Not a cupola. Clocktower! Nice work reporting the damage. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:100F:B10B:4207:858C:5FA6:C3F6:A54A (talk) 04:12, 20 July 2018 (UTC)

Please be careful about what you say to people. Some remarks can easily be misinterpreted, or viewed as harassment. Wikipedia is a supportive environment, where contributors should feel comfortable and safe while editing. Thank you. Störm (talk) 08:29, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
- Commenting about your AfD history and that you didn't do research before putting up a certain nomination is hardly harassment; I would expect my nominations and vote!s to go under the same scrutiny and expect the same responses. Also, I've been here plenty long where a template warning isn't needed and a more personal message is expected. Nate • (chatter) 23:45, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
Hello there
Hi, I couldn't help but notice that BlueBoyLI has been rolling back some of my edits on the New York TV stations page. I agree; I'm just trying to be helpful, but for some reason, he just goes on a power trip. Johnnysama (talk) 01:07, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
Philblue7
Hi Philblue7 has just made another poor edit after your last AN/I warning to them. Just a heads up JC7V-constructive zone 20:15, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
Regarding the revert
I did get a little confused when you reverted my edit to AIV. Could you leave it up to the bot next time? Abequinn14 (talk) 00:58, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
- I wondered the same. Guessing it was a misclick? Home Lander (talk) 00:59, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
- Nevermind, during the time I posted this thing on your talk page, you reverted your edit. Thanks for the quick response. Abequinn14 (talk) 01:01, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
Was The Wizard of Oz a box office bomb?
The Wizard of Oz didn't turn a profit until a re-release in 1949. The shooting and promotional budget at the time was MGM’s highest ever, nearly 3 million dollars, a pittance when compared to today’s costs. But remember in 1939, the average ticket price was less than .25¢. Ten years later it was less than .40¢. Today’s movie ticket costs 20X what it did in 1939, and the cost of making making them, even greater. In 1939, the only other diversion to going to the movies, was reading or listening to the radio. Only New York had live performances (theater, bars and night clubs, sports) as other form of competitive entertainment dollars. We were still in the midst of emerging from the decade old Depression. So that I think it’s fairly clear that it initially bombed, so that’s a reasonable definition. It was ahead of its time, and it didn’t actually make money until a decade after its release BornonJune8 (talk) 12:20, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
Thank You
I appreciate your range block thoughts on Toddst1's talk page. They've been an annoyance to me as well. It's nice to run into another WI editor once in a while! -- Dolotta (talk) 18:04, 17 August 2018 (UTC)
Question for you — I see the LTC granted to K16HY-D on August 9th for the move to channel 14, and it's entirely logical that should have resulted in a call sign change given the way translators are named. But the FCC doesn't show any call sign change for that license, nor do Recnet or Rabbit Ears (logically, since they're fed off the FCC data). So I'm wondering what your source for the new call sign was? To clarify, not doubting you, but wherever you're picking that up from could end up being a useful source for me too, so I'm super curious. Thx. Mlaffs (talk) 23:52, 18 August 2018 (UTC)
- Entirely likely. Things are pretty clean on the radio side, but there's a whole lot out of whack in the FCC TV database at the moment. Mlaffs (talk) 00:58, 19 August 2018 (UTC)

I live in Minneapolis and view the stations regularly so I know what the PSIP shows. Also Rabbitears has shown the correct PSIP info for a while now.50.83.81.34 (talk) 23:52, 29 August 2018 (UTC)50.83.81.34
Cheddar U
Hello, I noticed that you edit American television channels a lot. I just thought I would let you know that MTVU rebranded as Cheddar U in late July, and as I am not the greatest at rewriting articles, may I kindly ask that you please help out in restructing the article if possible? Thank you. 18:44, 6 September 2018 (UTC)

Hello Mrschimpf, Early in A Child's Christmas in Wales the young Dylan and his friend Jim Prothero witness smoke pouring from Jim's home. After the conflagration has been extinguished Dylan writes that My thanks to you for your efforts to keep the 'pedia readable in case the firemen chose one of our articles :-) Best wishes to you and yours and happy editing in 2019. "Nickcrufters"
I know you hate us, but can you at least NOT call us that? We consider it rude. Thanks. HurricaneGeek2002 (talk) 21:03, 22 December 2018 (UTC)
And how do you know the removal of Nick games is "temporary" when the network hasn't said anything about it? HurricaneGeek2002 (talk) 21:05, 22 December 2018 (UTC)

Hi
I have a question to ask - the article The Saturday Show (BBC TV series) has multiple sections based on the show's history, which appear to mostly be original research. I was going to remove the sections, but I noticed that the "2002 to 2004" section has a source in it. Would it be alright if you helped me improve the article, or perhaps direct me to somebody else who could help? Foxnpichu (talk) 13:18, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
