If you aspire to be an administrator now, I strongly stress for your enjoyment in editing Wikipedia that it is for experienced users with thousands of edits. Read some successful RfAs, and you will see that they know Wikipedia from the ground up and have demonstrated experience and that the can handle the sensitive tools on Wikipedia.
