Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Asamoah Gyan, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Lordina Mahama
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Lordina Mahama requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/NewsArchive/artikel.php?ID=259680. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Diannaa (talk) 20:59, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
Transfermarkt
Since most of its content is user-generated, Transfermarkt is not a reliable source. Please do not cite the website in articles, as you did with Samuel Inkoom. Thank you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 14:41, 20 June 2017 (UTC)

Second Lady of Ghana moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Second Lady of Ghana, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. AfroCine: Join the Months of African Cinema this October!
Greetings!
After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! The AfroCine Project welcomes you to October, the first out of the two months which have been dedicated to creating and improving content that centre around the cinema of Africa, the Caribbean, and the diaspora. Your draft article, Draft:Second Lady of Ghana
Hello, Ampimd. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Second Lady of Ghana".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! HasteurBot (talk) 03:32, 20 November 2019 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 21
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cassiel Ato Forson, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page National Democratic Congress. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:20, 21 August 2020 (UTC)

- 3rd - $100
- Diversity winner - $100

Recent edit reversion
In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.
I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.
I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 13:07, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

Fantana (Ghanaian musician) moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Fantana (Ghanaian musician), is not suitable as written to remain published.
The article Eric Ayiah has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Davidlofgren1996 (talk) 12:16, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
Nomination of Kofi Koranteng for deletion
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kofi Koranteng until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.

Hello Ampimd, I've noticed you breaking Notable alumni lists into multiple sub-sections. This is helpful when there are long lists of alumni. Autopatrolled granted
Hi Ampimd, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. However, you should consider adding relevant wikiproject talk-page templates, stub-tags and categories to new articles that you create if you aren't already in the habit of doing so, since your articles will no longer be systematically checked by other editors (User:Evad37/rater and User:SD0001/StubSorter.js are useful scripts which can help). Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 16:31, 2 February 2021 (UTC)

hello sir, im Bryan and i have been trying to have an article/page created about Dr Samuel Nuamah Donkor. encountered challenges after submitting my draft for reasons i don't understand. was hoping and wondering if you could be kind to assist in any form. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Benarizon (talk • contribs) 16:30, 23 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Benarizon I have seen your draft and the challenges you are facing. I noticed the hitches were because his article had been created just yesterday. But I noticed your draft has been available since last week. Thats quite unfortunate. Best that can be done now is to add your information along with references to the the page that has been created and accepted. Certainly it would be reviewed by others. Thanks. Let me know if you face any issues. The other thing is if you're interested in creating more articles and all why not create a page so your account can be well recognised and you can be a better user of wikipedia and wikimedia.. Cheers. Let know how best I can help you. Ampimd (talk) 16:39, 23 February 2021 (UTC)
Rollback granted
Hi Ampimd. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 17:17, 24 February 2021 (UTC)

Hello, just saw your last edit on the above page. This is a list of ministers. Is there any particular reason why one deputy minister has to feature in this list?--Natsubee (talk) 20:27, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- I intend to add the list of the deputy ministers. Unfortunately for the List of Mahama government ministers, Kuffuor and Jerry Rawlings their full complement of deputy ministers didn't feature on their lists. I assume it wasn't considered as necessary or important. For the Akufo Addo list, the deputy ministers were added. So that's what I intend to do. When I get them then I fill in gradually. I have so far gotten quite a number of them. But to get links in connection to the article so it wouldn't be considered as an orphan page I decided to add it now. Opoku Ware School
Hello. Your recent edit to Opoku Ware School appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 18:24, 10 May 2021 (UTC)

Question from Steminist04 (18:05, 21 May 2021)
Hello! I'm new to Wikipedia editing! And you showed up in my homepage as my mentor? What does that mean and how did that get assigned? Although I'm very happy to have someone to ask questions to!
I was also wondering if you could tell me how I would officially join a WikiProject? Also is my userspace supposed to have anything specific on it? Yours has all sorts of things? --Steminist04 (talk) 18:05, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Steminist04, initially Wikipedia did not assign mentors but based on recent changes and challenges new editors face, the homepage was created with one of its features being mentor section. The importance of it its exactly what you just did, by asking questions and helping to be guided in way. Wikipedia has quite a lot of rules in regards to editing, notability, style of editing and others. Ampimd (talk) 18:15, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
- With WikiProject, you can join any wikiproject of your choice. Its all based on your preferences and the topics you are interested in editing. For example, I enjoy sports and football, so I joined WikiProject Football, I edit articles related to Ghana, because I am from Ghana, so I joined WikiProject Ghana. I am part of some others as well. You can join as many as you want. But bear in mind it should be something you have interest in.
- 1. You can start from here by going through the directory WikiProject Directory.
- 2. Next step would be how to add your name to the Project page members list, adding the userboxes of the project to your user page like mine and then editing articles within that project. Ampimd (talk) 18:34, 21 May 2021 (UTC)

I am a politician i want to make an article of my biography . Can you help me out ? --NaveedAhMir (talk) 19:56, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
Reverted articles
Hello User:Ampimd. Please can I know why you reverted the articles I referenced? daSupremo [talk] 00:13, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
- You seem to be adding references just because they have been mentioned in articles. Wikipedia isn't just about mere mentions. They need to have a good correlation to the subject an be well related to the portion of the article you have are, if not then articles can have sooo many references. If not then articles like Ghana would have all the references from citinewsroom and myjoyonline. Please ensure that the references that you are adding are relevant to the article not just a them for adding sake or have mentions. Ampimd (talk) 00:27, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
Question from Steminist04 (19:39, 6 June 2021)
Hi Ampimd! I've been working on editing wikipedia and learning lots! Thank you for helping me get started in finding Wikiprojects! I've been working on an article for creation, and while it seems definitely outside of your areas of interest I wanted to see if you had any feedback? (If that's something you can help with, if not, no worries). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Gianluigi_Veglia --Steminist04 (talk) 19:39, 6 June 2021 (UTC)
- Actually I work on general biographies, especially ones related to academia. I would have a careful look at it and give you feedback. Cheers. Ampimd (talk) 20:16, 6 June 2021 (UTC)

Question from Brittanicus 1209 on User talk:Brittanicus 1209 (17:18, 15 June 2021)
Hi there -
My first small edit - just want to be sure I'm doing this right to be honest - updated the battle of Derby with a reference from the Anglo Saxon Chronicle, do I need to put a notification somewhere ? --Brittanicus 1209 (talk) 17:18, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Brittanicus 1209, You got it right, all you need to do is to add the information + a notable reference to back the information and that's all. No need to leave a notification anywhere. Ampimd (talk) 17:31, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
Question from Mundagenta (09:11, 16 June 2021)
Hello, good day! I just wanna ask this thing. What may happen if I violated one of Wikipedia's rules> --Mundagenta (talk) 09:11, 16 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Mundagenta, it depends on which exact one you violate. But the basic precautions range from the edits being removed due to copyright issues, edits being reverted, being blocked, causing articles to be protected from certain people editing (all in relation to vandalism). Due to that, you need to ensure you go according to the rules to make editing easy and more enjoyable for you and other editors. Ampimd (talk) 10:20, 16 June 2021 (UTC)

Ibrahim Moro
I am unsure what tools you are using to edit, but it is messing up the formatting of the infobox at Ibrahim Moro. Please stop. GiantSnowman 10:49, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
- Why is it messing up the article? I am trying fix it rather. By adding information about his career with New Edubiase. His career with the club as proved by the references I added shows it wasn't a youth career, just a youth career moreover he served as captain for the senior side and won the Ghanaian FA Cup. That's all I have tried to actually add.
- Kindly check the National Football Team external link you added as well. It is wrong, check the teams in there which are in reference to him, the teams and caps there are of Ibrahim Imoro because the caps there are caps from a CHAN African Nations Championship which is played by local players in Africa, in 2017, he was playing for Silkeborg IF so please kindly let the changes stay and then crosscheck from the sources I have provided. Thank you. Ampimd (talk) 10:59, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
- https://www.national-football-teams.com/player/68879/Moro_Ibrahim.html this is the external link attached to the article, which is totally inaccurate Ampimd (talk) 11:01, 22 June 2021 (UTC)

- Kindly take your time and go through the references and information I added and when you feel the information is well verified, please revert so it reflects his career with New Edubiase United, including winning the Ghanaian FA Cup with the club. Thank you. Ampimd (talk) 11:10, 22 June 2021 (UTC)

- Reference of captaining New Edubiase to the Ghanaian FA Cup. How can we classify that as being a youth career? Ampimd (talk) 11:17, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
- I hope based on all the information I have provided you wouldn't revert the article when I make changes. Thank you. Ampimd (talk) 11:18, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
- No, is is literally messing up the formatting of the infobox - changing the order of the parameters etc. GiantSnowman 11:40, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
- Well I am glad you have reconsidered and ensured the important part of the information I am trying to put across, senior career for New Edubiase isn't taken off and is captured in there. Thats all I needed, Thanks for doing that. Ampimd (talk) 11:50, 22 June 2021 (UTC)

Question from Babybojo (09:30, 24 June 2021)
Hi I would like to set a page for my baby, who recently became famous because of his comparison with Boris Johnson --Babybojo (talk) 09:30, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hi, Babybojo, that's nice. Unfortunately according to the Wikipedia rules & standards, it doesn't work that way.
- 1. It would in the first place be a Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.
- 2. The Baby needs to be notable Wikipedia:Notability, Wikipedia:Notability (people) according to Wikipedia's rules. If all this isn't done the article would be deleted by administrators and other editors the moment it is created. A basic search I have done shows that Baby Bojo may not have that notability tag so I would advise that no page be created.
- 3. Articles created on Wikipedia must not be used as a form of advertisements Wikipedia:Promotion.
- 4. Wikipedia has a set of rules regarding things Wikipedia may not be try reading, hopefully it would bring clarity on all the things written above. Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not
- I hope there is some clarity now, kindly let me know if you want any extra information. Thanks. Ampimd (talk) 10:44, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
