Speedy deletion declined: Billycart Kids
Hello JSFarman. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Billycart Kids, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The page was only recently made promotional, so instead of deleting it, I reverted it to the previous non-promotional version. Thank you. Jackmcbarn (talk) 04:02, 7 October 2020 (UTC)
- Jackmcbarn, Thank you for letting me know. I should have looked at the history, particularly since it blew my mind that the article had survived for 10 years. My faith has once again been restored! JSFarman (talk) 04:52, 7 October 2020 (UTC)
Draft:Tehama Inc.
Thanks, User:JSFarman, for reviewing this page, and for the information re the acceptability of crunchbase as a reliable source. I'm working to find alternate sources to substitute for those.
I'm curious about why WP views cruchbase so. Can you elucidate? WP's page on it reports: "Crunchbase sources its data in four ways: the venture program, machine learning, an in-house data team, and the Crunchbase community. Members of the public can submit information to the Crunchbase database. These submissions are subject to registration, social validation, and are often reviewed by a moderator before being accepted for publication."

- Hi Picky Weeds. Crunchbase isn't a reliable source; the content is not uniformly vetted. "Crunchbase sources its data in four ways: the venture program, machine learning, an in-house data team, and the Crunchbase community. Members of the public can submit information to the Crunchbase database. These submissions are subject to registration, social validation, and are often reviewed by a moderator before being accepted for publication." See guidance here. - Thanks again, JSFarman. I notice that on many pages for companies and corporations, the kind of basic info as appears in the Infobox, is referenced to the organization's own website, e.g. Shopify. Are citations such as these considered acceptable, or are such pages merely getting away with it? --Picky Weeds (talk) 18:23, 14 September 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry Picky Weeds, I only just saw this message. I believe that it's ok to use primary sources for very basic info and I can't find a policy that says otherwise. The only times that I remember seeing [citation needed] templates have been on BLPs, and usually it's to verify dates of birth. JSFarman (talk) 04:57, 7 October 2020 (UTC)

Draft:Global Task Force for Public Media
Hello JSFarman,
Just wondering if you'd be able to review my new draft for the Global Task Force for Public Media. You originally declined it on June 24, because the sources used were not independent from the Task Force. Since then, I replaced all the sources by independent ones. Does it meet the inclusion criteria as it is now?
I re-submitted it for review in late July. I was wondering if you'd be able to help move things along.
Thank you,
Julien.faille (talk) 15:06, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Julien.faille. Can you give it an edit for neutrality? (Not that much needs to change. The article just needs to have a completely NPOV.) Sources look good. Sorry for the delay! JSFarman (talk) 16:33, 19 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hello JSFarman, and thanks for your help on this! I followed up on your advice and made some further edits to the draft to make its tone neutral. Would you mind taking one more look? If there's any specific part that still lacks neutrality, please point it out so that I can adjust as needed. Thanks again! Julien.faille (talk) 20:03, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hi again Julien.faille. I did a minor copy edit and accepted the article. I'm not entirely sure it will stick -- the article is more about intentions than it is about actions -- but I'm not sure there's a policy that addresses that particular issue. Thanks for your patience! JSFarman (talk) 03:49, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for your edits, JSFarman. The format of the article makes much more sense as it is now. Julien.faille (talk) 13:23, 21 October 2020 (UTC)

Request for re-review, given change in circumstances
Hi. Can you take another look at Draft:Jordan Cohen, since he now meets our N standard for basketball? Thanks. --2604:2000:E010:1100:A162:CEEA:904E:E402 (talk) 19:49, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for the feedback but I need clarifications
Hi JSFarman,
I appreciate your feedback but I need more clarifications as stated below:
1. "References need to be independent of S.K. Nayar." Most everything placed as references are from external, reliable sources such as, established newspapers (Hindu) a national daily in India. Also, other references pertain to legitimate websites with specific biographies and writeups on the subject by verifiable sources. (Kerala Sahitya Akademi, University of Madras, Asan Memorial etc.)
2. Can you place the references that are valid after the assertions they support? Do you mean each citation needs to be at the end of the line and not specifically where the word is referenced? (Pl clarify and point to a good example versus a bad example on my page.)
3. I changed the caption (The Quintessential Teacher) to S.K. in 1980 to make it neutral.
I will be happy to make alterations and edit further as needed.
Thanks!
Lnayar — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lnayar (talk • contribs) 23:56, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Lnayar,
- I rejected the article based on notability; the other comments were intended to provide more guidance.
- To establish notability, extensive coverage via independent, reliable sources is required. I can't get to the Hindu Times - the article is behind a paywall, but most of the other refs merely mention his name, or include him on a list, or link to a catalogue listing. (The University of Madras ref links to an online payment site for the school.) Anything that he wrote or was affiliated with an organization he was involved with is not independent, and many of the refs are via sources that are unlikely to be considered reliable.
- The citations should immediately follow the statement it supports. For example, the entire Honors and Awards section is uncited - you would need a citation that specifically confirms that he received each of the awards. There is a *lot* of the article that is uncited. (Take a look at Harry Brand, which is the article I'm most proud of writing. You'll see that every statement can be verified via an independent, reliable source.)
- If you can find valid references, I will be happy to help you! I know you have put a lot of effort into the article. JSFarman (talk) 03:02, 1 December 2020 (UTC)

Clarification on a Declined Article
Hello,
I'm contacting you about an article that you declined to publish that I created. The article in question is Draft:Dez_Cleo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Dez_Cleo), I've provided links to independent websites citing articles about Dez Cleo as either an interview of the artist or a review of her music, I'm not sure sure why these are not being considered as reliable and failing the 'significant coverage' criteria. I have noticed other articles that have been apparently approved with less or similar citations on Wikipedia, I have listed these below. Clarifications on why some of these pages' citations are only from IMDB and considered 'Reliable' and not why that same criteria isn't being used to justify my article would be very helpful in understanding this ambiguous approval process.
Thank You.
Stacy Edwards Aviva Baumann Steve Bannos Mac McDonald — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hunar118 (talk • contribs) 02:32, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Hunar118,
- I read the draft, and given her history, I was surprised by the lack of coverage -- I did a search and didn't come up with much of anything beyond what you used. An argument could be made that she meets notability based on her inclusion on the Fright Night 2 soundtrack, or that she was signed to Hollywood, but I don't think those are strong claims.
- The sources you used are Buzz Music, Skope Entertainment Inc and AVA Live Music. Buzz appears to be advertorial, Skope is a full-service music based media company that can be hired, and I couldn't get a handle on AVA Live Music. Here's more information on reliable sources. Also, if the bulk of an article is an interview, the source isn't considered independent. (I don't agree with that, but it's all about consensus around here.)
- The approval process isn't ambiguous. Although there is room for interpretation, the the notability criteria is clearly defined. As for the articles you mentioned, keep in mind that there are 6.1 million articles on the English Wikipedia, and I'm sure many thousands are on on subjects that don't meet the inclusion criteria. It's just that they've gone unnoticed. That said, I tagged Aviva Baumann, Steve Bannos, and Mac McDonald; you are absolutely correct in your assessment. (Stacy Edwards won an Independent Spirt Award, and major awards confirm notability).
- Dez Cleo recently released new music, and I would think that more coverage is forthcoming! Maybe it's just too early.
- I hope that this helps. If you need more info -- or if you resubmit the article with more sources -- feel free to ping me.
Thanks! Julie JSFarman (talk) 01:12, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
Review of new page: EIP (law firm)
Hi Julie! You recently reviewed my submission for EIP which wasn't accepted owing to the lack of corporate notability. I'd be super grateful if you can give me your opinion on a couple of points below.
a) I used the primary criteria check box tool to see if the references establish corporate notability. Can you please let me know which criteria were not met in the references and, if any, which references were best? b) I have noticed that most comparable firms with articles have references that don't seem to meet the corporate notability criteria. Take Bristows for example (but it's true for almost every article in the IP firm category too!). The references are of awards and rankings, mentions in court cases, and content from the company website - coverage that EIP appears to have in similar abundance. Should any of these IP firms have Wikipedia articles based on the guidelines or is there something I missed in my submission?
I think EIP needs an article, so I really appreciate your time and any thoughts/advice you have. Cheers! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hambroave (talk • contribs) 08:36, December 7, 2020 (UTC) & — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hambroave (talk • contribs) 08:39, December 7, 2020 (UTC)
- Hi. :The Legal Business reference is valid, as it provides extensive coverage specifically about the firm. I can't get to the Times article (paywall), but WP requires multiple references, so IMHO it's not relevant -- two references are not sufficient to meet the general notability guide or the inclusion criteria for companies). Also note that references need to be independent; the Bath article is dependent on a press release. (The quotes are via a prepared statement.) Which of the primary criteria does the company meet? I'm happy to re-review. (Keep in mind that the coverage needs to be non-trivial -- a sentence or two does not suffice.)
- As for your concern about other articles, see my response above. Comes up all the time, that one. Consider them tagged. :Thanks for your contribution. I am quite interested in IP and it was interesting to read about a few of these cases. JSFarman (talk) 17:28, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- WOW - the IP law firm articles are garbage. I see why the decline didn't make sense given the existing articles. JSFarman (talk) 04:57, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

New Page Patrol December Newsletter
Hello JSFarman,
- Year in review
It has been a productive year for New Page Patrol as we've roughly cut the size of the New Page Patrol queue in half this year. We have been fortunate to have a lot of great work done by Rosguill who was the reviewer of the most pages and redirects this past year. Thanks and credit go to JTtheOG and Onel5969 who join Rosguill in repeating in the top 10 from last year. Thanks to John B123, Hughesdarren, and Mccapra who all got the NPR permission this year and joined the top 10. Also new to the top ten is DannyS712 bot III, programmed by DannyS712 which has helped to dramatically reduce the number of redirects that have needed human patrolling by patrolling certain types of redirects (e.g. for differences in accents) and by also patrolling editors who are on on the redirect whitelist.

- Reviewer of the Year
John B123 has been named reviewer of the year for 2020. John has held the permission for just over 6 months and in that time has helped cut into the queue by reviewing more than 18,000 articles. His talk page shows his efforts to communicate with users, upholding NPP's goal of nurturing new users and quality over quantity.
- NPP Technical Achievement Award
As a special recognition and thank you DannyS712 has been awarded the first NPP Technical Achievement Award. His work programming the bot has helped us patrol redirects tremendously - more than 60,000 redirects this past year. This has been a large contribution to New Page Patrol and definitely is worthy of recognition.

MusiCure draft review
Thanks for your comments regarding the MusiCure draft. I have changed the description. Please see my comment there. Thank you! Cookerid (talk) 14:48, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Cookerid. I rewrote the lead and left some notes on the draft.
- It is not relevant to reviewing the article, but for the record, my dad died recently, and music was essential to keeping him comfortable. So I completely believe in the concept.
- That said, given that MusiCure produces and sells music and accessories, it's a company. Unless it's a non-profit, that's the way it should be described. If you're using research conducted by Musica Humana, it's not an independent source. And the way that it's presented in the article reads as promotional. (Please note that neither the article on Musica Humana or the composer are properly referenced and are susceptible to deletion.)
- I wasn't able to find references via reliable, independent sources; can you add them? See notability guidelines for companies. If you resubmit the draft you will need to adhere to the guidelines for companies. Also give writing better articles a read. (I just read it for the first time in a while -- it really is helpful.)
- Thanks for the diligence and for the contribution. JSFarman (talk) 16:48, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks so much for your comments. My condolences for the loss of your father. I'm glad that music helped. Re your recommendations, I do support them fully, I'm just a bit stuck. I have tried only to quote studies made by third-party organisations, and not Musica Humana, specifically as they cannot be seen as independent. These are basically the only third-party references I have. It's a curious product, which I came across many years ago. It seems to have a specific and documented reach, but admittedly in the Scandinavian region. I really don't have any skin in the game though, and just wondered if I could help document what they did. Thanks again. I'll keep learning and see if I can improve anything. Cookerid (talk) 14:25, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
Dianna Cohen (activist) moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Dianna Cohen (activist), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. JSFarman (talk) 01:44, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
- When you don't realize an article has already been written. AND nominated for deletion.
I would like to comment on the Dianna Cohen article -- for what it is worth I vote to KEEP the article, and I want to help work on it. Dianna Cohen is a major figure in the environmental activism world. I can provide MUCH more information than is currently on the site. I was not trying to start a new article on DEc 16, but add to the one that is there already, because I could see it was really deficient.Jaws525 (talk) 17:07, 22 December 2020 (UTC)jaws525
- Jaws 535, you can edit however you see fit. And by all means add more info - that's what Wikipedia is about. Just be sure that whatever you add is verifiable, neutral, and written in an encyclopedic tone. The message you're seeing above is a message I sent myself, albeit unintentionally - it has nothing to do with you. JSFarman (talk) 17:27, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

Draft: Aztec Records
Hello JSFarman, I am a Spanish publisher with a lot of interest in music. I have contributed to improve the draft: Aztec Records, in which also Doomsdayer520 has helped me, who has been reviewing it little by little and helping me in the format, type of text etc. (You can see it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Doomsdayer520#Record_Labels%3A_Hispavox) As you are a music expert, can you review the draft and, if you think it's right, publish it? thanks a lot --RafiUbeda (talk) 17:36, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi RafiUbeda. There hasn't been enough coverage specifically about the label to meet the inclusion criteria. Articles about artists, including LAU (despite her involvement with the label) don't go towards notability; interviews without substantial editorial aren't considered independent. (FWIW, I don't agree with that assessment.) Sources need be independent -- which means no user-generated content (Discogs, Mixcloud) -- and reliable (which disqualifies Vents). I am going to decline the draft, but ping me when you've added references and I'll rereview ASAP. Thanks for asking and please let me know if you need help! I will add all these references to the talk page of the draft. Here I send you the link to that page, and I will try, with the help of other wikipedians, to improve the article. On Hester Diamond
I'm not sure this is the right, or best forum, but huge THANK YOU for the amazing work yesterday to create a wonderful page devoted to this overlooked woman in the arts. I'll probably tinker with it in the days coming up, but this is an amazing foundtion -- and done within hours of my tiny, lame appeal. Stunning, really. One wonders how you found the request, and how you gathered so much good information in such a short time, then composed a fine page. Many thanks. Johannes der Taucher (talk) 13:59, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Johannes der Taucher and thank you! Great message to wake up to.
- I came across the article about the auction in the New York Times, and despite being a Beasties fan for more than 30 years (OMG) I knew nothing about Mike D's mother. I added some info to the article on him just after you did, and saw your edit summary about designating Hester as a Woman in Red. I had actually been thinking the same thing; it blew me away that there wasn't already an article given her prominence.! That said, PLEASE tinker with it! There's a lot that I don't understand about that world; perhaps you can flesh out/explain the Barbara Hepworth deal? And add more about her collection? Her philanthropy? And whatever else is missing. There is a ton of great source material if you dig for it. Thank you so very much! JSFarman (talk) 17:38, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
Travis Montaque Wiki Page
Hi!
Thank you for your review of my Wiki article. I understand how it could read not as neutral as it should be. If this topic is not heavily sourced online, do you suggest keeping the article even shorter than it is now? Is it ok to keep the links to articles (like the one in Fortune Magazine, etc.) or should those be taken out too?
I know you mentioned the tone of the article as well. Any suggestions (like an example sentence change) of how I could do that? That would be super helpful!
This is the draft for reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Travis_Montaque
Thanks again.

- Hi CRP5649. There's more about his life in the references you used that can be added to the draft. I would add whatever is relevant (nothing trivial) as otherwise the article will lean toward hype. I would also avoid words live "pivoted" or "rebranded" as they add to the impression that the article is marketing. It will help if look at other bios, and follow the format that is generally used. Guidance is here. Hit me back if you have more questions or are ready for a re-review. Thanks! JSFarman (talk) 17:04, 19 October 2020 (UTC)
Hi JSFarman, back again because I just re-submitted my Wiki page. I took your notes and resources into account to make it more neutral, add more about Travis' life from the sources, and get rid of some unnecessary sources, words, and details. Please let me know if you'd be able to re-review this piece and let me know if I need to do anything else! Thank you - CRP5649 — Preceding unsigned comment added by CRP5649 (talk • contribs) 20:30, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
Hi JSFarman - just wanted to see if there were any updates on the approval of my Wiki? thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by CRP5649 (talk • contribs) 15:56, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hi CRP5649 and apologies on the delay.
- I did an edit on the article and added some info and refs. I think it's good to go but let's give it a couple of days to see if someone else reviews and accepts it. (I don't consider myself entirely neutral at this point - he seems like a superstar!) JSFarman (talk) 00:50, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
Thank you so much! Really appreciate you taking the time to make edits to this! — Preceding unsigned comment added by CRP5649 (talk • contribs) 14:10, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
Just one more question @JSFarman - i have a photo to upload, but I read up on the copyright rules with Wiki and I'm not sure if it will be accepted. Should I hold off on uploading a photo? I don't want it to ruin my chances of getting the article accepted. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by CRP5649 (talk • contribs) 14:35, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
- My pleasure (re helping).
- The copyright owner of the photo needs to sign off on a release in order to use the photo - you want to make sure you're all clear before you upload it. [[Here's the license. Having a photo won't impact your review. Def get the permission first! JSFarman (talk) 21:37, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
Hi @JSFarman ... do you have any insights into the approval process for this one? It doesn't seem to be re-reviewed since October. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by CRP5649 (talk • contribs) 15:27, 26 January 2021 (UTC)

Johnny McGhee
Thanks so much for looking over the draft of Johnny mcGhee Trumpeter https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Johnny_McGhee . I hope this is the right place to ping you a message that I have now made the suggested amendments and added the verifiable sources. This is my first article so I'm really grateful for your feedback. 15700Cathy15700cathy (talk) 11:17, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- My pleasure, 15700cathy. And yes, this is the right place to leave a message. I'll take a look this afternoon. You've done a great job with it - amazing that it's your first! Thanks for writing the article - I didn't know about him and after reading the draft I was like "I can't believe there's not already an article!" Thanks for the message also.JSFarman (talk) 17:16, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
Johnny McGhee
Thank you so much for your review. So pleased he is remembered beyond vinyl and his wah wah sound has been attributed to a remarkable understated but seminal musician.Off to celebrate the approval with a play of Cow Cow Boogie :) All best wishes 15700Cathy15700cathy (talk) 22:57, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

- 15700cathy - Thanks! Such a great song (and new to me).
- I've been doing a bit more research - it appears that he was more well known as a coronet player? (And that he had a tagline: Johnny McGhee and his Singing Coronet.) Thanks for writing the article. (My Dad was a huge fan of 30s music - it's so cool to discover new artists.) Hope you stick around! There are a lot of articles that need to be written. :) Julie JSFarman (talk) 23:42, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
Draft: Derek Jones (bassist)
Hi JSFarman! I hope this is the right place to contact you. You recently gave me some very valuable feedback about a page that I'm trying to create about the bassist Derek Jones. My submission was denied, but I believe I've addressed the issues, mainly providing more outside sources. Would you be able to take a look at the page again and see if I really did fix the issues? I just don't want to submit the draft again, get denied, and have the page deleted. Here is the link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Derek_Jones_(bassist)
Thank you so much in advance!
- Hello Argoarts and thanks for your kind and happy message. So rare when an article is declined.
- So, bad news/good news. The bad news is that you're still lacking the extensive coverage required -- you should go for at least three articles via independent reliable sources that provide extensive coverage of Derek Jones specifically. References via his label or products he endorses don't establish notability. Listings don't provide the extensive coverage necessary.
- The good news is that the draft won't be deleted unless you stop working on it for six months or longer. And even then, you can easily request that it be undeleted. Keep searching if you have the heart for it and please ping me if/when you find the references required and I'll review the article ASAP.
- Thanks again for the message! JSFarman (talk) 18:42, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

Dianna Cohen
Hi,
I tried to be very factual, I took your feedback into account. Can you please explain to me how I can factual report that Dianna Cohen was interviewed in a Seaspiracy about the fishing equipment plastic? She is the CEO of one of the major NGO on that topic and the documentary was part of the top 10 views of Netflix. I fail to understand why that would be a poor source, why that would be defamatory if I only report what the documentary shows. Finally everybody seems to be ok to mention that Dianna Cohen surfs even though she is hardly important in the surfing community, however you don't think it's important to mention her view on plastics, even though she is an important figure in the movement to remove plastic from our lives? Help me understand please instead of threatening me. Accolondegaule (talk) 11:20, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- Accolondegaule, again: please read references, neutrality, and biographies of living people. Your edits were not neutral and they were poorly referenced. I understand that you believe you were being factual but if you want to understand Wikipedia, read the articles linked above. If you still don't understand why your edits were problematic I'd be happy to explain, as would other editors. But give the guidance a shot. It's pretty clear. JSFarman (talk) 15:50, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- User:JSFarman, Thank you for your answer. I read the guidelines. I understand that the tone of what I initially wrote was wrong. I do feel that the fact that she was interviewed and the fact that her organization focuses on consumer plastic and not fishing equipment plastic fits the guidelines and since she is a public figure leading an organization focusing on plastics in the ocean it is worth mentioning. I'm not sure that Netflix documentaries can be considered a reputable source in general but plenty of documentaries on Netflix are referenced on Wikipedia so I assumed it was, especially if being careful about the wording. Finally I feel that oceanic pollution and how NGOs are addressing the issue is a Wikipedia worthy subject. Could you please help me write it in the best simple manner.
- Accolondegaule, hi.
- In my opinion, reliable sources are objective, and documentaries (the good ones anyway) always have a point of view. I'm sure docs have been used as sources on Wikipedia, but being used in one article doesn't mean it's ok to use them in another article. (See Other stuff exists.)
- I tried to find valid sources that would support the content that you want to add, but didn't come up with much of anything. From The Guardian to the New York Times, the consensus is that the film is misleading. In Vox, the unquestionably credible Daniel Pauly wrote "'Seaspiracy' does more harm than good. It takes the very serious issue of the devastating impact of industrial fisheries on life in the ocean and then undermines it with an avalanche of falsehoods. It also employs questionable interviewing techniques, uses anti-Asian tropes, and blames the ocean conservation community, i.e., the very NGOs trying to fix things, rather than the industrial companies actually causing the problem."
- Based on the sources, you can't adhere to Wikipedia guidelines while implying Dianna Cohen, as the head of the Plastic Pollution Coalition, is somehow in the pocket of the fishing industry or state that the organization is questionable in their motives.
- That said, I admire your resolve and your determination to do Wikipedia the right way. I'm sure there are other articles that you can contribute to and improve, and if you need help, I'm all about it. JSFarman (talk) 01:31, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
JSFarman Ok, I understand. Just to be clear, not once did I think that she was in the pocket of the fishing industry, but simply that her priorities were wrong. That said, I hear your point about the reliability of the documentary and will let it go.
Accolondegaule, I hope you stick around. If you're interested in contributing further, check out Wiki for Human Rights Challenge - there are articles that need to be written that you might be interested in. Thanks for being open minded and hope to cross paths again. JSFarman (talk) 15:46, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

Chuck Crisafulli page
Hi JSFarman, I'm only now catching up on my Wiki projects and saw your comments. I feel stuck at the moment in my work on the page and wondered if you may be able to give me a hand with changing some of the language? I read through the link you sent over, but I really seem to be struggling to see how to formalise some of my language used. I've changed the structure of the page today, so the Critical Reception isn't interwoven in the main body. Hopefully this formalises the page a touch and makes it seem more impartial (as it is). I realise you mentioned that you knew Chuck in another lifetime, so I wouldn't ask you to edit any of the actual content, but just grammatically and syntactically it would be so helpful! If not, do not worry. Have a lovely day!
- Hi Morral08 and apologies for the delay. I haven't been online a lot recently. Chuck's article needs an edit in tone - the article needs to be formal - but there aren't references that will establish his notability, so it's kind of a moot point. (References need to be independent - interviews generally don't qualify. Anything written by Chuck does not go towards notability.)
- It is not an unusual situation! It's very difficult for writers (particularly journalists) to meet the inclusion criteria. There are so may journalists who should have articles but don't. It can be very frustrating (as I'm sure you have realized). JSFarman (talk) 16:55, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
- Delighted to see that Theroadislong accepted the article! Ecstatic to see Chuck in Wikipedia. JSFarman (talk) 14:30, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
