Where is the List of Contributors?
Hello
Where is the useful List of Contributors that used to be accessible from the History page of each article? It seems to have been replaced by a Cat Scan (I thought that was a medical procedure!) which has your name on it, and which I find totally incomprehensible. What is it supposed to do? Is there some way to restore the List of Contributors (perhaps in addition to the Cat Scan), so that one can find out quickly who are the principal contributors to an article? Dirac66 (talk) 02:22, 11 June 2014 (UTC)
- I have no idea what you are talking about. No such thing happened, as far as I am aware. Please provide an example. --Magnus Manske (talk) 14:42, 11 June 2014 (UTC)
- When I go to the History page of a random article and click on Contributors, I am taken to a page such as this example [1]. The first line says CatScan V2.0β by Magnus Manske, which is why I have written to you. Until a few weeks ago, clicking on Contributors led to a list of contributors to an article in descending order of number of edits (e.g. Editor A 124 edits, Editor B 71 edits, etc.) Then for a few weeks there was a notice about modifications in progress, and now it leads to this form which I do not understand. Is there a way to use the form to obtain the List of Contributors as formerly? Dirac66 (talk) 19:11, 11 June 2014 (UTC)
- This is news to me, and not my doing. On an example page, the URL points to https://toolserver.org/~daniel/WikiSense. This is a URL on the toolserver, which is to be scrapped at the end of the month. That user account has expired, and someone redirected the URL to my tool. Again, I did not to this, I don't know why this was done, or who did it; nor can I change it. Daniel may know, or the toolserver admins. --Magnus Manske (talk) 22:08, 11 June 2014 (UTC)
- OK, thanks for your reply. I have now found another solution to the problem. From the discussion at Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)/Archive 127#Tool for Page →History → Contributors, I realized that a list of contributors is now available using the Revision history statistics tool, in the section named Top editors. This solves my problem, but perhaps you can help publicize the solution for other editors. I see that you placed a notice on the form which is reached by clicking on List of Contributors, saying "If you're upset because you wanted WikiSense and got this page instead, complain to Daniel, not me!". I think it would be more helpful to place a notice saying "For a list of contributors to an article, click on Revision history statistics on the History page, and then scroll down to Top editors." I would do this myself but I don't know how to edit that form. Dirac66 (talk) 19:59, 14 June 2014 (UTC)

Quick Intersection Question
I tried to use the quick intersection tool on Mathematics. It gave me this error. Do I need different permissions? I think there are more than 30,000 pages in this category. This seems like a very useful tool, if I can get it to work. I would like to look at several larger categories and standardize them. Thanks.

- You can increase the expected result number in the form. Also, try the "sparse" mode if all you want is page titles. Huge, deep category trees tend to branch into other, unrelated categories; one bad categorization is all it takes. Try depth 7 instead of 12, it should work fine. --Magnus Manske (talk) 21:52, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
- Mathematics is a problem because it includes space/dimension/and a few other incredibly broad categories, which themselves include almost everything else. I think mathematicians like it that way, that basically the whole universe is technically just a subset of math according to wikipedia.--Obi-Wan Kenobi (talk) 01:19, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
Image link broken on GLAMorous
Hi,
I didn't find how to log that one on JIRA,
In the GLAMorous tool, when asking for details, there is a link to find the page where an image is used.
This link is not working for wikipedias having a "-" in the language code, the one I know of are: bat-smg.wikipedia, be-x-old.wikipedia, nds-nl.wikipedia
The link is pointing to same URL but with lower "_", respectively: bat_smg.wikipedia, be_x_old.wikipedia, nds_nl.wikipedia
To check, you can look at my images, activate the details and look at the first image, Feu de tourbe.JPG, you will see a page to each of the 3 sites above.
Note that changing the URL replacing the "_" by "-" by hand give a valid URL.
Sorry for spaming on your Talk page, and thanks for the tool,

Terminator - non-articles given as articles
http://tools.wmflabs.org/wikidata-terminator/?list&lang=en&mode=tx - great tool, thank you!
"Top 1000 items with missing articles" - but shown are also items that are categories and templates.
I made my own link for geo-items http://tools.wmflabs.org/wikidata-terminator/?list&lang=en&mode=tx&q=claim[31:(tree[15916867,618123][][279])]
But would be nice if the main list would be free or free-able from templates and categories. Cheers Tamawashi (talk) 02:15, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
CommonsHelper

- It shouldn't. Maybe some third-party-cookie filter in your browser/plugins? --Magnus Manske (talk) 08:32, 11 July 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks. I changed a setting and will see how that works.
- Feature request (sorry but I do not know how to use the JIRA system) : add =={{int:filedesc}}== above the information template. I had to add it manually to all the new files I moved to commons, even though the old ones on WP had them.
- Done. Not sure why this is necessary though; doesn't really make a difference to humans, and bots couldn't care less...
- Second feature request: Comparing a file I moved with one someone else had moved, I noticed that the upload log section of their file was a lot prettier than mine. I looked at the wikicode to see why and realized that it had been moved with a different tool, For the Common Good. I'm not a coder so I didn't understand how it worked and didn't think I could make it work with copy/paste. But it might look simple to you and be something you could add really easily.
- You know, linking to an example would have been ... helpful. I finally found this example. Hacked CommonsHelper to produce something similar now. --Magnus Manske (talk) 21:02, 11 July 2014 (UTC)

Problems with FIST
As a side note, the "my toolserver tools" link at the top of this Talk page goes to a "403: User account expired" warning. What I actually want to report is that FIST searches result in a "Fatal error: Call to undefined function db_get_articles_in_category() in /data/project/fist/public_html/fist.php on line 425" error message. --82.136.210.153 (talk) 18:00, 20 July 2014 (UTC)

WikiShootMe limited to 10km?
I love the WikiShootMe tool, but it doesn't seem to return any results if I search for articles in a radius larger than 10km. Is that a deliberate limitation? Thanks! —Tim Pierce (talk) 17:46, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
- Not hard-coded, but the tool is currently limited to 500 candidate articles; if you have a "busy" location like central London, this might get "flooded" with articles having an image. I need to re-write the thing to use Wikidata in any case... --Magnus Manske (talk) 10:49, 26 August 2014 (UTC)
- Hmm. When I ask the tool for articles in a sparsely populated location (e.g. Franklin County, Maine) it reports that it's searching 12 articles. But if I select the same starting article and change to 12km, it says "Loading list" and a spinning wheel, and never even gets as far as reporting the number of candidate articles it's searching. Have you not been able to reproduce that behavior? Thanks - —Tim Pierce (talk) 19:52, 26 August 2014 (UTC)
- You are correct; no idea why though. Re-write moving up the priority list... --Magnus Manske (talk) 15:58, 27 August 2014 (UTC)

Tool to find frequently used PNG image within category
Hello Magnus,
I have just seen some of your tools (especially the wikidata game was very nice :-) ).
Do you know if there is a tool with which I can find images within the mathematics category (for the German wiki) that are PNG (or even worse: JPG or gif (when its not animated)) images and then sort those images by how often they are used in Wikipedia?
I like creating images for mathematics of high quality (see de:Benutzer:MartinThoma/Visualisierungen), but as it takes a long time to create those images I want to make good choices what to improve.
Best regards, --MartinThoma (talk) 14:10, 29 August 2014 (UTC)

Move-to-commons assistant
Hi Magnus, after transferring files to commons with the Move-to-commons assistant there is a button to delete the original image. Since i am not an admin i cannot do it and get an error message. Wouldn't it be reasonable that for users with insufficient rights, a template for deletion is inserted into the page (such as Template:NowCommons)? WDQ data dump updates
Hi, I am greatly interested in your WDQ query interface and currently testing it. It says "the data used here is from WikiData "dumps", so it can be a few hours old". The question is how old it is or can be? and is there a way to find the timestamp of the current dump? The question arose from this discussion in Russian. Bridges across the Danube returns 38 items. It is much lesser than should be because many bridges entries do not have P177 (crosses) set at all or having it set wrongly. Yet I manually set this property for one of bridges at Sep. 11. Today is Sep. 16 and still nothing is changed in query results. --NeoLexx (talk) 14:14, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
Also I just wrote a WDQ interface decription in Russia with some bugs and critics added, see w:ru:Проект:Списки/WDQ. --NeoLexx (talk) 20:45, 17 September 2014 (UTC)

Flommons attribution
It looks like the flommons attribution system needs a bit of work, as the current "From [LastUploader]" attribution seems to be pissing off some original uploaders.
The page she talks about is [4]. While the image description is technically correct (the author is the original author from {{Information}} but the picture displayed is the latest version, with the corresponding uploader and date), the images list is only listing the latest uploader as author. This is a breach of license for CC-BY-SA, since theoretically all users should have been credited, but more importantly, it lists an user that might have had no creative involvement in the making of the image (such as RotateBot).
I suggest you replace the latest uploader with the first uploader in the image lists. Thanks.-Strainu (talk) 15:36, 24 September 2014 (UTC)
Tools question
Hi Magnus, I'm importing a tool to Tool Labs and having no luck getting Perl to run via cgi-bin. The URL is:
The source for test.pl is:
- #!/usr/bin/perl
- print "Content-type: text/html<br><br>";
- print "Hello World!";
test.pl is located in the document root (~/public_html) with 755 perms.
It's using the default lighttpd configuration (no ~/.lighttpd.conf). The interesting thing is when looking at 'view source' for the output it says: The URI you have requested, <a href="/ext-lnk-discover/test.pl"><code>/ext-lnk-discover/test.pl</code></a>, appears to be non-functional at this time.". However the script runs fine from the command line. Any ideas? I've had the same trouble with similar bash and csh test scripts as well. Thanks. -- GreenC 18:11, 19 September 2014 (UTC)
Update: I was able to work around this by using PHP to launch the script with a system().. never could figure how to run scripts (bash, perl, csh) via CGI. If you have a .lighttpd.conf that does I would be curious to see. -- GreenC 02:51, 21 September 2014 (UTC)
Update2: Figured out the problem with CGI. Nothing to see here :) Thanks. -- GreenC 14:47, 25 September 2014 (UTC)

- Neither does it on Catalan Wikipedia. It produces There was an error running the query [Table 'cawiki_p.page' doesn't exist].
- I think there is something broken in the labs with Catalan Wikipedia, because category maps don't work, too. For example, https://tools.wmflabs.org/osm4wiki/cgi-bin/wiki/wiki-osm.pl?project=ca&article=Categoria%3AEdificis_modernistes_de_Barcelona (cawiki) doesn't work, while https://tools.wmflabs.org/osm4wiki/cgi-bin/wiki/wiki-osm.pl?project=de&article=Kategorie%3ABauwerk_in_Katalonien (dewiki) works fine as usual. Thanks for this, and sorry for reporting this here, jira doesn't seem to be there at the moment. The tool does some strange things with this file, which has "int:license-header" and "int:filedesc" headers, but a non-standard template for the information. I'm not suggesting you should handle the random template cases, but it seems odd that the headers get broken, and the info template is placed outside of "int:filedesc". --jnkyrdsprkl (talk) 22:01, 8 October 2014 (UTC)

CommonsHelper for files of Armenian Wikipedia
Hello Magnus, i currently trying to transfer photos with Armenian file names with your tool. But it always complains that the file does not exist on Armenian Wikipedia. Example: For file hy:Պատկեր:Տառերի_պուրակ,_հայոց_այբուբենի_հուշարձան_(7).JPG it complains "Image "Տառերի_պուրակ,_հայոց_այբուբենի_հուշարձան_(7).JPG" does not exist on hy.wikipedia!". Hello! I'm writing you from Ukrainian wikipedia and want to tell you that almost all tools, which I use, don't work here. - Well, first, which one is Ukranian? I'll assume it's "uk" for now. In that case, it appears that CatScan works fine. "It does not work" is never, ever, a good bug report. Tell me an example of what you do, what result you expect, and what happens instead. Preferably something that happens always in the wrong way, so I can see that it goes wrong, figure out how it goes wrong, and confirm that I fixed it. --Magnus Manske (talk) 21:48, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
- I'm sorry that my request is like a Neanderthal's speech, but I will try to explain (It will not be easy - my English is bad). Try to refresh this page, for example, with «Донецька_область» category, with depth 10, do not «filter out links from templates used in category pages» and «do not list links that are wanted only» 6 time(s). If you get a result — write how you get it. Also I use JoanJoc's tool «Suggest articles from interwikis». But when I «Look articles in» ru, «Project» wiki, «Without interwiki to» uk, «Inside category:» Донецкая область «depth» 3 it does not generate anything — in bottom left corner is «expect on tools.wmflabs.org...» and nothing happens.--Шиманський Василь (talk) 06:24, 15 October 2014 (UTC)
CatScan rewrite?
Hi Magnus,
I am writing about the apprent rewrite that's being made on the CatScan right now. Are you involved in this? Unfortunately for the Wiki Loves Monuments organizing team, this rewrite is coming at the worst time, as we've been relying on the CatScan's specific format to extract image data from Commons.
I can modify my WLM tool to work with the new version, but need extended image data. Do you have any idea when the "Extended data for files" option will again be available?
Even better, is there an old version of CatScan still around that I can use?
Sorry to bother you, but this is just super-important for WLM which is just wrapping up now with the judging.
Thanks in advance, —Ynhockey (Talk) 19:46, 20 October 2014 (UTC)

Flickr-to-Commons
Is just excellent thank you. But I do wonder why when I have settled down to an evening of uploading images from Flickr I am so often denied transfer to Commons because I am unauthorised. How much delay is permitted between each upload? I am sure it used to be a little more than it is now. I have just received a slightly different message "Transfer failed [1] : Not authorized (bad API response[isAuthOK]: null)" Is this telling me any more than it failed?
And why can't it just say what other errors are instead of type 2 or whatever - not that i've ever managed to find an explanation of them.
But its great to have Flickr2commons and Thank you. Eddaido (talk) 10:29, 23 October 2014 (UTC)

Hello Magnus. We (Wikimedia Spain) use your tool to get information. Thank you very much for your work. The previous version let us discover how many diferent pages were using files from a category, but not now. Now I can only know how many images were being used, and it doesn't say if they are distinct files or only the total one. How could we get this information? Thanks. --Millars (talk) 00:30, 27 October 2014 (UTC)

Match on string with space char broken ?
Hi Magnus, User:Jheald and I were experimenting with a query that had space chars in one of the values. We know that there should be a match, but for Republic of Ireland, it returns a result on 'Republic' where it should return a result for 'Republic of Ireland'. We tried other forms incl. underscores and %20 encoding, but those did not seem to work either. I suspect that there is a escaping problem in WikiDataQuery ? —TheDJ (talk • contribs) 16:52, 15 November 2014 (UTC)

How can we add this list to Mix'n'match?
Hi. Please see User_talk:Piotrus#Re:_m:Mix.27n.27match - I have updated the List of Poles page with a dropbox link to the xls file I got in 2005. I am checking if we can get an updated version, but for now - can you tell me what would need to be done to convert this XLS into a file that you could process in M'n'M? (And if you can tell me who can help with such a conversion, please do; I probably don't have skills to do it - I am, unfortunately, not a hacker/coder, not even a decent spreadsheet one). PS. If you reply here, please ping/echo/talkback me, thanks. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:29, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
- Hi @Piotrus:, usually I do "proper" external catalogs, and want the following columns: external ID, external name, external description, external URL. I can make do with just the external name, and create fake IDs; description and URL are optional, but a description with birth/death date is usually really helpful. The list would initially be "blank", that is, not associated with Wikidata items; I have some scripts that can make an automated guess, though. I'd rather not use the page links in the Wikipedia lists because, frankly, I have no idea if they link to the right person, or if maybe a redlink was silently "converted" to blue, but with the wrong article. So you'd have to start from scratch, more or less. On the plus side, you'd gain access to the Polish Wikipedia via Wikidata, that should match some entries. Which is the "canonical copy" at the moment - the Wikipedia lists? --Magnus Manske (talk) 21:03, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
- Update: I have extracted ~25K Poles from the wiki lists. Should I go ahead and create the mix-n-match entry? Does the source encyclopedia have a website I can link to? --Magnus Manske (talk) 21:18, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
- Magnus, thank you for quick reply. Let's wait a day or two - maybe we can receive the list updated with the new volume (through it would only add entries). Source encyclopedia is Polski Slownik Biograficzny; it is not fully available online (I thought it wasn't at all, but now I'll have to explore the [7] through it doesn't seem finished); in either case it does have a webpage (English one is here). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:49, 30 October 2014 (UTC)

- Do you mean we have to manually review all of those entries? What about the 2/3rds that didn't auto-match? I am not sure what can be done, and how. If there's some kind of "next step how-to/FAQ/manual", please direct me to it; otherwise I'll wait to be told how can I help :) PS. What's up with the "Not on Wikidata" section? I thought every biography was imported...? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:47, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
- As explained above, yes, all 24K entries will have to be manually assigned, or at least verified, unless you know a way to do that automatically; and Wikipedia lists don't count, as explained above. (Maybe I could use them for auto-matching, though.) The next step is "dig in" and assign Wikidata items - that's what the tool is for. As for the "Not on Wikidata" section, it is precisely what it says - there is no entry for these people on Wikidata yet. These items can, of course, be created at some stage. I'm not sure what else you expected from this? --Magnus Manske (talk) 08:57, 11 November 2014 (UTC)

(collapsing list) Here is why I don't trust the Wikipedia lists:
- Mikołaj Abramowicz d. 1651 generał artylerii litewskiej
- Mikołaj Abramowicz 1788 - 1835 marszałek szlachty; sędzia; szambelan
These two entries, about two different people who happen to have the same name, link to the same Wikipedia article. One of these links is obviously wrong. I really don't want to "contaminate" the mix'n'match lists with this. --Magnus Manske (talk) 09:01, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
- I am happy to help, but I don't know what to do. Should I click the S? The D? One of the percentage links? And then, click what? Is there a how-to-help guide? I am afraid to mess things up, so I don't want to click at random - would hate to delete the list, or something. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:58, 13 November 2014 (UTC)
- First, you can't delete the list :-) And no, there is no manual; the number of contributors is too small at the moment to warrant that. You can, of course, start your own; try "discuss" in the top bar... As for things to do: In the PSB row, you can click on the the first "number column" link (header "Automatic"); that is a list of name-based matches to Wikidata, they have "just" to be confirmed or removed. Or try [G], which is the "game mode" for names to be matched; click on the appropriate Q number in the suggested list, or manually enter it if you find it via Google search etc. Always remember, this is supposed to be a "quality list", so when in doubt, don't match an item to an entry. And make sure you are logged into WiDaR first! --Magnus Manske (talk) 12:48, 14 November 2014 (UTC)

- Ok, more n00b questions. At [9], I see of example an entry with an error: surname of "Piotr Korzbok WITKOWSKI" should be decapialized. How can I fix it?
Also, how can we mark an item as "not in any Wikipedia yet" so that it would be removed from the game/queue (at least for few weeks/months)?(Figured that one out). Finally, in the game mode, the message state "pl.wikipedia search results". A tiny number of entries may have entries on English or other Wikipedias but not on Polish one; how to check for that? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 11:05, 16 November 2014 (UTC)
- Ok, more n00b questions. At [9], I see of example an entry with an error: surname of "Piotr Korzbok WITKOWSKI" should be decapialized. How can I fix it?
Ok, I joined the party. Sadly, there's plenty of contaminated links. A typical example is "Feliks Kramsztyk Izaak": the entry takes its description from wikidata:Q1676102, but part of the name is apparently from Izaak's son, pl:Feliks Kramsztyk. In short: probably two PSB entries got merged into one. Any idea what to do when I stumble upon such situation? Ping me if you do :) //Halibutt 00:12, 17 November 2014 (UTC)
- In order: (a) A "wrong" name can ATM only be fixed by me editing the database (which I don't scale to;-) The important thing is not the proper display in mix'n'match, but the connection of the source name/ID with a Wikidata item; just ignore the spelling. (b) The tool can only search only one Wikipedia directly at a time, so I chose the most likely one. The Google search links at the bottom are pre-filled to search across all Wikipedias/Wikidata. (c) If there can be no single match for an entry, you could tag it as "not on Wikidata", or as not applicable (N/A); that option is not available in Game mode though. Just skip it for now. --Magnus Manske (talk) 09:23, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
Ok, after tagging a couple hundred names I can definitely pinpoint some bugs and possible improvements:
- The Mix'n'match script apparently doesn't like the first name of "Ignacy" for some reason. On a number of occasions it got added after the surname of the person, with the first name taken from the preceding entry. It seems weird, but apparently that's how it works. Examples: "Aleksander Kozikowski Ignacy" (real name: Ignacy Kozikowski, preceding person: Aleksander Kozikowski), "Ferdynand Kozłowski Ignacy" (real name: Ignacy Kozłowski, preceding person: Ferdynand Kozłowski). Any idea how to fix that?
- Adding dates to search criteria for Google searches might indeed improve the results a little (not sure if that's the case). However, it completely breaks internal pl.Wikipedia searches. The new search mechanism gets lost most of the times with the date, the user has to erase the date manually to find anything. Every time.
- Wikipedia CirrusSearch and Google are also lost when they encounter two first names. Example: PSB often uses both first names of a person while Wikipedia only uses the first, with the second often added in the lead. Result: when I click the search buttons next to, say, "Władysław Ryszard Kozłowski" Wiki search shows no results at all while there's plenty of Google links - none of them valid (articles on specific dates and such). Yet we have no less than 8 people named Władysław Kozłowski to chose from. //Halibutt 23:28, 19 November 2014 (UTC)

Glamourous vs. pywikibot
Hi Magnus. Let me start by saying this is just a question, but if you want, I can log a bug in Bitbucket.
I tried running http://tools.wmflabs.org/glamtools/glamorous.php?doit=1&category=Images+from+Wiki+Loves+Monuments+2014+in+Romania&use_globalusage=1&show_details=1&projects[wikipedia]=1&projects[wikimedia]=1&projects[wikisource]=1&projects[wikibooks]=1&projects[wikiquote]=1&projects[wiktionary]=1&projects[wikinews]=1&projects[wikivoyage]=1&projects[wikispecies]=1&projects[mediawiki]=1&projects[wikidata]=1&projects[wikiversity]=1 on glamourous and I got that 1197 of the images were in use.
I also have a similar piece of code written in Pywikibot, which reports 1636 used files (from the same number of total files). The part that does the calculation is:
used = False p = pywikibot.FilePage(pywikibot.Site(), title) for linked in p.usingPages(total=1): used = True break
Do you have any idea what could lead to such a huge difference? Thanks.--Strainu (talk) 21:22, 5 December 2014 (UTC)

In page sv:Wikipedia:Utmärkta listor is there a link to your tool with the text: "En slumpvald utmärkt lista". When the random generator "hits" articles with "Swedish" letters like Å, Ä and Ö, the tool instead links to a pages with an error in the title, forexample instead of "Lista över tränare som vunnit titlar i Uefa-klubbtävlingar" you are linked to "Lista över tränare som vunnit titlar i Uefa-klubbtävlingar". Your research into the gender issues
I've just read [12]. We did try to advertise our work (it was on meta...) but I do realize it's not very efficient. I hope you don't abandon your research. In fact, I wonder if we could collaborate on a follow-up research that would pull together both yours and ours (mine and Max's) efforts? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 23:34, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
- To be explicit our research was online at meta:Research_talk:Wikipedia_Gender_Inequality_Index, but Piotr was right, it wasn't advertised that widely. One thing we could also talk about is merging our two results, into one paper, and all being coauthors on the same paper. Might be able to get a more prestigious journal. Our paper is on google docs here. Maximilianklein (talk)
- Well, my stuff was more spur-of-the-moment; we had a "volunteer meeting" in Birmingham last year, and someone said "gender stats", so I started prodding Wikidata, and before I knew it I was doing R plots, so I thought "I should publish this" :-) Then I fell sick in December and am still recovering, so nothing was added in that time. I've shared my Google doc with Maximilianklein, feel free to share it with Piotr; too embarrassing for public release in its current state ;-) I don't want to bully myself onto your author list, but if there's anything you like in my results, let's talk! --Magnus Manske (talk) 10:52, 14 January 2015 (UTC)

CommonsDelinker deletes equal signs in infoboxes
Hi, I hope this is the right place to make a report about CommonsDelinker. It has made recently deletions in infoboxes inclusive equal-sign ("="). Could you have a look at it? Equal signs would be better not to touch. Thank you in advance. Ato 01 (talk) 06:17, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
- Should be fixed now. --Magnus Manske (talk) 14:19, 30 January 2015 (UTC)
Several errors with ISBN2Wiki
I've tried your webtool "ISBN2Wiki" with three different ISBN but all queries results error messages. Here you could find a screenshot of them. Could you fix this issue please? Thanks in advance. --Ak ccm (talk) 11:44, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
- No issues to fix; Labs updated to a new PHP version, which spews more (useless) warnings than the previous one. Deactivated minor warnings, all well now. --Magnus Manske (talk) 12:47, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks --Ak ccm (talk) 22:26, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
extension CategoryIntersection
Hi, you once created an extension https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:CategoryIntersection which seems unmaintained.
Can I still bother you with it?
On Mediawiki 1.24.1, I get this error: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method LinksUpdate::dumbTableUpdate() in /www/docs/wiki/extensions/CategoryIntersection/CategoryIntersection.php on line 86,
There does not seem to be a function dumbTableUpdate() anywhere, now.--Aloist (talk) 13:03, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
Problems with FIST
Related to my previous Problems with FIST post: I don't think FIST is currently returning any results no matter what users type. For example 'test' and 'Obama' and 'animal' all give 0 results. --82.136.210.153 (talk) 11:26, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
- Still broken. --82.136.210.153 (talk) 06:31, 29 January 2015 (UTC)

CommonsDelinker.
I am the author of image File:Benetton assassina.jpg which was deleted and I'm not finding the CommonsDelinker .
The image was important to the Wikipedia, and de CommonsDelinker is the site of deleted files. - Daniel Steinman (talk) 21:37, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
