This is a project for all those Wikipedians working on Mangalore-related articles. Discussion on these articles should be done here. It's a place for discussing the policy and line of action for improving quality of Mangalore-related articles.

This project aims to address the production, improvement and coordination of articles related to Mangalore taluk—its geography, history, culture, languages, politics, and so on. It intends to expand Wikipedia's resources on the subject in a fair and accurate manner and to act as a locus where controversies can be aired and hopefully resolved.
The goals defined for the WikiProject are:
- To improve all Mangalore-related articles.
- To ensure its information is accurate and up to date.
- To expand existing Mangalore stubs.
All schools, colleges, temples, churches, etc. within the taluk limits should be tagged with this WikiProject. Only those articles outside the taluk limits that do have relevance to the city should be tagged with this WikiProject.

- Moderate the changes on Featured articles such as Mangalore
- Localities and villages. These are by far the largest category of articles. Standardise the sections. We may need the help of a bot.
- Photographs: as many as we can. Categorise into high, medium and low priority. Here are the list of images which need photographs.
- Expand Mangalore-related articles, especially those pertaining to history, geography and culture.
- Expand Mangalore-based organizations.
- High quality SVG maps needed: Police zones, topography, etc.
- Create and expand articles on parks, prominent malls, tourist spots etc
- Panoramic images of the city needed.
- Demographic statistics needed for places.
- FA drive for Mangalore-related pages.
- Work on and promote articles on notable Mangaloreans to B-class status.
