has been named reviewer of the year for 2020. John has held the permission for just over 6 months and in that time has helped cut into the queue by reviewing more than 18,000 articles. His talk page shows his efforts to communicate with users, upholding NPP's goal of nurturing new users and quality over quantity.
- NPP Technical Achievement Award
As a special recognition and thank you DannyS712 has been awarded the first NPP Technical Achievement Award. His work programming the bot has helped us patrol redirects tremendously - more than 60,000 redirects this past year. This has been a large contribution to New Page Patrol and definitely is worthy of recognition.
Six Month Queue Data: Today – 2262 Low – 2232 High – 10271

Cite Unseen update
Hello! Thank you for using Cite Unseen. The script recently received a significant update, detailed below.
- You can now toggle which icons you do or don't want to see. See the configuration section for details. All icons are enabled by default except for the new generally reliable icon (described below).
- New categorizations/icons:
- Advocacy: Organizations that are engaged in advocacy (anything from political to civil rights to lobbying). Note that an advocacy group can be reliable; this indicator simply serves to note when a source's primary purpose is to advocate for certain positions or policies, which is important to keep in mind when consuming a source.
- Editable: Sites that are editable by the public, such as wikis (Wikipedia, Fandom) or some databases (IMDb, Discogs).
- Predatory journals: These sites charge publication fees to authors without checking articles for quality and legitimacy.
- Perennial source categories: Cite Unseen will mark sources as generally reliable, marginally reliable, generally unreliable, deprecated, and blacklisted. This is based on Wikipedia's perennial sources list, which reflects community consensus on frequently discussed sources. Sources that have multiple categorizations are marked as varied reliability. Note that generally reliable icons are disabled by default to reduce clutter, but you can enable them through your custom config. A special thanks to Newslinger, whose new Sourceror API provides the perennial sources list in a clean, structured format.
- With the addition of the new categorizations, the biased source icon has been removed. This category was very broad, and repetitive to the new advocacy and perennial sources categorizations that are more informative.
If you have any feedback, requested features, or domains to add/remove, don't hesitate to bring it up on the script's talk page. Thank you! ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 23:10, 20 December 2020 (UTC)

'Tis the season
Enjoy the holiday season, and thanks for your work to maintain, improve and expand Wikipedia. It's been a wild year, and I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your contributions and for the role you play in making Wikipedia as good as it can be. It was a pleasure interacting with you this year. Congrats on your work in the Wikicup, and thanks for being so helpful to me, with the GA drive and an RFA. Though I still don't know what Snooker is, it looks like you're doing great work in the area. I wish you and your loved ones all the best this December and in the years to come.
