Wondering what the right link destination for PC-98 is. Currently, PC-98 is a disambiguation page. Would the ideal link destination for PC-98 be NEC PC-9801? NEC PC-9800? NEC PC-98? Should the current article title be renamed for this? --Bxj (talk) 14:59, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This part is is a bit confusing

[edit]

NEC's decision to work with Microsoft to offer a PC-98 compatible version of Windows 95 could be seen as the first step towards the PC-98's downfall, as consumers were no longer required to have an NEC-built system to run software designed for Windows.

NEC's decision doesn't affect the fact that consumers didn't need to have an NEC-built system to run software designed for Windows as they could use an IBM-PC (a system not built by NEC) to run Windows 95 no matter what NEC decided. --Canyq (talk) 18:18, 16 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a reason why the English page is called 9801 and the linked ja.wikipedia page is called "PC-9800シリーズ" which means PC-9800 series? Someone not using his real name (talk) 01:48, 15 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
