RE: W43BR
It's probably understandable that there is some apparent confusion figuring out the license history of W43BR — largely because of the nature of how the station has been licensed in its two decades of operation, and the fact that even the Federal Communications Commission appears to have occasionally gotten lost sorting it out. In the FCC's CDBS database, W43BR shows up as an interim operation. Applications tied to W43BR's facility ID number consist entirely of extensions of special temporary authority filed since March 2002, but have actually been regularly granted since May 29, 1997. The most recent request was the one filed on February 24, 2015, but despite what it looks like W43BR was not abandoned. Rather, this is around the time the FCC moved technical applications from CDBS to its new Licensing and Management System, and its September 30, 2015 filing in LMS was under a different facility ID. New facility IDs were also generated for the filings on March 1, 2016, September 12, 2016, January 30, 2017, and March 9, 2017. That facility ID seems to have stuck, at least for now; the filing on October 4, 2017 uses it. The LMS applications all have no call sign directly associated with them in the database — but within the attachments from both the licensee and the FCC staff, the "temporary call sign" of W43BR is still associated with each of them. (As best I can tell, however, this explains the six no-call-sign construction permits for channel 43 in Baraboo shown in TV Query.) And while the forward-thinking FCC built LMS with the assumption that analog television is dead and buried and requires specifying a digital channel on the form, W43BR is still an analog station (and the owners even acknowledge that the FCC seems to have gotten confused in their handling of W43BR).
Long story short, W43BR appears to still exist, and is still analog. How the construction permits for W43DD-D, W45DR-D, and W47EA-D fit into all this, I have no idea… all three were granted in 2011 and their most recent CP extensions were through 2015, but the only filing I've found for those three stations since then was coming along in the sale of WRPQ (though that might be because of the suspension of expiration dates for active low-power digital CPs). W43BR is only mentioned in the sale application in the context of apparently being on the verge of being shut down and dismantled, as the then-most-recent STA was set to expire on April 5, 2017 and at the time the FCC had indicated there would be no extensions after then… but since W43BR STA applications have continued all this time, they went to the trouble of telling the FCC they're still an analog station, and the FCC ultimately did extend the STA beyond that date, W43BR has not yet been replaced by W43DD-D, at least at this time. --WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 07:13, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for your help at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/East Downers Grove, Illinois. It actually looks as if it was this edit by a registered user that caused the mischief. Are you able to reverse the page move? Thanks! Magnolia677 (talk) 03:12, 13 January 2018 (UTC)

KVME-TV and Heroes and Icons
I find it curious that the H&I emblem is copyrighted for only one site, whereas the ME-TV which is also on their website somehow is not. Both ME-TV and H&I are owned by Weigel Broadcasting out of Chicago, Il. How come you never removed the ME-TV emblem from channel 20. Why is the emblem from one of their networks restricted and the other not. Why would they not want their affiliates promote their network. I will contact Weigel and see why they would want to restrict their network symbol for H&I and apparently not? for ME-TV. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bobm217 (talk • contribs) 15:42, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
Paris
Okay. The Paris Geller article is back and hopefully in good shape. That's probably it for my contributions. Peace. -- James26 (talk) 21:56, 11 February 2018 (UTC)
Yuks TV
Hello Mr. Schimpf,
Brother, respectfully, your description of Yuks TV as a "public domain scraper" isn't correct.
It seems to be your personal opinion of the material, not a true evaluation of whether Yuks TV is a internet television provider.
Yes, material in the public domain does appear on Yuks TV, but it is first repackaged and edited into 1280 X 720 HD and is the highest quality possible.
Also, Yuks TV offers hours of new original programs every week.
The most important point is that Yuks TV has been providing "internet television" longer/before than most of the companies on the list, as evidenced by this 2006 NY Times article.
Do a Wayback Machine search and you'll find Yuks TV in 2005, about the time you started editing on Wikipedia.
To categorize Yuks TV as a "public domain scraper" really doesn't show much consideration for the work that has been put into it for over a decade.
Best regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yeliad (talk • contribs) 05:27, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
Kids Choice Awards
Hello, I was just wondering why you were undoing my edits on the kids choice awards? All I was doing was adding links. Is there something that I’m doing wrong? Can you please explain?

Keepers
Just a note to say I think all the keep voters at certain non-notable painter AfD's are basically two, maybe three, people total. It's too weird that the same thing happens every time it gets nominated. See the SPI for Jesse Waugh. 104.163.147.121 (talk) 03:11, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
About removed sizes of files
Hi, you sent me a message to stop t remove pixels size, but when I remove it, sometime it's non essential for files and it appreciates logos or images. If the files become too large, I will not remove it. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Videoway (talk • contribs) 11:25, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
All Hanity talks about is Clinton
Sorry if it triggered you, but all Seany talks about is Hill. Every time I turn on his show he brings her up. Sorry it offended you to hear the truth. MostlyTexasArticles (talk) 15:46, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
- Have you listened to his show? It's all about (inane political attack stuff removed; read the history if you care Nate • (chatter) 15:55, 19 April 2018 (UTC)). You can be b---hurt and try to control the article all you want to though. Btw, this isn't my first rodeo and I know you have to issue multiple warning and discuss things before an admin will ban and editor. Don't try to intimidate me. About my recent edits
Hi, I don’t know why you send me theses messages about sizes of logos and you revert my edits, what I did was correct because it was non essential sizes, if sizes are essentials, I will not modify the sizes, you just have to see the differences between edits and you will have the proof.
When you reverted my edits, you also reintroduced obvious errors in the articles.
About the edits of Target Corporation, someone has changed the logo for not reason, and I reintroduced the original logo. Thank you.--Videoway (talk) 19:41, 27 April 2018 (UTC)
New Page Patrol?
Hi Mrschimpf,
I've recently been looking for editors to invite to join New Page Patrol, and from your editing history, I think you would be a good candidate. Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time but it requires a good understanding of Wikipedia policies and guidelines; we could use some additional help from an experienced user like yourself.
Would you please consider becoming a New Page Reviewer? (After gaining the flag, patrolling is not mandatory. One can do it at their convenience). But kindly read the tutorial before making your decision. If you choose to apply, you can drop an application over at WP:PERM/NPR.
Cheers, and hope to see you around, — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here) 21:19, 23 June 2018 (UTC)
