This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Moor Beer, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.moorbeer.co.uk/about_us.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. Notability of Moor Beer
A tag has been placed on Moor Beer requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Monkeytheboy (talk) 00:43, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Aye, indeed. Apologies if they're coming a bit thick and fast again, but I'm starting to feel like I'd like to get them finished sometime this lifetime. How people tell the damn things apart I'll never know; all I ever see is a pair of wings and some fuzzy bits before I squash them into oblivion. --User:AlbertHerring Io son l'orecchio e tu la bocca: parla! 02:33, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Aaron Neville album
I've never had anyone mention that the 'stub' wasn't up to scratch in my other musician page creations. Anyhow, I'm happy to partially oblige. Now, as I can see from some other websites, there's some mention of Aaron covering Randy Newman's "Louisana 1927", "Everyone plays the fool" written by K. Williams, R. Clark, J.R. Bailley, "It Feels Like Rain" was written by John Hiatt, "Somewhere, Somebody" written by Max Gronenthal, Andrew David Kastner, Larry John McNally, "Don't Go Please Stay", written by Burt Bacharach, Bob Hilliard, "With You In Mind" written by Allen Toussaint, "That's The Way She Loves" written by Allen Toussaint, "Angola Bound" written by Aaron Neville, Charles Neville, "Close Your Eyes" written by Chuck Willis, "La Vie Dansante" written by Jimmy Buffett, Michael Utley, Will Jennings, "Warm Your Heart" written by Tom Dowd, Jerry Wexler, Ahmet Ertegun, "I Bid You Goodnight" a traditional Bahamian gospel song, "Ave Maria" seems to be a traditional song. Try0yrt (talk) 10:28, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Okay, then, silly me I suppose, Thanks for that. Try0yrt (talk) 10:35, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Well, you've certainly upgraded the page to a high level, I have to admit, a job well done indeed. Whether I could fill in the details very well myself, is something I very much doubt, probably don't have such patience for that. I've put up the discography for ease of access, I suppose, and making the page was to highlight an album that is quite worth (in my opinion) enough to listen to. I guess this is a sort of unequal partnership of getthing the page to 'noteworthy' status. I didn't do much or the bulk of it. Ta, and perhaps we'll chance some other time to contribute on an article that we both can contribute well upon. Try0yrt (talk) 13:34, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Yeah - I'm trying to do it quietly, and not overload the system. If it's any consolation, apparently I'm on a couple of bots' auto-patrol lists, so you can always hide the patrolled edits when you're patrolling. That might help matters some. --User:AlbertHerring Io son l'orecchio e tu la bocca: parla! 19:16, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

I didn't want to pile on too much at the AfD, but just to answer your comment: Reisz was speedied, and duly deleted, as was Morier-Genoud, and the author was advised to read WP:PROF, but he just re-created them and added more, so I thought it best to go to AfD and sort them all out together. Sorry if I was a little incivil. I'm just angered by people who think "all charted singles are notable" and refuse to have them redirected, when WP:NSONGS clearly says that any stub about a song may be redirected. Do you have any objection to a redirect, as this is clearly never getting beyond stub status? My main concern is lack of sources. I had a hand at further expansion. Hope it meets with your approval. Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. as for influences, obviously im just telling you who we're influenced by, though i have said these before in interviews that i could probably get you.
but to be honest i'll probably give up.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we must insist that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Franciszek Przysiężniak. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Question
For this, you stated neutral. However, you provided more evidence that there was no sources on the matter. Notability requires third party sources. We don't even know how "short" this "short film" is. Isn't that strong justification that the page should not exist? Ottava Rima (talk) 14:39, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
- Could you notify them, then? I have already exhausted google books and the rest on the matter. Wikipedia seems to be the primary source of information on the internet. Ottava Rima (talk) 14:44, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Got it on the list....
Apparently there is a need to verify the particpation of the notable individuls per point 2 of Wikipedia:NF#Other_evidence_of_notability. WP:NTEMP is being forgotten, as some editors seem to act as if the GNG supercedes all other notability guideline when it actually doesn't. The top of the page at Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Film tells how to add articles to an AfD list for films. Each Wikiproject's page shows how to add to their list. Kinda easy actualy once you get the hang of it. Oh... I did make sure to give the author of the article a courtesy notice. MichaelQSchmidt (talk) 16:47, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

- You are not welcome here. Go away. I don't need to. Stop trolling and go away. Reverted to revision 306969051 by Esradekan; actually, lets just cut this crap out - it's unrelated to the deletion discussion - if you want to insult me use my talk page. removed trolling totally irrelevant to the deletion discussion Michig got away with all of that because everybody sided with him at ANI. That was on this account. I wonder where he read the invisible insult at. Joe Chill (talk) 21:23, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
- I find your berating of people who have a differing point of view than yours invalid. The !vote stands, it is not invalid and you can go read WP:AGF and WP:DICK until the cows come home. Do you know what I have been doing while you have been rambling on and making a mockery of this AfD? From NeutralHomer on this account. Everyone said that it wasn't a personal attack.
- I believe you are truly more intelligent than that. From Edison on this account. He got away with it because everyone said that it wasn't a personal attack.
- Joe, I'd like to point out you're coming across as the Wikipedia equivalent of the grumpy old man who comes out on his front porch and yells at the neighborhood kids who step on his lawn. From Hullaballoo Wolfowitz on this account. Everyone said that it wasn't a personal attack.
- Harasser Imnotacoolguy harassed me with sockpuppets and no admin would help me because I didn't explain the problem in an essay at ANI.This is on my other account.
I have a hatred of most admins because of all their horrible work in ANI, AFD, their talk pages, how they block people when they shouldn't, and how they choose their favorite editors and will defend them no matter what. Joe Chill (talk)

Squeezing through CSD
Hi Dylan! Thanks for your delete vote at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Russian athlete. I initially felt the same way you seem to feel about it: It's crazy; someone just spent a minute for something as unnotable as this, and we have to spend several minutes to purge it. But now I see it differently: If that's crazy, then it's just as crazy as life itself. For me, that's what makes life - and working at Wikipedia - interesting. The border between right and wrong is fractal, like the edge of the Mandelbrot set. There are some areas that are clearly in the set, and some that are clearly outside, but the interesting thing happens at the border. A drink just happens to be one of those topics that may be notable, or it may be something somebody just made up in a minute. You don't know without investing some time. CSD is intentionally just for no-brainer cases. We could refine our criteria, but that would make them less of a no-brainer overall. I think the way it is is good enough. Cheers! — Sebastian 15:13, 12 September 2009 (UTC) (I stopped watching this page. If you would like to continue the talk, please do so here and ping me.)

Dwarves redirects
I made the attempt to compromise and save everyone the trouble. I offered to withdraw the AfD's on the Dwarves albums if Michig wanted to redirect them. [1]. He has refused. Niteshift36 (talk) 20:04, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- There is nothing pointy about it. I guessed (correctly) that some editors would oppose redirects based on small reviews or trivial mentions. Past experience has shown me that fans go in and just undo redirects, even if a discussion on the talk page agreed. I didn't set out to nom them all at first. I stumbled across one of their albums and it was like pulling on a thread, every one I went to had the same problems. So rather than just ignore it and make it someone elses problem, I made the noms. Niteshift36 (talk) 20:29, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- WP:NALBUMS says they may be reidrected, not must. I think they should be deleted, but I was willing to shortcut the process and agree to a redirect. Sorry if you don't approve, but I feel the nom is legit and that I made the effort to compromise. Niteshift36 (talk) 20:59, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Projectionist Page
As I understand it from my reading of the helps pages in Wikipedia, there is a proper dispute process to go through if you disagree with the contents of a page. I note you have effectively deleted the projectionist page without undergoing any of this due process. Normally you are supposed to tag the page with flags denoting your concerns and leave comments in the discussion page in order that the author(s) can address them. Please do not effectively vandalise this page by deleting it. OldProjectionist (talk) 06:17, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
Noted your comments on original research. I have read some of the material on this and need a bit of time to read the rest. Some comments to date:
Some of the original research material seems to indicate that the only way we can author an article is to literally cut and paste from other sources. Surely this would lead to plagiarism problems?
I admit that the article is in one sense original research based on talking to many projectionists over many years and visiting many projection boxes. I found literature on the topic very hard to come by. There is of course a lot of highly technical literature sure as Richardson's Blue Book of Projection and the SMPTE publications but these are all very technical. The original article set out to detail what a projectionist is and does. However, it originally had too much jargon. I don't think it had any references either. I re-wrote it to remove the jargon.
In another sense it is not original research in that I have not introduced any new theories or suppositions but only re-iterated what is common knowledge in the industry obtained verbally from industry sources.
I need more guidance on what constitutes original research with respect to Wikipedia. If the only acceptable articles are based on cut and paste of other written material then I guess Wikipedia is not the place for this article. If articles can conform if they comply with current industry knowledge even where written material is sparse then it should be OK.
I will try to find some supporting material on the internet where I can. We could also put a comment in the discussion section asking others if they have know of any suitable references that are relevant

While redirects can be discussed on the talk page, redirects are a typical outcome of a deletion discussion. It isn't too hard to read through the nomination and see what rationale for deletion was given.
I'd strongly suggest you to undo your NAC of the AFD and let it continue. If not, let me know and I'll take it to deletion review. tedder (talk) 17:54, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
- Redirects should be discussed on the talk page first, which it hasn't been. Since you aren't advancing an argument for deletion, the discussion does not belong at Articles for Deletion. While a redirect is a common outcome at AfD, that because consensus has come up with a better alternative than the nomination:- since you already believe redirect to be the best option, why not discuss it at the correct venue? Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 18:02, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
- See Wikipedia:Speedy keep#Applicability carefully; I assume you were invoking the first reason, though you didn't meet all of the criteria of it. tedder (talk) 18:03, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
Deletion review for Bellingham Bells
An editor has asked for a deletion review of Bellingham Bells. Because you closed the deletion discussion for this page, speedily deleted it, or otherwise were interested in the page, you might want to participate in the deletion review. tedder (talk) 18:04, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry but that was really a pants NAC. Speedy keeping something that has only just been listed and has not been properly discussed is never going to fly and superimposes your opinion on top of the participants of the discussion - or in this case the potential participants as you never gave them a chance to comment. NAC are for non-controversial closes and this is never going to be that. I have reversed your AFD close and closed the DRV. The irony being that I am not currently an admin but I know which way this would go. Spartaz Humbug! 19:13, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
- The irony being that you've just inappropriately closed a DRV, and in the process had a pop at me appropriately closing an AfD? Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 19:24, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
- yeah, I know, but any passing admin can overule me if they choose and my being an admin only requires me to make a request at BN for the bit to flipped back. Spartaz Humbug! 19:27, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

Copyright violations
Hi, Dylanfromthenorth. Thanks for keeping an eye out for copyright violations. Your efforts are appreciated! I wanted to mention, though, that it isn't always necessary to tag them for speedy deletion. If only one section of an article has copyvio text -- but the rest of the article is fine (for example, has a infobox and introduction) -- than the copyvio text can simply be removed. That way , we get to keep a good article. As done with The Haunted Mask Lives! and Beyond the Valley of Thorns. If you are uncertain whether or not the text is a copyright violation and you want it to be reviewed by an administrator, than the section can be blanked using the procedure found at Wikipedia:Copyright problems#Instructions and the article can be submitted for copyright review there. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions. Cheers — CactusWriter | needles 01:30, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
Sinclair Method issues
Hello, Dylan. I'm attempting to correct the issues that the Sinclair Method page was tagged with last month. Since the majority of those issues involve the page being one-sided, it is impossible for the person who wrote most of it (me) to make it less one sided. I wouldn't have written it that way in the first place if I'd thought it was biased.
As such, I'm asking the various people who participated in the review to help me identify which characteristics of the page need to be adjusted. Could you stop in and help? Robert Rapplean (talk) 16:01, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
Reviewer Right Granted
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. The Helpful One 12:03, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:Roughtravelforararething.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:Roughtravelforararething.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 22:55, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
Please remain civil
Hi, You're a long-standing editor with a history of good edits and I've seen you around AfD quite a bit. I'm surprised, therefore, to have to remind you that edits such as this one aren't OK. Please keep a civil tongue in your head in the future. Cheers. Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 06:54, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
- Excellent use of "fucking" as an adjectival emphatic, in my opinion. Better use of one's time would be to write stern notes to the people who brought this stub back for repeat AfD votes one and three months after a KEEP decision was rendered on the matter at AfD, actually. Call it gaming the system or cite WP:IDONTLIKEIT, but it smacks of bad faith and disruptive behavior. Compare and contrast to my potty mouth... Carrite (talk) 15:35, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

It is not completely crap, although was quite ugly. I removed your prod and made some copyedits. The article shares a naming format with dozens of other similar articles, so it should be kept with its name and all its editing history. Alex Nackman / Article Deletion
DATE: SEPTEMBER 20, 2010
Dylan,
I created the Wiki page for singer/songriter/artist Alex Nackman back in 2006. I have just found out that has recently been deleted ion the last week, with your nomination leading the pack. I am really disappointed here. I've tried to follow all the Wiki rules and keep things as impartial and currently informative as possible. Alex Nackman is an established independent artist/musician from New York. He has toured over 700 shows worldwide and released 5 albums that are available almost everywhere and certainly online. He has also had roughly 40 songs placed on various television shows in the U.S. and UK, not to mention over 500,000 views at his myspace. Though he is not a major label artist or on the front cover of Rolling Stone, he has done enough where I think he deserves to have his Wiki page re-instated. I used to manage him and do not anymore, but I still help out and keep things current on the web for Alex and his management. I have never inflated his Wiki page with false or opinionated text. I have only provided the facts and some background bio information. If you just google his name, there are dozens of pages and information on Alex Nackman.
I truly hope you and the Wki team will help reconsider. There were other strong "keep" nominations for this article in previous discussions.
Thanks, Musicman5 (talk) 19:39, 20 September 2010 (UTC) Mark

- Although I was the one who nominated the Alex Nackman article for deletion its fate was decided by community consensus, as interpreted by the closing admin, User:Cirt. If you wish to have the article looked at again you can either leave a message on Cirts talkpage or take it up at a deletion review. The main concerns I had with the article were the question mark over his notability and the lack of significant coverage in reliable sources that were independent of the subject. If you aren't familiar with the standards we need at Wikipedia, then the guidelines to look at would be:- Wikipedia:Music#Criteria_for_musicians_and_ensembles, Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources and Wikipedia:Secondary_source#Primary.2C_secondary_and_tertiary_sources. Cheers. Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 20:01, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Ski Roundtop
A tag has been placed on Ski Roundtop, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Moreover, please add more verifiable sources, not only 3rd party sources. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template hangon
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Gr0ff (talk) 21:54, 20 September 2010 (UTC)

You have deleted it with the claim that it is “spam”! Will you please be kind enough to explain WHY Hotel Managers Forum link (with over 1800 members) should not get linked from the Hotel Manager page of Wickipedia?
I am hoping this is just a misunderstanding. Let's fix the problem here before we continue to dispute resolution.

- Hi, thanks for your comment. Unfortunately, your edits about the date of birth for Lizzie Cundy keep getting reverted as they weren't sourced. Information in articles, particularly those on living people should have references that substantiate that information. Those references should be in reliable sources so that we know its accurate. It isn't enough to have been to school with a subject, as wikipedia editors aren't reliable sources. The reason for these rules is to try and maintain credibility for the encyclopedia. You can get more info on this in the WP:VERIFY, WP:VNT and WP:TRUTH guidelines, or if you need to know more reply on my talk page. Hope that helps. - Thank you so much Dylan. Barrymore's early comedies are often ignored. Gene Fowler in Good Night Sweet Prince dismissed them as trivial. But Barrymore was a comedian as well as classic drama actor. He began his career in comedy and ended it there. An amusing story I think by Kotsilibas-Davis, has Barrymore working on one of these Famous Players, Long Island shot comedies and the director is James Kirkwood. The story goes that Barrymore is off somewhere in a bar on a binge and Kirkwood is looking for him so that they can finish the picture. Kirkwood eventually finds him and says something on the order "if you don't return with me to the set, I'll sling you over my shoulder and we'll go back together and complete the film". Too bad they're all gone. But thanks again.Koplimek (talk) 00:00, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Crocodiles Sleep Forever coverart hi-res.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Crocodiles Sleep Forever coverart hi-res.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Politeness is a basic pillar of Wikipedia
A bit of advice from a vet, it's not a good idea to insult people even if you agree with them,[2] or to respond with a request to be polite with a snide remark about the user's competence.[3] Giving other volunteers a hard time does not help make Wikipedia a better encyclopedia. If you are now chafing under the collar because you've just had your shortcommings pointed out to you, reflect that this is exactly how you have made others feel. We're here trying to make a better encyclopedia, some common courtesy and respect will make our time here more enjoyable for all of us. LK (talk) 10:44, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

Prod of leisure society
I'm at a loss trying to understand why you prodded leisure society with the rationale of unencyclopedic and unsourced, when a quick look at the literature reveals hundreds, perhaps thousands of sources on the subject, with more than 300 citing the paper used as a reference. The creation of the article then immediate AFD (which I have blocked him for) seems to be part of a campaign of gamesmanship/disruption by PorridgeGobbler. See Wikipedia:ANI#Edinburgh_Wanderer. I suspect that if it is deleted and someone recreates it (possibly with more content), he will attempt to argue CSD G4. Do you object if I remove the speedy tag? Superm401 - Talk 00:03, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
- G4 wouldn't apply: it would have been deleted via speedy, not technically as a result of a deletion discussion. Also, if someone comes up with another article with more references and proper content, it wouldn't be a recreation; as I understand it, the content has to be quite close to how it was in the original article in order to be thought of as 'recreation'. His arguments (should they even arise) wouldn't stand up, and he'd be liable to accusations of disruption again. Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 00:07, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Articles in the Articles for creation project sit in Wikipedia talk space for technical reasons, so unregistered IP users can create them. Therefore they do not belong to any parent article, and so you cannot tag them for WP:CSD#G8. Thanks for uploading File:Mos annual2005.jpg.
Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:17, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
Leisure society
Hi. In May 2011, you prodded Leisure society. In your rationale you stated: "Doesn't appear to be an encyclopedic topic. Article consists of synthesis and original research (such that it is), with no references to back it up."[4] That's a bit odd, since the diff clearly lists two books (Dumazedier, 1967; Seabrook, 1988) and a third working paper with an external link that contains a bibliography of more than 50 notable sources about the concept. It even says "extensive bibliography" in the article. So, I'm really confused how you could prod this article with this rationale. Viriditas (talk) 09:41, 24 November 2013 (UTC)
The Wales Coast Path WikiProject
As a member of WikiProject Wales, WikiProject Cardiff or an user who has contributed to Welsh articles we invite you to contribute to a new project, Living Paths!: articles, images, translations... Lonely Planet rated the coast of Wales "the best region on Earth" in 2012, yet there is a very low number of articles on the history and culture of places along the Coastal Path. This promises to be an exciting project as it gathers momentum with many Users joining in across the world. |
If you are interested in training groups in Wales, please leave a message on the Talk Page. |

Speed Deletion
Therefore, they have released my created page for deletion I would now like to explain why it is important to give this person a Wikipedia page here. There is much interest in him and there are certainly people who like to more about this information would inform him at least the most important I have listed on Wikipedia. I have all kinds of relevances fulfilled as I have seen so there is no reason this person no Wikipedia page to enter. I call here's an example, namely the Wikipedia page of "Adrian von Ziegler" is constructed exactly like that of me. Both composers have become YouTube by "Famous". Usertalk:Demise21 06:57, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
- Hi Demise. I based my speedy deletion request for Sadžid Husić on an unsuccessful search for sources. Wikipedia has quite strict guidelines on who is eligible for a Wikipedia article, and the minimum requirement is that they have been the subject of significant coverage in reliable sourcesthat are independent of the subject. If you have some available, great, but they'll need to be attached to the article. I included some links on your talkpage that provide more information on all this :-) Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 07:17, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
- He You just said that I have created this page about myself so what is wrong. As I have already mentioned above, the sides of me and the same, there are of "Adrian von Ziegler" no difference between the two the relevance criteria of "Adrian von Ziegler" are even worse than me.Please note that there is a person here is in it also goes to a Public Interest.I think we should at least give the person a Wikipedia page by the people can inform themselves need the information. I have also listed above the same if someone even more relevant is left like they can import. Usertalk:Demise21 07:27, 19 November 2014
- Oops, yeah, I used the wrong template, you can ignore that I said you created an article about yourself ;-)
- I'm not familiar with the Adrian von Ziegler article, and in any case the fact that one thing has an article doesn't mean another thing should; see WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS for more on that. The main thing is for you to add sources to the article, that's the main hurdle to get over. Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 07:42, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
- Can pass no problem as I said I have since also added links to the relevant Wikipedia page which lead to relenvate pages. It's just a matter that I am one of the persons of interest it has more information about him so to get the composer (am a fan of him) unfortunately I have to realize that it article is here almost or did not get the relevance criteria after.I have it here on my articles I have written some referred to the statements about the person something. As I said above I have on the page above added the other that can also deal with his person the other links be added.Maybe I do not have many links packed into it but i think that could change if the products are the remains soon as there are certainly many people are still working on this article.Usertalk:Demise21 07:51, 19 November 2014
- Yeah the links that are in the article right now aren't up to the standard I'm afraid - see WP:SOURCES for the kind of thing needed; they have to be independent of the subject (so, not things like Facebook); in-depth (so, brief mentions aren't good enough), and from reliable sources (so, newspapers and books etc, not blogs or Twitter). Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 08:10, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
- The Facebook I understand that we can remove all the stuff're only 2 things and since it came on the information. But iTunes does so as a German media journal which publishes an article about him but should be relevant enough I think. The Dusseldorf Evening Gazette is not a blog, so this should be valid as relevance. CDBaby and a website where you can buy the music of him I think you can accept as the relevance least shows that he offers his music on the Internet for sale.Usertalk:Demise21 08:20, 19 November 2014
- The only one of the links currently on the page that is acceptable is the Dusseldorf Evening Gazette one - you need more like that, from different sources. Just having music on the internet for sale doesn't show notability; neither does having a YouTube channel. Even I've got both of those and I shouldn't have a Wikipedia article either! Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 08:34, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
- Ok then give me some time and I will find more links. That should not be a problem, I see my mistake a I did something wrong in the relevance criteria and I will immediately mending I need just a little time for the I still find more articles.Usertalk:Demise21 08:38, 19 November 2014
- If you intend to add more references, go to the page and click 'Contest this speedy deletion'; I can't remove the template once it's up there. Have a read of WP:BLP and WP:RELIABLE for guidance on adding info to the article. Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 08:48, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
- So I have now added more products myself have looked again if the relenvanz it is sufficient that she does.I certainly hope that I have thus met the relevance criteria for the page so that it gets released.I will of course personally about the ever more relevant articles are added worry soon as I find something. But I'm going to give me trouble.Usertalk:Demise21 09:35, 19 November 2014 (UTC)

WP:EVADE
I'd like to point out that banned and blocked users do not need to have a completed SPI to remove the comment itself 5. I plan on reverting you in a little bit provided you don't have a reason to believe that I'm wrong in my assessment. The behaviors and language is the same as previous socks and as I mentioned at the SPI the only reason I filed the SPU was to check and make sure we didn't have a new farm growing. Hell in a Bucket (talk) 03:56, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
- The SPI is closed with no further action to be taken, they said themselves that it could just as likely be a result of canvassing, or a meat. Closing admins aren't dumb, they'll take into account that it's an SPA, whatever the reason for it being an SPA is. Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 04:09, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
- I don't think they are stupid but the meatpuppetry policy also explicitly deals with it 6 where it states that in cases of doubt to treat them the same way as per the finding of this arbcom case 7. That's two seperate cases, I am waiting on a clarifying comment but it is still my intention to revert it when I have that comment based off of WP:EVADE. Sorry but my good faith for this person completely left when they tried saying I have ties to the KKK. Hell in a Bucket (talk) 04:49, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
- I had the clarification I needed and it was that it was ok to remove it, before I do that I want to ask, do you have any reason to believe it's not a sock or was this just AGF? Hell in a Bucket (talk) 14:23, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
- Neither really. I'm sure it's someone who's up to some flavour of no good, but thought it would be better to leave the comment up and let the closing admin decide its validity, while still giving them the info. I'm not particularly attached to the comment though, and (deliberately) don't involve myself in too much sockpuppetry stuff (life's stressful enough!), so feel free to re-remove it if that's what the protocol is. :-) Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 14:51, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
- Ok thank you, I am fairly involved with the sock puppet investigation side of things as I do new page patrol and they seem to pop up often there. I just wanted to make sure so I didn't dig myself or anyone else a hole we don't need to fill lol. Cheers. Hell in a Bucket (talk) 14:56, 24 November 2014 (UTC)

deOrphaning script
Hello everyone! I was just working on responding to a couple bug reports for a script that I worked up as part of a request from this project, and I noticed that only a couple people (who weren't even on this mailing list) are actually using the script. A little history on the script: In March of 2014, Jim Cartar came to my user talk page and said he needed some help in acquiring a script for a backlog drive that he was working on that could keep track of and score deOrphanings for a scored backlog drive. I took that request to the project's talk page (BackLog Drive "DO" (De-Orphaning) script proposal) and there was near unanimous support for this. I thought about the proposal and decided the best way to do it was to build a new script (which is still no where near as comprehensive as Manishearth's OrphanTabs) and build into it a mechanism that will make BLD scoring easy.
What I'm wondering at this point is, since there appears to be only two people using the script, should I continue to develop this script with a goal of using it for scoring BLDs or just debug the existing script and leave it at that. Thanks for any replies or comments.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
