Speedy deletion nomination of User:Hilspress
[edit]A tag has been placed on User:Hilspress requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. User page
[edit]Sorry, but your user page does not conform to Wikipedia's user page guidelines. It is intended for basic information about yourself and your Wikimedia-related activities. Although a lot of freedom is allowed in personalizing your user page, it is not:
- an encyclopedia article (and should not be styled to look like one)
- a workspace for a draft article
- a personal website, blog, or social media site
- a space for self-promotion or other advertising
- a CV/resumé
- a lengthy autobiography
The user page guidelines have additional information on what is and what is not considered acceptable content. Thank you. Best, GPL93 (talk) 16:31, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
It's not a user page, it's my username. I have not intention of whatsoever to go contrary to Wikipedia policies and copyright. Hilspress (talk) 21:11, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Hilspress

A tag has been placed on User:Hilspress, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. (See section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Ode Ntezi. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Draft:Ode Ntezi. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Draft:Ode Ntezi. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at [[Talk:Draft:Ode Ntezi|the article's talk page]].
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:28, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

Hello, Hilspress
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Yeeno, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Kenneth Ogbodo, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to contest the deletion:
- Edit the page
- Remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- Click the button.
If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Yeeno}}
. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

File copyright problem with File:Hon. Ademorin Aliu Kuye.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Hon. Ademorin Aliu Kuye.jpg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Vladlen Manilov ✉ / 08:01, 17 May 2022 (UTC)

The article Francis Onwugamba has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Shirt58 (talk) 11:03, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Donald Chukwu requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The article Philip Obin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No evidence of actual notability, sources are not neutral reporting but political activism shrouded in pseudo-journalistic appearance. E.g. the first source ends with "Would you rather trade your future, the future of the next generation for peanuts and deceits? No! No!! No!!!.
Support Philip Obin for Biase Local Government Chairman.
Think Biase! Think Philip!"
Minor offices only so far, and no evidence that he is actually notable as a "media personality" and so on either.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fram (talk) 10:20, 12 July 2022 (UTC)

When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Hello Hilspress. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Ifeoma Okafor-Obi, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Hilspress. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Hilspress|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 18:21, 30 July 2022 (UTC)

Aboriginal Democracy moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Aboriginal Democracy, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. In addition, please read WP:NOTESSAY.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. The article Mayolee has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Promotional. Fails GNG and BIO. Sources in article and BEFORE do not show IS RS have SIGCOV addressing the subject directly and indepth.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. // Timothy :: talk 04:41, 3 April 2023 (UTC)

Kola Oyeneyin moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Kola Oyeneyin, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And despite the WP:CITEBOMBing, it currently doesn't have any. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:

- Thank you for your observations, but I do think that the page has many reliable secondary sources that are independent. These sources have wide coverages on the notability of the biography in Nigeria, coupled with having been nominated and appointed into the government, an event that drew some awareness hence covered by the mainstream media platforms in Nigeria.
