[edit]Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:
- On the Walter Mercado page, your edit caused a broken reference name (help). (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:26, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
Primary sources and dates of birth
[edit]I've noticed you used a primary source to change the date of birth of SBF [1]. Per WP:BLPPRIVACY you should never use primary sources for DOBs. Also, astro databank is not a reliable source. The reliable secondary sources I could find state 6 March as DOB, not 5 March. AncientWalrus (talk) 22:35, 27 October 2023 (UTC)
- I noticed you have been advised before not to a) use primary sources for DOB, b) that astrodatabank is not reliable and c) that you should exercise caution linking to astrodatabank as you appear to have a COI regarding that website. See [2] AncientWalrus (talk) 22:51, 27 October 2023 (UTC)
- It is an unjustified claim to call Astrodatabank not reliable. In the case of SBF, it has published the birth certificate. How can that not be reliable? Do you seriously claim that it is faked? https://www.astro.com/astro-databank/File:SBF_birth_certificate.jpg. Today I have been able to backup the date from a so called reliable source, UK paper The Times: Lewis, Michael. "Sam Bankman-Fried: the rise and crash of a crypto billionaire". The Times.
