@Kusma your reasoning make absolute sense in the absence of another Sultan Hassan. But can you please take a look to this page Deria Hassan and Sultan al-Nasir Hasan and I think you will see why I removed Sultan Hassan (who is a contemporary figure). That's not how you should write things, if you mean you do that in Wikipedia. If you like to do it in an external editor, that's fine, but the process you describe introduces copyright violations. While some editors might be under the impression that intermediate versions don't matter and everything is fine as long as the intermediate copyright violations are cleaned up, that's not the case. Please stop moving main space articles to Draft space. You don't know what you are doing. You are not using the proper scripts, you are not notifying page creators of the moves, I don't think you have any idea of why some articles are draftified. Thanks btw, for calling me "the guy for putting Sudanese culture on the map", which is of course, exactly my aim and pleasure. But, you, too, are doing a great job in researching and writing many good articles on African and Sudanese scientists or artists, like on Mohamed Nureldin Abdallah or Salah Ibn al Badia. If ever you find a source ascertaining that the singer Ibrahim of Aswat Almadina is his son, as I have been told several times, this fact would be useful for his father's article. - Generally speaking, I think our cooperation to share information and help for articles on Sudanese culture is very useful. My Arabic is not good enough to to research in that language, but I sometimes gain interesting information and sources from French or German publications. In order not to make mistakes in my copyediting of your pages, I will try to save them in short steps, so if there is anything you want to revert or correct, it will not be difficult for you. And the same applies to your changes or comments of my articles, of course. @Munfarid1 Ibrahim is definitely not Salah son’s, maybe his grandson. Ibn Albadya is pseudo family name and it’s taken only by ibn Albadya descendants (Abu Qroon is the big family name)

Yes, It’s far away from being mainspace material. There sections that need more work especially the one about domestic abuse and child marriage. There also a need for a section about marriage to non muslims, the islamic law applied to the other non muslim minorities in the country. It’s a really huge topic

I do not think an editor providing a reason as "fuck all" showed be accepted and I should not ask to back down when someone is not willing to be civil. @Bilorv: Thanks for the question, the point of contention was stylistic as discussed in the talk. A new editor came and made the same complain but without consulting the page talk while using provocative language. I was adding sources to address another editor tags which they explained in the talk when the provocative editor reverted my edit but now was a reason. I was about to take them to the page talk saw this. Again in both incidents I was the one pushing for diplomacy

as for the profanity, I do not think it helps. It is provocative and no reason was given beyond the provocation. I do not think you will like my answer if I used "fuck" and "shit". It just sounds angry and toxic to say the least FuzzyMagma (talk) 19:51, 4 June 2023 (UTC)

If FuzzyMagma wants to further discuss my use of 'fuck-all' in an edit summary, that is fine by me, since it will bring further light on the context: a revert of an edit made by FuzzyMagma with an utterly bogus edit summary. This follows an earlier incident, where FuzzyMagma made a demonstrably false claim regarding the use of an utterly-inappropriate source during the AfD discussion. [4][5][6] I am of the opinion that an indefinite block per WP:CIR would be entirely worthy of consideration, and I strongly suspect that others may share my opinion. I might disagree with you on alot of things, even the way you conduct yourself, as I see it as toxic and erosive, but going on limp to get me banned is really strange. As for WP:CIR, I have faced similar kind of "otherness" but I am really baffled now. As if we examined CIR which requires the "ability to read and write English well enough" which I think I can.

Let's analyze this string of five reverts around the same item (so two over 3RR) in response to JPxG's removal (which JPxG initially described as a copyedit which admittedly was not a good enough summary): 1 I will add the BBC ref for this infromation. Please tag rather delete to allow for a chance to amend /starts edit warring/; 2 ce /fake edit summary in relation to JPxG's subsequent more detailed revert rationale/; 3 /an entirely nonsensical edit summary/; 4 use a civil language please and provide a reason more than "fuck all" /but JPxG had already provided a reason that FuzzyMagma did not address and he's reverting what is originally JPxG's removal, so this is a false edit summary, and an attempt to evade discussion/; 5 /an irrelevant or nonexistent edit summary for a bundled-edit fifth revert/. So, in addition to what AndyTheGrump said: Due to making fake and false and irrelevant and nonsensical edit summaries during a content dispute, while edit warring, it seems to me that FuzzyMagma is not able to handle content disputes, and is probably not capable of staying constructive when it really counts, so I agree that it would be useful to extend the block to an indefinite duration.—Alalch E. 20:31, 4 June 2023 (UTC)

You created a talk section after JPxG's longer rationale countering his reasons for why the information should be removed, and ten minutes later, before he would respond, you reverted with the edit summary "ce". How is it "ce" if you're obviously having a content dispute? That's why I am calling it a fake edit summary, but maybe you think that it's okay to describe such an edit as a copyedit. It is not okay. Going further, it does not matter that 4 is another editor. That's why you don't edit war against multiple editors; it's not a series of duels, it doesn't matter who your "opponent" is, it matters what the decision will be regarding content.
