Regarding Draft: Daniel W. Greear

[edit]

Hey there, Bkissin. I'm trying to understand why my article Draft: Daniel W. Greear was rejected. Please let me know how it reads like an advertisement. Thank you [[User: tjbrown1302|tjbrown1302

draft:South Richland

[edit]

before it was wiped i moved it to my sandbox to work on it, and change the parts that needed to be changed like how it sounded like a advertisement and added more reliable sources. then I forgot about it, and like 3 months later the user I dream of horses moved it from my sandbox to a draft (this is were the message was --> User talk:Average USA patriot) so I decided to work on it some more, and here we are now. Donald Trump Draft dialogue

[edit]

NOTE: 'I was not sure what talk page to put this info on-- So I am doing both (let me know if thats okay for future reference)'

Draft: Donald Trump Rally Talk Page Conversation

"Was just wondering what sources would meet the requirements? I had provided multiple mainstream sources including Associated Press, KOMO, Seattle PI, KING 5 (NBC Affiliate), Seattle Times, and more of which directly covered the event and not just in passing mentions, but the entirety of those articles are regarding this specific event. It being a 2016 US Presidential Election backed article should be enough in itself, right?, as the goal of Wikipedia is to bookmark notable events first and foremost--I believe a historical event about one of the most influential and consequential leaders of our time (Good or bad) is worth having on the main space in the name of preserving written history.-- was hoping to start a dialogue about this @BKissin" Gonzafer001 (talk) 05:12, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Banners

[edit]

Hi there. Just to let you know that if you add {{WikiProject United States|NE=yes}} then you don't also need to add {{WikiProject Nebraska}} because it produces the same template — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 11:32, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Recent AFC review

[edit]

Is there a reason why you accepted Catherine Nzuzi wa Mbombo? It's improperly sourced as I can see 5 statements without sources. Notability isn't an issue because there is at least 2 reliable and independent sources though. Cowboygilbert - (talk) ♥ 02:18, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Draft:The_Temple,_County_Down

[edit]

Hi Bkissin,

Thank you for the feedback on the Draft article I created for The Temple, County Down.

For your comment, "This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources", are you able to clarify more on this? Is there a particular piece of information I have given which is missing a source?

If so I can fix that and republish it.

Thanks! SecondTune (talk) 16:12, 6 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Renuka Mayadev

[edit]

hello @Bkissin, as the election has passed, would my draft on legislator elect Renuka Mayadev be able to be approved? Talthiel (talk) 15:41, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done! Thanks for reminding me. Please add the article from the Daily Cardinal saying she won, otherwise it's all good. Bkissin (talk) 16:42, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:09, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The article about the mosque in Ingolstadt

[edit]

Hello, I wanted to ask you why my draft was declined. I saw that you reasoned it with "the sources being unreliable", however that is not true. That is literally the official website of the mosque and I also can't write things myself without checking them as I do not live in the same area as the mosque. Please review it again or explain to me why the draft was declined, as the sources being unreliable is not true. Viceskeeni2 (talk) 06:34, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That is the problem, the only sources cited are from the mosque itself. Of course the mosque thinks it's notable! Wikipedia cares about what reliable secondary sources say about the Mosque. Are their any German or Turkish news sources that talk about the Mosque in-depth? Any scholarly articles or books that cover the history of the mosque? Work from there and see if you can build on the foundation you have created. Bkissin (talk) 20:24, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Just took a look at it for the first time since declining. Thank you Viceskeeni2 for adding more sources. If you can find more like the Donaukurier article, I'll accept. Bkissin (talk) 20:26, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
