Speedy deletion nomination of Munini Hospital
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Munini Hospital, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. DJRSD (talk) 16:25, 17 July 2021 (UTC)
Munini Hospital is just a public hospital in Rwanda. This article doesn’t advertise and this hospital is important. Hirwa94 (talk) 16:42, 17 July 2021 (UTC)

- Dear fellow Wikipedia Lover,
- It is so unfortunate that Wikipedia encourages people from low resourced countries to put their contents online only to be discouraged by people like you. You guys put your kindergartens schools on Wikipedia but I can't put information related to the biggest Public University in the country.
- What you call reputable sources is what? Do you know what is reputable to Rwandans and Africans? Does everything needs to be seen in your neo-colonial angle?
- Never get to understand what is the motivation of Wikipedia when encouraging local creators to writ about their countries. Hirwa94 (talk) 15:08, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for signing up to the drive. However, to review pages you must have a certain permission that requires some mandatory criteria (i.e., more than 500 edits to mainspace) that you currently do not meet. Therefore, I have removed you from the list, but feel free to participate in other areas. Happy editing. VickKiang (talk) 07:51, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

- I give up. You can go ahead and delete the entry. You guys have your kindergartens school uploaded but you can's stand our universities. You call our institutions and News Paper unreliable but when we provide even the Western Based News report you label them unsatisfactory, unreliable, unverifiable.
- Please meditate if your are doing the right thing. Ask yourself, what do I know to determine that such content written in thousands of Kilometers is not notable? Do you know our context?
- Anyway, thank you. Hirwa94 (talk) 18:02, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
- I have no idea what you are referring to here, but I declined the draft because it reads like an advertisement, the topic may well be notable. Theroadislong (talk) 18:09, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
- We have no problem having an article about your university if it meets the criteria that every other article about a university or organization must meet. As this is a volunteer project where people do what they can when they can, it is possible for other inappropriate articles to get by us. We can only address what we know about. We could use help in identifying inapprorpiate articles, if you are interested. If you've seen an article about a kindergarten school that clearly does not meet notability guidelines(see WP:ORG), please nominate it for deletion. This has nothing to do with Africa or your race, of which we really have no certainty about what it might be.
- You claimed the logo as your own personal work. Did you personally create the logo to the university, and do you really want to make it available for anyone to use for any purpose with attribution? 331dot (talk) 19:15, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
- I am only a volunteer. The logo was uploaded before I really understand copy rights issues. For your last question, NO. Hirwa94 (talk) 19:18, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

- You keep accusing reviewers of "anti-African sentiment" etc., saying "you guys have your kindergartens there", and so on, and doing that here, at the AfC help desk, and the Teahouse, and when I ask you to pipe down you have the cheek to say you're not attacking anyone. Really? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:09, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- Did I attack you? Since when raising my concerns is a form of attack?
- Since when speaking my mind is an attack? Isn't a fact that some westerners have bias against the quality of work produced from Africa? Don't you know this? Let me provide you with references: https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsandsoda/2018/03/26/597067628/scientists-in-africa-wonder-if-theres-bias-against-their-research
- Isn't a fact that westners have their kindergarden on wikipedia while african universities struggle to get your approval? dou you want me to give you examples?
- Are these facts constitute an attack in your eyes? Hirwa94 (talk) 16:21, 4 October 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rwandan. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
