Thank you!

Thanks for helping to deal with the incorrect edits on the WordGirl page... the same IP keeps changing the episode order and number of seasons. Hopefully the temporary protection of the page will discourage that user from editing again soon.

CountryRadio

Are you familiar with CountryRadio? He's copied your entire big warning, not even changing the gibberish file name that you might get asked to rename. Nyttend (talk) 06:34, 24 January 2013 (UTC)

Hmm, interesting. He copied someone else's userpage too, because I had to remove {{administrator}} from it, and although it's not yet been opened, he's created Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/CountryRadio. Nyttend (talk) 14:11, 24 January 2013 (UTC)

WP Television Stations in the Signpost

The WikiProject Report would like to focus on WikiProject Television Stations for a Signpost article. This is an excellent opportunity to draw attention to your efforts and attract new members to the project. Would you be willing to participate in an interview? If so, here are the questions for the interview. Just add your response below each question and feel free to skip any questions that you don't feel comfortable answering. Multiple editors will have an opportunity to respond to the interview questions, so be sure to sign your answers. If you know anyone else who would like to participate in the interview, please share this with them. Have a great day. –Mabeenot (talk) 06:23, 3 February 2013 (UTC)

Help!

Hi. First off, sorry about the catastrophe I caused deleting everything on accident! I'm quite embarrassed, haha. As for my original purpose, I was wondering if you could help me with a situation. Someone has created a List of Guinness World Records Gone Wild Episodes article when there's really no point since the series hasn't even aired 5 episodes. They could add the episode summaries to the episode guide on the main article, correct? The summaries their adding are copy-and-paste from TV Guide. I already attempted to shut them down first time by redirecting when they created List of Guinness World Records Gone Wild but then they made the first linked article. It also seems that the user who created the page is also using their bare IP to wikilink their article onto the main article, same user added it then re-added it after I removed it the first time. I really don't know how to handle this so I thought I would ask someone with much more Wikipedia wisdom. Update: Well the user keeps removing the guide from the main article now, and it for sure seems like he's guilty of sockpuppeting. Used the username the first time, then the same IP after. --Recollected (talk) 03:08, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Article Feedback deployment

Hey Mrschimpf; I'm dropping you this note because you've used the article feedback tool in the last month or so. On Thursday and Friday the tool will be down for a major deployment; it should be up by Saturday, failing anything going wrong, and by Monday if something does :). Thanks, Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 22:34, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

User:Pablootoya19

Hi Mrschimpf! Noticed some back and forth between you and User:Pablootoya19, at Nickelodeon Movies for example. Thought I might point you to this sockpuppet investigation for Rodolfootoya12 et al. The MO seems consistent: introduces details about his/her hoax in legitimate articles, attempts to sneak hoax information onto Wikipedia via User:Talk and Userspace, as if to legitimize the information so they can trick people offsite. Kinda like, "Oh, you don't believe me? Look, it's on Wikipedia!" Think we should re-open the SPI? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:28, 22 March 2013 (UTC)

Recent warning to 159.83.4.1

Just thought you should know. The above IP address is a computer in the Los Angeles County Library system. Blocking it would be futile. Thanks!WQUlrich (talk) 18:16, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

Blocked address

Hey guys, before logging on I got a warning about vandalism because of this IP address. This IP address belongs to the LA County Library here in California. This particular computer is located in the Lancaster public library. There are 20 computers in this library, and the other public libray across town has at least ten and it uses the same IP. I am not sure, but apparently all computers in LA county libraries (which includes all the public libraries in Los Angeles) use the same IP address. Could you bring this to the attention of the appropriate people at Wikipedia? Thanx. Robinlarson (talk) 17:23, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Overkill?

I just checked. You have indeed blocked access to every computer in the L.A. County Library system. This could get you in trouble.WQUlrich (talk) 18:16, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

If not, it will certainly drive the librarians crazy.WQUlrich (talk) 18:26, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
Okay...it just doesn't seem right to penalize a lot of innocent people...although I know that casual editors can be a problem even when they're not trying to cause trouble. 'Nuff said.WQUlrich (talk) 19:10, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Katerynotoya30

Hey, good eagle-eye at Nickelodeon Movies. I believe Katerynotoya30 is another Rodolfootoya12 sock. Reported. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:33, 13 April 2013 (UTC)

QVC on broadcast Tv

Hey there! I noticed you reverted an edit claiming QVC was on a broadcast station in Dallas. I can't speak to that station, but QVC is definitely on the air on two low-power stations here in Houston. So it can happen. --Gridlock Joe (talk) 01:42, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

Only one final match air FTA a season

UEFA Champions League is a season long tournament, the whole world, not just in US, but France also, have only final air FTA. Every broadcaster in the world which doesn't have right, can opt to buy from UEFA or current rights holder to shown the final. Second, Fox Sports is NOT FREE, it just contracted to air a final match for free, this doesn't match what a FTA broadcaster taking a season long right, like ITV in UK. --Aleenf1 03:47, 25 May 2013 (UTC)

I'm sorry, what do you mean, i have few points for you already, UEFA Champions League is a seasoning tournament, and you listed only one free-to-air final match for the sake of...? I don't think whether one FTA match can significantly more important than long term contracted broadcasters. I'm repeat, not only US have one only final match shown FTA, and furthermore Fox is not FREE, it just CONTRACTED to air the final FREE. --Aleenf1 04:25, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
