Sulfurboy (talk) 08:53, 9 March 2020 (UTC)References for plant articles
Please don't use The Plant List as a reference in an article about a plant. It's out of date and no longer maintained. It has been replaced by Plants of the World Online. A typical reference might look like this:
- <ref name=POWO_148547-1>{{citation |mode=cs1 |title=''Linnaea chinensis'' (R.Br.) A.Braun & Vatke |work=Plants of the World Online |publisher=Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew|url=http://www.plantsoftheworldonline.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:148547-1 |accessdate=2020-03-09 }}</ref>

- can I ask, when did it stop updating? And thank youm Starzoner (talk) 12:36, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
- The About page says version 1.1 was released in September 2013 and the home page says
TPL has been static since 2013, but was used as the starting point for the Taxonomic Backbone of the World Flora Online (WFO), and updated information can be found at www.worldfloraonline.org

- The About page says version 1.1 was released in September 2013 and the home page says
Please don't use unsubstituted {{PAGENAME}}
Starzoner, while I've got you on the line - there's some agreement that using unsubstituted {{PAGENAME}} is a bad idea, not just in taxoboxes but on pages in general. I'm seeing that again in, e.g., Asperula bornmuelleri. Could I ask you not to do that please? Substituting the template would be okay, as that replaces it with a fixed text on article creation. Cheers! --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 13:21, 9 March 2020 (UTC))
- Elmidae, hi, let me provide my rationale. I put them in my userspace so that I can use PAGENAME template as a way of it automatically updating the name so that when its moved to publication, it automatically updates. Although I should have done so. Anyways, I have go through the published ones and substituted them all. I will now proceed with the userspace ones. Starzoner (talk) 14:09, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you! Note that something seems to have gone wrong with the authority ref title in Asperula bornmuelleri - you might want to keep an eye on that. - Also, let me again recommend to you the use of {{Speciesbox}} instead of {{Taxobox}}. It boils the entire thing down to four lines instead of fifteen :) --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 16:17, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
ALso, thnaks. I'll crawl through them then. It will take some time but worth it. 16:23, 9 March 2020 (UTC)

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Asperula brevifolia, from its old location at User:Starzoner/Asperula brevifolia. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Sulfurboy (talk) 22:57, 9 March 2020 (UTC)

Theroadislong (talk) 18:57, 11 March 2020 (UTC)Fahrettin Koca moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Fahrettin Koca, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources and it is too short. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Theroadislong (talk) 19:21, 12 March 2020 (UTC)Please pay attention to the formatting - your stubs require a lot of cleanup...
Starzoner, I hate to harp on about this, but your newly submitted stubs still have a number of issues that have to be cleaned up by other people afterward.
- You still use unsubstituted {{PAGENAME}} in several places, as in e.g. Asperula carpatica[1]. Could you please not do that?
- Haven't you noticed that every single one of these articles uses
title = '' {{PAGENAME}}'' Sims
in the title for the authority? If you don't want to place the actual author there, please leave the author name out entirely in that location. - The material you are putting under "Description" is not what should go under that subtopic - "Description" is for appearance and morphology. Your content is one item about distribution and a note about date of taxonomic origin. Either is too short for a section of its own, and very unlikely to be expanded in the near future; in a stub you would just put all that into one paragraph without subsections (as I have been implementing for those stubs of yours that I have seen).
- There's no real consensus imperative to make use of the automatic taxobox system, but I don't understand why you prefer your current 15 line manual taxobox over this:
{{Speciesbox | taxon = Asperula carpatica | authority = ... }}
Done. Takes a fraction of the time to set up, and will automatically update forever after. Please take these tips to mind. Cheers --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 20:11, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
- Okay, I have to amend this - I see that in some recent ones you actually do use the speciesbox setup. Thanks for that! :) --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 20:28, 12 March 2020 (UTC)

KylieTastic (talk) 20:44, 12 March 2020 (UTC)- @KylieTastic and Theroadislong: Right now, the error tracking Category:Automatic_taxobox_cleanup is full of articles accepted here, all of which will have to be cleaned up. Why are articles with such errors being accepted? It's wasting a lot of editor time. Please will you all stop! Peter coxhead (talk) 22:53, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Starzoner: I don't blame you as a new and enthusiastic editor for creating these errors, but you could usefully help to clean them up. The problem appears to be that you have included '' around the value of taxon parameters in automated taxoboxes, which causes the taxobox not to work. I'm amazed that this wasn't noticed. You should always check a new article to see that its taxobox is o.k. The articles in the error checking category are manifestly not o.k. Peter coxhead (talk) 23:01, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
- Taxon articles should also include a taxonbar template. It would be useful if you could do this. If you don't know about {{taxonbar}} I'll be happy to help. Peter coxhead (talk) 23:05, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
- User:Peter coxhead - Since you seem to be implying that the reviewers let bad articles into article space, I will explain about AFC review. Different Wikipedia volunteers understand different volunteer tasks, and sometimes we need to explain. I assume that you work in WikiProject Plants. Let me explain about AFC review. The primary question for the AFC reviewer is whether a draft should be in article space, based on whether it will survive an Articles for Deletion discussion. It doesn't have to be perfect. It is understood that if a draft will be Kept in a deletion discussion, even if it needs work, it should be accepted, and can be improved in article space. Most of what we see at AFC is crud, drafts about non-notable people, garage bands, and small businesses. It is pleasant and rare to see an editor who contributes a large number of good drafts, and these were good drafts, in that they clearly satisfied notability and verifiability. They did need to be cleaned up, but User:Theroadislong, User:KylieTastic, and I were glad to see documented species, items of human knowledge, which should be in Wikipedia, even if they had to be cleaned up. That is why we accepted them. It wasn't wasted editor time, and we thank you for the time to clean them up. Robert McClenon (talk) 03:37, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
- I will basically echo what was said above by Robert McClennon. We don't always clean up articles that are moved to the mainspace. If we did, very few would actually get approved through AfC. As Wikipedia is never finished, articles such as these (as opposed to a lot of spam that comes through AfC) deserve to be moved to mainspace and then cleaned up by anyone feeling up to it. I didn't want to deny them for technical reasons when they meet notability guidelines. --CNMall41 (talk) 19:33, 13 March 2020 (UTC)

- Peter coxhead, well Category:Automatic taxobox cleanup is not full of anything any more and you weren't editing after this fixing them to locate that way, so it's difficult to tell what the issue is. When I saw the notification just as I went to bed I thought I had been part of some major issue somehow, but we obviously have different ideas of categories being 'full' - in Category:AfC pending submissions by age we have thousands in the backlog and hundreds added every day (over 400 submits yesterday), and as Robert McClenon said most are crud and a real waste of time. So sorry if the odd error makes it though as we try to keep on top of this workload, while making sure notable topics get accepted. I looked at my last accept Asperula subulifolia and it has not been edited since to clean it up, nor does it have an Automatic taxobox. Previous to that I last accepted weevils on the 22 of February, so I'm really baffled to the "errors being accepted" with myself pinged! I checked the last 10 of Theroadislong accepts, and 8 have either not been edited since, or it was Starzoner themselves improving. 2 others were cleaned up by Plantdrew that I have thanked before for their efforts, but neither of those had automated taxoboxes either! I did find Asperula gussonei in your edit history that had been left in a bad state with clear template errors. I would never knowingly have left any like this, but checking all of the others accepted by CNMall41 I didn't see the same again, so a friendly message to them about this one particular article would have seemed more appropriate. Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 10:45, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
- @KylieTastic: almost all the Asperula articles were in the tracking category at first, and were cleaned up by Plantdrew. I would suggest that putting these articles into Draft space in the first instance would have been the best course of action. However, I see that this is not what AfC editors think appropriate, so I'll leave it. Peter coxhead (talk) 11:17, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Peter coxhead, maybe I'm still missing something but even this that you fixed up from ''{{PAGENAME}}'' has a Speciesbox not a Automatic taxobox, do Speciesbox errors appear in Category:Automatic taxobox cleanup? Most of the changes to Asperula that Plantdrew has been doing appear to be from using "taxon" to "genus"+"species". I assume your not talking about that as you left Asperula gussonei with the taxon option used. I have looked several times in Category:Automatic taxobox cleanup to keep an eye on if there was a type of issue I hadn't spotted but every-time I've looked it's been empty - so still not sure what errors these are? Unfortunately WikiProjects don't appear to monitor drafts, so nuances like "genus"+"species" over "taxon" will almost never be noticed or changed before acceptance. Someone is working of using ORES to sort submissions to aid projects/editors find submissions of interest but the current all in one version User:SD0001/AfC_sorting does not appear to have a plant category. Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 12:12, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
- @KylieTastic: because the various automated taxoboxes were developed at different times, being developed from {{Automatic taxobox}}, there's some overlap between the error tracking categories. The change that Plantdrew makes between "taxon" and "genus"+"species" just reflects a preference he has; it doesn't make any difference, both are o.k. Most of the errors were caused by the presence of '' around parameter values.
- Drafts with faulty taxoboxes usually show up in the tracking categories, so will get fixed. I monitor the categories most days, and errors normally get fixed quickly. The issue here was the speed at which articles were created combined with the apparent "seal of approval" of the AfC process, which I had not understood does not in fact mean much in terms of things like taxobox correctness.
- User:Peter coxhead - As I noted, the seal of approval of AFC indicates that we think that the draft passes verifiability and notability. Some of us have varying degrees of knowledge of various types of infoboxes; and taxoboxes are among the most useful but most complicated types of infoboxes. It isn't a function of AFC to enforce the rules of a WikiProject about infoboxes or any other useful detail. So that means that there is and reasonably should be a multi-stage review process. Other areas of knowledge also have their own specialized considerations that can be applied after an article is in article space. If a taxobox "looks wrong", I may note that it looks wrong and decline it, or I may note that it looks wrong and accept it. But my role at AFC is to decide whether the draft will survive an AFD discussion, and it will if it describes a species. Robert McClenon (talk) 03:05, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
- Anyway, the situation is now resolved. Peter coxhead (talk) 17:38, 14 March 2020 (UTC)

First, I deeply apologize for all the mess I made earlier. As much as I wanted to add content, I think I should have not spammed AFC like that and. I think i got a decent amount of the mess and cleaned some of the mess up. I was actually reminded by the honourable Elmidae, to switch the taxoboxes to speciesbox so I did, and I have missed major errors in switching to them. I will use that from the start next time. Starzoner (talk) 15:10, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
- User:Starzoner - No apology to the AFC volunteers is needed. I thank you for providing us with edible canned meat, or, since these were botanical species, edible canned vegetables. Whether you should apologize to the WikiProject Plants volunteers is between you and them. But we at AFC are glad to see drafts that pass notability and verifiability. Hidden categories
I suspect you don't have showing hidden categories turned on. If when logged in you go to Special:Preferences, then the "Appearance" tab, under "Advanced options", there's a checkbox "Show hidden categories". If you tick this, then you will see extra categories that track issues with pages. For example, right now Asperula sherardioides has the normally hidden category "Taxobox articles possibly missing a taxonbar", as indeed it does. Peter coxhead (talk) 11:25, 14 March 2020 (UTC)

- Seems good. I added a stub template (using Category:Plant stubs to find the nearest for this species). So now it can be moved to Securidaca acuminata, and finished off by adding the "en" entry at the Wikidata item, and putting {{WikiProject Plants|class=stub|importance=low|needs-image=yes}} on its talk page. Can you make the move? Peter coxhead (talk) 22:31, 14 March 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Luxemborg
A tag has been placed on 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Luxemborg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. I'm confused why you moved 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Nauru to 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Nauru 2. 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Nauru was a redirect, and redirects should usually not be moved per WP:MOVEREDIRECT, especially not to a title that's obviously not useful. Is there something I'm missing? -- Tavix (talk) 22:19, 27 April 2020 (UTC)
- I've tagged "my" redirect for deletion so it can be moved back. I was thinking the redirect could be in my name when i came around to build an article around it but I kid of lost interest in the eventual construction of the page. Starzoner (talk) 23:51, 27 April 2020 (UTC)
4-digit years
Hi Starzoner, I would appreciate if you would stop moving the articles back, as 4-digit years are the preferred form per MOS and I am trying to achieve consistency here. Also, the conflict will (unfortunately) likely continue into 2021, for which the deprecated abbreviated 2-digit form would not be allowed anyway. Greetings, --Matthiaspaul (talk) 12:42, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Matthiaspaul, I have a few questions why.
- 1) how do you know it will go into next year, forcing it to be 4 digits?
- And why not have it at the 4-2 digit format until it actually does? what prevents it from being there?
- 2) it seems a group of people had decided to do at that title. Personally, iirc, you have to get another group of people to agree to that in order to have it renamed again.
- I hope it helps. Unless I'm mistaken for something.
- Regards,
- Starzoner (talk) 18:38, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Starzoner,
- Thanks for replying.
- Ad 1) Of course, I cannot predict the future, but such conflicts typically don't stop out of a sudden (unfortunately), and the current pandemic may even slow down a resolution even further (or fuel the conflict to end in even more violence - hopefully not). So, in theory, we could leave the status quo for the remaining couple of months, it is just that I was coming around now and if you had not interrupted me, we would have achieved consistency by now. ;-)
- Ad 2) Thank you for pointing to that move discussion, I was not aware of it. A new discussion would be possible, or per WP:BRD I could be bold and see if it sticks.
- I consider compliance with our Manual of Style stronger than that discussion, in particular as some of the participants were clearly unexperienced and misinformed. One of them was even talking about a "policy" to use the "-20" form - of course, there is no policy for either form. What we do have is a guideline asking us for consistency (and this is exactly what I was about to achieve). There are other articles already spanning over three and more years, so they have to use 4-digit years, anyway, and to achieve consistency, the few articles that do not follow this scheme should be renamed. In 2016 we had an RFC with the outcome to preferrably use 4-digit years. Also, we have our Manual of Style (WP:YEARRANGE), which asks us to generally use 4-digit ranges as well (but allows a number of exceptions). These exceptions are typically used for sport seasons and other annual events overlapping the flip of the year, and for which a common naming pattern exists per WP:COMMONNAME. This does not really apply to topics for which no such inherent naming convention exists, but was arbitrarily chosen. Finally, while we support ymd dates only in a number of specific areas, the format is meanwhile a common format in many areas of the world, so forms like "????-??" are likely to be interpreted as "yyyy-mm" first, and then need to be corrected in mind to "yyyy-yy" since "20" isn't a month. While this is not causing actual ambiguity in this particular case, it is at least slowing down the decoding of the form "????-??", thus, making it more difficult to read. In 2019, a new version of ISO 8601 was issued, this added so called EDTF formats to the table, f.e. "2019-21" now officially and internationally means "spring 2019".[3] While it is good that such spans can now be encoded numerically as well, it is making it even more likely that someone will see "????-??" as some form of "yyyy-mm" rather than "yyyy-yy" first.
- "2019-20" is really a corner case, and we could accept it for a couple of months longer, but do we really have to? I don't see any advantages in keeping it. If we can achieve consistency now, why wait for much longer?

COVID–19 pandemic rename
Hi Starzoner, I thank you for renaming to the article COVID–19 pandemic. Now, I have accidentally move the Tennessee article COVID-19 pandemic in Tennessee and I revert it back myself with my explanation error. I see the main article titled as COVID-19 pandemic. Could you request the move to main article COVID–19 pandemic to include the n-dash there is a problem between the hyphen and the n-dash. The COVID-19 pandemic need to rename to replace the hyphen symbol to an en-dash like this COVID–19 pandemic. So I thank you for helping you and I know I can't finish it all titles to rename to an en-dash. I hope you can answer me ASAP. All the best and good luck to you. Steam5 (talk) 03:41, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
Hello Steam5, thank you for the fix. I appreciate it. I will fo fix myself and the pages. Thank you for telling me. Starzoner (talk) 03:43, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Starzoner, I have requested the technical move to COVID–19 pandemic. Look for the title at the requested move/technical request list. Steam5 (talk) 03:47, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Steam5 and Starzoner: Before you get knee-deep into this... what is the basis for the use of the endash? I can't find any pages that use it. Our Coronavirus disease 2019 page certainly does not. -- tariqabjotu 03:55, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
- Oh, I almost forgot, to confirm with the en-dash included on related titles please continue talking to User:Paintspot to confirm it. Steam5 (talk) 03:59, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Tariqabjotu: En-dash is a medium size dash and hyphen is a smallest dash punctuation. I know I can't finish all of them so I will let User:Starzoner to rename all of them to an en-dash so I will get some sleep. Thank you. Steam5 (talk) 03:59, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Steam5: I know that there is a difference between a hyphen and the endash. I am saying that your suggestion to use the endash is not consistent with usage anywhere on Wikipedia, as far as I can tell. So I don't understand where this is originating from. Note that your technical move request has been declined (by someone else); the move to COVID-19 pandemic was consistent with exactly what was proposed on the talk page of the article. -- tariqabjotu 04:03, 4 May 2020 (UTC)

- Hello @Starzoner: and @Steam5:! While I can appreciate the en-dash in general, the most-used spelling of the term is “COVID-19” with a regular standard dash (-) and not an en-dash (–). An overwhelming majority of reliable sources use the regular dash instead of an en-dash. Additionally, the subpages should be consistent with the title that the main page is at (which, as proposed in the main Requested move, is with the regular dash). Paintspot Infez (talk) 04:20, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
- Paintspot and Tariquabjotu, to acknowledge one bit of knowledge learned today, I will use the short dansh instead of the en dash. Just fyi, I live in the east coast USA, so I was alseep when you sent the messages. Starzoner (talk) 12:34, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
- That's fine. By the way, as you probably noticed since I see we conflicted, I used the mass-move tool to move the remaining subpages to the Template:COVID-19 pandemic data template. -- tariqabjotu 12:48, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
Tariqabjotu, can I ask if it I'd possible to rename a category faster than the 48 hour speedy wait? I was hoping to move the categories without needing to wait. Starzoner (talk) 13:59, 4 May 2020 (UTC)

- Hello ST47, I had edited because I thought it was appropriate to do so since the name was changed, and it was a bit more accurate. I don't see a consensus to do. I am sorry and I will stop. Starzoner (talk) 23:23, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
- Similar question, is there some reason why the template redirect {{Infobox Athleticrace}} needed to be replaced? If you want to do these things, you should find consensus and get a bot approval, so that it does not flood recent changes and peoples' watchlists. ST47 (talk) 23:27, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
- I didn't want the thing to be pointing to redirects. and I acknowledge the intended message. If I want to do the same changes, I will seek consensus so it does not flood watchlists. Starzoner (talk) 23:54, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
bypass redirect
There are two things to consider: the bypassing of the redirect, and what the reader sees. Please don't conflate one for the other; that is, consider using [[COVID-19 pandemic|2019–20 coronavirus pandemic]] since "COVID-19 pandemic" is, believe it or not, far less descriptive.
That is, by not using a pipe, you lose the info about the year, useful when you talk about things "this and that happened because of the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic". The point in sentences like these is that something happened during the 2019-2020 season. This dating is lost when the link is bluntly replaced. While you might think everybody knows what the 19 in COVID-19 means, that is not something we should take for granted - the encyclopedia will exist even when people no longer remembers the specifics. Hi, I promoted your hook to Prep 4 at DYK. I would like to ask you to keep an eye on the Nunavut reporting and let us know at WT:DYK if any cases are reported. (I will also be keeping an eye on this.) I'd also like to ask that you update the first sentence in the article to a date this week. If all goes well, Prep 4 will appear on the main page on May 29. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 22:29, 25 May 2020 (UTC)
Yoninah, thanks. Glad to hear it will appear on May 29. I will keep an eye out and updated. :) Starzoner (talk) 01:16, 26 May 2020 (UTC)

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 03:01, 26 May 2020 (UTC)

On 29 May 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article COVID-19 pandemic in Nunavut, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that residents of Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, blocked access to a local goldmine over fears of COVID-19, even though Nunavut had no confirmed cases? You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, COVID-19 pandemic in Nunavut), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Page mover granted
Hello, Starzoner. Your account has been granted the "extendedmover" user right, either following a request for it or demonstrating familiarity with working with article names and moving pages. You are now able to rename pages without leaving behind a redirect, move subpages when moving the parent page(s), and move category pages.
Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Page mover for more information on this user right, especially the criteria for moving pages without leaving redirect. Please remember to follow post-move cleanup procedures and make link corrections where necessary, including broken double-redirects when suppressredirect
is used. This can be done using Special:WhatLinksHere. It is also very important that no one else be allowed to access your account, so you should consider taking a few moments to secure your password. As with all user rights, be aware that if abused, or used in controversial ways without consensus, your page mover status can be revoked.
Useful links:
- Wikipedia:Requested moves
- Category:Articles to be moved, for article renaming requests awaiting action.
If you do not want the page mover right anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Thank you, and happy editing! Anarchyte (talk • work) 05:52, 9 June 2020 (UTC)

You are receiving this notice because you recently edited one or more pages relating to blockchain or cryptocurrencies topics. You have not done anything wrong. We just want to alert you that "general" sanctions are authorized for certain types of edits to those pages.
A community decision has authorized the use of general sanctions for pages related to blockchain and cryptocurrencies. The details of these sanctions are described here. All pages that are broadly related to these topics are subject to a one revert per twenty-four hours restriction, as described here.
General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after the editor has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. The article Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not satisfy film notability guidelines, in particular with respect to future film guidelines. The article was declined as a draft as not satisfying film notability, but then moved to article space, bypassing AFC, which is permitted, but runs the risk of deletion. The edit summary for the move to article space states that a trailer has been released, which is true but irrelevant. There are various myths about the notability of unreleased films, such as that they are notable when principal photography begins or when a trailer is released. In fact, theatrical release does not guarantee that a film is notable, only that it will probably be notable. This film does not yet satisfy film notability.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Robert McClenon (talk) 21:11, 7 July 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for creating Schefflera abyssinica.

Good start. We tilt wp:notability a bit for plants/animals, but usually not down to the species level unless well known, but I'm marking it as reviewed. Is there an error in the first line....should "arboricola" be "abyssinica"? Happy editing.
