Judah broke her moorings, drifted into the middle of Pensacola Bay , burned to the waterline , and sank opposite Fort Barrancas .[ 46] [ 47]

The ship struck rocks at Point de Cruses, Morocco, became waterlogged and was abandoned. Her ten crew were rescued by the felucca Isabelita ( Spain ). Destiny was on a voyage from Gibraltar to Genoa , Italy . The wreck was plundered by three Spanish vessels.[ 32]
